Kagome stood eagerly before Sensei, her small dagger held in carefully pointed to the floor. She was so excited! This was the best part of the day! It was nothing compared to Sesshoumaru's swords and kata's but at least it was something! At that moment, it didn't matter that she still had more book lessons after the Sensei was done with her, or that there still yet more training sessions for the formal affairs Mama planned to make her attend.
All that was important to her in that moment was that she was learning and in that learning, she was becoming more and more like Sho'mru, the person she admired most. She was going to be sore and sweaty and exhausted after it was all done, but it was worth it. It was more than worth it.
The sensei smiled at her and bowed. Clumsily, she bowed back. "Are you ready, Kagome-hime?" he asked softly as he moved to her side.
"Yes, Sensei!"
