Chapter 42

Festival Fun and School Mysteries (Part 2)

AN: Here we are chapter 42, part two of three, now more on to the School Mysteries, the school is always crawling with yo-kai but now it is night time as well. Last time Nate and his friends were split up leaving only Nate and Lucas together and Lina and Zoey together somewhere else. How will these two deal groups of two deal with all the yo-kai here and will they find all their friends as well as each other? Well I will let you find out the answer to that. This chapter oddly enough gave me the most trouble of the three but it no surprise took me the most time to find out the smaller details of the plot. I even joined a new fandom while researching for this chapter, wonder who can guess which. Either way enjoy this chapter.

Disclaimer: Still don't own yo-kai watch. In actuality I don't own a bit more of this plot either I was inspired by something else.

"Where did they go!" Lucas said worried which did not look that worried compared to normal people but was the most worried Nate had ever seen the kid.

"I don't know, we just looked away and they vanished." said Nate.

"This has to be the work of a really powerful yo-kai nyan." said Jibanyan.

"No way yo-kai do strange things especially in the night but nothing this strange unless they are really powerful." said Whisper.

"Or there are a lot of them." said Lucas.

"That's right the school is crawling with yo-kai right so maybe they all did this." said Nate.

"Yeah like onye big pranyk." said Jibanyan.

"Okay then they must be somewhere around the school someplace, I hope they're all okay." said Lucas.

"Lina and Zoey are fine, they have their yo-kai friends, Espy and Toiletta will make sure they're safe. You know they can handle themselves." said Nate.

"Yeah but what about everyone else without a yo-kai watch?" said Lucas. Now that got everyone worried.

The school was crawling with all sorts of yo-kai. It was the most yo-kai Lina and Zoey had ever seen. Though it did explain to them why a lot of weird things happened at school. In most of the classrooms it looked like yo-kai were taking classes with one yo-kai teaching the others.

"Yup, that's a yo-kai classroom. I can read the minds of the students, it's like a regular classroom." said Espy.

"Oh yeah, we have classes here all the time. So high ranking yo-kai teach the lower ranking ones. It can be a real pain sometimes both other times it is very fun." said Toilletta.

"It is probably best we don't interrupt class so I'll make sure to see if there is any human thoughts in there or if there is too much yo-kai activity in one room or not." said Espy.

"I wonder why we ended up all the way up here on the third floor." said Lina.

"Yeah me too, it must have been a yo-kai right?" said Zoey.

"Well yeah but I think it was probably a couple different yo-kai." said Toiletta.

"Well I wonder where the others are?" asked Lina.

"They probably are somewhere around here." said Zoey.

"We better be careful the yo-kai stack desks in here to make things more like a labyrinth." said Toiletta, "They change it every time so I don't know where to go this time."

"I guess we are just going to have to wander around," said Zoey.

On the ground level of the school the two boys had the same idea wandering around the school with Jibanyan and Whisper by their side, Jibanyan ready to pounce on anything that came near them.

"I really hope everyone's okay." said Lucas.

"Me too, we better find them quickly." said Nate.

"Before a yo-kai does." said Whisper. Nate and Lucas tried the front door of the school but it was locked.

"Woah, what the nyancicles." said Jibanyan as they found their path blocked by a wall of desks.

"The Janitor has an odd way of arranging the desks during the summer." said Whisper.

"The Janitor doesn't stack the desks like this." said Nate.

"Must be the work of the yo-kai here." said Lucas, "Seems like something they would do."

"Really you two. How could this possibly be the work of a yo-kai." said Whisper.

"You can tell because there is yo-kai energy surrounding this thing." said Jibanyan.

"Well I guess we better go upstairs then." said Lucas.

"Maybe we can find our way around better up there." said Nate. Nate, Lucas, Jibanyan,

and Whisper went up the steps leading to the second floor where they were immediately met by a row of yo-kai that looked like their friends mainly Lina, Zoey, Katie, Eddie, Bear and oddly enough Hailey Anna the only way they knew they were yo-kai was because they seemed to be different shades of color. Lina was blue, Zoey purple, Katie pink, Eddie green, Bear orange, and Hailey yellow.

They all said in unison, "Hey guys." This startled both boys and the two yo-kai.

"Wait you're all here!" said Nate.

