The Junior Champion League was still going going on. As a battle royale was happening, it was every duelist for themselves. All Yukin and his friends do was try and survive for as long as they can. However, as all of this was going on, other matters and trouble would soon be coming. Siri was in the city herself and was looking around while staying low at the same time.

"Sounds like there's a party going on." Siri said as she kept herself hidden. "I don't know what's going on, but I better keep myself hidden. The city seems to be deserted. If that guy from the other day is looking for me, I'll be easy to spot." Siri kept moving while trying to stay hidden, but she really has no idea on what's really going on.

Zoey

Zoey was in the middle of her own duel against Alad from LID. For someone from LID, he seemed rather nice.

"It's my turn now." Alad said as he drew his next card. "I'm going to summon my Wandering Mummy." He summoned out a mummy to the field with it having 1500atk points. "Sorry, Zoey. I'm going to have to attack and be one step closer to winning." Zoey readied herself for an attack, but he didn't get the chance. Some sort of explosion went off and they saw a monster made out of ice.

"Why is it monsters of ice never act cool?!"

"I know that voice." Zoey said as she saw Siegrain running out into the open with Alexa following him.

"What a simple man. You run like a scared little boy." Alexa said.

"That's it. I play my trap!" Siegrain said. "Go, Torrential Demise! Since there's at least one water attribute monster on the field after the battle phase, this trap will wash your monsters away. Hopefully, you with them." A large of water came in and destroyed Alexa's monster. She got caught in the current and was washed away. Out of confusion and having a monster on the field, Alad got caught in it as well with both of them being washed down the street. "Note to self: don't get on a Russian girl's bad side."

"Siegrain?" Zoey said. That's when he realized she was there the whole time.

"Hey, Zoey. I didn't see you there." Siegrain said. "How's your luck in this city-wide duel? Did anyone duel you yet?"

"I was in the middle of one until you showed up and just washed my opponent away." Zoey said.

"Oh... Sorry about that." Siegrain said.

"Forget about it. We just better keep going and be ready for when an opponent comes at us again." Zoey said.

"Good idea." Siegrain said as the two of them went separate ways. When they did, they didn't notice that Klaus was watching them.

"So that's Yukin's friends..." Klaus said. He looked in Zoey's direction and decided to follow her. "I better keep an eye on that girl."

Huo

Huo has been in Merge City for a while. After his duel with Drewsin, he's just been roaming around because he really has no idea where he's even going.

"Maybe I should have grabbed a map of this place before coming here." Huo said. "I have no idea where I'm even going. I just hope that Rini is here. Where is everyone in the first place?"

"Hey, look down there!"

"We found another sorry victim." Huo looked and he soon crossed paths with Chang and Fung.

"Can I help you?" Huo asked.

"Yeah, you can." Chang said.

"Just hold still while we take the rest of your life points." Fung said as they mistakenly thought that Huo was a fellow competitor in the tournament.

"You want to duel me? You got it!" Huo said with some excitement. It didn't take him very long to beat both of them as he summoned out some of his best monsters and beat them. The last of their life points were eliminated. "That was a let down. These guys are weird. I don't have time to play around. I've got to find Rini." He started his runner and drove off to find his friend.

Zoey

"Looks like I'm on my own again." Zoey said as she just roamed around Merge City. On the bright side to this, if she can make it until time runs out like this, she'll advance to the next part of the tournament.

"A young lady such as yourself shouldn't be roaming around alone."

"Who's there?" Zoey said as she got her guard up. She turned around and was met with Klaus.

"Forgive me. I didn't mean to startle you." Klaus said. "My name is Klaus. I was roaming around when I saw you were alone. A lady such as yourself shouldn't really be alone."

"Don't make it sound like I'm a helpless little girl. I can take care of myself pretty well." Zoey said. "If you came here to duel me, I don't mind taking you on."

"Hold it right there, both of you." Both of them looked across the street and they were met with Siri. They were both shocked to see she had the same face as Zoey.

"You have a twin?" Klaus asked.

"No." Zoey said. 'I can't believe it. She has the same face that I have. How can that be? Wait a minute. Could she be Brui?' She wondered.

The Arena

Everyone was enjoying the duels on the monitor. However, they saw that a live fee was cut. It was the one that showed Zoey and Klaus with Siri. Since they couldn't see anything, people began complaining and got frustrated at what they saw.

"What just happened? Where did everything go?" Augustus said.

"There must be some sort of technical problems." Nathan said.

"Wasn't that guy Zoey was with the same guy that Yukin was with earlier?" Alyssa said.

"What?! She's alone with some boy that I haven't even met yet?!" Eli said as he didn't like the thought of that.

"Calm down. I didn't get a good look, but I thought I saw another girl there too. I wonder what's going on." Yuzu said. The truth was that Renji set it up so that no one could see what was going on.

"The public must not know what's going on yet." Renji said. Renji is keeping an eye on everything and is making sure the public is only seeing what they need to see at the moment.

Zoey

"It looks like I found a couple people. You better tell me where I can find the rebels or else." Siri said.

"Rebels? What are you talking about?" Zoey questioned. "Are you talking about Drewsin and Shun?"

"So you do know them. Tell me where they are or else!" Siri said as she activated her duel disk.

"I don't know what's going on, but if it's a duel you want, I would be more than happy to oblige." Klaus said as she stepped forward and activated his duel disk.

"Here I go!" Siri said as she was getting ready to play her first card.

"Wait a minute!" Zoey said, but Siri wasn't listening.

