Chapter 42 The shopping trip part 1
9th January 1998, Entrance Hall, Potter Manor
Andi came down and she sees that all the girls are ready most of them with a look she knows all too well a look excited about shopping for clothes. She never had that look but Dora did and most of the muggle she met or saw did too.
When Hermione sees that everyone who wants or can go are here she says "now that everybody is here. I will tell you what we are going to do. We apparate to London, Oxford street and to be precise Gee's court that is a side street. Those who know the place can apparate, the others will be brought by house-elves Tolly, Dissey and Wissy will bring you when I call them. Wissy will only bring you as she wants to make lunch for those that stay hereafter ."
Everybody nods. Hermione continues "great. I was thinking the best is going to Oxford Street in London as there are many shops and while there are quite a couple of expensive shops there are also shops that aren't too expensive. We will go to a mall. I can understand if not everyone knows what it is but I am sure we will find what we want or need there. Narcissa Harry said to me you have a card that is like a muggle bank card right?"
Narcissa nods and Hermione asks "do you know how much is on the card?"
Narcissa nods again. Hermione smiles and says "can you tell me how much?"
Narcissa shakes her head. Hermione looks disappointed before she asks "why not?"
Before Narcissa can answer Astoria says "I, Astoria Ann Black neé Greengrass, order you, Narcissa Black, to tell us how much is on the muggle card."
Narcissa says "I am sorry Lady Black but I cannot Lord Black forbade me to tell you. All I can say is that it is Pound Sterling and I am ordered to not exceed it unless it is important."
Astoria asks in her mind 'Harry why can't Narcissa tell us?... Harry?... Harry?'
Harry doesn't answer. Hermione thinks 'let this go Astoria if Harry doesn't want to answer he will not at least not right now.'
Hermione asks "who knows Oxford Street?"
Katie, Fay, Penelope, Megan and Sally-Ann admit they do. Emma of course also know but she can't apparate and Andi also knows where it is been but the last time is very long ago so if she knew a place where she could apparate it could now be inside a building or worse a wall.
Hermione thinks for a minute before she says "let's do it like this. I can apparate two people. What about you Katie, Penelope, Fay, Megan and Sally-Ann?"
Fleur says "I know too Hermione. But I was only there once and don't remember much."
Hermione says "then it is better if you don't apparate on your own."
Katie says "I can take two to as I did with Penny and Fay."
Penelope and Fay nod and say that they can two as they apparate a couple of times with one of them guiding the other two. Megan and Sally-Ann say that they have never tried two but probably can do one.
Hermione nods again and says "then we do it like this. I take Susan and Daphne. Fay, you take Astoria and Tracey. Penelope, you take Luna and Hannah. Megan, you take Padma and Sally-Ann you take Parvati. The others will get to the location by the elves. Is that okay with everyone?"
Everybody nod and Hermione says "well let's go."
Susan says "Hermione do I don't think we can apparate from here because of the wards."
Hermione says "we can Bill told me that as Lady Potter as should the other ladies Potter, Lady Black and Lady Bones."
Daphne says "that is probably true but that means Megan and Sally-Ann with Padma and Parvati can't."
Hermione says "oh yeah you are right. We should walk to the end of the property then. When we get back we should ask Harry to allow everyone to apparate in and out even if it is only temporally."
Most nod before Hermione opens the front door to walk towards the front of the property which took almost 10 minutes. Everyone follows including Toll, Dissey and Wissy.
Everyone who goes is all the girls, Narcissa, Andi, Bella, the Delacour's except Antione, Bill, Isabel, Emma, Kingsley and Remus. Bill and Kingsley need clothes but are also as protection. Remus has muggle money and can also use some clothes and doesn't plan on getting anything and is also there as protection if needed although they will be in muggle London as the Leaky Cauldron and Diagon Alley is not that far away. Oxford street is normally a very busy street to Remus knowledge. That can both be a good thing but also a bad thing. A good thing is you can disappear but a bad thing as innocent can get hit if Death Eaters are among the muggles and recognize them but Remus highly doubt it.
9th January 1998, Gee's Court, Side street Oxford Street, London
Hermione feels lucky Penelope, Fay, Megan and Sally-Ann knew the street Gee's Court as it is a small side street off Oxford street not easy to see and not many people go in so in the worst case she needs to obliviate them. Hermione didn't want to if it isn't needed but she wouldn't have any other choice if they are seen apparating in or the elves. When she is sure nobody saw them and nobody is close she calls for Tolly, Dissey and Wissy to bring the others. There is a small entrance on Oxford street but most people that need to be here will walk around and enter from the other side.
Before Tolly, Dissey and Wissy pop out Tolly and Dissey offers to take the clothes they buy to the Manor and make sure they were folded and put the clothes in the right closet or trunk.
Hermione says "thank Tolly, Dissey and Wissy from bringing the others. Tolly and Dissey thank you very much if it gets too much to carry along we will call for you."
Tolly, Dissey and Wissy pop out.
Hermione says "before we go I am want to say we also need to get some clothes for Harry and Ginny. I know Ginny's measurements and if I understand Andi you have Harry's current and an idea after he is done with the potions?"
Andi nods but says "yes I have but I am not sure about the measurements after he is done with the potions as his magic can also add some more height or things to him as it was bound and isn't completely unbound yet. I have James measurements with me about the same age as Harry. I guess it will be around the same as Harry looks so much like James but again I don't know if the potions and magical power would change Harry much from James as James never had to use those potions or had his magic bound."
9th January 1998, Oxford Street, London, England
It is a Friday today and it is still very busy in the street not as much is school are free but still very busy enough to walk around without being too noticeable. Fortunately Isabel, Apolline (and Gabby), Narcissa, Bellatrix, Andi, Kingsley and Remus could use normal muggle clothes although most of it needed to be resized until they got their own muggle clothes what is one of the reasons they are here today.
9th January 1998, mall on Oxford Street, London, England
Hermione leads the group to a tall building that was even busier than the streets around it. When they walk in all the magical girls in the group including the half-bloods like Tracey look amazed with open mouths at the number of shops and how large some shops were.
It took almost 5 minutes before Hermione starts walking again as most of the girls and women were as she expects shocked. After five minutes all the girls and women shocked face turn into large smiles. That smile makes Remus and Bill feel dreadful while Kingsley although a bit amazed like the other magical doesn't know how happy he will be when the day is over.
