The eyes of all three lit up.
"Is he ok?" Abby asked.
"He is doing well. But his is in a drugged up, post-surgery state so he's resting." The nurse explained.
"Can we see him?" Ziva asked.
"Well. for the moment. No. He's in the recovery ward at the moment I will come back and inform you when you can."
"When he is allowed visitors, am I allowed to go?" Ziva asked pulling up her restraints.
"You may. But you will need to be careful when heading down to his room."
"Ok. Thank you."
The nurse left.
Jimmy merely looked confused.

"My dear. Jethro had come out of surgery." Ducky informed Tony.
"Really? can we see him?"
"For the moment no. He is in the recovery ward. He's drugged up."
"Hee hee. Can you imagine Gibbs drugged up?" Tony laughed.
Jenny and Ducky pondered that question.
"Actually. Now that I think about it, I have never seen Jethro in such a state."
"Yes when I think about it... I haven't seen him drugged up before either." Jenny added.
"Ohohoho. Gibbs drugged and Ziva restrained. This has got to be the best day of my life." Tony chuckled.
Jenny and Ducky smiled.
"Do you want to see Abby and Jimmy?" Jenny asked.
"Actually. I would like to see them very much."
"Ok. We will switch over then."

They switch over rooms and then they after an hour and a half they all had to go home. Tony was able to be discharged and leave the hospital with everyone else. But he had to be monitored for 48 hours. Abby and Ducky would swap over at Ducky's house. Ziva Had to stay for another day or two because she needed to be kept under observation by doctors for a bit. Gibbs on the other hand would be having a pretty nice, long stay in the ICU then transferred to another hospital bed not in the ICU.
Jenny slumped down into her chair. She sighed and shut her eyes. She was beyond exhausted. She needed a break. She thought about calling SECNAV to let her take a weeks leave. She was about to make a call when her calling machine rang first. She sighed and then took a deep breath. She picked up the phone.
"Director Shepard."
"Hello Director Shepard. This is Director David."
