"Thank you all for coming."

Emma welcomed Yusaku, Jin and Takeru to Kusanagi's van. Kusanagi was also with them.

"You said you had something of importance?" Yusaku asked.

"Straight to the point as ever…." Kusanagi sighed.

Emma put her hand into her pocket and showed a USB stick to the boys.

"I'm sure you're all aware Aoi has been distant from you three… she tried to get into SOL and I had to go with her… long story short, SOL fired Queen and now have a new man in charge… I got locked in his office and I was able to pull this up from his computer."

"SOL? Yes it makes sense Aoi would focus on them…" Jin said to himself.

"Did she find anything?" Takeru asked.

"Nothing but we need you guys to help us tackle this data. SOL will have some tracking system on it the moment we open the file. Yusaku, Jin can you help Kusanagi with it."

"I…. I'm not a hacker!" Takeru blushed.

"That's why I didn't say you name, Takeru. Instead I need you to go to Aoi and get her to talk to you."

"That I can do! But what have you been doing all this time, Yusaku? You're as lonely as Aoi?"

"I…. I know Revolver escaped…. I've been looking for him."

"That's not healthy." Kusanagi said. "I have tried telling him….."

"Well the remnants of Hanoi can wait, they're gone. SOL has Akira Zazien somewhere and they want the Ignis. Can you help me with that?"

"I'll try my best." Yusaku said.

"We better get started." Jin replied.

"And I'll head off to see Aoi." Takeru affirmed.

Aqua

"Now where am I?" Aqua thought after she materialized after escaping from Mirror LINK VRAINS.

Aqua was a in a long green tunnel with data going up and down. There were multiple tunnels which led off in different directions.

"I don't even know where I've spawned to… and I'm back in SOL territory just the same as the others… and Lightning, he won't stay in hiding…."

Aqua looked around and tried to sense which way to go.

"Den City…. found you!" Aqua pushed herself forward and begun to head down one of the tunnels. On the side a small censor begun to light up.

SOL

"Explain yourself Kitamura."

Kitamura stood in his office with King, being represented once again by his chess counterpart.

"How did Ghost Girl take a data file from us? You allowed her that opportunity!"

"Once she activates the file, we will know their place and quickly take back the data while infecting their systems!"

"And the search for the Ignis… hiding in a network outside our own…. you are failing just as much as Queen did. Without the data material the Ignis hold, LINK VRAINS 3.0 cannot begin to rebuild."

"We are working on it!"

"You have 48 hours to prove your worth. They cannot learn a single thing about what our intention is."

"Understood…." Kitamaura begrudgingly smiled as the chess piece faded away.

"Sir!" Appearing on his desk was a SOL worker in a holoscreen.

"What is it?"

"Five Ignis have just reappeared in our network tunnels!"

Aoi

Takeru had just arrived at Aoi's apartment but before he could come inside she was already waiting outside.

"I had a feeling Emma would send you…."

"Did you…. well you were right!" Takeru nervously laughed. "Emma took something from SOL Tech, Yusaku and Jin is decoding it now."

"You said before you're not much of a hacker…"

"Emma cares and doesn't want you to be like this, Aoi. You've lost Aqua… I lost Flame.. Yusaku lost Ai but deep down you can see he misses him as well."

"I lost a lot more than that… right now Akira is being held up somewhere… I don't want to drag anyone else into this pain."

"We all suffered from the events from before, Aoi… I get that you've got more on the line right now but surely after how we took down Revolver and the others, that proves we're stronger working together?"

"I get that but I can do this myself and that's all there is to it."

"Please Aoi…"

"I'm fine by myself." Aoi picked up her school bag from the bench which was placed near the wall and left Takeru who didn't wish to annoy her more by following her.

SOL

"Five Ignis…. this is like every celebration day all at once!"

"How shall we capture them, sir?" replied a worker.

"Deploy everything we've got! Hold no expense!"

Aqua

"I wonder where the others could be. Are we all heading to the same place?" Aqua thought as she continued down the network tunnel.

Aqua was still using her senses to head towards Den City until those senses picked up another.

"What was that?!" Aqua stopped and looked behind her as drones were SOL'S logo on them appeared.

"Ignis, cease and you will not be hurt"

"SOL detected me? Well I'm not going to allow anything to stop me from returning to my friends!"Aqua put her fists together which formed an aqua ball. She launched multiple which slammed into the drones, destroying them as they turned back into data.

The data then merged back together as they formed new drones.

"The drones aren't physical?!"

Behind Aqua appeared more drones which fired out chains which locked around her neck and legs.

"I'm also data!" Aqua tried to teleport from the tunnel and escape to another but the chains prevented her from doing it.

