Last time, Team RWBY made it to the gym and Rusty managed to win his second badge (whether by a miracle or actual skills), but Team RWBY would like to take a break after going through the jungle. So they went to the beach and captured some water-based Pokemon in order to deal with Adrian's beach/tropical style Pokemon. These include Ultima Corsola, which is fire and water-type and Chatot, normal and flying-type. Blake and Yang are trying to figure out how to deal with them while in their hut. Blake is sitting on one side of the bed while Yang is sitting on the other as they try to figure out how to use their new Pokemon from both the Salsa Jungle and what they caught on the beach.
"Hmm..." Yang went as she looks down at her Megadex on the two Pokemon.
Blake is looking at her Megadex and says, "Maybe I could use Stunfisk on the Corsola."
Yang rubs the back of her head, "This is difficult. Chatot can use a steel-type move against rock-types but I wonder if it can learn electric-type moves."
Blake holds up her Megadex, "I don't think so, but checking may not hurt."
Ruby pops in with Weiss in tow as she sings, "We're baa-aack!"
Weiss is gonna be direct, "There's a ship in the docks right now."
"Huh?" the two stopped and look at Weiss.
Ruby sounds excited, "Yeah! There's a big ship with a lot of people coming out!"
The four went outside and see a large, luxurious ship being docked at the docks with a lot of people wearing sport jerseys similar to Adrian's.
"Are they Adrian's fans?" Yang asks.
"Is there some big game happening?" Blake asks, "I know that Adrian likes sports, but I don't think now is a time for a sports event."
"Might be some soccer game of some schools." Ruby says.
"No it's not, you wankas!"
The team look behind them and see Adrian holding his surfboard.
"And its football, not soccer."
"Then what's the occasion?" Weiss asks.
Adrian grins, "Simple. They're here to see a double battle between the two of you girls and me. Plus, some big shot showed-up and he's got eight badges."
"Eight badges?" Ruby sounds impressed, "Must be someone tough! I wanna watch!"
Yang gets excited as she slams her right fist on her palm, "This should be good! Blake and I are gonna tear you a new one."
Adrian says, "Yeah, buuut... You two are the opening act."
Yang's eyes turn red as she yells out, "WHAT?!"
Adrian is startled to see Yang's eyes turn a different color.
"I think that's fair." Blake agrees with Adrian, "Since we don't have enough skills to take on more powerful Pokemon and we don't have a single badge. So, we'll oblige."
Yang calms down as her eyes went from fiery red to back to lilac. "Okay, fine. But your next match better be worth it."
"Um...sure..." Adrian just walk by and still a bit startled by Yang's eyes changing colored.
As he went away, Ruby asks, "By the way, what's a wanka?"
Yang says, "You'll learn when you're old enough."
"Oka- HEY! I am old enough!"
Weiss says, "Physically speaking, but not mentally."
"Weiss! Not you, too."
AN: Kids, it means dolt or jerk. Done the work for ya so you wouldn't have to Google it. Also, does anyone want fish and chips? Chips, in the United Kingdoms (England, Scotland, Wales and a small piece of Ireland), means fries. Y'know, the potato stick things served in every fast food joint. Sorry, I couldn't resist pulling a fast one.
In the gym, the bleachers are filled with an excited crowd as they cheer for the upcoming battles that are about to take place. Some people are wearing the same football jerseys as Adrian, which means they are his dedicated fans and would like to see the main battle once Adrian is done with Blake and Yang. Many of them are even holding Galar and Alola Region flags with the Galar Region flag being similar to the UK flag yet has two red diagonal swords with a yellow shield with a Pokeball in the middle. The Alola Region flag has two colors crossed in half with one being orange and the other being a dark shade of purple. It also has a sun and a moon on it with both being white but the sun as four points with half of it covered by the moon. The color of the points are yellow, pink, red, and blue. The colors of the guardian deities. Everyone is excited for the match to begin and are in anticipation to see what comes.
On one side of the arena, Adrian is standing there in his gym leader outfit and is just as eager as the crowd. On the other side Blake and Yang are more than anxious to get the show on the road.
