All jokes aside. I'm glad everybody is having fun decoding the messages. It's really fun to write them, especially because now I've memorized letters.

So. This chapter will be the end of Midterms. At least the end of chapters that I'm willing to write. Then we're on to a planning chapter and finally the camp.

This chapter will also have some evolution for Mirko and Tomura. There will be a stage of further quirk evolution as well, but we'll get into that way later. And even then, it's just for two or three characters.

So. Let's go.

Todoroki and Uraraka stepped out onto the the testing ground. Thirteen wasn't there, but there was a force that seemed to pull at them.

"She's using her quirk to bring us to her… What should we do?"

Shoto hummed. "We could make our way around the city and get to the escape gate, or we could attack them. But if we go in, we aren't coming out unless we beat Thirteen…"

Ochaco nodded. "Okay then… Thirteen can also move around the city. That means we'll run into her eventually…"

"Should we just stick together then?"

Ochaco gave a thumbs up. "That would be the best plan. We can talk about ways to beat her as we keep going."

The two students began navigating the testing ground.

Kirishima's eyes fluttered open. He was in Recovery Girls office. The nurse had a livestream of the tests playing.

"Recovery Girl?"

The nurse's chair whipped around. Chiyo leapt up and ran to his side.

"Kirishima. How are you feeling?"

Kirishima stretched. "Like I got hit by a truck… But I didn't feel it?"

Chiyo chuckled. "Great description. Do you remember what happened?"

Kirishima looked at his hand. He saw it shake slightly, and could feel it buzzing. "I remember jumping in front of Bakugo, and then fighting against All Might… Holy shit… I fought against All Might…"

Chiyo bonked the boy on the head with her cane. "Language."

"How did I survive?"

Chiyo smiled. "Well… you pulled off what we've been waiting for…"

The nurse pulled out a clipboard and handed it to the redhead. "Congratulations Eijiro. You are the first in your class to pull off a quirk evolution."

Kirishima stared at the clipboard in his hands.

"What…"

Izuka and Hatsume had returned to the private lab. There, they worked on a suit for Hatsume, before grabbing a snack and going to the rooftop. Sitting on the edge, their legs swinging off the side of the building, the two looked out over the UA campus. They could see every testing ground, and the main student area.

Several students could be seen walking to their area. Izuka sighed and took a bite of her food. She was eating a sandwich. Nothing really incredible. Just a sandwich. A swoosh sounded behind her.

"So. I hear that you two had some fun."

Mirko stood on the rooftop with a grin plastered across her face. "Kick some hero course ass?"

Izuka shrugged. "Had to go easy on 'em. They killed my mood."

"That's a shame…" Mirko sat down next to her owner. "But you got out early…"

Izuka smirked. "Yeah. Aren't you supposed to be on patrol right now?"

Mirko purred. "I have the day off… Hawks wanted to go solo today, and I was lonely…"

Izuka wrapped her arm around the rabbit hero's waist and squeezed, causing Mirko to give a moan of pure bliss.

"Please… I missed you…"

"You can't be this attached Mirko." Izuka smiled. "It could come back to bite you in the ass."

Mirko winked at her owner. "I don't care… My ass is made for being bitten."

Izuka sighed. "So why did you warp up here to see us?"

Mirko chuckled. "You really are smart Miss Izuka… I need some new items."

"Such as?"

"I need a knife that's easy to hide, and a few other things. On top of that, I need you to analyze my DNA."

"Why?"

"I think I'm close to a breakthrough." The Bunny smiled.

"So an evolution then?"

Mirko nodded. "I think so. My body's been buzzing all day."

"Alright. Let's go."

Ochaco felt the pull getting stronger. She was beginning to slide along the ground, towards Thirteen.

"We're almost there." She said.

Todoroki nodded. "Right. You ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be."

The two kicked off of the ground and soared into the gravitational pull of Thirteen's quirk.

They emerged into the center of the testing site. Thirteen had their hands pointed outwards, drawing anything towards them. They noticed Ochaco and Todoroki, and pointed their quirk towards the two students.

"Welcome heroes."

Ochaco negated gravity on herself and launched towards the space hero. Thirteens eyes went wide, and they deactivated their quirk. Ochaco deactivated her quirk and landed on her feet in a fighting stance.

"That's right… you can't kill me…"

Thirteen growled.

'She's right… DAMMIT!'

A wave of ice swept towards the space hero. Thirteen leapt upwards as the ice covered the ground.

"You can't get me that easily heroes!"

"ALL I NEED IS A TOUCH!"

Ochaco leapt up and tapped her hand against the space hero. Her quirk took effect, and the hero stayed floating in mid air.

"Hmmm. Quite interesting…"

Ochaco shuddered as she saw Izuka flash in front of her eyes. The only person who had released her quirk, other than her.

