Thank you for all the reviews I've been getting on this story recently, I love reading through them all and I'm glad that people are enjoying this story so far! :)
It had been almost a week since Tyler had moved to the Bay and things were going a lot better than any of them expected. He followed Brax's house rules more than they were expecting after their first encounter with him, and he was even making a huge amount of effort at the gym. Kyle was getting along with him great as well, which pleased Lucas who thought it would take more convincing. Although Casey was still causing trouble for them which didn't look like it was going to calm down anytime soon.
Braxton House
"Hey Casey, I thought you were working today?" Kyle says as he walks through the door, seeing his brother sitting on the couch.
"I was meant to be but then your triplet came in and stole my shift from me." Casey grunts.
"Have we done something to upset you?" Kyle asks, not knowing where this came from.
"Why is it you three can come into this family and think you can start throwing your weight around like you own the place?" Casey shouts, standing up to face him. "This is my family and I won't have you ruining things! It was better when it was just me, Brax and Heath."
"Wow." Kyle shakes his head as he chuckles. "You really are pissed that Brax didn't ask you to be at his wedding to Ricky, even though it's what they wanted."
"It's got nothing to do with them." Casey glares. "If you weren't being so pathetic about being cheated on again, Brax never would have asked you, he would have asked me like it should have been! You're not even our proper brother!"
"Casey!" Heath shouts from the doorway, Brax stood behind him.
"No, please carry on, I'd like to know what else you think about me!" Kyle stares at him, Brax getting involved before more could be said.
"Casey, get to work." Brax orders.
"My shift was taken off me by Tyler." Casey huffs.
"No it wasn't, Tyler is covering for me and you'd know that if you bothered to listen properly." Heath says, shaking his head as Casey barges past them and out the door.
"What was that about?" Brax asks Kyle.
"All I asked is if he was working today, and then he just started going off on one." Kyle says. "Least I know I'm not wasting my time around here." He sarcastically says.
"And what's that supposed to mean?" Heath asks.
"Well I'm not a proper brother, so what's the point in me living here?" Kyle asks. "This house is crowded enough without me and my triplets being unwanted and living here as well. Maybe moving away with Tyler and Lucas was never the bad option, choosing to stay here was." He says, walking back out to clear his head.
"What the hell is wrong with Casey lately?" Heath asks Brax. "Cause if this doesn't get sorted, the triplets will move away and we won't see them again. If we lose the chance to be around our brothers because of Casey, then I'm out as well."
"We won't lose them." Brax says.
"Casey has shouted at Tyler in front of clients nearly every shift he's had with him. He causes grief for Lucas when he goes up to Angelo's for lunch and he's making digs at Kyle." Heath says. "They're getting fed up, I've noticed it, Bianca has noticed it, and so has Ricky. Do what is best for this family or it'll just be you, Ricky and Casey left living here. It's your choice now."
Summer Bay Beach
"You basically gave Brax an ultimatum over his brothers, do you really think that was the best thing to do?" Bianca asks as they stroll down the beach.
"He gave me one not too long ago, it worked out alright for me." Heath shrugs.
"That was a completely different situation. You were made to choose between crime and family. You've made Brax choose between one brother and the triplets." Bianca says.
"And if he doesn't do something about Casey's attitude lately, the triplets are going to leave. Kyle's already said it's going to happen if it carries on." Heath says. "I know it probably wasn't the best thing to do but I don't want to lose Kyle. I know that sometimes we fall out over stupid things, but it doesn't mean I see him as less of a brother. I don't even see him as a half brother, he's one of us."
"And that's great and I know Kyle appreciates it but you have to do what's right for everyone. For now, why don't you make the triplets see how much they're wanted here and you'll have more chance of them staying." Bianca says.
"Well Lucas likes surfing with us every now and then, maybe Tyler will choose to get into it as well." Heath says.
"Looks like you're not the only one venting to a girlfriend." Bianca says, gesturing up ahead.
"They're doing great now." Heath says, smiling at how happy Kyle looked with Emily, despite everything going on.
"It's true love." Bianca smiles. "They've proven that they can get through anything and still be a strong couple."
"Hi." Emily smiles as they approach them.
"Went running to your girlfriend to offload I see." Heath smirks.
"And you didn't?" Kyle scoffs.
"I suggested you all talk it out as a family. That way you can all tell each other your problems and be able to work through them as a family." Emily says.
"That's not a bad idea." Bianca says, glancing at Heath. "Maybe it's something that can be organised." She says.
"I'll let Brax know." Heath lightly rolls his eyes, knowing that's what she was getting at.
"I'm sure everyone can be free this afternoon so this can be sorted sooner." Bianca says as he pulls his phone out to text Brax.
"It's almost as if you two have been talking about it." Kyle comments, glancing between Emily and Bianca.
"Great minds think alike." Emily grins at him. "I asked Ricky for help when you were telling me."
"So you've been venting to her this whole time?" Heath asks his brother as he puts his phone back in his pocket.
"No, I've been reminding Emily that I don't need to hear about every second of her day because it's not necessary." Kyle says.
"But I don't want to keep things from you, so I need to tell you." Emily says.
"And as I've already said, I didn't mean everything, I just mean when a guy is trying it on with you, buying you flowers or getting you drunk, or stalking you. I don't need to know the exact minute you woke up or what you spoke about with your brothers." Kyle says. "And I don't want to sound ungrateful but it's slightly annoying."
"Sorry." Emily blushes as Heath's phone goes off again. "I'll try to refrain from over informing."
"That's Brax, he wants us all in Angelo's this afternoon." Heath says as he reads the text, glancing up at the girls. "That includes you two as well apparently."
"Why us two?" Emily asks.
"You're dating a Braxton, that means you come to family meetings if they apply to you. You'll have to ask Brax why." Heath says, not really sure himself, he just made that up.
"I've been to a couple, you'll be fine." Bianca says.
"I don't think Brax likes me anymore. He completely blanked me when I saw him the other day." Emily mutters.
"He doesn't like many people, you'll get used to it." Heath says, Bianca glaring at him.
"He used to like me until… He thinks I'm going to do it again, doesn't he?"
"You just have to prove that you can be trusted again." Heath says. "You did with Kylie, so it won't take much more convincing to get Brax back on side again."
"Don't call me that." Kyle glares, not having been called it by his brother for a while.
"Why not you big girl?" Heath smirks.
"Heath." Bianca scowls. "Leave your brother alone."
"Ha, you've been told again." Kyle smirks, loving it when his big brothers got told off by Ricky or Bianca.
"Shut your mouth." Heath glares, angrily folding his arms. "Let's just go up to Angelo's and see if we can get this family meeting done sooner. It's probably going to be a long one as it is."
"Okay." Kyle nods.
As they started making their way back up the beach towards the Surf Club, they all got thinking about what was going to be mentioned at the meeting. Kyle knew it would mainly be based around what would happen now both of his triplets were living in the Bay, and why Casey was suddenly so against having them around.
All Emily could think of was how she was going to make things with Brax and to gain his trust back. She knew she probably didn't need to but Kyle looked up to Brax a lot, she saw it before and she can see it's even stronger now. This was going to be her next task, and she reckoned that she would need Ricky onside to help out, knowing it wouldn't be too hard to convince her.
