Korra receives a Vision from a Different and more powerful kind of Avatar telling her to find his son who has taken his place. As she travels to a larger part of the world she finds out this new Avatar has suffered a tragedy and lost his faith in humanity. Can she repair the damage and help him save humanity? Chapter 42 Ultimatum

"Let me get this straight. Zaheer wants to unleash the Primordial inside you?" Hudson asked.

"Exactly. Not just mine but every Primordial inside every Avatar of Old." Sean said.

"Thats something we can't allow." Adler said.

"Exactly. We all saw what the strongest did to Miraak and Vaatu last year and they fused together. Theres no way in hell we can let them out." Hudson said.

"My Great Grandfather had to have had a reason for sealing them inside the first generation since Zaheer sees it as an act that never should have happened to begin with." Sean said.

"More than likely wanted to make sure that power never fell into the wrong hands." Hudson said.

"I don't think so. There has to be more to it." Sean said.

"Lets just focus on finding Zaheer first." Tonraq said.

"He's already taken out the Earth Queen he could try the Fire nation next hence why Lord Zuko had to leave." Lin said.

"He had a chance to take out Raiko when he was in Republic City. But he didn't." Taylor said.

"That was a dumb thing to do." Sean said annoyed.

"Where else would he go?" Korra asked.

"He would want to do something that gets my attention." Sean said crossing his arms.

"Well, the only thing that comes to mind is attack the fire nation but that place is so heavily fortified I don't see them pulling it off." Ghost said.

"So what else would they do?" Griggs asked.

"We know." Mako said rushing to them with some people.

"How did you get away from Zaheer?" Sean asked.

"He used us to get close to the queen in exchange for taking you. That was before he killed her when he learned you escaped. We managed to get our family out of there though before it went up in flames." Mako said.

"So how did you get away?" Sean asked.

"He let us out to deliver a message." Bolin said.

"And whats that?" Gaz asked.

"Zaheer is heading to the northern Air Temple as we speak. He said he's gonna wipe out the new air nation and everyone in it, unless you turn yourself over to him." Mako said making Sean narrow his eyes.

"Son of a bitch is threatening innocent lives, just to get to me." Sean said pissed off.

"He could be bluffing." Tonraq said.

"He just took out the Earth Queen. Thats not someone who bluffs." Julia said.

"No he's an extremist who will do whatever it takes." Adler said.

"We have to warn Tenzin about this right away." Sean said.

"The Radio is damaged in the airship." Mako said.

"And ours jeeps don't transmit that far." Foley said.

"We'll have to head back to the Metal clan. Suyin will have one there. The Radio's in the Jeep can reach them so we can at least warn her." Sean said.

Using the airship they arrived back at the Metal clan before they landed and rushed to Suyin.

"Any luck getting through to Tenzin?" Korra asked.

"No one's answering. What if Zaheer is already up there? I should never let Opal go." Suyin said as Lin held her.

"It's going to be. okay, Su." Lin said.

"I hope so." Suyin said.

Sean was out in the Garden about to try to connect with his predecessors.

"What are you doing?" Korra asked holding Junior close.

"I'm gonna try and see if I can contact my great grandfather. If I can learn why he sealed the Primordials inside the first generation that now live in this generation...I may be able to convince Zaheer to give up his ambition." Sean said.

"I'm sure he had a good reason." Korra said as Sean concentrated.

Thats when he found himself in the Spirit world.

"This isn't where I needed to be." Sean said.

"No but I called you here."

Sean turned and saw his grandfather Paarthurnax Kruger.

"Paarthurnax? Why are you here?" Sean asked.

"You required information. I may have it and we haven't spoken in a while." Paarthurnax said smiling making Sean smile back.

"I need to know the real reason why Draco sealed the Primordials inside the Avatars of old." Sean said getting serious.

"Ah. You know about them. I often questioned my father why he did that was well. He never said why though but he told me it was never to take their power." Paarthurnax said.

"Then I need to ask him." Sean said.

"You regretfully can't. Your connection to us is not strong enough to talk to him...Not yet. Whatever reason he sealed them inside us...I know it wasn't selfish. My father was kind and compassionate to all and offered great wisdom. He believed leadership was the key to peace. I never understood why though. I used to believe spiritual enlightenment was the key until I learned my life span was shortened greatly. And when the time came to pick my successor I asked my children what they believed was the key to peace. Cinder believed that power was the key to peace. Malefor believed magic was the key. Ariac believed evolution was the key hence why his body was all machine when you faced him. And your father...Believed unity was the key. Hence why I chose him as my successor since I believed his way was the correct path and his siblings supported him fully." Paarthurnax said.

"And why was my generation selected at birth?" Sean asked.

"That I do not know. But in time the answer will come when you least expect it." Paarthurnax said.

Sean opened his eyes before seeing Korra rocking Junior who snored making her smile before Sean stood up.

"Get what you needed?" Korra asked.

"Not exactly. I don't have a strong enough connection to talk to Draco. I did have a nice talk with my grandfather though." Sean said making her smile before Mako rushed to them.