"Well that was quick, we found most of them." said Whisper.

"Um something seemys off nyan." said Jibanyan.

"Yeah I think these are all yo-kai." said Lucas. All at the same time they hit their heads with the back of their hands and stuck out their tongues with a wink making a silly face.

"Ha, I guess you caught us." they all said, "We're all Mimikin."

"Oh what are you doing posing as our friends?" asked Nate.

"Um wait, more importantly did you see where they were?" asked Lucas.

"Sorry no, we haven't actually seen them we're just mimicking them." said the Mimikin, "As for why we are mimicking them we are doing the Octet step though two of the mimikin are a bit late."

"Octet step?" Jibanyan inquiried.

"Why yes it is our special dance we do where we all dance in unison as a group of kids

in a marching dance it's what us mimikin do." They said.

"Can you guys stop talking altogether, it's sorta creepy nyan?" asked Jibanyan.

"Nyo we cannot." They all said in a voice that mimicked Jibanyan's before saying back

to normal, "I guess we can't do the march through because we are lacking two mimikin." all of them showed sad expressions of the two boys' friends.

Whisper then said, "ah maybe Nate and Lucas here might be able to sub for your two

missing dance members so you can complete your dance routine. They would be delighted to."

Nate said, "we would?"

The Mimikins said, "they would?! That would be great." The mimikin smiled just like the

two boys' friends.

Nate said, "wait, I never agreed to this. What would we even do."

Lucas said, "come on Nate it will be really quick beside maybe while we are dancing

with them we might find one of our friends."

Nate said, "Fine, we'll do it but how does this work, what are we supposed to do for this

Octet step?"

The Mimikin said, "Well it is really easy you just follow the leader's movements in perfect sync."

Lucas said, "Okay we'll have to learn the moves as we go then."

Whisper said, "This will be an easy enough dance."

Nate asked, "Okay but who is the leader?"

The mimikin said, "Well, we normally follow the lead of Red Mimikin but they're one of the two that's late. They normally take the form of you though so why don't you lead."

Nate was taken back by their request, "Wait you want me to lead the march."

Lucas said, "Yeah, Nate you'll do great."

Jibanyan said, "Yeah Nyate you are a great dancer."

Whisper said, "You already proved that tonight."

The mimikin said, "Please!"

Nate replied, "Fine." though he felt a sense of dread rise in his stomach.

Lina and Zoey with Espy and Toiletta in toe moved fairly easily across the third floor of the school despite the stacked desks luckily for them because of Espy and Toiletta's knowledge they fought only a few yo-kai who were no match for the two ghost hunters and their respective yo-kai partners who quickly dealt with any yo-kai that rushed over to them. Zoey and Lina would take a couple peeks into the yo-kai classes. Most of the time it was just a yo-kai they didn't know teaching a bunch of other smaller yo-kai that they recognized most of the students were fairly weak with a few rising about rank C so the two girls assumed that the teachers were C or higher and that they didn't need to fight any of that. The two girls watched in different classrooms how yo-kai learned to inspirit, how to hide themselves, how to fight, how yo-kai energy worked, and even a class about themselves sort of like what their partners told them. It was interesting to the two girls.

"Hey I think I sense a human in there." said Espy.

"In the library, oh no." said Toiletta.

"Oh no, why oh no?" asked Zoey.

"Don't you remember Zoey, the library holds one of the school's mysteries." said Lina.

"Yeah but why is that an oh no, that's what we're here to see." said Zoey.

"Yeah but the library holds a very dangerous set of yo-kai." said Toiletta.

"Hmm yes there is quite a bit of yo-kai activity in there you two should be prepared as well as you Toiletta if things get rough." said Espy. Each girl readed herself. Zoey slowly opened the door only to find something that blew her mind.

Zoey and Lina had done a lot of research on paranormal activity and had actually heard of the famous floating objects before and heard of mysterious libraries but they did not expect the library to actually have these levitating books. In the middle was Hailey Anne who seemed to be in a daze or trance, she was reading these flying books that seemed to come alive as she read them out loud and then disappeared as soon as she closed the book.

Zoey said, "What the heck."

