Ayano sat behind Zeldris who was examining the holy sword Excalibur. He tries to pull it out but it wouldn't even budge, he sighs and turns towards her.
"You seem weirdly calm" He says
"Should I not be?" Ayano asks
"No" Zeldris walks over to her
A grey demon appears behind them "Prince Zeldris, Princess Ayano, 100 demons have been killed"
Zeldris looks up at him annoyed and raised his fist, "What did you say?! This time 100 were killed?! And you still have no idea who the hell has done it?!" The demon trembles and he growls "You're useless, enough, leave me!"
The demon quickly runs away and Ayano pats Zeldris's back
"Zeldi relax" Ayano smiles "everything will work out"
"Day after day, this god of death swoops in killing our men... And we've still not even the slightest hint of who he is" Zeldris says frustrated
"Then we'll have to teach him ourselves the true depth of his folly" Ayano smirks
"You're right" Zeldris smirks
"Zeldris... My Representative... My son..."
"Father?" Zeldris questions
"Father!" Ayano claps happily
"The Demon King and Queen will be awakening soon"
"You're awakening, father?! But there's still time left before the seal is broken..." Zeldris says confused
"Not me... But the ones who should have originally taken up my mantle"
Ayano points to herself "who? Me and Meliodas?"
"Yes"
"Really that traitor?!" Zeldris shouts
"Hah... Hah... Don't say that... He is thine own brother and we shall welcome him as the new King of the demons. Now I order you to save Meliodas!"
"Y...You must be joking! You want me to go rescue Meliodas so he can be the next Demon King?!" Zeldris questions angrily "Father! I cannot abide y-"
"I will not hear any protests, Meliodas is currently heading to your location, along with his comrades, the Seven Deadly Sins. In order to try to break my curse upon the Supreme Goddess' Daughter, Elizabeth... Hah... Hah... Hah... There is no longer any threat to the demon clan apart from them. When you rescue him, kill all the Seven Deadly Sins... Before they become any greater of a threat... Understand you two?"
"Yes Sir!" Ayano and Zeldris reply
"I shall be watching over from Purgatory"
The voice disappears, Zeldris and Ayano leave the room and head out to find the Commandments. Zeldris attempts to reach them through the mind link but nobody answers.
"Damnit... Why is no one responding? It can't be... Does this mean they've all been defeated by the Seven Deadly Sins?" Zeldris questions out loud
"I doubt it" Ayano walks into the throne room of the caste and sits on the throne
Zeldris sighs before hearing someone reply in the mind link. After a bit he growls angrily.
"What's wrong Zeli?" Ayano asks
"Gloxinia and Drole.. they've betrayed us!" Zeldris punches the wall leaving cracks up to the ceiling
"...Estarossa is currently in a coma... Which means the Ten Commandments have been essentially wiped out..." Ayano says "except for the two of us of course"
"...oh well" Zeldris's demon mark grows "let's take care of business, my princess"
Ayano's demon mark on her neck grows as her eyes glow blood red "Call for Cusack and Chandler, Chandler should be able to retrieve my king no problem"
Zeldris and Ayano sit in the garden with Cusack, Cusack pours them a cup of tea.
"So... They were even able to defeat the mage Chandler... The Seven Deadly Sins are quite a powerful band of people..." Cusack says and looking at the two "But even with his incomplete strength, he was able to prove a fatal threat to them... They should just let Meliodas go and let themselves be killed already"
Ayano take a sip of the tea and closes her eyes "Terrible"
"My princess, were you referring to the tea I made... Or the advice I had to give about the situation?" Cusack asks
"She was referring to both" Zeldris replies looking annoyed "They believe they are bonded together by something but they don't realize that there's nothing keeping them together forever"
"Bonds are fragile and can be broken easily" Ayano says as she shatters the cup in her hand "just like the bonds of demons and their mates"
Zeldris smirks and drinks his tea
Demon Meliodas opens the door to the castle, as he walks forward he sees Zeldris on the throne besides Ayano.
"...Well hello, Zeldris" Meliodas greets
"So, the greatest traitor of all time just comes leisurely strolling into the enemy base... You got some nerve" Zeldris glares at him
Behind Meliodas stood Elizabeth
"Not only that, he's brought that filthy goddess back along with him! How this managed to happen while the Pacifier Demon was with them can only be explained by complete and utter incompetence!" Cusack's shouts from beside Zeldris and Ayano
"Cusack if you keep talking I'm going to rip your tongue out" Ayano glares at him
"M-my apologies princess" Cusack covers his mouth
"I've come here.. to become Demon King" Meliodas declares
"Sorry to disappoint you" Zeldris glares at him "but I'm going to be the one to become Demon King"
"hmph I should've known" Meliodas smirks "you've always had your eyes on my women and my title haven't you"
Ayano sits on her throne silently watching.
"...And why am I the only one that's being left out here?" they look over to see Estarossa walking in "We three are each others' only brothers in this entire world, aren't we? To tell the truth, I don't give a damn about the throne of the Demon King, but if you guys are fighting over it, then I want in..."
"Well this is quite the show" Ayano speaks "All three brothers want to take over the position of Demon King" she smiles "but of course I have my bet on my beloved"
"And who is that?" Zeldris asks
"hah don't think anything big of yourself" Meliodas smirks "after all, I'm her fiancé"
"Do your best my dear" Ayano rests her head on her fist "don't make it too easy for him Zeli, Estarossa, put up a good fight!"
"This girl" Zeldris growls annoyed
"You should've remembered" Meliodas chuckles darkly "she's mine"
"hm.." Esatrossa stares at Elizabeth "Is that the goddess Elizabeth?"
"mhm" Ayano replies from her throne
"Forget it," Estarossa says "I changed my mind. I'm gonna pass on this whole game of fight for the Demon King's throne, but in exchange" He smirks "Give Elizabeth to me."
Ayano shrugs "take her"
"Aya" Meliodas glares at her "After all this time, I didn't come back just to fight amongst my future wife and my brothers... So let me make three things perfectly clear. The ones who will rule as Demon King and Queen are me and Ayano, I'm not handing Elizabeth over to anyone, and lastly, if I'm accused of having feeling for the goddess I'll prove I don't"
"Interesting..." Ayano says with a smirk as Estarossa and Zeldris rush to Meliodas readying their attacks
"Cowards don't get to covet!" Estarossa slashes at him
"After all this time, I won't you of all people to get in the way of my ambitions!" Zeldris shouts and slashes at him as well
Meliodas deflects them causing them to fall back with force "You two never learn"
Cusack rushes to Zeldris but Meliodas runs him through
"This is a matter between us siblings. Stay out of it" He says darkly
"Oooo" Ayano looks excited "this is getting interesting"
"Aya how could you just sit there enjoying this!" Elizabeth shouts
"It's entertaining" Ayano shrugs "I'm gonna be Demon Queen no matter who becomes my husband"
Chandler claps with tears falling, "Now this is the true majesty of a King! This is a King's might! I, Chandler, am so moved, I simply cannot hold back my tears!"
Meliodas glares at the two as Zeldris and Estarossa try getting up, but Meliodas puts more pressure with his darkness making them fall back down.
"That's better..." Meliodas walks over and bends down glaring at them, "After all, if we're going to discuss anything, first off we need to figure out exactly where we stand with one another."
"Demon Meliodas is so sexy" Ayano mutters to herself
"Ayano" Meliodas looks at her
"Eek!" Ayano jumps "y-yes dear"
Meliodas walks over to her and put his arm around her waist "you've been a bad girl lately my love"