"Ignis, you are now a property of SOL Tech. Reveal where you're following Ignis are."

"I'm no one's property!"

"Five Ignis appeared in our network tunnels and we're currently in pursuit of them. Where is the sixth Ignis?"

"Lightning? I'm not telling you!"

"Then we shall extract the data ourselves."

"I said I'm no one's property!" Aqua lit up in a blue aura as her eyes turned from pink to dark blue. "Now get off me!" Aqua yelled as the chains were ripped from her.

Aqua fired rapid balls at the drones which once again dissolved them. Aqua then teleported away before the drones could reform.

Reappearing in another tunnel Aqua's eyes turned back to normal and she looked at her hands.

"How… how did I manage that? Where was that strength from?"

"Aqua?"

Appearing behind Aqua in the network tunnel was black and red figure.

"Flame! You got sent to this place?"

"Yes but I'm being chased! Keep moving!" Flame yelled as she saw more drones coming up on him.

Emma

"File is open." Yusaku said.

"I'll monitor for any attacks on our system." Jin said as he was paired up with Emma.

"And we'll see what is lurking within this file." Kusanagi said as both he and Yusaku were working on the SOL file.

"I took whatever was on that Kitamura's computer…. he didn't seem the most intelligent person so whatever we find… must be left over from Queen's computer." Emma explained.

"But SOL would've wiped anything important, right?" Jin said.

"Kitamura would need that information so unlikely." Emma replied.

"We found some stuff." Yusaku said.

"Yeah we have a full file here of SOL's blueprints for various inventions and redesign for LINK VRAINS 3.0" Kusanagi said.

"Anything about Akira?

"Not just yet… I'm copying as much as we can." Kusanagi affirmed.

"And SOL has just begun to enter our systems!" Jin yelled as he and Emma got to work.

Aqua

"I guess Lightning had a point…. kind off…" Flame said as both he and Aqua continued to try and out run the drones.

"Yes but we were trapped there and we're not going to be trapped by SOL either!"

"How much further until the connection point?"

"Not much further…. is there any way we can signal the others?" Aqua replied as she looked back.

"Not while we're being chased!" Flame said as he noticed something coming down from the top of the tunnel. "Aqua!"

Aqua looked forward and wall had closed down on the tunnel. The drones behind stopped and now Flame and Aqua were cornered.

A holoscreen appeared which showed Kitamura and the two Ignis looked at him.

"So you're Ignis? You're ugly-looking things…." Kitamura noted.

"And who are you?" Flame asked.

"I'm Kitamura, the new…. temporary… head of SOL Tech of Den City! LINK VRAINS is my reasonability and without your data material it can't reopen!"

"SOL want us and our data material… well you've failed at every attempt!" Aqua hit back.

"Here's a deal…. give up your other Ignis friends and I won't take you in with such force…. like you showed."

"Force? What do you mean?"

"This blue Ignis… it seemed to power up even more… it broke out my drone army's chains…."

"Yes… Aqua is a special Ignis…" Flame said. He didn't want to say anymore to keep her past as Aoi and Miyu's Ignis secret.

"Now tell me!" Kitamura yelled.

"Not a chance!" Aqua yelled as she powered up once more and aimed her hand at the wall. She fired another blue ball which dissolved the wall quickly.

"What power…." Flame said.

"Now go!" Aqua grabbed Flame's hand and launched forward.

"You are annoying AI!" Kitamura yelled.

Emma

"We're holding SOL back for now but each time we block them… they are countering us!" Jin said.

"We're almost done copying the files." Kusanagi replied.

"After this I'm defiantly not getting another job for SOL!" Emma joked as she continued to help Jin.

"Download done." Yusaku said as he pulled the USB from the computer.

"And now we can terminate this!" Emma hit a switch on Kusanagi's van which shut off all the power, sealing SOL out of their system.

"They'll know where we are now." Yusaku said.

"Then let's get away from here and see what we dug up."

Aoi

Aoi sat in her living room with her blue duel disk still on the table.

"I can do this myself… I have to." she thought as she sat back in the seat.

As Aoi was going to get up from the seat she felt something run down her spine.

"What… was that?"

Aoi looked at her duel disk and picked it up.

"It can't have been?"

Aoi felt the presence for a second time as looked inside the duel disk's holographic centre.

"Aqua?!"

As Aoi looked her phone rang. Aoi put the duel disk down and shook her head, she thought she was just imagining it.

"Aoi, it's Emma."

"Where are you? What do you want..?"

"Aoi, long story short…. we know where Akira is!"

"You…. do?!"

Behind Aoi her duel disk begun to rattle and rumble on the table, before Aoi could look at it in more detail a small blue head appeared followed by a red and black head.