Lina said, "quick Zoey let's see what yo-kai is causing this." Zoey and Lina shined the light of their yo-kai watches on the books and around Hailey Anne. Zoey and Lina saw all the books were being held up by butterflies and not just any butterflies Zoey and Lina recognized them as Enefly and Enerfly. They also saw a bigger butterfly in the middle that seemed to have black wings with yellow blended in. They also saw a human-like yo-kai sitting on a yellow cloud that seemed to be guiding the yo-kai along with the bigger butterfly yo-kai.

Toiletta said, "I know Espy is the one who can read minds but I will just tell you the answers to the questions you have in your head. The human-like yo-kai is Imagenius a yo-kai who makes people daydream but also is able to fill people with creativity if they relax, then we have Betterfly who can help people become better versions of themselves."

Espy said, "Way to take my line."

Toiletta shrugged at that and continued, "Together with the help of these enerfly and enefly they make up the mythical bookstacks. They legend states that the books here like this can help a person with any of their problems or figure out anything and the one that Betterfly holds with give the secret they need to have a good life."

Lina said, "So it's caused by all these yo-kai."

Zoey said, "Yeah that's pretty cool."

Espy said, "But it seems that Hailey is stuck here being hypnotised by all books she is reading."

Zoey said, "Then I guess it's time to fight some books."

Lina said, "Wait maybe we can just talk this out."

Zoey said, "Yeah I guess you're right."

Toiletta said, "I'll call them both down here. Hey Imagenious, Betterfly can you come over here for a second!"

Both yo-kai turned around and saw Toiletta and smiled, "Oh Toiletta your back." both yo-kai floated over to Toiletta.

Imagenious said, "It has been so long Toiletta."

Betterfly asked, "So what's up?"

Zoey butted in and asked, "can you please stop inspiriting our friend? We really need her so we can regroup with our friends and find some ghosts, urm well yo-kai."

Imagenious said, "Huh a human who can see yo-kai imagine that."

Betterfly said, "It looks like we are in the presents of not just one but two girls who can see us, very interesting but I am afraid we can't let your friend go yet she still wants to learn and better herself."

Imagenious said, "Yes why her head is filled with such creative ideas it is enough to fill this library and more."

Betterfly said, "Yes and we are letting her explore these ideas and apply these to her reality."

Toiletta said, "Yes these two strive to make people better."

Lina said, "It's hard to argue with that."

Zoey said, "But it just seems like you are helping her come up with ways you see all talk."

Espy said, "Yes you are just coming up with ideas you aren't actually doing anything."

Imagenious said, "But thoughts are the first step to great things."

Betterfly said, "Plus one must think before they act."

Zoey said, "Yeah but you can't just think. You'll waste all your time doing that."

Espy said, "You need a nice balance between thinking and acting."

Betterfly said, "But— "

Imagenious said, "Wait, I have done some thinking myself and what these two say is very true, life isn't all thinking, let's let her go live her life. We can spend our time helping others."

Lina said, "Thanks, you two."

Toiletta said, "Yeah I really thought things were going to get messy there at least you two know how to handle things well."

Betterfly said, "Why thank you, it was nice seeing you back Toiletta."

Imagenious said, "Here take our medals." Imagenious tossed two sets of medals to the girls.

Betterfly said, "Here is your friend I hope she uses that creative mind for something amazing."

Hailey snapped out of her daze and then looked at the two girls, "Oh hey Lina and Zoey, how did I get over here in the library?"

Lina said, "Not that sure but we are all going to head up to the roof soon."

Zoey said, "Yeah if we're late we'll miss the fireworks."

Hailey said, "Ohhh! The fireworks, I better get going then see you guys up there." Hailey then ran out of the library and made her way to the roof.

Zoey said, "I guess that means we solved the mystery of the library's ghosts."

Lina said, " That's one down six to go."

Toiletta said, "you mean five to go."

Lina said, "Oh right I wonder if everyone else is doing as well as we are."

Zoey said, "It's Nate and Lucas out there together or apart they are still stronger than us and have more experience with yo-kai than us."

Toiletta said, "Don't sell yourselves short you guys are catching up to them quickly."

Espy said, "You'll be as good as them in no time just look at what you did here."

Zoey said, "In any case we better keep going. We still need to find everyone."

Lina said, "You're right let's go."