"Guys, We got through to the air temple." Mako said making them rush to the radio room seeing Bolin looking frustrated.

"Who is this?" Meelo said on the other end.

"I told you, it's Bolin!" Bolin said.

"Bolin's not here right now, can I take a message?"

"MEELO!" Sean roared making him yell in shock before falling down.

"Oh...Hi Sean." Meelo said sheepish.

"Buddy get your dad. We have an emergency!" Sean said.

"Ok." Meelo said rushing off.

"Come on. Come on." Korra said in concern.

"Hello, this is Tenzin." Tenzin said on the Radio making them sigh in relief.

"Tenzin, listen carefully. Zaheer is on his way to the temple. He's coming for the airbenders. You all need to get out of there right now." Sean said.

"Oh, no." Tenzin said.

"What is it?" Sean asked.

"It's too late." Tenzin said seeing Zaheer on an airship. "He's already here." Tenzin said.

"FUCK!" Sean yelled.

Meanwhile

Zaheer and the Red Lotus Had captured the Airbenders who were now sitting down.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet a true airbending master." Zaheer said to Tenzin.

"What is it you want from us?" Tenzin asked.

"Nothing at all. In fact, if everyone cooperates, you will all walk out of this situation unharmed." Zaheer said.

"I doubt that. What are you up to Zaheer? Why are you here?" Turok asked holding Jinora.

"I want your brother, and I'm tired of chasing him. So now he's gonna come to me." Zaheer said.

"I thought you were after Korra." Tenzin said.

"No. We were gonna use her as bait to draw out his father not knowing he was already dead 15 years ago." Zaheer said.

"You're using us as leverage?" Tenzin asked.

"Yes." Zaheer said as Tenzin stood up.

"I won't allow that." Tenzin said.

"Unfortunately, you don't have a choice." Zaheer said.

"Yes, I do." Tenzin said before airbending them into the walls. "Jinora, Get everyone out of here! Bumi, Kya, Turok, Help me hold them off!" Tenzin yelled before avoiding an explosion from P'li who was on an airship. "And stay out of here line of sight. Go. GO!" Tenzin yelled getting her to lead them away.

Turok growled before turning into a Rhino and charged at Zaheer who quickly dodged before he turned into a Large Bear and roared at him as he tried to slash him but he dodged once more before Turok turned human.

"So your the Avatar of Nature. Once I get done with your brother your next. The Primordials inside you all will be set free." Zaheer said making Turok growl before turning into a Cheetah and roared as he dashed at him.

Jinora led the new air-benders to the bison but got pinned down by P'li.

"We'll never get to them as long as she has a line of sight on us." Jinora said as Kai frowned.

Turok roared as he tried to slash Zaheer but he kept doging before Tenzin airbended him upwards.

"GET BACK HERE YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Turok roared as he turned into a hawk before flying after him and tried to slash him in the face but he used his staff to block most of his attacks before Turok turned into a Black Mamba snake and tried to bite him but he kept dodging.

"You have an impressive connection to nature. It comes from the Primordial inside you." Zaheer said.

"No my connection comes from my mother's side of the family. I rarely every use my Avatar powers." Turok said before turning into an Air Bison and tried to charge at him.

Kya was fighting against Ming-Hua and having difficulty since despite not having any actual arms she proved to be an expert waterbender before she sent a large flood at her making her yell as she went over the edge.

When Kya walked to it she noticed the water leaving before she came back up with extra arms.

"Ah shit." Kya said annoyed.

Turok roared as he turned into an ape before pounding his chest as he followed Zaheer upwards.

"This kid literally is an animal." Ghazan said about to Lava bend him when Bumi airbended him into a wall.

"Focus on me punk." Bumi said making him glare before trying to use lava bending on him but he dodged before dashing at him and held him down as he pulled his hair.

"HEY!" Ghazan yelled annoyed. (Seriously? He pulls his hair like a kid?)

Bumi then Bit him making him yell before throwing him into a wall.

"Ok now I'm pissed." Ghazan said.

The others were still pinned down by P'li.

"I can't wait any longer." Kai said grabbing a staff.

"Wait, what are you doing?" Jinora asked.

"Whatever I can." Kai said before running off. "Get to the Bison! Get out of here!" Kai said before flying up to P'li to distract her.

As the others ran to the Bison Kai airbended P'li making her miss her shot.

Growling in anger she used her combustion bending and hit him.

"KAI!" Jinora yelled as he went down before P'li scared off the Bison leaving them stranded.

Turok roared loudly as he and Zaheer fought up top before he turned into a Xenomorph and hissed at him.

"What in the hell?" Zaheer asked before Turok spat Acid at him but he dodged before seeing it hit the wall and melted. "Never seen an animal that can do this." Zaheer said.

"This is something made up." Turok said about to attack him again before P'li hit him in the back making him roar in pain as he dropped down before Zaheer airbended him into a wall.

"Nothing personal Turok. But you and the Other Avatars will free the Primordials inside all of you and restore the natural order." Zaheer said.