Remus and Bill have already experienced how their wives can be and with the surprise and squeal from the girls they were thinking why they went along again and start to feel they are at hells gate.
Dora isn't here but Remus thinks 'if Dora is already like that how she was before being pregnant there is no way the girls are different. Well, some maybe are like Hermione but I am sure the others aren't like her. Hermione will maybe even get dragged into it before changing and turning into one of the girls enjoying shopping maybe even for Harry. Poor, poor cub or maybe I must say you lucky cub. I hope Harry knowns how lucky he is the girls didn't let him go.'
The last thought puts a smile on Remus's face while Bill put one of his hands before his eyes and shaking his head. He hopes that Apolline and Gabby aren't as bad as Fleur but doubt is. Also, Bill hopes with the war going on Fleur will at least not be as bad as she was before Tom was seen. He got a relationship in Harry's fifth year and he went along twice when she was shopping is was dreadful for him. He hopes so but as he needs clothes he had no other way than going with them as he also can't go to Diagon Alley as a Weasley not mention even being the primary heir. Bill also likes muggle clothes more as everyday wear then wizarding clothing. Remus also does like 'most' of the younger girls.
They went to the first store which was mostly clothing in the form of shirts, jeans, sweaters and everything in between. They didn't have dresses, skirts or other girls clothing. It isn't a store for only men but it was for clothes that most wear. It was the closest store. Some girls gave a small squeal when they saw the women clothes and immediately start looking for them and if they have their size.
It was almost a few minutes later when Hermione says "girls can we first let those that need clothes look through them. As Fay, Penelope, Katie, Bellatrix, Narcissa and Luna. I will look for Ginny as I know Harry will like to have Ginny have new clothes too. Katie, do you now Leanne's measurements?"
Katie says "not completely but I know she looks a bit like me why?"
Hermione gives a smile before she says "well when we find her I think she may need clothes so if you can buy things for her that she can find and if the worst comes of it Harry will certainly not mind if you bought a couple of things more for yourself."
Katie give a grave smile when Hermione mentions is the worst come of it but Katie smile became better with only the mention of Harry.
Hermione continues "so if we look here first why don't you go look for Harry and in the case of Isabel and mom for Jacob and daddy. Maybe you can help them."
The others agree and went to the man section were Remus, Bill and Kingsley were standing and looking. Hermione obviously meant them as they were looking almost ridiculous to some of the clothing. Here Daphne and Astoria take charge of Harry things while Isabel and Emma take charge of the men besides Bill as that is Fleur's …. job.
Hermione sees Daphne and Astoria racing through the rakes of clothing. She hears Astoria every time asking if Harry would like it while picturing if Harry will look good in it. Astoria asks herself but the others hear her but don't comment.
At the end of the search for Harry Astoria ask if Luna and Hermione can look through it as they know Harry best and will know what Harry might like from the clothes she and Daphne have picked out. Most girls pair up with their best friends to try on some clothing and talk.
After almost 30 minutes the men were done but the girls look nowhere near done. After an hour Narcissa decides to say "girls. I think we need to wrap up soon here as they don't have everything the girls need so we can continue to other stores I am sure Hermione thought of more right."
Hermione is one of the few girls that is already done and she nods at Narcissa's question. It still took another 15 minutes before the other girls are done and Narcissa paid for everything.
When the left the store Susan eagerly asks Hermione "where to now?"
Hermione says "we go up the escalator. You don't need to walk when you are using them."
Hermione walks to them but when they close to the escalator, the escalators stop working. Hermione says "never mind we need to walk up the escalator."
Hermione wonders why but when they are close to an electronic store all the electronics stop working and the closest and strongest ones broke. The muggles and Remus see the ones that are broke while the purebloods look confused. Hermione remembers that electronic device don't work near magic. When she was at home the first few years nothing much happened but the older she got the more the electronic device started to act weird. Sometimes she walked into a room and all electronic devices stopped working or broke. When she was nearing her majority she stayed away from all the electronics except the electricity as the cables run through the walls but that wasn't a problem. The electricity and the light did work but the other electronic devices acted weird around her, just stopped working or broke. Fortunately, she noticed it before the more expensive devices broke.
Hermione says "we need to stay away from stores like that."
Astoria says "ahh but they had moving pictures like us but with sound and more than just a few seconds replaying over and over again."
Hermione whispers but hard enough all the girls and adults hear but no one else "I will tell you at home what they are and why we don't go too close to those stores, all right?"
Most girls look curious and heavily nod while the restrained, guarded and strictly raised girls cautiously nod just like some adult-like Narcissa while Andi knows what it is and Bill heard his father talk about something like that thing once many years ago.
Remus knows what they are but he just wants to finish the shopping mostly because of the civil war. It wasn't uncommon that Death Eaters attack as big place with muggles even if they were gone within a few minutes in the last war but they didn't control the ministry. Now they can attack and probably can stay longer as they control also the Auror department.
In the first war, they only had moles especially in the Auror department and the Department of Magical Transportation, Floo Network Authority for if they attacked magical homes, but no control over them like they do now. The moles was one of the reasons their victims couldn't escape with mostly the worst consequences for the victims as the first thing they cast when attacking a magical home is anti-portkey wards and anti-apparition wards. The only portkeys that would work will be goblin portkeys as the can get through the wards.
Just when they were on the first floor a couple of girls squeal before almost running to a store. Hermione and Katie get dragged along by the girls. Kingsley says "I, Bill and Remus will go to that store and see you here."
Kingsley sees a store with mostly (adult) men clothes like suits and the like. Narcissa nods and gave him the bank card as she nods "I think you three will be earlier done than us."
Kingsley wants to say something but he saw the look from Andi and sees that Andi shake his head as she knows why to say that. Hermione sees Kingsley, Bill and Remus walk to that store and tries to get out of the store to get dragged back in.
Hermione says "let me go. I need to go to the store to find some suits for Harry."
Luna managed to get the paper with Harry's measurements out of Hermione's pocket. Andi sees that and says "Luna can you give me the paper I will look for Harry with Kingsley, Remus and Bill."
Fleur says "I will help you, Madam Black. I need to make sure Beel choose something good."
Hermione tries to refuse. She wants to look for some clothes here for her but also a bit for Harry as she wants to look good for him. However, how the girls act she knows they will be here a long time. This was one of the girliest stores she has ever been and she rarely went to this store unless in the summer before her fourth year for her dress for the Yule Ball and ordered something when she was invited to the Christmas party from the Slug Club with thanks to her mother. The clothes are mostly dresses, skirts, tops and tight shirts all to entice boys/ men and that was one of the reasons Hermione rarely went here.