Nate and Lucas finally finished dancing with the mimikin after their two other mimikin friends appeared and took the form of Nate and Lucas respectively. Apparently they got lost in the school. Nate, Lucas, and the mimikin actually had a lot of fun so the mimikin invited Nate and Lucas to join them again sometime. Then Nate and Lucas made their way to the science room in the school with Whisper and Jibanyan following close behind.

"Nyate my feline instincts are telling me that there is something in this room." said Jibanyan.

Whisper said, "Instincts, why that's absurd, why my logic and reasoning questions your instincts."

Lucas said, "Isn't that Bear in there."

Nate said, "yeah that's Bear."

Jibanyan smirked and said, "What was that Whisper." Whisper crossed his arms and tried to come up with a rebuttal but failed.

Nate, Lucas, Whisper, and Jibanyan entered the science room only to be locked inside.

Nate said, "What was that all about, the doors just locked."

Lucas said, "That is classic yo-kai behavior."

Whisper said, "Hey what is Bear doing trapped in that box."

Jibanyan said, "yeah that's odd."

Lucas said, "I think he's in a bit of trouble." Nate then searched around with his watch to find a yo-kai that looked like Rattelle but had pink hair and wore a yellow and black dress.

The skeleton yo-kai said, "Not yet he's not but he called my beautiful bone structure hideous and that is unforgivable. So I trapped him in here so he can rot so we can see how good his bone structure is."

Nate asked, "Whisper who is this yo-kai?"

Whisper said, "This is Skelebella she is like Rattelle in many ways but in addition to making whoever she inspirits fashionable she also makes them kind."

Lucas said, "That's good but why did she trap Bear that's not kind."

Skelebella said, "Well this boy here wasn't kind to me so I trapped him in there."

Nate said, "I am sorry for the way my friend acted and what he said but I don't think that gives you the right to trap him in that box."

Skelebella said, "Well, no one asked you!" with a very angry face, "He deeply wounded me over the years with his mockery, words hurt deeply you know." her face of rage turning to one of sorrow.

Nate, Lucas, and Jibanyan's faces all turned sad as well, "Yes we know."

Skelebella said, "So he must pay." her face and emotions exploding with rage again as she pointed her umbrella at Bear.

Whisper said, "Well we tried negotiation now we must go to confrontation."

Nate said, "Wait."

Lucas said, "There must be a peaceful way to resolve this."

Nate argued, "My friend Bear is an incredibly nice guy but sometimes he says things he doesn't mean or he doesn't really know what he's saying. He's hurt me and my friends a lot of times with his words but really he is a nice guy."

Lucas said, "Yes when it really matters he really is a kind kid everyone has their flaws but sometimes you just need to forgive them."

Skelebella's face calmed down but faded back to sadness, "I know it's just at least with you guys you can tell him to stop. But for me, I am just an inanimate object to him. I can't tell him to stop."

Nate said, "What if we told him to stop for you."

Lucas said, "Yeah, we can tell him for you."

Skelebella said, "Really you would do that for me, Oh I feel so happy. Thank you. You two are very sweet." Skelebella glowed blue and out came two of her medals, "Here you go he is free now." Skelebella disappeared in a puff of smoke, the doors unlocked and Bear fell out of the box he was trapped in.

Bear gasped for air, "Woah, guys you'll never believe the dream I just had, wait how did I get in here."

Nate said, "don't worry about it you should find your way up to the roof."

Bear said, "Oh right the fireworks, see you guys up there."

Lucas asked, "Shouldn't we have asked him help?"

Jibanyan said, "Yeah we need all the help we can get finding your friends."

Whisper said, "No, I think I get it, Nate didn't want to put Bear getting in the way of our own search for everyone."

Nate said, "No, I want Bear to be safe, we already have enough to worry about with all the yo-kai lurking around here, he was already trapped in a box."

Whisper asked, "Then was it a good idea to let him run off on his own."

Nate said, "At least we know he'll be going up and we can help him again if something happens to him up there. Who knows maybe the Mimikin will help him."

Lina and Zoey with the help of Espy and Toiletta found their way to the music room where they found two boys. Eddie who was sitting in a chair looking bored and Kenny who was sitting in a corner frightened.

Eddie saw the two girls walk in and said, "Hey Lina, Zoey there you two are."

