RAW: 19/2/2007
Monday Night RAW was live at the Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield, California. A Barber shop was set up in the middle of the ring. Vince's music hit and he came down to the ring. He took the mic and said in 41 days, Donald Trump would be stepping into his yard, into his creation, WrestleMania. He said he was going to beat the holy hell out of Donald Trump and beat him to a pulp. He said once that was done, he was going to strap him down and slap the hell out of him so he's conscious when he shaves his head.
He said he was going to look down at Trump and tell him it was all too damn bad when he whined. He said bald-ness was in vogue just look at Britney Spears! He flashed a picture of Spears on the big screen and then showed one of Donald Trump, which evolved each time McMahon named a new hair cut. McMahon said his representative would beat Trump. He said Trump would pick his representative in a week. Vince was going to introduce his representative tonight. He introduces UMAGA who comes down to the ring with Armando Alejandro Estrada.
Estrada got in the ring and said it would be an honor for Umaga to decimate Trump's representative at WrestleMania. Vince said Umaga would be a champion and a champion tonight. He introduced Jeff Hardy and said the Intercontinental Championship was on the line now!
After the commercial break, We came back to the match underway. Hardy retreated to the outside of the ring while Hardy hit two drop kicks through the ropes but was caught on a third attempt by Umaga. Umaga attempted to smash him into the ring post but Hardy wiggled out and sent him into the steps and ring post. Hardy leapt up on the guard rail only to get hit with a throat thrust.
Back in the ring Umaga laid Hardy out with a head butt and began stomping away at the champion. He gathered Jeff and hit him with a back elbow before dropping a big leg on him. Umaga hit some punches on the mat before picking up Hardy and smacking him right back down to the mat. Umaga slapped on a claw onto Hardy's trapezoids and used his weight to maintain the leverage advantage.
Hardy fought back with some elbows and a kick to the gut but got cut off with a major league lariat. Umaga went for his falling head butt and missed Hardy entirely. Jeff rose to his feet and avoided the charging Umaga in the corner and then hit whisper in the wind. Hardy went for a cover but Umaga kicked out. Umaga send Hardy into the corner and caught him on the rebound and hit a huge Samoan drop. He dragged Hardy into the corner and set up for the running ass to the face. Umaga lined him up and came charging in and took Hardy's head clean off his shoulders. Umaga picked Hardy up and killed him with the spike to win the match and the belt.
A Money in the Bank qualifying match is up later tonight and will feature Edge v. Rob Van Dam! The Bladewolf will be taking on Randy Orton later tonight in the Main Event.
Next match was Ric Flair & Carlito v. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch. The bell rang and Flair and Cade are starting us off. Cade grabbed a headlock and shoulder blocked Flair to the ropes. Flair caught a hip toss before grabbing the arm and wrenching and tagged in his partner. Cade hit a clubbing blow but Carlito was able to hit his spring board elbow, showing his quickness and agility. Carlito ducked under a clothesline attempt and hit two running knee lifts. Murdoch went for a cheap shot that didn't connect, but distracted Carlito long enough to get caught by Cade.
Murdoch tagged in and whipped Carlito into the corner and hit a back elbow. Cade tagged back in and hit some clubbing blows before tagging Murdoch in quickly again. Murdoch kicked Carlito in the face before slapping on a nice neck vice in the middle of the ring. Carlito fought to his feet but was cut off by Murdoch who body slammed him hard to the mat. Murdoch went for the elbow off the second rope and missed.
Carlito crawled to his corner and tagged in Ric Flair who went crazy on Murdoch and capped his flurry off with two back body drops. Flair chop blocked Murdoch's leg and went for the figure four. Cade attempted to intervene in the match, but Carlito caught him and sent him over the ropes. Carlito distracted the referee allowing Flair to hit a low blow. Flair tagged in Carlito who quickly hit the back cracker for the victory.
Backstage
Todd Grisham was in the back at the backstage interview area. "Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome my guests at this time, Shawn Michaels and the WWE Champion...The Bladewolf." Todd introduced as the two men came into view from opposite sides, staring each other down. "Gentlemen, I just wanted to get your thoughts on your big win last night at No Way Out."
"My thoughts? I didn't turn on Shawn when I could've...because I want to wait until WrestleMania." Bladewolf said as he stared down Shawn. "But don't think that because we've teamed together for a while and won the tag team titles that we are friends, Shawn. Because come WrestleMania...I will personally rip out your soul."