She went there once more although she would never admit it. It was during Yule in the 5th year looking for some clothes to entice Harry when she knew for the second time she loved him.
She didn't buy anything before as it wasn't her and she was afraid if she wore some of the clothes Harry would not like it or worse. Also, she was afraid she would attract the wrong kind of attention like what almost happened to Katie, Fay and Penelope especially with Malfoy in thought and his goons. She even thought that if other boys show interest Harry would not stand in her way maybe because he thought she may be happy with it but she only ever wanted Harry to look at her like he looks at her how he does in the manor full of love and she swore sometimes with lust what make her blush but very happy that he sees her as a girl and a beautiful girl at that if the lust is any indication.
With the men, Fleur and Andi went to the store but before they reach the store Isabel joined them as she would try to find something for Jacob. Emma was right behind her as she will find something for Dan as their husband weren't with them but now their size.
The men look and get some advice from the women who were with them and nearly 45 minutes later they were done with many bags for the different men. Both Kingsley and Remus wear clothes they bought to try to stand out less than with their 'wizarding' clothes. Bill didn't need to change as he wore muggle clothes.
They managed to get some clothes for Mr. Lovegood, Mr. Fortescue and Mr. Ollivander. They didn't get many clothes for Mr. Lovegood and just a bit more for Mr. Ollivander as they will not be in the muggle world much and they wore mostly robes like most of the older generation does as Dumbledore did, most of the Professors and many from the Ministry especially if their job require it like Aurors and the likes. Mr. Lovegood has most of his clothes thanks to Dobby. Mr. Ollivander doesn't, they got him enough to wear for a little than a week but with the elves, it would be enough clothes.
The store mostly has suits but they also got jeans and shirts but it is a small section with mostly black and white shirts while the jeans were mostly black or blue so not much choice or variety not that the men mind but the women who were with them did and assured the men did wasn't the last store they go to with them. The store also has some button-down shirts also in black and white but also dark blue, dark/ burgundy red and a special green that looks a bit like Harry's eyes and was darker than the Slytherin green.
What makes them all think 'I should have stayed at the manor.'
It took only 15 minutes after the men were done for the first girl that leaves the girly store with a few bags. To nobody's surprise, it is Hermione as the first one to leave. A few minutes later the next one follows that is Katie what made surprise some as she needs a whole new wardrobe and still has easily double the amount of Hermione's bags. Over the next hour and a half everyone else including the women that helped the men came out and it almost looks like every girl and women got more bags that then girl or women before them.
If the men didn't move from the bench they were sitting on they would have almost been completely buried by all the bags. Remus and Kingsley levitate them to a hidden space Hermione knows about, with no cameras and when nobody was close they call for Tolly and Dissey. Within a minute they leave the covert place without any bags, ready to go to the next store.
The next store was a clothing store that has clothes for all of them. The girls and women went to the woman department and the men to the men department which was on the other side of the women department. This time Andi with Narcissa and Bellatrix went with the men to help them find clothing. To their surprise, they didn't need much guidance to get good looking clothing for them as they also have much more options and more in what they know would look good on them or at least think so. That is also the reason they mostly search clothing for Harry what surprisingly was mostly done by Bellatrix. Bellatrix hasn't told her sisters but some of her dreams start to contain Harry in a more prominent and less innocent role.
Narcissa knew that Bellatrix have adult dreams but she hasn't found about who but she as Andi when she told her to think it is most probably Harry as to how she acts especially anything that is somehow connected to Harry even if it is just to look at clothes for him. It seems Hermione managed to escape from the other girls as she joined the men, Andi, Narcissa and Bellatrix. She almost harshly asks "aren't you looking for Harry?'
Andi says "well we want to but then Bella said she will search. She has already chosen a lot of things we only need to see it if is Harry's size or expected size."
Hermione walks passed them. Andi and Narcissa are afraid of what will happen but Remus stops them from following when he says "let Hermione talk to her. She may not be happy but as Harry trust Bellatrix so would she also Astoria trust her. Knowing Hermione as much as I know although that is not very much it would not be too bad."
It took a few minutes with Bellatrix not looking happy until suddenly Bellatrix smiles and nods. She continues searching and to everyone's amazement, even Remus Hermione joins Bellatrix looking for clothes for Harry that will look good on him for himself but also as a powerful lord from a most ancient and most noble house that isn't against the muggle world what House Potter has shown many times. Hermione remembers that in every photo she has ever seen from Harry's parents from the very few she has seen as Harry only showed her a few photos in his important photobook his father also wore mostly muggle clothes.
It took 15 minutes before Parvati, Padma, Emma, Isabel and Alice go to the men section. Emma, Isabel and Alice to look for their husband while Parvati and Padma want to drag Hermione back if needed and will also ask Bellatrix to do come along. It took almost 10 more minutes before they managed to get Hermione with Bellatrix to the women section. Parvati and Padma also added some clothes for Harry as Hermione was adamant about not moving until they had found more clothes for Harry.
Andi and Narcissa follow Bellatrix, Hermione, Parvati and Padma to the women section. Narcissa is amazed even after the girly store she must admit that muggles are much more than Lucius believed or her upbringing thought her especially pertaining fashion with very much choice much more than the wizarding world. The school uniform without robes for Hogwarts it the only muggle clothing beside some dresses that is 'acceptable' in the wizarding world especially among purebloods.
As before the men were done earlier than the girls but when they left the store they were surprised to see a couple of girls talking with happy and large smiles talking with each other. It was all the muggleborns except Hermione and a couple of the half-bloods like Sally-Ann.
Only all the purebloods, Hermione and around half of the half-bloods were still inside the store. Remus walks in to give the bank card again back Narcissa that was searching for clothing for herself. She told when she entered the store to the clerk she would pay everything for her group so she pays at the end and therefore didn't need the bank card when the men needed it.
Inside the store, Hermione was the only one who is looking for a lot of clothes beside the girls who lost most if not all of their clothing. She didn't need much as she got all of her clothing even the one she thought she lost when they couldn't return to Grimmauld Place.