Zoey said, "Glad to see you were looking for us." sarcastically.

Eddie said, "I was waiting in here to rub this evidence in your face."

Zoey asked, "What did you find anything?"

Eddie said, "No and that's the point."

Lina said, "But what about the self-playing piano and the moving portraits."

Zoey said, "Maybe you weren't looking hard enough."

Eddie said, "No way I checked around the piano and so far it is only making horrible noises which I think are triggered by a busted up machine in the piano."

Lina asked, "What's up with Kenny?"

Eddie said, "Oh him, he claimed to have seen one of the portraits move but I didn't see it, I inspected those portraits but they didn't move an inch."

Kenny said, "But they did, they were creepy, they kept making these faces at me." Eddie shrugged.

Lina whisper to Toiletta, "who are the yo-kai causing these myths?"

Toiletta said, "Well the piano is just a Cupistol practicing his piano skills and the portraits are the work of the prankster Alloo, a skilled illusionist."

Zoey said, "Let's check this out." as she scanned around until she found Cupistol with her watch.

Lina said, "There he is."

Zoey asked, "Hey Cupistol why aren't you playing the piano? We want you to scare our friend."

Cupistol said, "I would love to scare this heartless critic but anytime I do play he just thinks it's garbage. I wish I could show this insolent child the work of a true artist but I can't play without my music."

Zoey said, "Okay Lina, let's get this guy some music so he can scare the shorts off of Eddie."

Cupistol said, "Oh why thank you I left my newest pieces in the library."

Espy said, "I guess it's another trip to the library."

Toiletta said, "Yup." So the two girls and two yo-kai walked out to head to the library.

Around the same time Nate and Lucas as well as Jibanyan and Whisper made it up to the third floor where they found their way to the music room.

Eddie said, "Hey it's you guys too."

Nate asked, "What do you mean too."

Eddie said, "You just missed Lina and Zoey; they went off to the library to grab some sheet music."

Whisper said, "Watch out Nate and Lucas there is a Cupistol in this room." Nate immediately readed his watch to summon Casanono just in case he had to.

Lucas said, "Wait, Nate, don't worry the same thing won't happen again Casanuva is gone most Cupistols are okay."

The Cupistol said, "Yeah I wasn't even with that Casanuva I just want to learn piano, your friends are bringing me sheet music to help me out."

Nate said, "Okay then, um Eddie what's up with Kenny."

Eddie said, "Oh him, he's just scared about the moving portraits that don't exist."

Kenny said, "But the eyes keep following me."

Lucas said, "I think there is a second yo-kai at work here."

Jibanyan said, "Me too. Someone else is in here nyan." Nate scanned around until his watch revealed Alloo.

Nate said, "Illoo?"

Whisper said, "No that is Alloo, Illoo's brother."

Lucas asked, "Hey Alloo why are you messing with our friend here."

Alloo laughed and said, "because it is fun my boy, I just love messing around with kids."

Nate asked, "Can you stop please, you are really scaring him."

Alloo laughed again and said, "Yes I know it's hilarious though that one over there is such a buzzkill. He lacks a good imagination."

Nate said, "But can you please stop."

Alloo said, "fine you two are buzzkills too you know."

Lucas said, "Well that was easy."

Alloo said, "I may be a prankster but I know when to stop I heard you were able to beat my brother. Here take my medal." Alloo then gave Nate his medal.

Nate said, "Thank you very much Alloo we really appreciate it."

Lucas said, "Now all we need to do is wait for Lina and Zoey to get back with that music."

Zoey and Lina with Espy and Toiletta came back into the music room and saw Nate, Lucas, Jibanyan, and Whisper.

Lina said, "Lucas, Nate there you are we were wondering where you were."

Zoey said, "We knew you would be okay."

Toiletta said, "It looks like you two already dealt with one of the mysteries of the school."

Espy said, "actually they already dealt with two of the seven plus some mimikin."

Zoey said, "Wow you guys got to see another school mystery."

Nate said, "Yeah the one in the science room about the skeleton."

Lucas said, "Skelebella tried to hurt Bear."

Lina said, "That's cool we helped Hailey escape the library."

Toiletta said, "That means we have seen five of the seven mysteries now."

Whisper said, "I think your math is off if you girls have seen the piano and the library, and we have seen the skeleton and the portraits then we have only seen four."

