Staring after him, Fuiasu wondered just how large of a role the hanyou hare would play in her surrogate daughters life. She could not adequately judge his strength, or his devotion to the girl. Would he be willing to give his life for her, if it became necessary? Once he was fully trained, should he be made to swear the same oath all the guards and soldiers had sworn in protection of the royal family?
Shaking her head, she moved down the hall with her nearly forgotten missive. It would be yet another thing to add to her list of mysteries concerning Kagome and that was a list that was growing steadily longer, rather than shorter.
By the time her letter was handed off and her thoughts were mostly aligned, Fuiasu did not know what to do with herself. By now, Sesshoumaru would be finishing his sword play and beginning his classroom studies, while Kagome would begin her own lessons. There were numerous things she could be taken care of, especially with the impending "tea party" but all she really wanted to do was find her mate, close her eyes and lean on him.