Tenzin himself was on his last legs as he was attacked from all sides.

"Give up. It's over." Zaheer said.

"As long as I'm breathing, it's not over." Tenzin said before trying to strike them again but they attacked him. "I don't know why Draco sealed the Primordials inside him and the other Avatars but I know this...There has to be a selfless reason that you do not know." Tenzin said.

"Selfless or not the Primordials need to be set free." Zaheer said before attacking him again.

Meanwhile

A large number of airships were heading to the Air temple to help Tenzin and the airbenders.

"We're not gonna make it in time to stop them." Sandman said.

"No. We won't. In which case we need a backup plan." Price said.

"Once we get there we'll just have to storm the temple and hope we can catch Zaheer off guard." Ghost said.

"Thats not gonna work. He might use them as hostages or living shields." Soap said.

"Theres only one way we can guarantee their safety. I have to surrender to him. It's the only way to insure no one gets harmed." Sean said.

"Come on! Theres gotta be something we can do without doing that bullshit!" Reznov said.

"There isn't. I'm not about to see innocent people and Tenzin's family get killed for my sake. It's the only way." Sean said heading to the Radio room.

"Will you talk some sense into him?" Reznov asked Korra who sighed.

"He's right. It's the only way." Korra said clutching the Sling she used to Carry Junior all the time. She had to leave him with Mako and Bolin's grandmother so she could come along.

Sean went to the Radio and grabbed it.

"Zaheer? I know your there." Sean said.

"I knew you would call back. So will you surrender yourself?" Zaheer asked.

"Yes. You release the airbenders, and then I'll turn myself over." Sean said.

"And take away the only leverage I have? No. I can't do that. Listen carefully. Here's what I want you to do." Zaheer said.

Bolin was pacing around like crazy.

"Will you sit down? I'm already tense enough as it is!" Mako said.

"I'm just worried about Opal. And Pabu's not here to comfort me." Bolin said before Sean came back out.

"Did you speak to Zaheer?" Tonraq asked.

"Yes. He told me to come to the top of Laghima's peak at noon...Alone. Once he has me, hell release the airbenders and my brother over to you at the temple." Sean said.

"I think I figured out a way to play this so the airbenders and Sean all come out in one piece." Suyin said.

"Go on." Price said.

"Zaheer doesn't know how many of us there are. So we have the numbers advantage. I say we split into two teams. Mako, Bolin, Asami and Reznov will take one airship up to the temple. Meanwhile the rest of us will get into position below Laghima's peak.

Soon they were under the mountain as Sean strapped a radio on him.

"The second you see those Airbdenders you contact us at once." Sean said to Reznov after handing him a radio.

"Kruger this is fucking stupid idea. Lets just call in the rest of the Avatars and win this in a heartbeat." Reznov said.

"We don't have that kind of time. Look I don't like this anymore than you do but I'm not gonna let these new airbenders die just to save my skin. I could never do that. And I certainly won't put Tenzin's family in danger." Sean said.

Reznov and his team left while Sean and the rest remained.

"All right lets get this done." Will said as they were about to climb.

"Tonraq. You might want to be careful around Zaheer. He's not exactly what you call fond of world leaders." Sean said making him smirk.

"I can handle him. Just stay focused on your mission." Tonraq said before he and the others started to climb.

"Sean?" Korra said getting his attention. "Promise me you'll be careful." Korra said making him smile before kissing her.

"Korra, Everything is gonna be just fine. Once this is over things will be back to normal." Sean said making her smile.

"I was thinking...Once this is over maybe we could move to the South for a while. This is a little bit more hectic than the war since this time it involves our family." Korra said making him smile.

"Whatever you want. And I'm sure Junior would love to spend more time with his grandparents for a while." Korra said making her smile before kissing him.

"I love you." Korra said pressing her forehead against his.

"I love you too." Sean said before she flew up to the others while Sean sighed as he used his chain to pull himself up to where Zaheer was waiting for him.

Meanwhile

Reznov's group arrived at the air temple seeing it in bad shape.

"Holy shit." Reznov said.

"Must have been some fight." Mako said.

"You guys see them yet?" Sean asked on the comms.

"Negative. We're just arriving. Do not turn yourself over until we get a visual on them." Reznov said.

Soon enough they landed before Ghazan approached them.

"This way." Ghazan said as Reznov had black lightning bounce off him.

"No tricks Mother fucker." Reznov said as they followed him.

Meanwhile

Sean flew to the peak before seeing Zaheer and P'li before he landed away from them.

"Drop your weapons and surrender yourself." Zaheer said.

"I'm not fucking stupid Zaheer. I'm not doing jackshit until I have conformation that Tenzin and the other airbenders are safe. Cross me and you'll fucking suffer." Sean said with white lightning bouncing off him as he glared at him.

"I can't blame you for that." Zaheer said.

At the Temple

Reznov and the others arrived in a room seeing Tenzin chained up and the other airbenders as well.

"They're here." Mako said.

"And my brother?" Sean asked.

"I don't see him." Asami said.

At the Peak

Sean frowned before pulling out his Star Saber.