Jibanyan said, "Nyo, she is right because Toiletta is a mystery you dummy."

Toiletta said, "See he gets it."

Lina said, "Here is your music Cupistol."

Zoey said, "Now you can scare the socks off of Eddie."

Cupistol said, "Yes now I can wow critics and ladies alike." Cupistol stretched his fingers and then started playing a sweet familiar melody. Lucas, Lina, Nate, Zoey, Eddie, Whisper, Jibanyan, Espy, and Toiletta all clapped for the yo-kai's great performance.

Eddie said, "Huh must have just been jammed or something come on Kenny let's head up to the roof."

Kenny said, "Finally we can get out of this place."

Alloo came to Cupistol and said, "Hmm, that was some fine playing young man but maybe you can let me teach you a few tricks."

Cupistol said, "No way old man I got this down."

Alloo said, "Sure you are good but let me show you how it is done." Alloo then played an even longer and intricate song on the piano that wowed Nate, Whisper, Jibanyan, Lucas, Lina, Zoey, Espy, and Cupistol.

Toiletta said, "I would listen to him. He was the piano player before you."

Alloo said, "Yes, I may be a master of illusions but first I was a master of music."

Cupistol said, "You must teach me you ways."

Nate said, "I guess we got that over with."

Lucas said, "Hey maybe we can get down this side from here."

Lina said, "Yes we still need to find the other two mysteries."

Nate said, "And our other three friends."

Zoey said, "Yeah and them too."

The four kids and the four yo-kai continued to head downstairs until they found the storage room.

Espy said, "Hmm, I think there is someone in there."

Nate said, "That's good."

Whisper said, "Yes it is as long as no one somehow snuck upstairs without us knowing that means everyone else is downstairs."

Jibanyan said, "And they are only in the west part of the first floor."

Lina said, "Yes and I think this is one of the mysteries."

Zoey said, "Yeah I think this is the one with the mirrors."

Toiletta said, "I was afraid of that, this one is the most dangerous mystery. When someone enters they may never come out."

Lucas asked, "What's in it?"

Toiletta explained, "Well inside at night there is a hall of mirrors that can span indefinitely and sometimes even change the terrain into something seemingly different. It is like its own little world and it can even hold your greatest fear if you find the wrong mirror."

Nate asked, "Which yo-kai could do that?!"

Whisper said, "I don't know, I don't think we have encountered any yo-kai who can do that."

Lucas said, "sounds like the work of some Mirapo but they like helping humans why would they do that."

Lina said, "Well one of our friends is in there we need to find them before they get lost."

Zoey said, "Yes, come on let's go."

Toiletta said, "I was afraid you would say that."

Espy said, "I don't think my mind reading abilities will be able to do much in there."

Jibanyan said, "We'll be fine."

So Toiletta opened the door and they all went in. At first when they all entered the room was completely dark even the cold silver moonlight from the window had a hard time getting past the doorway almost like it was afraid. Of course not to their surprise the door closed behind them and suddenly lights flickered on and they were not in a storage room rather they were now in a maze of mirrors.

Jibanyan said, "Wow this place is creepy."

Toiletta said, "Everyone stay close. It is really easy to get lost in here."

Whisper said, "My yo-kai pad doesn't get reception here. It doesn't get reception here!"

Espy said, "My powers seem to be nullified as well."

Lucas said, "We better find whoever is in here quickly."

Lina said, "This is so surreal."

Zoey said, "Yeah it's like its own little world."

Nate said, "It's a bit creepy but a little cool."

They walked around for a bit. They were lucky that they had each other, there were many temptations to get them lost forever, scary stuff that tried to hurt them, and even some puzzles that they couldn't solve alone. They learned a bit about each other in the process as they walked through the labyrinth. Until they found Alex wandering the halls of the place.

"There she is," said Lina.

"Alex!" Nate called as they ran up to her.

Alex turned around and said, "Oh hey guys this is one weird place right."

Lucas said, "It is a good thing we found you now we only need to get out of here."

Alex said, "Oh right, we don't want to miss the fireworks."

Zoey said, "Only one problem we don't know how to get out of this place."

Espy said, "And I can't even locate any yo-kai in here much less where in their mind an exit might be."

