Chapter 45

Christian

Waking the next morning Ana was lying on his chest his wings still wrapped around her, last night had been fucking incredible, she was made for him. To be able to take him in his other form was something he never thought was possible, she was his fucking dream woman.

He was lost in his thoughts when he felt movement against his chest looking down he could see Ana waking up "Morning Kitten did you sleep well?" She smiled and kissed his chest.

"Mmmmm yes I did, did you?" She had her eyes closed and the sweetest smile on her face. He was such a lucky fucker to get to wake up to her every day for eternity she was his world.

"I did thank you beautiful. We should probably go and check on the babies." At the mention of the twins she was sat up stretching. She was so fucking gorgeous, if they didn't need to check on the twins he would be taking her again, he could never get enough of her.

He watched as she glamoured on clothes and climbed out of bed before he did the same changing back to his human form. They both walked into the bedroom seeing the twins sat up in their crib playing with toys they had obviously glamoured watching a television that hadn't been in the room the night before.

When they looked up and saw them walking in the room the smiles on their little faces warmed his heart. "Well looks like these two got bored of waiting for us to wake up" He looked over at Ana as he spoke to see her laughing.

"Yeah looks like it come on you two lets go downstairs and get breakfast." He watched as she picked up Theo kissing his little cheeks bending down to kiss Abigail who smiled up at her and then looked back at him holding out her hands for him.

He loved that she was still a Daddies girl something he hoped she would never grow out of. He gave Theo a kiss then picked up Abigail who immediately grabbed his cheeks squeezing them together. "Morning princess" He kissed her as she bounced in his arms clearly excited to see him.

As they made their way into the lounge area they came to an abrupt stop as they were greeted by Beal and Huldah "Brother, Huldah why are you here is everything ok?" He was starting to worry seeing them here so early. Until Huldah jumped up excited.

"Everything's good, you do realise you guys are getting married tomorrow?" Fuck he had forgot that it was all happening tomorrow this week had gone by so fast, but that still didn't explain why they were here.

"Yes I know we are, why are you here so early?" Huldah rolled her eyes before coming over and taking Abigail from him then sitting back down. He watched as his daughter rested her head on Huldah's shoulder her little hand stroking Huldah's cheek. Huldah looked up to Ana with her eye brow raised.

"Do you want to tell him what the tradition is for the night before the wedding?" He looked at Ana who looked at him then down at Theo avoiding eye contact.

"Can some one explain what Huldah is talking about please?" Huldah huffed still looking at Ana before mumbling something he couldn't hear under her breath.

"Ana you need to tell him there is no way that I am risking my life by telling him." Ok now he was getting pissed because clearly whatever Ana had to tell him wasn't going to be good. He turned to fully look at Ana who was still avoiding looking at him.

"Fine, but Christian you can't get mad it's tradition." She looked up after taking a deep breath. "We have to spend the night before the wedding apart."

"Well that tradition can just fuck off it's not happening I am not spending a night away from you." He folded his arms across his chest not giving a fuck how he looked to everyone. He was very aware that he was sulking but he didn't care.

"Christian it's bad luck to see me the night before the wedding." He looked at her and wanted to punch something because one look at her face and he knew he would give her whatever she asked for.

Theo reached out for Huldah so Ana placed him down on Huldah's knee next to his sister before she then walked over to him, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Christian I don't want to spend a night away from you but its tradition. Also considering who we are do we really need to risk having bad luck?" She had her eye brows raised in question.

He hated the idea of being away from her but he knew that this was important to her. "Fine but I'm not leaving until tonight." He held her to him never wanting to let her go before turning to face Beal and Huldah "This still doesn't explain why you are here so early."

It was Huldah that answered him never taking her eyes of the twins who were now lying back in her arms drinking milk. "Well we have a few things to go over for tomorrow, things are being delivered today as well, and Beal thought he would come keep you company while we get everything organised for tomorrow. He also had a good suggestion for taking your mind of not being with Ana tonight, Didn't you handsome?" She had still not looked up from the babies and when he looked to his brother he could see Beal looking at Huldah with a look that told him that any fears he had about having children had well and truly gone.

Beal looked up at Christian having obviously heard what he was thinking and with a grin on his face he spoke telepathically so that Ana and Huldah couldn't hear "The darkness won last night!" Christian couldn't hide the shock on his face. Ana was looking at him suspicion clear on her beautiful face so he knew he had to distract her and bring her back to the wedding talk.

"Beal what was your suggestion?" Beal looked from him to Ana and back again before answering.

"Well I thought you might cope better if you got to hand out some punishments so I was thinking we could take a trip back downstairs and do some work. What do you say?" Christian smiled knowing that would be exactly what he needed.

"Good thinking brother." He looked down at Ana who was smiling her suspicion thankfully gone.

A few hours later he found himself sat on the sofa with his brother looking after the twins. Apparently that was the only job that was safe for him to do. After his attempt to help had ended with Huldah screaming at him, running over snatching the dress bag he was holding and hitting him on the arm. He had never been so confused in his existence he had looked at Ana for help only to find her holding her hand to her chest sighing with relief.

It wasn't until Ana had calmed down that she told him that the dress he had been holding was her wedding dress and that it was bad luck for him to see it did he understand a little of what had happened personally he thought all the talk of bad luck was utter bullshit but he knew that Ana believed it so he kept his mouth shut.

The day had gone really fast and he hated that he would have to leave soon. He didn't want to spend the night without Ana or his babies. He had thought that he could spend all day with her but instead he had spent the day watching her run around.

Huldah came in the room carrying more bags of things she was hiding from his view she had made a point of not showing him anything. "Right you two time to go before everyone gets here because Elliot and Ray are dropping everyone of and they will likely ask if they can come with you and well you can't exactly take them where you are going. So up up up." She had put the bag down behind her and was clapping her hands at them both to get them to move faster.

He stood handing Abigail of to her as Ana came in the room to see him before he left. He walked over holding her face just to look down at her. "I'm going to miss you so much. Are you sure I can't stay with you tonight?" She smiled up at him shaking her head.

"No but just think the next time you see me I will be walking down the aisle to become your wife." He couldn't stop the smile on his face at that image.

"I will be waiting for you baby, I love you so so much and after tonight I never want to spend another second without you or our babies." He leaned down to kiss her for the last time before turning to kiss Abigail then Theo who was now in Ana's arms. He fucking hated this so much.

With a huff he shimmered out as he heard the arrival of the elevator. He actually felt sorry for the poor fuckers who were awaiting his judgement tonight he would show no mercy. He was pissed of and they would pay the price.
