It looked to be another regular night at Beacon Academy. Well everywhere except for the dorm room of Team RWBY. The entire room was in complete darkness and anyone would assume that it was empty. That was until the light of a scroll showed that the Faunus of the team was curled up on her bed staring at the screen.

It had been almost two months since Blake Belladonna had been dumped by Jaune Arc and she still couldn't bring herself to move on. Despite all the effort her team put in to try to help their friend. When she came to Beacon, she never planned on getting into a relationship and even less so for falling in love. Especially with Jaune. But it made sense. The warmth and caring attitude he had was just what she needed to heal after her time in the White Fang and Adam.

A part of her thought that it was all too good to be true. And she was right.

She never intended for it to happen but that didn't make it right. It was over the course of a couple weeks, things had gotten busy for both Jaune and Blake. The two barely saw each other outside of class and meals. The whole affair was putting a good amount of strain on the relationship. It all came to a head one night, Jaune was off with his team doing some sort of team bonding. Ruby and Yang went out to have dinner with their dad and Weiss went out to talk with her sister at the CCT. In her boredom, Sun had asked if she wanted to get some training in. He had been at the training rooms with Neptune until the latter disappeared after he caught sight of another pretty girl.

She agreed and the two Faunus had spent the next couple of hours training and sparring. And she actually had more fun than she would've thought. Afterwards he walked her dorm and as they were talking. She had to admit that it was nice to spend some time with someone other than her team. When they got to her dorm, he leant in to kiss her. She wanted to push him away or tell him no but she didn't. For some reason she didn't do that. Then there lips met before she could regain her faculties and push him away, she heard a gasp.

And as she turned, she saw the worst thing she could imagine: Jaune standing there.

Before she could say anything, he just ran away. Blake quickly slapped Sun before trying to catch up to him but failed.

Blake, with red rimmed eyes was just staring at a picture she had taken so long ago. One of many she had of her ex-boyfriend. It was just him sleeping peacefully in bed. It was one she had taken on the first night she stayed in his room for the night and it always served to make her heart swell. Well, used to.

Her eyes started to water again and she quickly threw her scroll away, desperately trying to not cry again. But sadly, fate had other plans. When her scroll landed on the ground, it started to play a song from her playlist and that made her eyes go wide. "No…" she said weakly as she covered her eyes as the song filtered into the room.

(Play My Immortal by Evanescence.)

She tried to ignore the music so it wouldn't dredge up any more pain. But slowly she began to sing along to the song she knew so well nowadays.

I'm so tired of being here
Suppressed by all my childish fears
And if you have to leave
I wish that you would just leave
'Cause your presence still lingers here
And it won't leave me alone

One hand moved from her face to grip the front of her shirt.

These wounds won't seem to heal, this pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase

When you cried, I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream, I'd fight away all of your fears
And I held your hand through all of these years
But you still have all of me

She turned her back to the scroll and forced herself to stand from her bed, moving towards the window. She wrapped her arms around herself as she stared out it with teary eyes, trying to find some comfort but found none.

You used to captivate me by your resonating light
Now, I'm bound by the life you left behind
Your face it haunts my once pleasant dreams
Your voice it chased away all the sanity in me

These wounds won't seem to heal, this pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase

The tears began to fall as she looked up.

When you cried, I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream, I'd fight away all of your fears
And I held your hand through all of these years
But you still have all of me

I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone
But though you're still with me, I've been alone all along

She collapsed to her knees as her tears poured from her eyes. She sang with every once of pain still in her. Wanting nothing more than him to hold her again. To save her from the pain.

When you cried, I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream, I'd fight away all of your fears
And I held your hand through all of these years
You still have all of me, me, me

As the song began to end, she put her back to the wall just below the window. She pulled her knees up before wrapping her arms around her legs as she continued to sob into her knees. "J-Jaune…" she managed to get out between them. "I'm… I'm so sorry… I wished you still loved-" She didn't finish her sentence before a soul crushing sob erupted from her.

Unknown to her, the man on her mind was standing outside her door. He had been going back to his room when he heard the music coming from his sister team's room but stopped when he heard Blake sing. He just couldn't bring himself to move. Just hearing the amount of pain in his once love's voice just floored him.

With the music now gone and silence now coming from the room, he just kept staring at her door. His hand reached forward for the door but he stopped. He looked down to see that his hand was shaking uncontrollably. He clenched it into a fist before he forced it down to his side. He bit his lip as he turned his back to the door. Tears slowly going down his cheeks as he opened his own door and quickly disappeared within his dorm room.

A/N- It lives! I'm just as surprised as you all. I took a hiatus from all my stories a while back and now I've been having a tough time getting back into the swing again. So, that is why I went back to a tried and true method of getting back there: This story. And I have had the idea of doing Reverse Search for Closure chapters for a while now. So, here it is. And to answer the obvious question: Yes, this is a sequel to Blake's Search for Closure episode. It was too perfect to pass up.

Hoped you all enjoyed this surprise and maybe I'll do a few more of these chapters for the rest of RWBY and Pyrrha. See you all in the next update!