"Hey!" Adrian says with his Pokeballs out in each hand, "You girls ready?!"
Yang and Blake have their Pokeballs out as Yang says, "Heck yeah!"
"Alright! Let the battle begins!" the crowd cheers as he throws them, "Go Chatot and Corsola!"
Both his Chatot and Corsola are out and ready to fight.
"And you know the rules! You can use all your Pokemon and free to substitute but you two can only use one Pokemon each! I cannot do any substitutions since I can only have two!"
Yang throws a Pokeball up in the air and says, "Goooo Jellydude!" Yang has a Tentacool out and is ready to fight.
Blake throws hers and what comes out is a Stunfisk. A regular Stunfisk. Sorry guys, no Fakemon just yet.
Adrian thinks to himself, 'A Stunfisk and a Tentacool. I'm guessing Blake's Stunfisk might have the static ability, so best to avoid using physical contact moves. Yang's Tentacool doesn't have the poison touch ability but could have either liquid ooze or clear body. Yet its poison is no joke.'
With that, the battle begins!
"Corsola, use bubble beam! And Chatot, use chatter!"
Corsola fires a beam of bubbles while the sound waves of Chatot's chatter scatters the bubble beam to the two Pokemon.
Blake orders, "Stunfisk, use thunder shock!"
And Yang orders, "Jellydude, use supersonic!"
Jellydude use supersonic from the red jewels on his head while Stunfisk's body starts to charge up with static electricity all over. The supersonic Jellydude use cause the two sounds waves to cause rippling effects on the bubbles. Then Stunfisk unleash his thunder shock that goes from one bubble to another until it hits their targets and it is super effective.
"Oh no!"
Yang orders, "Jellydude, toss Stunfisk!"
"Stunfisk, use tackle!"
Jellydude grabs Stunfisk by the tail and tosses him towards Chatot. Stunfisk uses tackle on Chatot before ricochet to Corsola. Stunfisk back away and suffers from burn from Corsola's flame body. But the kick off is that both Chatot and Corsola suffer from paralysis from Stunfisk's static.
Yang holds her Pokeball and says, "Alright, Jellydude, return!" Then throws another one, "Go, Frostera!"
The Pokemon that pops out is a four-legged frog Pokémon with bright red cheeks and a purple underbelly. It has purple stripes down its back and a small tail. It has two small nostrils and its eyes have red irises. This Pokemon is called a Folerog. This Pokemon is actually from the Salsa Jungle that Team RWBY went though.
Blake also holds her Pokeball, "You too, Stunfisk." Then throws another one, "Go, Tubjaw!"
The Pokemon Blake chose is a fish-like Pokemon that has a blue body with dark purple fins with an oval body and a piranha-like head. It has green teeth on its menacing smile, green eyes with a slit-like pupil, and green spots on the sides that are oval shape with diamond shapes on the side of this oval. This Pokemon was caught in the beach where the team went fishing.
"What kind of Pokemon are those?" a girl in the audience wonders what they are so she pulls out her Megadex.
Folerog. The long toad Pokemon and the evolved form of Fortog. Water and poison-type. Folerog can't swim but they need to remain damp to survive, so they are found in grasslands next to rivers and lakes.
Tubjaw. The jaws Pokemon. Water and dark-type. Tubjaw are able to unhinge their jaws in order to swallow prey larger than their head. Their teeth are sharper than razors.
AN: These Pokemon are from Pokemon Uranium. Now we got some Fakemon.
'What in the world?' Adrian tries to puzzle what is happening, 'The Pokemon they had earlier already have me on the ropes. Why the change?'
Yang orders, "Use supersonic!"
Frogstera opens her mouth and unleashes a torrent of sound waves. They hit the two Pokemon and are now confuse with stars for eyes and stars over their heads. Correction, they are both paralyzed and confused.
Blake orders, "Use bite!"
Tubjaw jumps her way over to Chatot and bites it in the legs as it screams in pain.
Yang orders, "Now use sludge on 'em!"