Shawn smirks. "And just like I told the whole world, until WrestleMania I got your back whether you like it or not." Shawn then grew serious. "But there is something we need to get out the way." they go eye to eye as Todd leaves. "You need to get yourself..." He suddenly looks at the camera, holding the DX DVD. "The New and Improved DX DVD goes on sale tomorrow, also available on WWE Shop. Com! Buy! Buy! Buy!"
"What...are you doing?" Bladewolf asked him. "Is that really how you advertise your merch? I can't believe a heartless, demonic monster like me is doing this but..." He holds up his own DVD which says Legend of the Demon Wolf. "The Legend of the Demon Wolf is now available on DVD and in stores now! Celebrate ten years of an epic career of an even more epic guy, watch as he teams with Kane and the Undertaker, battles at his first WrestleMania, causes untold destruction!"
"Mine has destruction." Shawn butts in.
Bladewolf gives him a look. "it's got thrills!"
"Mine has thrills!" Shawn adds.
Bladewolf sighs and looks at him before he looks at the camera. "It has supernatural mind games and it points to the belief that the Bladewolf is Superman!"
Shanw goes to say something but pauses as Bladewolf looks at him with a smirk behind his mask. Shawn nods. "Okay, that's gonna be a tough one."
Bladewolf then looks at the camera. "Also, be sure to see upcoming WWE Studios movie, The Condemned, starring Steve Austin, Vinnie Jones, and the Bladewolf. Goes in theatres on April 27, 2007. It's got thrills, actions, and explosions."
Shawn pats his arm. "Mine has this guy!"
Suddenly Big Dick Johnson comes into view dancing, making Bladewolf back away in disgust and nearly want to throw up until Shawn gives the guy a Superkick to the face. Bladewolf fixes his coat then flips his hair back.
"That was weird." Bladewolf commented.
"Hey, like I said, I got your back." Shawn smiles at him.
Bladewolf shakes his head then walks off, Shawn pointing at his DVD while mouthing 'Buy!' as he follows his partner.
Later
the Main Event had arrived, it was the Bladewolf vs Randy Orton in one-on-one action for the first time ever. In the arena, Randy Orton's theme hits and out comes the Legend Killer by himself as he makes his way down the ramp towards the ring.
"the following contest is set for one-fall! Making his way to the ring first, from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing 245 lbs...RANDY ORTON!" Justin Roberts announced.
"Randy Orton looks to kill another Legend here tonight." JR said. "He faces one of the big Legends once again in the Bladewolf. This will be the first time these two are in one-on-one action. Orton has faced the Bladewolf's brother, the Undertaker, but can he survive the Demon Wolf?"
"Well, I think he can." Jerry nods as Orton enters the ring. "He just has to use his experience to avoid being overwhelmed. Orton has managed to survive the mind games of the Undertaker and Hell in a Cell, even though he lost, but I think he can use that to his advantage."
Orton poses on the turnbuckles before he gets down and his theme dies down as he stares at the stage set, waiting for the WWE Champion.
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
The Devil's Wolf plays to a loud pop and the lights dim to a blood red, casting a sinister glow as the Bladewolf walks out with his WWE Championship around his waist, his half of the World Tag Team Championships on his left shoulder.
"And his opponent, from Death Valley, weighing 310 lbs, he is one half of the World Tag Team Champions and the WWE Champion...THE BLADEWOLF!" Justin Roberts announced.
"And here he is, the 8-time World Heavyweight Champion, the 12-time World Tag Team Champion." JR said. "last night at No Way Out, he teamed with his WrestleMania opponent Shawn Michaels to face the World Heavyweight Champion Batista and the Undertaker. Now, the Bladewolf looks to WrestleMania, he looks to brutaly assault Shawn Michaels at the big event, to rip his soul out as he himself said earlier."
"The Bladewolf vs Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania is a WrestleMania-worthy Main Event." Jerry said. "Both men have had big history with each other, Shawn was of course involved in Bladewolf's first WrestleMania match. If Bladewolf is Hell, Shawn is Heaven."