Hermione wasn't sure if she needed to look for Ginny, but she has the feeling Ginny while save is having a hard time. Hermione thinks Ginny will be at the manor shortly. Luna also had the feeling and said to Hermione that the Nargles (one of the few times she still talked about them) said that Ginny will come before the morning after the full moon.
Hermione has Ginny's measurements mostly because of the wedding, Mrs. Weasley gave her washed clothes and Hermione helped her with putting the clothes away except her undergarments but did manage to see the size of those that she needed that in this store. Hermione knows that the next store or the one after that she will need it even if she didn't want to she knows some girls will surely want to go to that kind of store as it has good quality although a bit expensive but, to be honest, sexy lingerie she had in her younger years been dreaming about of owning and wearing it for the love of her life, Harry.
Now she had the chance as she already has the love of her life but in her dreams, nobody was with her when she buys things and if there was someone it was only her mother while embarrassing she trusts her mother to help her choose although not too much because the store is very expensive, normally they went to a store a little further that also have good undergarments but not really what Hermione is looking for right now as that store has less sexy lingerie. That store is also less expensive. She needs to show Narcissa if they can go to this store or need to go to the less expensive one.
Later Ginny and Luna entered the dream when she understands they also love Harry like she does, but never with all the other girls. She can buy somethings but Hermione doesn't really know what or what Harry would like.
In her dreams she had 'talked' with Harry subtly Harry or any other men wouldn't find out at least at that age that she try to find his preference, the potions changed her interest from Harry to Ron and Ron never picked that up that she tried to find his preference.
She knows one thing for certain, she would be mercilessly teased as she never bought clothes to entice a boy except for the two nightdresses she never wore until a few days ago although you can also count the dress for the Yule Ball, however, that didn't was from the lingerie store she is planning to go to that is 'very' expensive and the dress wasn't for her date Viktor it was for Harry and according to Parvati she did capture Harry's attention a lot as long as he wasn't talking or dancing with Parvati and he could see her.
All this time Hermione was picking out clothes with sometimes Daphne or Astoria dragged her to something that they think will very good for her. She wasn't sure but was easily persuaded when they said Harry will like it on her too even though they couldn't know that for certain. Well, maybe Astoria can while Daphne may see what captured Harry's attention with what girls wore.
She may never admit it but Daphne observed Harry when she wasn't rebuffing any attempt of courting by any of the guys of Slytherin or from other houses. She was ecstatic when she learned about the marriage contract what only made her observe Harry more and have a small idea of what he likes. Astoria, on the other hand, can feel Harry and her sisters and do feel Harry's interest in some of the girl's clothes (not to wear but see girls in them) although now most wore thick clothing because it is winter although inside the manor it is comfortable like spring so it was a bit less clothing than somewhere else (including Hogwarts as they experienced the last couple of years).
It took another two hours before every girl was out of the store. Hermione saw it was already a little past lunchtime but asks if someone wants to have a late lunch that almost everybody agreed on. Hermione let them to the food court. The purebloods and the half-blood magical raised were amazed at all the different food they have never seen before. They ask all the muggleborns about what they call some foods and what it tastes like or what their favourite is and if they should take it too. The amazed girls said what they like and which of the food would come close so they (the purebloods) would enjoy the food.
Hermione, Katie, Fay, Penelope, Megan and Sally-Ann decide to order a couple of things from all the stores in the food court to let the purebloods and half-bloods magical raised experience all the food that they didn't have at Hogwarts. Lisa is also a half-blood and her parents tried to learn from both worlds. She was able to help the purebloods to choose what they would take.
Narcissa and Bellatrix were also very curious. After a few bites from different foods, they almost moan from delight and both were happy that they were still introduced to the muggle world. They both hope that the elves at Potter Manor can make it and were both very happy that Sirius still helped them even in death and would forever be grateful to him but also Harry as he could refuse what Sirius promised them but in that way they also need to thank Andi as he took them with them because of Sirius but also Andi asked him.
The Carrow twins always are against their family teaching (like Sirius despite they were still sorted into Slytherin) and that muggles are nothing more than animals. They were happy that they never followed their teaching or they would never have this very tasty food and would probably be on their back in Hogwarts to convince students to follow the Dark Lord even their real parents that are teaching have been hinting that it would be needed in the new year as some of the students who have a high position in the ministry (with a lot of money) may need some persuasion to follow their cause and that that the twins could help with that. It is one of the reasons they were happy they could escape and that Astoria still trusts them what made Harry maybe not like them what they want but at least tolerate them and not send them back to Hogwarts as long as Tom's control it.
After the late lunch Hermione let them to another story for both groups before going to the store she dreaded not because she didn't want to but more about how the girls will react certainly if she also bought somethings. She is also afraid if she buys things for the price and if she can't control her emotions and thoughts Harry will come here wand drawn as he is afraid something is happening to her and 'maybe' the others.
Hermione suddenly hears Luna. She sees Luna is not near her but she hears her like she is right next to her.
Luna says 'I am in your mind Hermione remember the soulbond thanks to Harry. Don't worry about Harry Hermione. He can charge in if he thinks any of us is in trouble even if it is not one of his wives or extended family but you don't need to worry. If you buy something in that store. I don't know why you are troubled. Everyone knows you are one of Harry's wife they may tease you but you don't have to hide why you buy something. Also, you like Katie, Susan, Astoria, Ginny when she arrives and I all can sleep with Harry while they can't. Some don't mind but the others that tease you, you can tease them back.'
Hermione is surprised this is the most logical thing Luna has ever said to her with not one mention of Nargles or some of the other creatures.
Luna thinks 'I already see the Wrackspurts leaving your brain. You had a large infestation although Harry mostly had more, he doesn't anymore after we had slept in his bed. I hope we can do that again tonight.'
Hermione looks at Luna. Luna that is many feet away shot Hermione a large smile before looking through the clothes with Su that was next to her. The clothes they look at are mostly blue that look like Ravenclaw blue in the form of shirts and sweaters.
Hermione giggles and thinks to herself 'of course, but she still talks less about those creatures.'
Hermione opens her mind to Luna and thinks 'maybe we should Luna, but first finish the shopping. After the ….. next shop we need to see if we need anything more before we decide to go back to the manor or not.'
Luna doesn't respond but again shot her a big smile and an enthusiastic nod before she got dragged out of Hermione's sight by Su to fit some clothing they picked out. It was almost one hour and a half later before most of the girls were done. Eventually, a couple of girls went into the store to drag some pureblood out as they still need to go to another store and maybe more.
