Matthew 11 - Christ Jesus speaks of repentance and accepting him

Welcome brothers and sister to another Bible Teachings, continuing with Matthew 11, the disciples of Jesus are still off doing his commands. Yet at the same time Jesus did his own work by preaching in Galilee. Where he spoke more of the good news and many others at his time. While the Bible doesn't always give every detail of everyone's life, it give us what we need to know and hear. Yet sometimes when we know and understand we either accept Christ in our lives or we reject. Here we are told by Jesus about how he came and spoke of his message and how some had rejected him and others that accepted him.

The first to know is about John the Baptist who has made disciples as many of us followers of Christ should, are sent to seek Jesus to asked if he's the Messiah they been waiting. Now take note that these disciples are followers of John and not of Jesus. While all of us are followers of Christ, we are also capable of making disciples as he not only continually seek Christ, but also teach of the good new for anyone that will either accept for reject. John knew of the coming day that has arrived and wanted to confirmed this with his disciples.

Jesus answered them saying he is, but also mentions how John had his purpose to show them towards him, as it was foretold. Jesus also speaks of many individuals who have done great things under God's name, and for John to be leading towards him when Jesus appeared has to be the greatest honor anyone can receive. Now these days not many would get excited or jumping for joy for someone unless they are popular stars of movies, music and other sorts throughout the world.

In Matthew 11 verses 20-30 we are given details of those who reject him from verses 20-24, so far the names of certain places with people are Chorazin, Bethsaida, and Capernaum. Now I can imagine even if most have rejected him some or few accepted Christ Jesus for who he is and what he came to this world for us. What's important to know is how Jesus had preformed Miracles, cured their sickness and ill, he did what Christ Jesus is suppose to be doing. Yet the way it's said here is how they rejected him and what he came here for them. When mentioning places where they could have accepted like Tyre and Sidon, then they would have repented from their ways. Yet the people Jesus came for in Israel had denied him and is given woes for what they done.

At the same time for Capernaum, those who rejected him Jesus mention of the city Sodom. How they would have remained the same even if he did these things for them. The point Christ Jesus is making are about those who repented and unrepented lives their destine paths will be because of their acceptance and rejections. Now these days we take things too lightly as the world says our words don't matter. Sadly this is because when people speak of truth or promises, we tend to listen towards wrong people that have abused our trust and made personal gain for themselves. Even without this we have made ourselves foolish by not thinking over or at least take the time before we reject or accept what is offered. Now that doesn't mean about the everyday life. It more so about if you accepted Christ into your life or reject him. Even if we don't say it, we can think it in our minds and hearts. Take very great caution if your young believer or unbeliever. For Christ Jesus will accept you with open arms from repentance, but if you reject it immediately or believe yourself better then this, I encourage you and everyone to considered this before you think or say about your decision.

Then at the bottom of Verse 25-30, Christ Jesus gives praise to our heavenly father for revealing him to the world. Also mention to those certain people like hidden this truth from the wise, but reveals him towards little children. When mentioning little children in Jesus times, it's made clear as both example and standards that if we are to follow Christ, then we must be like little children. This is also related to our submission and obedience towards God. Now some of us have rough childhood, but the point is still made clear and for all of us we are children to God. We just sometimes forget or act foolishly towards choices focus on us instead of God. Beware of your choices and how when seeking Christ know you must accept everything written and taught from God, and think about if you were to reject him and his words.
