Surf Club - Angelo's

"Now this childish stage is hopefully put to bed for good, does anyone else have a problem they want to sort out?" Brax asks, staring at Emily as she raises her hand. "What're you doing?"

"I've got something I'd like to say." She says.

"You're so cute." Kyle chuckles, getting a confused look from her.

"What would you like to say?" Ricky asks.

"I know I'm the most hated person in your family right now, and I deserve it, I really do-"

"Emily, you don't need to say anything." Kyle interrupts, not needing to be put in an awkward position.

"Let me say this." Emily says to him before facing them all again. "I hurt Kyle so much and it was a mean thing to do. I was stupid for my actions and I'm reminded of how naive I was everyday." She says, glancing at the cast covering her broken arm. "I love Kyle so much, more than anyone else I've ever been with. I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have been given another chance by him, and I'm not going to ruin that again. I'd like to apologise to you all because I hurt someone you deeply care about, and I know you don't trust me, but I want to gain your trust back. Kyle's lucky to have a family like you to rely on and you're the best people for what you were willing to do just to make him happy." She says, knowing it would take more than a little speech to make things right.

"You were stupid and naive. And I didn't want Kyle to get back together with you because there were so many things you could have done to stop Brent sooner." Brax says, ignoring the harsh glare he was getting from Ricky. "But I guess I can trust that Kyle knows what he's doing. But not all of this was your fault, so I'll let it go." He says, briefly glancing in Ricky's direction.

"Thank you." Emily lightly smiles. "I appreciate it."

"There, wasn't so hard, was it?" Ricky smirks at him.

"Anyone else?" Brax asks, glancing between them all.

"What's going to happen about the overcrowded house situation?" Lucas asks.

"We're not sure yet. We'll come to that another time." Brax says, needing the triplets to bond before deciding who was going to live where, although he knew it would still be an issue for a while.

"What about your real wedding?" Kyle asks.

"We've haven't decided on a date yet, there's been family fights getting in the way of that." Ricky says.

"Has everything been covered now?" Brax asks.

"I'm guessing so." Heath says as no one else asks anything.

"Okay, you can get back to whatever you were doing then." Brax says.

"Do you want me to turn the sign around when we go down?" Heath asks.

"No, I'll do that later on." Brax says.

"What about our shift?" Lucas asks, him and Kyle being rostered on for the afternoon shift.

"Take the rest of the day off, I'm keeping this place shut today to catch up on some paperwork." Brax says, them all leaving, apart from Ricky who stays with him.

"You handled that well." Ricky says, surprised there wasn't more shouting.

"I've got one thing to say about Tyler, he'd die for his brothers. Maybe he deserves more of a chance than I thought he did." Brax says.

"How come you've only just realised this?" Ricky asks.

"He's willing to take beatings just so Kyle and Lucas don't get hurt. He's their big brother and I have to accept that he wants to protect them as well." Brax says. "The eldest triplet will always top eldest brother."

"You mean a lot to those boys, it doesn't mean you have to take a step back. It just means that both of you will protect those boys, you want the same for them. Maybe you've got more in common with Tyler than you think." Ricky says.

"You keep that to yourself, I don't need him thinking that I'm going to be easy on him." Brax says.

"You won't go giving him a really hard time will you?"

"I don't want him to think I'm going to let him into this family easily like I did with Lucas. He's still got this alpha attitude and I don't want it bringing trouble to our door. The boys don't listen to me anymore when I boss them around, let me have this." Brax says, smirking as she shakes her head at him.

"So how was your first family meeting?" Kyle asks his girlfriend as Lucas brings juices over for them after letting Tyler go back to his shift with Casey.

"It was eventful to say the least." Emily says. "Is it normally like that?"

"Pretty much." Kyle nods.

"The ones I've been to have been calm." Lucas says.

"That's because you've only been to about three. One of them was Brax and Ricky telling everyone they were married, which was now a lie." Kyle scoffs.

"Are you okay with them doing that to you?" Lucas asks, wanting to know if he was going to be more upset over it.

"I find it more amusing than anything." Kyle says. "They could have just bought me a car or a month long trip to another country. Instead they went to the effort of faking a wedding."

"It does sound funny when you say it like that." Lucas smiles. "It's the thought that counts and they made a huge effort just to cheer you up. That's dedication." He says as Tyler storms out over to them.

"I can't work in that place any longer." Tyler moans as he sits down.

"We've barely been out of the family meeting for ten minutes, what's happened?" Kyle asks.

"Casey just accused me of causing an ambush against him and wants us to move out." Tyler says.

"Please tell me that's a joke and he did not say that?" Lucas asks him, Tyler shaking his head. "Brax will go mad when he finds out."

"I tried to make amends, it's him with the problem." Tyler says, taking the juice from Lucas. "Has he always been like that?"

"Kind of. We did get on well once we got past the first lot of arguments, then this started happening." Kyle says.

"Could he just be lonely?" Emily asks.

"He lives in a house full of people." Lucas frowns.

"I don't mean it like that. Could it just be that he sees you in happy relationships, apart from you two who are single." Emily says, glancing at Tyler and Lucas. "Maybe he just wants someone to love him the same way we love you."

"He hasn't wanted a girlfriend, that's what he tells us before a night out." Lucas says.

"Yeah, he says if he met a girl and they clicked, then he'd go for it but it's never been the top of his list." Kyle agrees.

"That doesn't mean he doesn't want a girlfriend, it just means he won't actively look for one." Emily says. "There's a girl I went to school with and she's the same. How about we set them up on a blind date?"

"Why are you saying 'we'?" Tyler asks. "I'm not helping a tool like him."

"I will." Lucas says, Tyler looking at him. "If it gets him off our back and means we can go back to how he used to be with us, then I'll help."

"Okay, how about you?" Emily asks Kyle.

"Fine, but only so I don't have you on my back about it." Kyle says. "And if this goes wrong, don't expect me to take the blame."

"If it was to go wrong, I'll take full responsibility." Emily says. "So we're doing this then?"

"I guess you are." Tyler says, standing up. "I'm going to get myself into Brax's good books so he doesn't be so harsh on me."

"No one likes a suck up." Lucas says as Tyler walks away. "He drank all my juice." He mutters as he picks it up.

"Now you know why I never let Heath take my food or drink when he's around." Kyle laughs. "So who is this unlucky girl?"

"If you're going to talk like that then I'm going to keep it a secret until I've spoken to her." Emily says.

"What happened to no secrets?"

"Don't use that on me after you said you didn't want to know everything about my day." She laughs. "I'm not going to give into you so easily."

"Well I'm definitely not helping you out of this if Casey kicks up." Kyle says, knowing he would if it came to it.

"I will." Lucas says.

"Aw, thank you Lucas." Emily smiles. "Maybe I got with the wrong triplet." She jokes.

"No offence but you're not my type." Lucas says, getting stared at by both of them. "I really don't mean offence, you're gorgeous but I haven't a different type."

"Don't worry, I know you don't mean offence." Emily grins.