Hermione says "girls we aren't done yet. There at least one more store we need to get too. It is for our …. undergarments."
What Hermione suspected happens. A little over half of the girls squeal and while some start whispering to each other. She can't hear everything but she is sure she can hear Harry and like but also see their mouth saying something like colour and lingerie like negligee and chemise before all the girls see her looking putting their hand in front of their mouth, not to stop talking but so Hermione can't see what they are talking about.
It took a few minutes before they reach the store. Remus sees a store with fashion with everything for men and says "we will go there to look for Harry and ourselves."
Andi says "I will come with you as I don't need new undergarments and I can play the mother so you don't have to look for undergarments that aren't your size to embarrass yourselves."
Bellatrix and Narcissa follow Andi and the men going to the other store. Fleur, Isabel and Emma follow to look for their husband om make sure their husband in Fleur's case don't choose something completely ghastly.
Hermione voluntarily walking into the store, but very slowly. She knows if she doesn't she will get dragged into the store again and to be honest with herself she would get something new to wear on her nights especially if she sleeps with Harry that night although the last night she wears her nightdress instead of the pyjama she normally wears especially in the winter although in the summer she normally wears a pyjama with short shorts, however, she knows that will probably change.
The store is very expensive, however, Narcissa told her when she saw the price before going to the other store for Harry that there is enough money to pick undergarments from here. The price is one of the reasons she rarely went here. The store is very large and within half an hour most of the girls are scattered around the store.
All the girls share a bare few have formed groups to walk through the store but still the groups were scattered only sees the other from their group you are with, not seeing anyone else. Most of the houses and/ or age stayed together. Hermione is one of the few who is looking by herself before taking a seat alone as she cannot choose and was thinking besides a nightdress what Harry also likes, but also if it was a smart move to bring the girls to this store especially as there are others nearby who don't have some of the clothes they have here.
Some of the clothes here are very daring, lewd and obscene. She is afraid that some of the girls will choose some of them as not all of those clothes are looking bad (in other words obscene and too lewd looking slutty, a scarlet woman wants to wear). The rest of the clothes are still sexy but not too obscene or lewd but still daring, but that excited her wearing that for Harry especially as Harry need to be more confident about what supposed to happen if they were daring clothes. Hermione even wants to go that far as to just tell Harry to touch her and 'teach' him but that has to wait a few days as she is having her period right now.
She thinks 'this is the best course of action for us but also Harry. Harry is still a red-blooded man so if he sees something hot like when he was with Luna and me he would get a reaction that we need to assure it perfectly normal and maybe even like it that we get such a reaction from him as he is attracted to us.'
Hermione hears 'yes Hermione I agree as does Katie, Luna and Astoria. I don't know Ginny well but I bet she does too. That is why I and Astoria need your help when we get back to tell Harry it is completely okay what happened as we don't mind and well we put his hand there.'
Hermione knows that it is Susan and decide that she is right. She sits looking at some racks close by to see anything she likes and if Harry would like it.
Hermione hears Luna saying 'Hermione look for yourself. Harry would like what you wear nonetheless although I think he likes it more if you wear nothing.'
Hermione looks scandalised, but as she doesn't see Luna she just look in the direction she feels Luna from although she is secretly thinking along the same lines, however, she will never admit it. She is thinking about it when Luna said it but she has thought about it a lot over the last two and a half years until the potions keyed into Ron. It makes Hermione blush after looking in Luna's direction as all the memories, dreams and hoping came back regarding Harry and that everything is now possible. She has some dreams were she happily shared Harry with Ginny or Luna and sometimes both. She never thought she would be happy but she is, now even those dreams can become reality and she wants that because of the love she felt between them.
She only hopes with the other girls that love Harry, his wives and future wives because of marriage contract will only add to the love and not add envy and jealousy. She would understand if it happens, but she must say that the last week and a half-surprised her about some of the girls and got to know some of her classmates, acquaintances and barely friends better. She will do everything to make it easier for Harry but also knows if envy and jealousy will appear only Harry, his power, his love and his authority can prevent or solve it.
Although she can see when the times for babies, wedding and things like that come there can be some envy or jealousy especially if one gets pregnant and someone else wants it to but isn't happening or takes a long time although according to Andi that change is very small with the urge also only that Harry can help solve that and therefore has the authority to stop the jealousy or envy.
They have been at the store for little over half an hour when she gets shaken out of her thoughts when she hears a voice she never hoped to hear again. It is someone from her childhood, the bully from her childhood years in primary school. She and her 'friends' or maybe better said her gang were some of the worst. Hermione's bully came from very rich parents. Her parents wanted their daughter to go to public primary school instead of private school as they taught it would be a good experience for her, but from day one she taught, she was better than everyone because she is rich. Hermione's parents aren't rich but well off and that was the reason that Hermione was one of her targets.
Hermione looks and at the sound of the voice and there she is with her gang. Her name is Catherine Richards and doesn't like her name to be shortened even less than Hermione although Hermione doesn't mind if Harry does it. She is even considering her (future) sister to allow it as Astoria allow all the other girls to shorten her name to Stori or even Tori not only Harry's (future) wives.
Catherine sees her and says "well, well, well if it isn't the know it all, beaver faced Granger. Finally back knowing in that so-called private school knew you are nothing special. What are you even doing here, this store is way too expensive for you. Oh, I know you are looking for something you never can buy isn't that pathetic, not that any boy ever want to see you in any of this. Hahaha."
While Catherine laughs her gang also did. Hermione always thought some of the gang was in it because they were afraid but now she sees all of her gang laughs because they find it funny not because they were afraid of being bullied if they didn't be part of her gang or laughs when Catherine laughs.
Catherine was an early bloomer by the time in the last year of primary school she already had small breasts. Catherine is very proud she was an early bloomer and that puberty had been very nice to her. Catherine is very proud of her larger than average breasts and certainly, the largest of her gang and also curves were it counted but to be honest all the girls from her gang have that.
Puberty has also been very nice to Hermione more than to Catherine. It looks like Catherine see that as Hermione see anger on Catherine's face and in her eyes. Hermione tries to remain calm which is hard until she focuses on Harry in her mind not enough to alarm Harry. Just the presence of Harry in her mind because of the soulbond and the love they have for each other keep her calm. It looks like Hermione ignores Catherine with a big smile on her face. The smile, however, is because she feels Harry nothing else.