Thirteen spun around and outstretched a hand. Their glove opened up, and they were pulled away from the fight. "Thanks for the buff Hero!"

Ochaco went wide eyed. "No…"

Todoroki clenched his fist. His left gauntlet whirred. "I got this. FLAMETHROWER!"

Out of Todoroki's hand came a concentrated jet of fire. It propelled him forward at the space hero. Thirteen pulled themselves out of the way.

"Ochaco! Release them!"

"But-"

"DO IT! BE READY WITH THE CAPTURE CUFFS!"

Ochaco's eyes flashed. "I got it."

Kirishima stared at the blood test results.

'A quirk evolution…'

His DNA hadn't changed much, but it still had drastic effects on his quirk.

"So what exactly does it do?"

Chiyo cleared her throat. "As far as I can tell, you have some sort of shock absorption built into your new quirk. Your cells convert the force of hits into energy that heals you, as well as boosts your strength."

"So… can I test it?" Kirishima raised an eyebrow. Chiyo motioned for him to test it.

Kirishima hardened his arms and punched his left arm. He felt nothing. Suddenly, muscles grew out of his wrist and fixed themselves to his elbow, before hardening overtop of his arm.

"So… This is the strength boost?"

Chiyo looked at his arm. "Incredible. Your muscles have rapidly grown to contain the energy and stabilize your arm, providing you with more attack power and an unbreakable defense!"

Kirishima felt the muscles retract. "But it only lasts for so long…"

"What do you want to call it now that it's evolved Kirishima?"

The redhead thought for a moment. "Perfect Defense."

"Excellent"

Izuka, Mirko, and Hatsume appeared in the private studio. Izuka closed the door and locked it.

"You want to do the blood tests Hatsume?"

"DO I? OF COURSE I DO!"

The girl quickly took a sample of blood and smiled. With a snap of her fingers, she was gone.

"So what is it like? Feeling that rush of new power?" Mirko grimmered.

"It's cool. Honestly, at first I didn't notice it. But then I brought the UA staff to their knees."

"You didn't notice?"

"Yeah. So, what are you doing next?"

"Shigaraki wants me to train with him… That's why I need to see my DNA results. I want to see how close I am to achieving this evolution."

Izuka nodded. "Most of the people at the league are very close to undergoing a quirk evolution. He probably wants to increase your power, as well as his."

Mirko nodded. "That makes more sense. At first I thought he was doing it for me..."

Izuka chuckled. "Shigaraki only does favors for specific people. Otherwise, he needs a reward as well."

Mirko nodded. "Well… in the way of gadgets and weapons, what else should I use?"

"Well. I can make you the knife. That's useful no matter what quirk you have. But I think you should wait for any other weapons until your evolution."

Mirko nodded. "Alright then… when will Hatsume get back?"

"In three, two, one."

Hatsume warped into the lab with an excited look on her face. "So. Based on these results, you'll be undergoing an evolution very soon. Like, today or tomorrow soon."

Mirko smiled. "Thanks! Well then… I'd better get to my training with Shigaraki. You mind working on the knife?"

Izuka chuckled. "We can make that in ten minutes. Easy peasy."

Mirko smiled. "If you say so. Alright Hatsume, can you send me back?"

Hatsume pointed in front of Mirko, and a starry gate opened. The Bunny vanished, as did the warp gate.

"So Hatsume. Did you get some good pictures of her cells?"

The support student grinned.

"Oh you have no Idea. Her evolution will be really cool."

Mirko stepped into a large underground room. Tomura stood in the center.

"So… we both are almost there…"

Mirko grinned. "So how about we raise the bar?"

Shigaraki chuckled and straightened out. His vertebrae popped in succession. He flexed his hands. "I'd love to."

Mirko cracked her knuckles. "Then let's dance."

Both ran towards each other, excitement in their eyes.

Todoroki threw a spear of Ice at Thirteen, who dodged out of the way by using Black hole.

'Come on Uraraka… you've got this.'

Suddenly, Thirteen fell. The space hero landed in a clear space and was immediately wrapped in steel cable. Ochaco stood with her arms outstretched, the mechanisms on her arm had worked perfectly.

Todoroki smiled and walked over to the restrained hero. Thirteen spun around quickly, unwinding themselves from the steel cable.

Todoroki fired several chunks of ice from his arm. Thirteen absorbed them all.

'They have such a powerful quirk… and they know how to use it…'

"OCHACO! BATTLE PLAN C!"

Ochaco nodded and tapped Todoroki's back with her hands. He immediately felt gravity lose its hold on him. At the same time, he generated an iceberg below him, launching himself skyward. Ochaco deactivated her quirk. Todoroki came down in a storm of fire.

Thirteen readied themselves for the attack, but then the fire went out.