"I'll start by summoning Lady Starlight Light to the field!" Siri said. She summoned out a yellow woman that shined like a star wearing a yellow crystal-like armor and had a metal star on a band of her head. She also had 1200atk points. "Now, he special ability activates. When she's summoned, I can special summon another Lady Starlight from my deck. I summon Lady Starlight Fire!" She summoned out another woman in red this time with a metal fire over her head. She had 1400atk points. "I now activate Lady Starlight Fire's special ability. Once a turn, you lose 200LP for each Lady Starlight on the field. Since I have two, that makes 400!" Starlight Fire unleashed a couple fireballs that hit Klaus and his life points dropped to 3600. "I place one card facedown and that ends my turn."

"It's my turn!" Klaus said as he drew his card. "I'm going to start by summoning out Elemental Hero Heat to the field!" He summoned out a red hero to the field and his attack points were 1600. "Thanks to his ability, he gains 200atk points for every Elemental Hero on the field. That's including him." Heat's power increased to 1800. "Next, I activate Fusion Sage! This spell card allows me to add Polymerization to my hand." He took Polymerization from his deck and placed it in his hand. "In fact, I think I'll activate it now. I play Polymerization!"

"That means he can fusion summon!" Zoey said.

"Indeed. I'm fusing together Elemental Hero Ocean with Elemental Hero Ice Edge!" Klaus said as his two monsters began to fuse. "With heroes of the ice and of the sea, this monster will make you freeze! I fusion summon Elemental Hero Absolute Zero!" He summoned out another monster with power over ice and had 2500atk points. With another hero, Heat's attack points increased to 2000. "Absolute Zero, how about you give that Lady Starlight Light an icy cold treat!"

"Not so fast! I activate my Starlight Reach trap! This trap makes it so none of my Lady Starlights can't be destroyed this turn!" Siri said. Absolute Zero unleashed a cold blast and hit Light with it. She wasn't destroyed, but Siri still took damage as her life points dropped to 2700.

"Elemental Hero Heat, you go give her a warm welcome!" Klaus said. Heat flew at Light and blasted her with fire. Siri still took damage as her life points dropped to 1800. "I think that's enough for this turn. Can't be too rough on a lady, can we?"

"I can take anything you throw at me. Just watch!" Siri said as she drew her next card. "I activate Polymerization!"

"You have one too?!" Klaus said.

"You're not the only one that can fusion summon." Siri said. "I fuse Lady Starlight Light and Fire together!" Both of her monsters began to fuse together into a new monster. "Ladies of fire and light, these two together will end this fight! I fusion summon Lady Starlight Sun!" She summoned out a new Lady Starlight wearing orange armor and looked like a queen with the sun planted on her head. She also had 2400atk points. "Next, I activate Starlight Perfume! This spell card will give her an extra 200atk points for each Lady Starlight that's in my graveyard." Her strength went up to 2800. "What's more is that she is able to attack twice in one turn."

"Go ahead. I'm not worried." Klaus said.

"You should be. Lady Starlight Sun, attack with Solar Rage!" Siri said. Her monster unleashed an intense ray of light and blasted Absolute Zero with Klaus' life points dropping to 3700 and Heat getting weaker.

"Bad move. When Absolute Zero is destroyed, all of your monsters are destroyed!" Klaus said.

"Wrong!" Siri said. "Starlight Perfume prevents Lady Starlight Sun from being destroyed! That means she's free to attack again!" Her monster attacked again and destroyed Heat with Klaus' life points dropping to 2700.

"Stop! That's enough!" Zoey called. "Klaus, she's not even in the tournament! Brui, stop right now and let us talk!"

"Brui? You got the wrong sister. My name is Siri."

"Siri?" Zoey questioned as she thought for sure that was this Brui. "Klaus, can you leave us alone to talk?"

"Are you sure?" Klaus asked.

"Please. I need to talk to this girl." Zoey said.

"Well, okay. You two share a face. Maybe that means she'll listen." Klaus said. He did what he was asked and left the two girls alone. This could be a chance for Zoey to figure things out.

Yukin

Yukin looked around the city for another opponent. He came to a stop when he found one, the one he was looking for: Shun.

"Shun! There you are." Yukin said. "I've been looking for you. I've got questions and you've got answers."

"I have some questions for you too, Yukin." Shun said. "How did you get your hands on Shadow Shudamin? That's Drewsin's card."

"He gave it to me." Yukin said.

"Shadow Shudamin is a one of a kind card, and Drewsin's most precious card. You really expect me to believe he just gave it to you?" Shun said. "What did you do with him?"

"He's resting back at my house." Yukin said. "Now, you better tell me what I want to know."

"There they are!" The three of them looked and saw they were surrounded by three more competitors.

"Great. More of these jerks from Battleground." Yukin said. Shun and Yukin were going to get ready for a fight, but they stopped when they heard a series of explosions go off as the two of them dived to the side. "What was that?" They looked and saw three guys dressed in red uniforms, but Yukin was more surprised to see Soto was there. "Soto?"

"There you are, Shun. I've been looking for you." Soto said with Shun getting annoyed. "I finally get to even the score with you, Shun. You want to take me down because I'm in Promin Academy, right? Come and get me." Soto ran off and Shun went after him.

"What's going on?"

"No clue."

"Attack!" The guys in red said as they had their monsters attack those three. Yukin watched in horror as there was no mercy going on. One from Battleground was knocked down with a soldier from Promin Academy standing over him and pointed his duel disk at him. He pressed a button and emitted a bright light that turned the guy into a card.

"No!" Yukin said as he couldn't believe he just saw that. Neither did the other two. They were attacked as well and were about to share the same fate. "Stop!" Yukin demanded, but they didn't as they were transformed into cards as well. It was horrible. Yukin couldn't stand seeing this as he fell into rage and something took him over.