Catherine thinks Hermione laugh at her and continues insulting Hermione, but Hermione just keeps focusing on Harry's presence. As none of the insult from Catherine work, Catherine insults her parents. That made Hermione mad but Catherine was still not happy with the reaction as it was far less and didn't make Hermione cry what Catherine was aiming for if not more.
Suddenly Catherine gets a creepy smile. Hermione would be afraid if she not has all the girls with her, Harry's presence in her mind and trust if needed Harry will save her.
Hermione after Luna's remark understand that if she focuses she can sense her 'sisters' but also Harry. She doesn't know if Harry can do the same but it wouldn't surprise her and the same goes for all of her (soulbond) 'sisters'.
Catherine thinks about a way to hurt Hermione and make her cry or worse. She wants Hermione to break especially as she is jealous that the bookworm had a very good puberty and grown quite a lot especially her breasts and arse. Catherine would never admit it but Hermione looks at least a good as her and that made her madder.
Catherine knows that insulting like in primary school isn't working not even insulting her family did. Catherine looks and acts like a slut with her rows of boyfriends, all that she had wrapped around her fingers. She hasn't slept with any meaning she is a virgin but is not totally inexperienced. She did enough to satisfy the guys and wrap them around her fingers so she could call on them for anything and they would do it. If they refused she would satisfy them one way or another and they would do what they first refused without question.
Catherine knows some guys would love to meet Hermione when they hear a voice. Susan appears out of one of the racks and says loudly "Hermione you must see this."
Susan stands in front of Hermione and lowers her voice. Catherine doesn't hear everything she hears " you ….…. great for ….. Harry. … drooling mess …. dies ….. spot."
When Susan is done talking she notice the other girls she hasn't notice when she went to talk with Hermione. Catherine immediately sees Susan's large breasts what make her even madder and was for the first time a little bit insecure about her breasts by just the sheer size of Susan's breasts. Susan has the large breasts of her year and since the fifth year, she had one of the large breasts from the whole school including the teachers. It would have been a problem if she didn't know or wasn't betrothed to Harry, but as she knew and she is she didn't need to see who liked her for her or for her breasts as she never went on a date to Hogsmeade or had a boyfriend.
When Daphne slowly walks to Hermione to show her something she wouldn't mind wearing if Harry likes it. She wants to ask Hermione if Harry may like it even though she isn't bonded she wants to ask Hermione if she could sleep at least in the same bed as Harry as if they are bonded or not they would be husband and wife. Astoria is pushing Daphne so it was also to shut her up, but if Daphne is honest with herself she is also jealous she didn't have a chance yet. Her mother had talked to her after she found out her youngest daughter slept in Harry's bed and asked Daphne how it was.
When Daphne admit she didn't do it yet her mother also started to push her. She was mortified when her father entered the room and hear them but he said she should even though she should wait until after her last year of school, as she couldn't go this year technically she would be out of school and if she gets pregnant soon she will birth children around September or October. Normally she will be out of school if the war didn't happen. In other words, her father and mother allow her to sleep with Harry and hope to get an heir for the Greengrass line soon. Her father made only one condition if she happens to get pregnant, the moment she knows she will tell them so they can have a marriage before she starts showing, as her father didn't want the child to be born out of wedlock even if they are magically married he still wants a traditional wedding before she starts showing.
Daphne sees the group of girls and doesn't trust them one bit especially as the first girl acted a bit like Malfoy like everyone is beneath her and aren't worth her time or even attention. She doesn't know if she talks like Malfoy but her attitude is already like Malfoy and the reason she will not like the girl especially if she talks to them.
Catherine gets even madder as Daphne's breasts are also bigger then hears and now she sees Hermione she thinks they are a bit larger than hers too. She thinks 'just three girls that won't be a problem I can have a group of seven guys here in 15 minutes I am sure. Give me half an hour at least ten guys I think. Some would love to show the bookworm her place and her friends need to know that too. I will not let them go.'
Catherine smile turns malicious and Daphne recognized it immediately. Malfoy had the same smile when he tried something malicious to anyone although mostly to the girls (in Slytherin mostly) and Harry. She knew that without using magic there is one way to get that girl to not do what she plans and that is if she hasn't got the majority of people. Daphne slowly walks back to gather most of the other girls and need Astoria to find Luna and Katie.
It took barely 10 minutes to gather the other girls. During those then minutes Catherine called the boys while the other girls kept their eye on Hermione and Susan while keeping an eye out for Daphne. Catherine decides to stop getting Hermione's attention but stayed in the store. When all the guys said they would come with a large smile she looks through some of the racks in the front waiting until the guys come. She is sure she could buy off the clerk at the register and any more that happens to see it. If the girls are subdued in the store outside wouldn't pose a problem.
When she turns around she is shocked. Hermione and Susan aren't only with the blonde she has seen, no. The blonde and redhaired some would call a sexual bombshell were accompanied by a group of girls most were very good looking if not sexual bombshells too. Accompanying the girls are few mothers it seems, this will pose a problem even though the guys can still capture most if not all, the mothers will pose a problem as they won't be subdued easily.
Catherine believes other 'lower than her' females can easily be subdued if not by force then by treating their daughters, young sons or mothers if daughters needed to be subdued. Certainly, it helped that she can make her treat more real but mothers have the intention to save their daughter by sacrificing their selves so that is not going to work now and that is not mentioning that they heavily outnumbered her and her gang now and when the boys are here they are evenly matched although she knows that the boys are stronger than them so when the boys arrive they have an advantage. At least she thinks so.
The youngest scares her a little as that girl have eyes that were glowing yellow as does her older sister but sometimes they showed a little blue it was almost. She is sure of it before the eyes turn completely yellow and glowing again. Her mother seems the same except for the glowing eyes but they are also yellow. The youngest one eyes glow the most, her sister just a little bit and their mother not but that doesn't make it less scary.
The boys arrive. Catherine whispers something and their smile rise. Hermione sees one of the boys she never liked and bullied her even worse than Catherine. The boy's name is Anthony Bishop, but she also sees Catherine's brother who is almost two years older than Catherine. His name is Bryce Richards. Hermione doesn't know why until she sees him quickly looking at a girl from Catherine's gang. If Hermione remembers that girl is Kylie Miles also from primary school and best friend of Catherine. At least she thinks so.
Hermione doesn't know and thinks about Daphne or one of the other Slytherin as they happen to see things others won't see. However, before Hermione can ask.
