The tournament started out fun, but it's not turning fun anymore. Promin Academy has begun an attack during the Junior Champion League. Yukin is facing three of them right now and he did something unbelievable. He took Sapphire Serapho and Shadow Shudamin and combined them into one powerful monster names Shadow Sapphire Serapho.

"How did he do that? What is that thing?" Lana said.

"I don't know. More importantly, something is wrong with Yukin." Siegrain said. Drewsin can feel it himself. He could actually feel Yukin's pain and anger.

"That monster looks tough, but it means nothing to us."

"That's right. As soon as your turn ends, you're finished."

"Wrong! You're the ones finished!" Yukin said. "I activate Shadow Sapphire Serapho's ability! By using all of his overlay units, he can destroy all monsters that are lower than level seven!" Both overlay units entered Serapho's chest as be build power. "Destroy with Black Flame Incinerate!" Serapho unleashed black and blue flames. The flames blasted against all the Hotshot Sniper's and destroyed each one. "After every monster is destroyed, each duelist that lost a monster loses 1000LP." The three from Promin Academy got hit by the flames himself as all their life points dropped to 3000.

"I can't believe he took all of them out!"

"We're still good. He'll only be able take down one of us."

"Yeah. We'll just finish him on our next turns."

"Wrong! Your time is up!" Yukin said. "Shadow Sapphire Serapho is able to attack a total of three times after he destroys all of your monsters!" The three of them didn't like this as there was nothing they can do. "Attack and destroy with Dark Flam Mangle!" Shadow Sapphire Serapho unleashed more of his flames and it formed a giant claw. He flew right at all three of them and the claw came right down. All three of them got caught in the attack and was blown back as they lost all their life points. Yukin caused much destruction with that attack. Siegrain, Lana, and Drewsin couldn't believe what they saw.

"Yukin...? You doing okay there, buddy?" Siegrain said. Yukin turned to them and he didn't seem calmer. He moved closer to them and they were all a little worried what he was going to do. That was when a piece of a nearby building fell out of place. The damage from the duel weakened a building and caused a piece of it to fall right on Yukin.

"Yukin!" Drewsin called as they were all worried he was hurt. Yukin was now unconscious and pinned to the ground.

"Yukin!" Siegrain called as he and Drewsin hurried to help him. They both tried lifting the building piece off, but Drewsin couldn't you use left arm and they weren't strong enough to lift it. "Hurry!" Siegrain called to Lana. "Get help!"

"Right!" Lana said as she ran as fast as she could. Yukin might be in real danger now.

...

Reese

Reese was dueling Alexa and Alad at the same time. He thought he could get the two of them to cooperate while also trying to beat them at the same time. It may have been two against one, but Reese was doing rather well against both of them.

"Master Food Royal Pasta, attack!" Reese said as his monster launched an attack. Alad got hit by the attack and was knocked down as he lost some of his life points.

"Finished already?" Alexa said.

"Nope. I'm good. Thank you for your concern." Alad said.

"I'm not." Alexa said. "I just want you still in this duel because you can be used as a shield. If he attacks you, I have more of a chance to bring him down."

"But we're working together." Alad said.

"No, we're not. As soon as he is beaten, you are on your own." Alexa said as she clearly wasn't a team player. "Now, back to the duel!" She turned back to Reese, but she saw Lana was there and she just asked Reese for help.

"Did you just say Yukin?! Of course I'll help!" Reese said. He forgot the duel and went with Lana to help Yukin.

"We are not done here!" Alexa called, but Reese kept going.

"I guess he has somewhere he needs to be." Alad said.

"Are you two looking for a duel? I could use a warm-up." Both of them turned around and they were met with something sinister heading their way.

The Arena

Just after Reese left, the live fee was cut again. At this point, you can't see any of the duels that are going on. That was causing a lot of frustration.

"This is nuts. Why do we keep losing the video?" Augustus said.

"Something doesn't seem right." Yuzu said. "That girl we just saw was Lana, right? Yukin told me about her. She's not in the tournament. What was she doing out there?"

"I'm starting to think you're right. Something weird is going on. I'm starting to think there's something LID doesn't want us to see." Eli said.

"That's it. I say we go and check out the duels in person." Nathan said.

"Agreed." Alyssa said.

"Same here." Augustus said. No longer wanting to wait and wanting to see some action, the three of them went off and planned to head directly into the city to see the duels.

"Hey, you three! Get back here!" Eli called as he went after the three of them. The kids ran straight for the exit, but they didn't get the chance as security blocked them from going anywhere.

"You're not allowed beyond this point."

"Only duelists competing are allowed through."

"That isn't fair." Nathan said.

"We just want to see what's happening outside." Alyssa siad.

"This is rather weird." Eli said as he caught up with them. "Why aren't we allowed out there?"

"Sorry. We're under orders to keep everyone here."

"Whose orders?" Eli asked.

"Mine." They looked behind the security guards and were met with Miss Abarin and Ristly. "Try and understand that this is the first time all of Merge City is being used as a gigantic dueling arena. There's no telling what could happen. So, for the safety of those who aren't dueling, we insist that you remain in your seats."