"Where is my brother?" Sean asked.

"With us. One last bargaining chip. You can have the airbenders. Once you turn yourself over and come with us we'll let him go." Zaheer said making him glare. "Now remove your weapons." Zaheer said making him growl in anger before stabbing his sword down hard before taking out any other weapons on his person.

"I like to remind you I'm the definition of a living weapon." Sean said before P'li placed a seal on his neck making him growl.

"I know for a fact all Avatars have magical abilities and you have ones based on science. That seal deactivates all of them." Zaheer said.

"Fucking asshole." Sean said pissed off before P'li placed some restraints on him.

"Move!" P'li said pushing him forward.

"For the record I am going to kill you when this is over." Sean said making her grin.

"I very much doubt that." P'li said.

At the temple

"We have him." Zaheer said to Ghazan who nods before letting them rush to Tenzin seeing him gagged.

"Where is Turok?" Reznov asked before looking a the airbenders feeling something off before it was revealed the clothing was filled with water by Ming-Hua making him growl.

At the Peak.

"KRUGER! IT'S A TRAP! THE AIRBENDERS AREN'T HERE!" Reznov yelled on the comms making Sean widen his eyes.

"YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE WE HAD A DEAL!" Sean yelled.

"It doesn't matter now. Your not going anywhere." Zaheer said before Sean smirked before putting his fingers in his mouth and whistled.

(Insert Marathon from 300 Rise of an Empire soundtrack)

"NOW!" Joesph yelled as he and the other Avatars jumped before Kalder blasted the restraints off Sean before Sean punched P'li in the face making her grunt.

"Your outmatched and Out numbered!" Sean yelled.

"I don't think so." Zaheer said before multiple people came out and started using various bending skills at them all.

"SHIT! More Red Lotus members!" Fiore yelled before blasting two of them to dust.

Sean and Zaheer fought with the former using hand to hand combat before Tonraq arrived and cut the lines holding Zaheer's airship in place.

"Nowhere to run, Zaheer!" Tonraq yelled as he attacked him while Korra landed next to Sean.

"Get this seal off me!" Sean yelled as she took out a knife.

"This is gonna hurt." Korra said cutting it off making Sean growl before she cut it off as he healed instantly.

"Now I'm pissed!" Sean yelled as his metal claws came out before Charging at Zaheer with the intent to kill.

David roared as he blasted several members of the Red Lotus with yellow lightning before two more tried using fire bending on him but he shrugged it off before blasting them with the golden flames of Ra making them scream in pain.

Takina made a barrier of metal around her as multiple Fire benders tried to burn her but just super heated the metal before she wrapped it around them making them scream in agonizing pain as their skin melted off before crushing them inside the metal.

"Idiots." Takina said before Attacking more of them.

Kalder held his hands in the air as the sky turned dark before lightning began to strike around the area before hitting several Red Lotus members who screamed in pain as they died from the strikes.

Joesph fought against Earth benders but their elements just bounced off him while he charged at them before grabbing on by the throat before crushing it making him gasp in shock before he threw his dead body at another before stabbing the next in the eye.

Back at the temple

Reznov roared as he fought against Ghazan and Ming-Hua before blasting black lightning at them but he used earth bending to block it before Reznov breathed black fire at them as well but Ming-Hua blocked it.

"Your no match for me!" Reznov yelled before using Earth bending to try and bring the ceiling down on top of them but they dodged.

"Where are the airbenders?" Mako asked using his firebending to melt the chains.

"I don't know. Zaheer moved them out of the temple along with Turok." Tenzin said weakly. "Said after Sean's Primordial was extracted he was next. We have to find him." Tenzin said

Reznov roared blasting them with lightning but they dodged.

"Will you just bury them already?" Ming-Hua said to Ghazan.

"With pleasure." Ghazan said lavabending the place.

"Oh Fuck!" Reznov said before jumping away from the lava.

"We have to get back to the airship." Mako said.

"No good! Those fuckers blocked the exit." Reznov yelled.

"Where's Oogi?" Asami asked.

"Gone. They scared off the bison. But I think I know another way out. Bolin, Get us through that wall." Tenzin said getting him to earth bend the wall behind them as they rushed through. Reznov of course Earthbended the walls on the way forward to prevent the Lava from following them.

Outside Ghazan and Ming-Hua were on the airship before flying away as the whole place was coming down with Lava.

Entering the radio room they fond a door to the lower levels.

"GO!" Reznov yelled as they rushed through as Reznov used earth bending to bury the room to prevent the lava from following.

At the Peak

Woods fired on several Red Lotus members before one tried to jump on him.

"FUCK YOU!" Woods yelled shooting him in the face.

"On the right!" Mason yelled shooting several of them.

"HOW MANY OF THESE FUCKERS ARE THERE!" Rorke yelled slicing through several of them.

"Doesn't matter. We'll kill them all." Adler said.

Diaz roared as he used a minigun on a large number of them.

"Look at this waste of Ammo!" Diaz yelled.

Price jumped on one who tried to fight him off but he stabbed him several times.