Whisper said, "The GPS on my yo-kai pad is not functioning."

Toiletta said, "Don't look at me I rarely came in here."

Jibanyan yelled, "URRRR I am so done with this place!" Jibanyan became surrounded by a blue aura and shouted, "Paws of Fury." Jibanyan then punched and shattered every single mirror around them. It was an explosion of glass, everything seemed to transform back into a dark storage room.

Whisper said, "Jibanyan why would you do that now you'll have seven years of bad luck."

Toiletta said, "Woah someone overreacted."

Espy said, "That's true but I am glad it worked."

Nate said, "Nice job Jibanyan."

Alex said, "That was weird it just broke."

A voice then said, "Urr why did you do that." Nate, Lina, Zoey, Lucas, Espy, Toiletta, Jibanyan, and Whisper saw a yo-kai that looked like Mirapo but it had a black frame and a pale glass.

Nate asked, "Whisper who is this yo-kai?"

Whisper said, "This is Mircle he is a yo-kai like Mirapo but he uses the mirror world for evil. He transports and deals with evil and bad yo-kai."

Zoey said, "I see your yo-kai pad is back to normal too."

Whisper said, "Well yes but that is not the point. I actually knew that."

Jibanyan said, "Sure…"

Mircle said, "Really you're just going to ignore me, well I won't stand for this." The mirror yo-kai was very angry and called up some of his evil friends. Out came three pegasus yo-kai, one black with red wings, and two yellow with white wings as well as two Moskevils.

Lina asked "who are those yo-kai?"

Whisper answered, "Well the two mosiqiuto like yo-kai are Moskevil they make people feel negative and the yellow pegasus are Negasus they cause and make people troublesome. The black pegasus is Neighfarious little known about him or have even seen him but it is known that there are not many good stories about him from the people who have seen him."

Lucas said, "These are all really powerful yo-kai."

Jibanyan said, "We can take 'em."

Toiletta said, "agreed."

Espy said, "I can be of assistance as well."

Lucas said, "I'll call in some help to even the odds. Calling grand spirit, with the power embedded in this watch I call upon thee."

Lucas called a yo-kai that looked like a devil; it even wielded a pitchfork.

It said, "Oh hello, I see you are dealing with a Mircle. I guess I can spare some time to cause these troublemakers some trouble."

Lucas said, "Thanks Beelzebold."

Mircle said, "Urr everyone attack."

Neighfarious said, "You heard him, let's get them." Neighfarious and the two Negasus rushed forward to clash with Jibanyan and Beelzebold who came to meet the three yo-kai in a melay fight. Neighfarous would smack Beelzebold with his wings or bite him or stomp or headbutt or even drain from Beelzebold being able to fly all around to fight with the Beelzebold. Beelzebold blocked with his pitchfork staying defensive for most of the fight but not letting any attack escape Neighfarious. Jibanyan was having a slightly harder time as the two pegasus yo-kai were easily able to out maneuver the cat and they just kept landing hit after hit on the cat almost mockingly. Jibanyan was barely able to land a single punch. The Moskevil mostly just sent inspirit after inspirit to fight their opposition. Toiletta countered them to the best of her abilities using her inspirit to intercept the other inspirit. Espy tried to guide Toiletta in her blocks as well as helping out by attacking the Moskevil with rocks.

Nate said, "Jibanyan try you flame attacks." Jibanyan listened to Nate and flicked his flaming tails, whipping both of his equestrian enemies with flames. Jibanyan then pelted both Negasus with tiny balls of fire much to their dismay. Of course this moment of advantage only lasted a couple moments after that both Negasus hit Jibanyan with blasts of powerful wind and Jibanyan was back to not being able to land a hit. The Moskevils started to drain energy along with Mircle which made things even worse for the team. Things were not looking good for Jibanyan, Toiletta, Espy, and Beelzebold until… Two Mirapos came and deflected two waves of aura back at the two Moskevils.

The Mirapos said, "We are here to help." "We can even these odds."

Lucas, Lina, Zoey, and Nate were all surprised but it was Whisper who said, "Where did those two Mirapo come from?"

Mircle said, "Urrh you back stabbers."

Lucas said, "Oh they must have been helping to make the mirror hall."

Lina said, "It is good that they are here. We really needed it."