Bladewolf makes his way down the ramp and steps onto the ring apron then steps foot over the top rope and enters the ring. He pulls his hood down then removes his metallic mask and tosses it aside along with his coat, then hands his titles to the referee who hands them to someone at ringside as his theme dies down.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Bladewolf and Orton circle one another before they lock up and Bladewolf quickly gains the upper hand, using his strength and power to shove Orton down to the mat with a push before he grabs Orton and gets him into the corner, hitting several light lefts and rights before his punches got harder as he nails a hard right hand to the jaw of Randy Orton.
Orton fought back as he hits several punches himself then backs Bladewolf into the corner before hitting a shot to the solar plexus, flooring the champion. Orton laid the boots to Bladewolf in the corner. Bladewolf reversed an Irish whip and hit a fisherman's suplex for a two count.
Bladewolf gathered Orton and Orton caught a thumb to the eyes of the WWE Champion. Orton put the boots to Bladewolf again before being whipped off the ropes and hip tossed. Bladewolf hit a body slam and then dropped an elbow on Orton and went for another cover attempt.
Bladewolf whipped Orton to the buckles but Orton side stepped out of the way and hit a stiff lariat and went for a cover. Orton had another whip reversed and was slammed face first to the mat before Bladewolf chased Orton to the floor. Orton ran into the ring before both he and Bladewolf nailed each other with matching lariats. Orton seemed frustrated and went out to the announcer's area and picked up a steel chair.
The official tried to keep him from using it as RAW went to it's final commercial break.
*After the commercial break*
RAW comes back to Randy Orton holding Bladewolf in a chin lock. Bladewolf's arms move around before his fists clenched as he brings his elbows into Orton's ribs, forcing himself to his feet then he tackles Orton into the corner where he drives his shoulder into Orton's stomach a few times. Orton brings his forearms to the back of the WWE Champion which doesn't effect him as he nails a hard right to the jaw of Orton.
Bladewolf goes for a reverse elbow but misses and Orton hits a hard right of his own, then an uppercut before Orton floors the WWE Champion with a clothesline. Orton dragged the WWE Champion in from the ring apron and draped him over the second rope and DDT'd him to the mat hard. Orton went for a cover but the champ kicked out. Orton landed some punches in the corner before Bladewolf crumpled back to the mat. Orton dropped a mean looking knee drop before going into the Garvin stomp. Orton measured Bladewolf for a really looking knee drop and went for a cover attempt, but again, Bladewolf kicked out.
Orton clamped in the rear chin lock again and the two had a great struggle sequence with Bladewolf desperately trying to break the hold. When the crowd wasn't digging it, Bladewolf crumpled to the mat and looked like he was about dead. Bladewolf struggled back to his feet, and this time the crowd behind him and managed to break the hold, but Orton cut him off wit ha right hand to the face.
Orton kept punching away at Bladewolf before Bladewolf amped up and had had enough. Bladewolf clotheslines Orton, then sends him into the corner where he hits a turnbuckle clothesline, scoops Orton up...AND HITS SNAKE EYES! Bladewolf rebounds off the ropes...AND NAILS THE BIG BOOT! Bladewolf rebouns off the ropes and hits the leg drop across Orton's throat.
Bladewolf gets to his feet and raises his right hand, signalling a Chokeslam is looming. Orton stumbled to his feet and turned around...INTO A GOOZLE! Bladewolf lifts Orton up...AND ORTON COUNTERS IT INTO AN RKO! HE HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THRE-!" BLADEWOLF KICKS OUT!
Orton looked wide eyed in shock before he shakes his head and grabs Bladewolf, going for a second RKO but Bladeowlf shoved him off and Orton turns around only to be grabbed by the throat again, lifted up...AND PLANTED WITH A CHOKESLAM THIS TIME!
Bladewolf fell to a knee before he gets to his feet, flipping his hair back then he turns to finish Orton off...BUT IS HIT WITH A SPEAR BY EDGE!
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
The referee called for the bell to give Bladewolf the DQ win as Edge and Orton went right to work on Cena and set up an conchairto on the champion, but Shawn Michaels ran in with a chair of his own and made the save. Orton and Edge retreated and Shawn turns his attention to the Bladeowlf who gets to his feet and sees Shawn with the chair in hand but Shawn drops it.
Bladewolf eyes Shawn before he turns his back, not seeing Shanw getting the Superkick ready when Bladewolf whipped his head around to look at Shan who didn't hit it. Bladewolf glared at Shawn, knowing he would hit Sweet Chin Music...
And that's it for this chapter everyone.