"LOOK OUT!" Ghost yelled as one tried to launch large rocks at them.

"Take out those Earth benders or we won't be able to advance!" Hudson yelled before P'li started using her combustion bending on them.

"Someone take that bitch out!" Mason yelled hiding behind a rock.

"AH FUCK! Theres no way we'll be able to advance with her in the way!" Gaz yelled.

Sean in his Ghost Rider form roared as he tried to slash at Zaheer who was dodging his attacks with some difficulty before Sean head butted him hard making him yell in surprise feeling disoriented before Korra earth bended him in the chest making him grunt.

"Give up Zaheer. The best you can hope for is to spend the rest of your life in a cell!" Sean yelled as his back and mouth glowed before breathing blue fire at him but he dodged.

"I am never going back in that cell! I will free this world and the Primordials!" Zaheer yelled before airbending Tonraq Away.

"There is such a thing as too much freedom!" Sean yelled before slamming his foot down hard making the mountain crumble as several Red Lotus members fell to their deaths and screamed in horror.

Zaheer was quick to use airbending to bring some of them back up to continue the fight before Sean pulled his Star Saber back to him before stabbing it in the ground.

"HANG ON!" Sean yelled as the winds started to pick up as Korra held onto him.

"GET TO COVER!" Soap yelled as they hid behind the rocks as did Tonraq as the clouds began to swirl in the sky around Sean before slamming down hard creating a blast that killed most of the Red Lotus.

"Whoa." Korra said trembling at such power.

"Ugh!" Sean groaned in pain. "Ok...That took a lot out of me." Sean said before yelling in pain as P'li somehow survived and used her combustion bending on him to weaken him further.

"YOU BITCH!" Fiore yelled trying to blast her with light but she kept dodging before Noah tried to blast her with purple lightning.

Zaheer who flew back up after taking cover saw the devastation making him widen his eyes before seeing Sean vulnerable.

"This ends now!" Zaheer yelled rushing to him but Sean growled before his body glowed before vanishing.

Sean in his Godzilla form roared into the air before the spikes on his back glowed before trying to blast Zaheer.

"He can't keep that form up for long. He's injured and exhausted." Adler said.

"No shit!" Will yelled shooting the remaining Red Lotus members that survived the blast.

Sean roared at Zaheer as he flew around him before Sean tried to bite him.

"The battle spirit of your grandfather. Fitting you would be given such power. But like the Primordials they too will be set free." Zaheer said.

"Oh learn a new tune already you fucking broken record!" Sean yelled before trying to blast him again.

Mason tried to line up a shot to take out P'li but she kept blasting everyone.

"FUCK! I can't get a clean shot without her trying to take my head off!" Mason yelled.

"I got an idea." Lin said before Sean roared loudly as he nearly had Zaheer where he wanted him before roaring in pain as he turned human again clutching his chest in pain.

"Damnit! I'm at my limit here!" Sean yelled before Zaheer landed in front of him.

"Seems you're on your last legs." Zaheer said making him growl before Tonraq tried to attack him but he used airbending on him. "Say hello to the Earth queen and Unalaq for me." Zaheer said sending him over the edge.

"DAD!" Korra yelled in horror.

"Tonraq!" Sean yelled before growling in rage as he charged at Zaheer with his fists before delivering deadly blows to him making him grunt in pain as Sean roared in rage.

Korra quickly dove down to save him.

"What was that idea of yours?" Hudson asked Lin as they kept taking hits from P'li.

"If one of us can distract her long enough we can wrap Suyin's armor around her head when she tries to blast us and blow her head right off." Lin said.

"Sound plan! I'll get her attention!" Woods yelled rushing out. "OVER HERE YOU DUMB BITCH!" Woods yelled making her growl about to blast him had Suyin not wrapped her around around her head and.

BOOM!

Zaheer widened his eyes running to them.

"P'LI!" Zaheer yelled in horror seeing her headless body.

Sean panted as he glared at him.

"People like you lose everything when your cause is selfish and cruel. You know...People like you are the reason I lost faith in humanity for a long time before Korra came into my life...I will never lose my faith again. Not when I have something that keeps it there. And now without the woman you clearly love...Is your cause still worth it?" Sean asked before he turned and faced him with his eyes closed.

"Without question." Zaheer said before pulling something container out and smashed it down releasing a green mist before Zaheer airbended it into Sean's mouth making him gag before Sean coughed as he fell to his knees before passing out. Thats when Zaheer placed the same seal on his neck again and picked him up.

"HANDS IN THE AIR!" Foley yelled.

"Let go your earthly tether." Zaheer said.

"Let him go." Will said.

"Enter the void." Zaheer said.

"This is your last warning." Suyin said.

"Empty and become wind." Zaheer said before falling backwards.

"DAMNIT!" Hudson yelled rushing after him only to see Zaheer flying away.

"Did he just fly?" Lin asked in shock.

"What the fuck?" Griggs asked.

"This is not good." Adler said before they heard noises from the cliff side making them point their weapons before they saw Korra help her father up.