"What are you-?"

Todoroki grinned. "Made you look."

Thirteen turned around to see Ochaco with two massive chunks of Ice floating at her side. With a tap of a finger, her cables lodged themselves in the ice.

"Team move. ICE FLAIL!"

Ochaco reared back and threw her arms forward. The two chunks of Ice rushed Towards Thirteen, who barely managed to carve a hole in the ice to dodge through.

As the space hero escaped the ice, they felt a pressure on their wrist. Thirteen turned to look at Todoroki, who had just captured her with the handcuffs.

"The Heroes have passed! On to the next fight!"

"Nice job Ochaco." Todoroki smiled.

Ochaco smiled, before throwing up.

Mirko backflipped as Tomura lunged at her shoulder. His fingertips brushed against her arm, accusing her skin to crack.

"Damn Shigaraki… you're good!"

The villain grinned. "Yeah… you can stop going easy on me now."

Mirko grinned and became a blur. Tomura blocked her kick with ease. "Fast… As fast as Eraserhead…"

"You're stronger than you make other people think!" Mirko grinned. "You could probably demolish Endeavor in a heartbeat."

Tomura chuckled as he blocked another attack. "Been training with Nomu's since the tender age of six. Fourteen years now…"

"Huh. You think you could beat Izuka?"

Tomura cackled loudly. "Her? I'd put up a decent fight, but I'd be put in my place real fuckin' quick!"

Mirko threw a punch, which hit Tomura in the shoulder. The blow simply bounced off of the villain. Tomura took the chance to sweep Mirko's legs out from under her, but his kick bounced off.

Mirko leapt back and fell into a defensive stance. "You're fun to spar against… These Nomu of yours must be really tough to make you like this."

"They used to be… but now I'm stronger."

Tomura blitzed forward faster than Mirko could perceive. A hand was suddenly on her face. Then Tomura gasped.

"Hey. You okay?"

Tomura drew his hand back. His quirk hadn't activated.

"I think… I think I did it…" The man said. His eyes glinted. "My skin is tingling. I can feel a switch now. Not only in my hands, but my feet… I can turn it off…"

Mirko grabbed the man's hand. Her hand was left undamaged. "You did it."

Tomura's eyes sparkled. "I can touch things without the gloves now…"

"Congratulations." Mirko smirked. "You wanna call it a day?"

The villain nodded. "Yeah… I want to see the look on Oboro's face when I control it…"

"Go. I'll head back to my office too."

The villain walked out of the room. Mirko sighed and walked into a portal that had appeared beside her.

She wasn't sure why, but she felt very tired.

Izuka yawned as she walked home with Toga. It had been a long day. From taking tests, to giving tests, to then making support items. The couple was tired.

Hatsume had headed back to her home early.

Now, Toga and Izuka stepped slowly down the sidewalk. They eventually made it to the warp point. From there, they went to the vanguard base. Mirko's door was closed, with a "Do Not Disturb" Sign hanging from it.

Izuka and Toga yawned and walked into their room. Izuka had a few things to do before falling asleep.

First, she brought out the information Nezu had provided her and inspected it thoroughly.

Apparently, Izuka would be stationed with two teachers at all times.

'I'll need a way to get out of their sight…'

Izuka looked at the schedule, but decided it was useless. Nezu was getting suspicious, why else would he station her with two of the staff members?

Izuka gave a tired yawn. Toga whined from the bed.

"Izukaaaaa…"

"Hm…"

Toga puffed her cheeks out. "Cuddles…"

Izuka rolled her eyes. "Really?"

"What do you mean really? Snuggle me…"

Izuka smiled and moved to the bed. She crawled in behind Toga and wrapped her arms around the blonde. Toga gave a sigh of contempt and relaxed into her hold.

"I wuv you…"

"I love you too… my little vampire…"

Toga giggled at Izukas name for her. "I'm the vampire… you're the bunny…"

"That's right…" Izuka smiled.

The scarred girl felt her eyelids close. She drifted to sleep.

Izuka and Toga awoke to the sound of Mirko's shout. They both looked at each other, before leaping out of the bed.

Both girls dashed down the hallway to the Bunny's room and threw the door open.

"Bunny? What happened?"

Mirko sat in the center of her room. Her eyes wide. Her ears were now way longer than they had been. They hung down to her waist. Her legs were fuzzy and grey. Her feet were larger and clawed. Mirko's face had grown cute little whiskers. Her nose twitched repeatedly.

"What is this?"

All Right. That's the chapter. Mirko's changed. This time it's her quirk.

I wanted to give Tomura some control… His second evolution will give him the decay wave. As for the other double evolution, that's for Mirko. I have her quirk planned out to be badass!

So yeah… End of the Midterms… Tomorrow is the camp prep…