Astoria thinks 'that brother according to what you think likes that girl… Kylie Miles right behind that girl …. Catherine Richards, right?'
Hermione nod as Anthony gets a creepy smile and says "well, well, well Hermione bushy beaver-face Granger. It has been a while. I think I will like to get reacquainted."
The creepy smile would normally scare Hermione, but she has her friends and sister-wives. Remus, Kingsley, Bill, Andromeda, Narcissa and Bellatrix or close by as Fleur, her mother and Isabel had come to this story barely five minutes after they left and told her that Andi, Narcissa and Bellatrix help the men as they know what is good and what not so they left the men in their capable hands.
Anthony sees a couple of girls he would like to 'know'. Bryce seems more distracted by Kylie than being here to help Catherine. Anthony would like to learn Hermione her place, and some of the others like Luna, Susan and the Patil twins although he doesn't know their name. Anthony would like to do the same to Katie, Gabby and Fleur. The others he will leave to the other boys so they could get some fun too. Anthony was the boss of the boys as he got the furthers with Catherine and is the strongest and tallest of the boys.
The soul bonded feel Harry's anger rise and ready to come. Before Harry apparate, to them, Remus, Kingsley, Bill, Andi, Narcissa and Bellatrix walk passed Catherine's and Anthony's group and join the girls. Remus, Kingsley and Bill scare the boys as Remus the shortest of them is still a few inches taller than Anthony. Kingsley and Bill look intimidating and powerful feeling. Bellatrix sees them and when she sees Catherine look still focused on Hermione.
Bellatrix may not like Hermione yet she knows that she is important to her saviour and would do anything she could to keep her safe. The men joining their side made the boys reconsider and slowly start to leave the store. Seven of the ten boys leave or at least leave the store.
Anthony and Catherine don't leave. Anthony tries to show courage and try to make himself scarier than he really is. Anthony has his eyes only on Hermione for now taking several steps forward. Someone stands in front of Hermione and he looks at the face that makes him immediately took the steps back he stood forward. Remus stepped in front of Hermione and had his face with anger. His werewolf side wants to come out and ripe him apart for threatening his cub's mate. If you look in Remus's eyes you can also see the werewolf with killing intent and just seconds away from attacking.
Remus barely suppress his werewolf side to come out despite the full moon is still a few days away, but in the week leading up to the full moon, it is able to partly transform if you have control over your werewolf side although you can't infect people. Remus can't as know to the wizards there is only one werewolf who has that control over his werewolf side and that is Fenrir Greyback, the inner circle Death Eater and Alpha from the largest pack in Western Europe especially Great Britain certainly as he attacks in Great Britain now with Tom in power.
Remus has no pack and he managed to have his werewolf side see Dora as his only mate, her being able to keep up most of the time before her she became pregnant because of it and that helps the werewolf accept it. That is the reason he doesn't see the other girls/ women as his 'potential' mate. He has one cub at this moment and he will not let anyone hurt his cube's mate or in this case his cub's mates.
Remus almost growls while Kingsley chances his stands what make him intimidating and Bill give a look while gently touching the earring with a long tooth together with his scars looks also very intimidating. A muggle like Anthony can think that Bill fought a wild animal like a wolf and won while keeping one tooth as his trophy carrying it with him as an earring.
Narcissa was ready to use her wand as she knows Hermione is the main goal from that group and she has seen those looks before among the Death Eaters and when Lucius raped her to get her pregnant he has the same look as the boys in his face even the one that has moved to outside the story had those looks. The girls looks has she seen in Bellatrix eyes when she was under the control potion. She would do anything for this group especially Harry's wives as she owned him much and start to get motherly feelings for him how it should have been.
It is a very tense situation for 15 minutes. Some girls of the group are anxious but after 15 minutes all the boys with Anthony and Catherine and her gang leaves.
Kingsley says "we will wait outside and keep an eye on them if they keep hanging around."
Kingsley tries to keep his face like a professional Auror like his is on duty what is difficult as some girls have some lingerie in their hands and think 'Harry you lucky dog.'
Kingsley leaves and Remus immediately joins. Fleur whispers something to Bill that makes him have a large smile and walks to join Kingsley and Remus keeping an eye on the outside.
It took almost two hours before everyone is done. It was almost 5 pm. They walk to the same place as before to let the elves get their bags.
Hermione asks "Narcissa, I want to go to a store that is close by outside of the mall is there enough money left?"
Narcissa doesn't need to think as she knows that there is still a lot left. They could have bought three-quarters if not all of the expensive lingerie store before there was almost nothing left on the bank card. The girls and women didn't even get close. They bought 'a a lot' but there is still a lot left on the bank card.
Tolly and Dissey offer to take them all back to the Manor, but Hermione decline as she still has a store she wants to go to that is outside of the mall. It is a clothing store that she likes and a book store right next to it. Also, Remus gave Hermione a great idea for two books to give to Harry that could help him with the war and is something his parents and Sirius wanted to learn but never got to it but he knows some and help his at least with the basics.
Remus also says "those girls and boys are still around they keep their eyes on us probably seeing if we leave you alone, but we won't Hermione. You are a friend and very important to Harry. That goes for all of you just don't wander off, you are all important to Harry. I will admit his wives and future wives are very important but so are the others. If I lose one of you or one if hurt I would consider facing Tom one on one than to tell Harry that is lost one of you or that one of you is hurt. Harry will be much scarier than Tom if not stronger also. Harry cares about you all even if it is not love for everyone he will still be mad."
Most of the girls hope Remus is right as care for can change into love for and a couple of girls who aren't his wives hopes it will evolve in to love.
Hermione says "let's go."
9th January 1998, Oxford Street, London, England
They were back on Oxford Street. It was still a little busy as most stores are open a little bit longer on Thursday's and Friday's and today is Friday. They walk down the street when suddenly they hear a shout to the side.
They look and see a woman running towards them. They want to stun her but with the amount of muggle they can't unless it is a Death Eater. They can't see who it is but before they want to draw their wands and stun her she screams "Megan is that really you?"
When she close she says "thank Merlin it really is you. I was so worried. I tried to connect Gwenog as she was your guardian and advise her to not send you too Hogwarts but I couldn't connect her."