"Hang on." Price said pulling Tonraq up while Will pulled Korra up while one of Suyin's people came up who saved Tonraq from Death.

"Wait...Wheres Sean?" Korra asked not seeing him making them look away while Korra widened her eyes. "Oh, no." Korra said afraid for her husband's life.

"Relax we'll get him back." Gideon said.

"No shit." Woods said.

Back at the temple

"Ah we can't outrun this shit!" Reznov yelled as they tried to run away from the Lava.

"Through here!" Bolin said using earthbending to make a passage way to escape the lave but came to a cliff.

"Now what?" Mako asked as more Lava came at them before Bolin narrowed his eyes before yelling as he actually started lavabending shocking them all.

"Holy Fuck." Reznov said.

"So your not a metal bender but a lava bender. Nice job." Mako said before.

"Need a lift?"

Everyone turned and saw Kai on a young Bison he had befriended some time ago before Zaheer tried to capture Sean the first time at the Metal Clan.

"Kai? Your all right." Tenzin said relieved.

"More or less. Hop on." Kai said as they got on and flew to the others.

Tonraq was getting treated as by the person who saved him.

"I owe you my life. Thank you Captain." Tonraq said.

"You can call me Kuvira." Kuvira said. (Whoever would have guessed she would have been the next villain in the last season?)

"So Zaheer has Sean now and he plans to free the Primordial inside him. How does he plan to do that?" Will asked.

"He would need to know the spells that originally sealed them within the first generation. But those spells have been long lost since the first generation. So Zaheer must have an alternative method to force the Primordial out of him." Tenzin said.

"What would happen...If the Primordial was forced out of him?" Korra asked concerned.

"I'm afraid I don't know. Sean's Grandfather separated his battle spirit from himself in order to bring the current Avatar of Life to him if someone looking for Miraak like Unalaq did so I can only assume he would be fine since it seems to be the same concept." Tenzin said.

"We need to find him though." Mason said.

"I know where." Kai said getting their attention. "I followed them when they took the other Airbenders away. Theres a mountain not far from here." Kai said.

"Nice work kid." Adler said.

"All right everyone gear up. We're gonna head out and find him." Will said.

"Korra I promise everything is gonna work out fine." Tonraq said holding his daughter close as she letting a shuddering breath out.

"I hope so." Korra said worried for her husband.

Later

Sean groaned as he slowly began to wake up before seeing his arms and legs were chained up making him growl as he tried to use his powers but couldn't.

"Don't bother. Another seal is placed on you." Zaheer said with Ghazan and Ming-Hua next to him.

"Using a knock out gas was a cheep move." Sean said pissed off.

"If you had just surrendered like I asked..."

"FUCKING SPARE ME THE FUCKING BULLSHIT! You swore you would let the airbenders go If I surrendered myself but oh fucking wait...YOU DIDN'T!" Sean roared making him raise an eyebrow.

"Fair enough on that." Zaheer said not seeing a point in defending himself.

"What the fuck are you gonna do with me anyway?" Sean asked.

"We're gonna force it to leave your body." Zaheer said before a container appeared from a lower ranked member. "This is a combination of deadly poisons combined. When it enters your body the Primordial will have no choice but to leave your body. When it does it will finally be free after a million years of imprisonment." Zaheer said.

"Zaheer! You don't want to do this. Haven't you even considered maybe there was an important reason my Great Grandfather sealed the Primordials inside him and the first generation? That maybe something happened that gave them no choice?" Sean asked.

"Whatever reason is of no consequence. If something threatened to kill the Primordials they would have failed. Nothing is as powerful as they are." Zaheer said.

"You are one short sighted arrogant fool! You don't know what you're doing!" Sean yelled.

"Oh but I do. I already lost P'li because of our shared goal. I will not let her sacrifice be for nothing." Zaheer said.

Sean growled before Ming-Hua slowly water bent the poison to him which slowly began to enter his body since his jacket and shirt were off making Sean groan in discomfort.

"I will say you won't die from this. Once the Primordial is free we'll remove the poison. But you will no longer have your Avatar powers. But the age of the Avatars of old comes to an end today." Zaheer said.

"You have no idea what you are doing." Sean said groaning in pain as he tried to fight off the poison.

"Oh yes I do." Zaheer said.

Meanwhile

The last few remaining members of the Red Lotus stood guard over the Airbenders and Turok who had a seal on his neck to prevent him from using his powers of nature.

"ARGH!" Turok groaned in pain.

"You ok?" Jinora asked in concern.

"This seal is bugging me." Turok said.

Thats when gunshots when off killing the guards.

"Turok." Will said rushing to him.

"GET THIS FUCKING SEAL OFF MY NECK!" Turok yelled before he cut it off as he healed instantly.

"Sean is here somewhere. Zaheer is trying to set the Primordial inside him free." Will said.

"I think I know where." Turok said.

Sean continued to groan in pain as the poison was starting to affect him.

"Any time now the Primordial of Life will be set free." Zaheer said before Sean's eyes started to glow brightly.

