Just Tell Me!

Red coloured Harry's vision as he glared at his so called mate who had the gall to stand in front of him covered in dirt with a sheepish look on his face after so many years. The last time Harry had seen Bane was when he was only twelve years old and they had watched the sunrise together and now he was sixteen, with a creature inheritance of a Centaur and Bane comparing his eyes to a gem.

"You need shampoo, and soap," Harry said in a flat tone as he ignored the silence that fell around him. "You smell like a dog."

"But I had to get permission from the Supreme Court, and is there not a saying that we fell in love together all those years ago and now we fall in love deeper with each other because of how long we have been apart?" Bane said as he gulped nervously while removing a random twig from his horse tail. "I know that I have not been present for a lot of your time when you have been in the humans stone castle but I did not want you to think of me as a parental figure or a older brother."

"And this has nothing to do with the fact that your precious stars blankly state that my destiny really began to start to bite around the time you disappeared?" Harry snapped out angrily causing Bane and half the Great Hall to flinch. "I don't know who I am to you, what am I to you?"

"You are my mate Harry, my beloved Harry who I came back to" Bane answered as he finally latched onto his mates true mood. "I have come back for you, I never abandoned or forgotten you or-"

"Nor did you get yourself or you're heard caught up in the war that I was forced into!" Harry snarled out causing Bane to take selves steps backwards. His hooves echoing on the floor of the Great Hall loudly due to the deadly silence. "You never seemed to take into consideration that at that time I was only a foal myself! I had never received any training like the foals in your heard does-"

"Our heard," Bane said only to pale as Harry shot him a dark look before turning his back on him. "Harry I-"

"It is only because the war is over, your heard is safe, and I am no longer a human that you decided to come back," Harry said stating the obviously which in turn caused Bane to wince at the truth. "Tell me Bane, if the war was still going on or if I was a human still...when you found out would you be here standing in front of me in the Great Hall asking for me to be your mate? Or would you of turned a blind eye and made sure we never saw each other again."

"Harry...my beloved..."

"No Bane, I am not going to listen to any words covered in honey," Harry said sharply as he gave Bane a dead look over his shoulder. "Answer my question...and it better be truthful, honest, and acceptable or else you can say good bye to me forever."