Zoey said, "yeah and they should be really helpful." With the Mirapo up in front blocking the attacks of the Moskevil and Mircle. Espy and Toiletta helped Jibanyan with the Negasus and supported the Mirapo with dealing with the Moskevil and Mircle.

Beelzebold said, "I am done playing around, it is time to get serious." Beelzebold blocked Neighfarious' bite using his pitchfork. Neighfarious bit down hard and Beelzebold spun the pitchfork spinning Neighfarious. While Neighfarious was dazed Beelzebold spit fire spraying Neighfarious with burning damage. Beelzebold then took back his pitchfork and then rapidly and furiously stabbed Neighfarious. Beelzebold then spit some fire on the pitchfork and landed one final stab on Neighfarious dealing massive damage and causing the black pegasus to poof into purple smoke. Beelzebold then helped to take down the Negasus.

Mircle saw things were about to fall out of his favor so he prepared his soultimate by charging up with energy.

Nate said, "Dang it Jibanyan already used his Soultimate."

Beelzebold said, "Oh he's getting desperate but I am getting bored let's end this. Boldakazam." Beelzebold unleashed a powerful wave of energy right before Mircle could unleash his own soultimate. Both Negasus were knocked out cold and Moskevil and Mircle were weakened and after a few seconds fainted. Whisper grabbed the stuff that the yo-kai dropped and gave it to Lina, Lucas, Zoey, and Nate.

Alex said, "Oh good the door unlocked now I can head up to the roof see you guys."

Lucas said, "Thanks Beelzebold."

Lina said, "Yeah, thank you guys."

Zoey said, "You guys were great out there."

Nate said, "Yeah Thanks Mirapos we really needed you."

Jibanyan said, "We could have handled it but you guys were a big help."

Toiletta said, "We really appreciate it."

Espy said, "Yes things would have been much tougher without you."

Beelzebold said, "Ha that was fairly fun."

The Mirapo said, "Glad we could help, we are sorry for Mircle's actions. We thought we were just having harmless fun. We have no intention to harm anyone."

Toiletta said, "Don't worry I'll have a little chat with him later."

Nate said, "Let's go only one place left to check."

Lina said, "And only one more mystery."

Zoey said, "let's go."

The group went down to the first floor. It was just as dark as the rest and it was separate from the rest of the school due to desks near the front. Nate, Lina, Zoey, and Lucas came down from the stairs with Whisper, Jibanyan, Espy, and Toiletta following behind. The hallway was fairly quiet of course Zoey thought it was too quiet.

Lina said, "The last mystery should be in the nurses office so I think Eric and Katie should both be in there."

Lucas said, "That makes sense."

Toiletta said, "It should be fairly easy to deal with the yo-kai in there."

Zoey said, "It is just a moving scale not that interesting."

Nate exclaimed, "Katie!" Nate saw Katie slowly walk in the halls until she made it to the front of the boy's restroom.

Zoey asked, "Why is she going into the boy's restroom?"

Whisper said, "Hmm that is some odd behavior."

Jibanyan said, "I think she is being inyfluenced by a yo-kai."

Whisper said, "No way."

Toiletta said, "I agree, with Jibanyan."

Espy said, "Me too definitely the work of a yo-kai."

Nate said, "Ah man okay guys I'll go after Katie you guys can go check out the nurse's office."

Lucas said, "Okay be careful."

Lina said, "Looks exciting. Good luck."

Zoey said, "Don't get yourself killed."

Toiletta said, "I have no idea which yo-kai would be doing that this is the last mystery in here."

Whisper said, "How scary could it be, probably just a small weak yo-kai."

Espy said, "His statement just makes me worry even more."

Nate ran after Katie though as he did a chill ran down his spine, he was going to fight the yo-kai in that restroom he couldn't let Katie get hurt. Though he already knew Whisper was going to be very, very wrong. He could almost feel it.

AN: Here we are, I feel at this point most of you can get what is coming next if I hadn't made it obvious enough Whisper put the last nail in the coffin, So the kids had their trials and tribulations I got to show off some characters and yo-kai as well as the power of negotiation rather than confrontation. I know I left a couple plot inconsistencies somewhere in here, I either forgot about them or couldn't figure out how to fix it but it shouldn't be too major hopefully.