"You fools have no idea what you have done." The Primordial said shocking them before Sean's body began to change before taking on the form of the Primordial of life and roared loudly at them. (A reminder its the blue eyes white dragon)

"I thought you said it would be set free!" Ming-Hua yelled in shock before it growled at her before it roared loudly at Zaheer who widened his eyes before its mouth started to glow before unleashing a powerful stream of white lightning into the air creating a hole.

"The Poison needs more time to work. I'll try to distract him!" Zaheer said flying away before Sean roared loudly as he followed him.

"What the hell?" Ghazan said before getting blasted by air making them turn and saw Korra glaring at them.

"Where is my husband?" Korra asked making Ming-Hua grin before attacking her but she blocked her attacks before earth bending her away.

Sean roared loudly as he followed Zaheer before his mouth started to glow before unleashing a powerful blast of power that decimated mountains shocking Zaheer.

"All we want is to set you free! You have the chance to escape your prison!" Zaheer yelled.

"You have no idea what you speak of!" The Primordial yelled in rage before trying to blast him again but he dodged.

Korra roared as she attacked Ghazan who tried to lava bend her but she dodged with ease before using airbending on him forcing him into a wall hard making him grunt in pain before Korra froze Ming-Hua's water arms much to her shock before she fire bended her face making her scream in pain.

"I'm not gonna ask again! Where's Sean!" Korra yelled as she airbended her in the air before slamming her into the walls making her cry out in pain.

Ghazan saw this and tried to lava bend her but yelled in pain as his leg was blown off by Mason.

"Heads up!" Mason yelled as they fired at Ming-Hua who dodged.

"I'M NOT GOING BACK TO PRISON! I'LL TAKE YOU ALL WITH ME!" Ghazan roared as he lava bended the whole place.

"OH SHIT!" Hudson yelled as they ran out the way.

Korra yelled as she forced Ming-Hua outside as Ghazan had killed himself.

"I won't ask again." Korra said glaring at her.

"Kruger...Turned into the Primordial or it took control...It went after Zaheer." Ming-Hua said.

"Thanks." Korra said turning to leave not seeing an ice blade behind her before.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Ming-Hua screamed in agonizing pain as she was electrocuted by black lightning from Reznov before she died.

"Didn't Kruger tell you never to turn your back unless your enemy is a corpse?" Reznov asked.

"I'm not in the mood for jokes." Korra said.

(Insert A Mass Awakening from Godzilla King of the Monsters)

Zaheer flew past one of the mountains before it blew up as Sean followed him before roaring loudly.

"We got eyes on him." Hudson said using the drone to follow him.

Sean roared loudly as he continued to follow Zaheer before his mouth glowed brightly before blasting the mountain next to him making it explode.

"AHH!" Zaheer yelled as he was hit from the debris before he landed on the mountain as Sean landed right in front of him and roared loudly into the air.

Zaheer widened his eyes before Sean's mouth started to glow brightly for another attack.

Only it suddenly stopped making him blink before Sean's body came out the front and landed on the ground as the Primordial roared.

"YES! It worked. Now your free to..." Zaheer tried to say before the Primordial began to crack apart as it roared loudly into the air before it exploded into nothing.

This made Zaheer widen his eyes in shock.

"No...NO!" Zaheer yelled before grabbing Sean. "WHAT DID YOU DO KRUGER!" Zaheer yelled pulling him up before noticing his arms were limp making him frown. "Kruger?" Zaheer asked as he put him down and placed his fingers on his neck checking for a pulse but found none making him widen his eyes.

"No, No, No! No this wasn't supposed to happen!" Zaheer yelled as he tried to use airbending to get air into his lungs.

"Zaheer!" Tonraq yelled launching Water at him before forcing him to the wall frozen as Tonraq rushed to Sean before seeing him limp making him widen his eyes. "Sean?" Tonraq said placing his fingers on his neck checking for a pulse but like Zaheer he found nothing making him widen his eyes. "No...WHAT DID YOU DO ZAHEER!" Tonraq roared.

"I...I don't know. He wasn't supposed to die. It was only supposed to separate them. Neither of them were meant to die." Zaheer said as Tenzin inspected Sean's body.

"From the looks of things...He died the second they were separated." Tenzin said.

"No...I don't understand. Why did the Primordial die like that! That wasn't supposed to happen!" Zaheer yelled.

Tonraq took a breath as he walked away.

"Oh no." Tonraq said holding his face knowing his daughter was gonna be devastated.

"Dad!" Korra yelled rushing to him making him close his eyes. "Wheres Sean?" Korra asked as he held his head down. "Dad? Whats wrong?" Korra asked as he held her.

"Korra...I am so sorry." Tonraq said making her frown before looking past him seeing Tenzin kneeling over Sean's body making her eyes widen in horror.

"No...No!" Korra said.

"He's gone." Tonraq said before she started sobbing loudly into his chest.

"NO!" Korra yelled into his chest.

(End Song)

"This is all your fault Zaheer." Tenzin said making her eyes shoot open seeing him stuck to the wall before she glared before rushing at him.