"I suppose that makes sense, but what about the safety of those who ARE dueling?" Eli said. "Why is it we're not able to see them duel and know they're okay?"

"I promise that we're doing everything we can to fix the videos. That's why I'm insisting you remain in your seats." Miss Abarin said, but Eli isn't sure if he can really trust her after all that has happened. Miss Abarain looked right at Nathan. "Don't worry. You'll get your "dueling action" soon. You're Nathan, right? You're in the finals of your division."

"Uh... Yeah." Nathan said.

"You'll be going against Ristly here soon enough." Miss Abarin said. "We'll keep you all entertained by moving straight to the finals of the youth division. Better get ready." With that, the two of them left and made sure the kids and Eli didn't leave. They don't know what's going on, but none of them like this at all, and are starting to get worried about Yukin and the others.

Siri

Zoey has told Siri everything she was told about what Promin Academy has done. Since Zoey hasn't seen what has happened with her own eyes, Siri will have to get the truth from someone who has seen it.

"Okay. I'm going to track down this Shun and get the truth." Siri said.

"There's a lot of ground to cover, but since only duelists are out here, it shouldn't be too hard to find him." Zoey said.

"Actually, it might be harder than you think." Siri said. "A tream of Promin Academy students were sent here. They're lead by some guy named Soto."

"Soto?!" Zoey said. Zoey wants to believe that's a good thing given all that Soto has done, but it's still up in the air to her if Soto is really her friend or not.

"They could be a problem. I'm not really suppose to be here." Siri said. "They might have orders to bring me back to Promin Academy, even if I don't want to. If they spot me, they'll take me back and I might not get the truth."

"I think I have an idea that could help." Zoey said.

"I'm listening." Siri said.

"Well, other than the hair, we look very much alike. Klaus thought we were twin sisters or such." Zoey said. "If we just switch clothes, maybe we can fool these guys. I'll get their attention while you find Shun and learn the truth."

"Are you serious? That could be dangerous." Siri said. "If they mistake you for me, they'll take you back to Promin by force. If they learn the truth, there's no telling what might happen to you."

"I know, but you need to learn the truth on what's going on." Zoey said. "I can take care of myself pretty good. All that matters is that you find out the truth." Siri was impressed with how brave Zoey was being. She can't afford to have setbacks. With the decision made, Zoey and Siri switched clothes.

"I sure hope you're right about this." Siri said.

"It will all be fine. When you do learn the truth, look for a guy named Yukin." Zoey said.

"Yukin?" Siri questioned.

"He's a close friend of mine, and a great duelist. He'll be more than willing to help you out." Zoey said.

"Got it." Siri said. Now that they have everything they need, the two of them split-up. Siri went to find Shun to learn the truth of Neon City, and Zoey made sure to buy her enough time so Siri would. What they didn't know was that they were being spied on the whole time. Zoey asked Klaus to leave her and Siri alone. He made it look like he did what they asked, but he was close by the whole time and was aware of what was going on.

"The old switcheroo." Klaus said. "It's a clever idea. Just not clever enough, Zoey." Since Klaus knows what they just did, what is he going to do?

Yukin

Meanwhile, Yukin was recovering after the accident. Thanks to a little help from Reese, they were able to get Yukin free, but he was still unconscious.

"Is he going to be okay?" Lana said. "Someone please tell me my sweet Yukin is going to be okay."

"I'm sure he will be." Siegrain said. "Yukin's pretty tough. I'm sure he's going to pull through."

"That's good to hear." Reese said. "He'll probably be hungry when he wakes up. I'll cook up a stew that will help get some of his strength back."

"Thanks a lot." Siegrain said. He was glad to hear that Yukin was going to be okay. Knowing that, he turned his attention over to Drewsin. "Now for you. Who are you anyway? How do you know Yukin? You said that Shadow Shudamin he played earlier was your card."

"My name is Drewsin. I'm the one that gave him that card." Drewsin said.

"Drewsin?! Hold on. Zoey told me about you." Siegrain said.

"What happened to your arm?" Lana said. Drewsin looked down at it, trying to get his thoughts in order with what happened while he was out of it.

"I got hurt not that long ago." Drewsin said. "I blacked out, but I'm guessing Yukin was the one that helped me out." 'What exactly happened to me? It was as if I could feel Yukin's pain and anger. Something came over me the other night until Yukin snapped me out of it.' Drewsin wondered what was going on with him and with Yukin. Is there some sort of connection between them? If there is, what could it be?

Zoey

Zoey ran around Merge City. She wanted to make sure she would be spotted by those who are in Promin Academy.

"I sure hope Siri finds Shun soon." Zoey said as she kept running.

"There she is!" She looked ahead and was spotted with a few students from Promin Academy. It looks like that they took the bait. Just how Zoey wanted. Now, it looks like she might have to duel her way out. Klaus was sure to stay out of sight as he watched things unfold. As Klaus was getting ready to enjoy the show, he heard someone clear his throat. He looked behind him and was pleased with who he saw.

"Hey there, Yuan." Klaus said. Yuan is now in the city. He's here for Zoey. Zoey's little trick might not be enough for Siri.