It is Hestia Jones, Megan's niece. Gwenog Jones is her oldest niece and therefore was Megan's guardian when she was younger. Gwenog Jones is 16 years older while Hestia is only 7 years older. Megan was raised by Gwenog parents until Gwenog had finished her NEWT and became a professional Quidditch player. Gwenog Jones parents died by a Death Eater attack in Daigon Alley. Gwenog Jones was barely 18 when she became Megan's guardian. She also became Hestia guardian's as Hestia's parents was one of the first victims and Megan parents were just a few months after she was born. With the money left by Hestia's and Megan's parents and the job of Gwenog as first string beater for the Holyhead Harpies, they had just enough to send them to school until Hestia became an Auror what saved a lot of money.
Hermione says to Remus "bring her to there."
Behind Hermione is a small alley. When they enter Hermione has her wand out and says angrily "Hestia what are you doing here. You were protecting Harry's relatives."
Hermione is angry at Hestia but is angry at Harry's relatives.
At the word Harry's relatives all his (future) wives including Narcissa and Andi become mad. All Harry's (future) wives and most of the girls that love Harry draw their wands almost growl as one "where are they?"
With all Harry's (future) wives and the girls that love him make all the girls draw their wand and even Remus has his wand in his hand but didn't show it like the girls have all wands draw in front of them.
The first one to come back to her sense is Luna. In her mind, she manages to get Hermione back to her sense although it also took 5 minutes. Hestia was afraid but it was clear everybody was waiting on Hermione's course of action as she is the first/ head wife. Hermione and Luna are the most important wife as it is clear Harry is warming up against the other wives and girls he still trusts Hermione and Luna the most. The only one he also trusts a lot of his wives is Ginny and she isn't here. The only one that gets close to them is Katie but she likes the other girls wait for Hermione.
Hermione slowly lowers her wand and says "well Hestia?"
Hestia is happy Hermione asks her in her normal voice and not filled with anger.
Hestia says "Harry's relatives are save, you don't have to worry. We know about you-know-who is in control of the wizarding world, fortunately, I know how to live in the muggle world as a half-blood. Dedalus Diggle however cannot. We haven't been able to contact anyone about the order. We didn't know if anyone survived after the attack on the wedding. The day after we got the last message about the attack and Harry thankfully safely got away with you Hermione and Ron."
Hermione got angry at Ron she still can't forgive him if ever. She got back to her sense immediately as she automatically raises her wand while Luna, Katie and Susan try to calm her down because they feel the anger in Hermione. They try to and is happy it works as they are also mad at Ron especially as Hermione accepts them to be with Harry.
Hestia continues when Hermione slowly lowers her wand again after a little under a minute.
Hestia says "Kingsley send the message and said that it will be the last message for a while. We got it by Sturgis Podmore we verified it to be him. Right, Kingsley?"
Kingsley nods and says "then it should mean that Sturgis should be with you and Dedalus with well you know….." Kingsley whispers "Harry's relatives."
Everybody hear him but he hopes that whispering Harry's relatives will not increase the girls who were slowly showing less anger. When the girls shift their eyes with anger towards him what for the first time in a very long time is afraid. The last time he was afraid was in the first wizarding war when he was in the fight when suddenly Voldemort showed up. Moody fought him then and was able to keep up even barely. When Voldemort that most of the Death Eaters were gone by emergency portkey's he used a lot of power to also escape with only a few Death Eaters behind were also half from escape the others were captured before the emergency portkey's could be activated and used.
Hestia nods and says "I think that this should also be seen as the security question you should have actually asked me."
Kingsley nods but asks "what are you doing here Hestia? I don't know where the safe house it but I do know it is not in London or even near here. Moody, before he died, did let me know it was not in London. I know it would be wise to do that, but Moody was paranoid. He would certainly never tell where it is but also not tell me where it isn't."
Hestia nods and says "you are right. Well after the attack and Sturgis joining us we went earlier went to the second safehouse than planned for the change someone was captured and knew where we were. Moody, may have told no one but the second safe house is only know to Dedalus and me. I am here as my job is done as I was assigned to do it until 31st December. That was also the day to go to the second safe house. Dedalus don't know if they move to another safe house as there is apparently another one that Moody set-up for the chance the first and second safehouse are compromised. He even made sure the last safehouse have supplies for 7 people for up to a year although I think he didn't take into account the amount the Dursley's eat every meal especially his uncle. Still, his cousin is losing weight what he wants."
As the plan was to regroup with the order but I didn't know where to find you, I thought you will not go to Diagon Alley and as most know the muggle world and this is one of the busiest muggle area in London. I thought this would be the best chance to see one of the order or at least sees wizards and witches that are not Death Eaters. I hoped to see someone of the order but seeing you all including Megan is even better. However, I see Hermione here where is Harry if Tonks and Sirius were right? Were they Remus?"
Remus gave a small smile and a nod. He says while keeping his wand in his hand "they were, but before I explain I still want to give you a security question."
Hestia says "I can understand. As most know Hermione and know that Megan is my niece. What is your question?"
Remus says "you mention Tonks and Sirius so my question is simple where was the Order of the Phoenix headquarters and why was it disliked."
Hestia smiles as she says "it was in London, Grimmauld Place 12 also know as Black House. It was from Sirius and now it should be Harry's as he is Lord Black. It was disliked because of the gloomy interior but that wasn't the worst. The worst is the portrait of Sirius mother that would scream about muggleborns, so-called blood traitors and half-breeds disgracing the house of Black. I hope I don't offend you Remus calling you a half-breed like she did or offend anyone else."
Remus says "I don't like it but no offence you just said what she said despite muggleborns. Before you ask Grimmauld Place is Harry's and the Fidelius Charm is broken otherwise you couldn't say it. It seems because Dumbledore died, the Fidelius lost its power and broke after a bit of time."
Hermione says "Hestia you can come with us we are almost done with shopping and then we go to a save place. Do you want to come?"
Hestia says "yes if we at least continue fighting You-Know-Who I can come already as I have everything I need in this bag it has an undetectable expansion charm."
Hermione says "of course we do. Harry is there and you know he would never stop until To….. You-know-who is gone."
Hestia smiles as that is one of the couples of things she will believe without reservation especially if Hermione says so knowing Harry as she still remembers the night he arrived at Grimmauld Place 12 wanting to fight and already be part of the Order.
Hermione says "come on, we better hurry I don't want to stay out any longer than necessary."
Hermione pocketed her wand just like the others and follow Hermione out of the small Alley.