"KORRA WAIT!" Tonraq yelled rushing after her.

"YOU! YOU DID THIS! AND FOR WHAT! ALL ALONG YOU WERE GONNA KILL BOTH OF THEM!" Korra yelled.

"No I swear! I don't know what happened. Clearly Draco created a fail safe so that..."

"Incorrect." The Primordial of life in the small form of a ball of life.

"What? What do you mean?" Zaheer asked.

"You have your facts wrong Zaheer. I can explain little since time is short before my existence ends. Draco did not seal us within him and the first generation of Avatars. We sealed ourselves inside them."

This shocked Zaheer and the others.

"But...WHY! You are the very beings who forged the Earth! You deserve Freedom!" Zaheer yelled.

"Freedom is a Human Concept Draco created. You see...We were dying."

"Dying? From what?" Korra asked.

"From a great evil that was poisoning us from where we drew all our powers. In a few short years we would have ceased to exist. But Draco offered a solution. If we were sealed within human hosts we would live until whatever was poisoning us was destroyed. He did this to save us. A selfless act of kindness and compassion and to bring about our will of peace. Draco saved us Zaheer...And you thank him by killing his bloodline."

Zaheer had a look of horror on his face seeing everything he had done and everything he thought was a lie. He had destroyed the very thing he sought to free because he did not know the real truth.

"Please...You have to save him." Korra said holding her dead husband.

"I am truly sorry. My time is up and there nothing I can do." The Primordial said as she vanished.

Korra sobbed as she held Sean's face.

"I'm sorry Korra." Tonraq said holding her close as she cried into his chest.

"It's not fair!" Korra cried.

"I know. It's gonna be ok. I promise." Tonraq said holding her close as she cried her heart out.

A week later

Korra sat in a chair holding her son as they sat at Sean's funeral.

Most people gave a speech about him while she sat and listened to it all. There were some tearful ones from his brothers who couldn't finish theirs.

They were currently on the site where a statue for him would be built.

After everything that happened the White Lotus was disbanded since the world blamed them for what happened since not only did they lack proper skill unlike the Red Lotus but they didn't even attempt to help since they bickered amongst one another. Of course some tried to stop this but were put down by the Task force and the others were imprisoned.

After a few hours the Funeral was over before Korra just stood in front of her husband's grave as Junior began to whine a little.

"Shhh. It's gonna be ok sweetie." Korra said kissing his forehead before looking at Sean's grave again. "I promise I won't lose him. I won't lose anyone ever again. I promise Sean." Korra said as tears ran down her eyes.

Korra and everyone was on Air temple island to try and get their minds off of everything that happened.

"Are you gonna be ok?" Tenzin asked Korra who looked down.

"I don't know. All I have left is Junior. Now he has to grow up without his real father like Sean did. But I promise I won't lose him." Korra said holding her son close who slept in her arms.

"I know this will be difficult but understand we're all here for you." Tenzin said making her smile lightly.

"Thanks." Korra said before Raiko approached her with a Cyberntic Arm and Leg he had replaced after Sean slashed off the arm and destroyed the leg before they left.

"Avatar Korra I would like..." Raiko tried to say.

"Go...Away." Korra said glaring at him much to his shock. "You have always hated him since the day you two met. You only care about yourself. I know for a fact your glad he's gone." Korra said making him frown.

"Leave her alone." Reznov said getting next to her. "You've caused enough problems for her and her family." Reznov said.

"Now listen here. I am still the President of Republic City and will show me the respect I deserve." Raiko said glaring at her.

"You don't deserve respect. I wouldn't be surprised if you came her to get all the attention focused on you." Korra said making him growl.

"I've had enough of your attitude! All you and that pathetic Dead Husband of yours have done is cause me nothing but trouble! He got what he deserved. I want you out of my city!" Raiko said making everyone glare at him.

"Fine. I wasn't gonna stay anyway." Korra said glaring at him.

"And you can forget about keeping this!" Raiko yelled grabbing Junior making him cry.

"LET GO!" Korra yelled.

Will and Mitchell tackled Raiko down before they started to beat him.

"Shhh. It's gonna be ok sweetie." Korra said trying to calm her son down.

"You are not leaving with that thing! Chief Beifong I order you to take that child away!" Raiko roared.

"I'm not doing that. And good luck finding anyone who's gonna listen to you." Lin said glaring at him as did everyone else.

Joesph grabbed Raiko by his other arm and started squeeing painfully hard with a stone hand making Raiko groan in pain before he crushed his shoulder making Raiko roar in pain before Takina with a metal bladed arm cut off his other leg making him scream in pain.

"Crimes like yours are considered to be punished...Severally." Takina said growling at him with hatred making him sweat in fear.

After that Korra took Junior outside as she sat down as Junior whimpered.

"Shhhh. It's ok." Korra said calming him down as tears ran down her eyes. "I promise everything is gonna be ok. You won't lose me too. I promise." Korra said kissing his forehead as she held her son close.

With the greatest of losses comes the greatest of promises. For Korra she would get even stronger to protect what she loved most now.
