I'm looking forward to the evolution of the Bad Batch as characters. I want to see what drives them now that the Republic is gone.
I could see Cody as the leader, it would be good to see him again.
I don't know if Ashoka was in the right to let Mail out, but she didn't really have much of a choice. Mail helped kill dozens of clones while Ashoka res used Rex. If it wasn't for him. Rex might still be with the Empire or dead.
I did not know about this legends story or that Anakin made a decision like that. In that case, your question is a really good one. I bet there are similarities here, but I'm also betting there are differences. At this point, Ironwood could care less about Mantle. But I think Anakin felt some remorse, am I right?