Frogstera spits poison out of her mouth and hit right in the eyes of Chatot and Corsola. Normally, in the games, the Pokemon would be effected by a status effect and confusion. But in reality, Pokemon can suffer from more than two status conditions. The Pokemon are now paralyzed, poison and confused as they desperately thrash around while also blinded from the sludge. The two Pokemon hit each other and started to attack each other as Tubjaw slips away. On the monitor, the HP of Corsola and Chatot are dropping fast.
"Both of you, stop!" Adrian tries to stop his Pokemon from attacking each other. "STOP!" But to no avail. His words cannot reach them.
"Whoa!" a young man from the audience is impressed. "Having your opponent's Pokemon suffer from three status conditions, have them blinded and get them to attack each other? These girls must be experts!"
"Actually, they don't have badges." says the guy next to him.
"Seriously?!"
One girl says, "I saw them before! They were at the Brazil Pokemon Contest and the Brazil Pokemon Showcase!"
One teenage boy holds up a sign that has Yang's name on it with hearts all over, "Y to the A to the N to the G! Yang rules and... I forgot to rhyme something with the G."
One teenage girl cheers, "You go, girls!"
"Interesting." says a young man with a red cap while sitting on the couch and watches the match on the TV. "Looks like this Pokemon League Conference will be the toughest I ever had to go through. I better get my A game ready." He starts grinning, "This will be the best one yet."
Both Chatot and Corsola are feeling a bit woozy as their HP is getting closer to the red. Yet Yang and Blake deliver the final blow.
"Tubjaw, use aqua jet!"
"Frogstera, use bubble beam!"
Tubjaw is surrounded by water and leaps towards the two with a torrent of bubbles surrounding Tubjaw as she moves super fast and POW! Both Corsola and Chatot are knocked-out and returned to their Pokeballs. The monitor then shows Yang and Blake as the winners with confetti and fireworks. The crowd cheers for such a brilliant scheme on Adrian's Pokemon.
Later on, Yang and Blake get their Palm Badge along with their prize money and TM's. The crowd cheers as the two hold up their badges their four Pokemon dance for joy.
"That was awesome!" Ruby says while clapping.
"Indeed." Weiss admits that it was a good battle. "But I'm more interested in this trainer with eight badges. Wonder what this person is right?"
Ruby stops and asks Weiss, "Could this person be a boy or a girl?"
"Don't know. I never had a chance to ask."
After an intermission, Blake and Yang sat next to Ruby and Weiss.
"Hey there!~" Yang sings.
"Sorry for the wait." Blake sits next to Weiss. "I did found out who the next trainer is."
"Who is it?" Weiss asks.
"Someone from the Kanto Region. A legendary trainer from what everyone says."
Then the PA comes on, "Ladies and gentlemen! Boys and girls! Prepare for the next match. Gym leader Adrian will be fighting against a legendary trainer from the Kanto Region. You know who it is! For this prodigy went off to help out Prof. Oak, won against his rival in the Indigo Plateau Pokemon League, found the new Pokemon, Mewtwo and survived up to one year on Mt. Silver!"
From the other side of the field, coming out of the entrance, there is a teenage boy with pale brown hair, gray eyes, wearing a red and white cap, and adorning a red sleeveless jacket with a white collar and stripe, black undershirt, baggy blue jeans with black, red and white running shoes.
"Give it up for our next challenger: Red!"
The crowd cheers in a frenzy as Red enters onto the field.
"Red?!" Yang says in surprise.
"The guy who was the champion until Franklin beat him!?" Weiss is just as surprised, "That Red?!"
"Wow!" Ruby is excited and eager to see this battle, "I can't wait to see this!" She is having a hard time keeping still and anxious to see this gym battle.
Yet Blake goes, "I'm more interested to see what a battle would look like if you have a high amount of badges."
Red, the legendary Pokemon trainer of the Kanto Region, has entered the battlefield and looks serious yet has an excitable smile on his face as he throws an ultra ball up and down. Adrian is just as serious as Red for this will be the most epic gym battle that is about to take place. Stay tune for the next exciting chapter!
