"Levi, calm down," Eren said for the fifth time while he raked his fingertips on his mate's scalp.
They were both in the tub after the catfight. This was one of the reasons why the rooms in Rose Wall were so expensive. It was not just a normal room with a simple bed. No. Carla aimed for comfort and luxury, each room had its own little kitchenette, sitting area, a bathroom with a tub, and a king-size bed with a comfy mattress paired with the softest pillows.
Eren kept going over to Levi that everything was fine. Growing up in Rose Wall, Eren learned that brawls and catfights were common. Either way, his mother benefitted from it. If there were brawlers and end up damaging anything, they had to pay double. While petty catfights were a different story.
"How could you possibly said that?!" Levi hissed.
"Because I know what's the system here. Those things happened."
"Really?" Levi looked over his shoulder and studied the brunette.
"Yes." Eren knew that getting Levi a bath would calm the raven and hopefully listen to him.
"So, it's normal that I beat up half of the workers?" Levi arched a skeptical brow at him
"My mom usually set up a little catfight to add drama when the days were dull. Customers really liked it and give extras to them, especially to the workers who were 'injured'. It was all but an act."
"What about your best friend?" Levi looked away.
Eren sighed and held the raven close. "Armin set you up and I can't believe he still did it even when I told everyone to back off."
Levi was silent while they got off the tub and changed into some fresh clothes. The raven settled on the bed, laying on his side. He remained silent, deep in thought.
Eren laid next to him, his front flush on Levi's back as he spooned the smaller male. "Talk to me Levi," he encouraged, trailing butterfly kisses on the raven's bare neck.
"I can't believe I hurt a lot of people," Levi said with a quivering breath. His blank face crumbled down and was replaced with horror and guilt.
"You were so great, I'm so proud of you."
"No," Levi hissed and elbowed him. "Even when I let them taste of their own medicine, I don't feel... happy."
"Are you feeling guilty?"
"Yes? No? I'm not sure what to feel..."
"Well, then remembered that they poked you first. What you did was pure self-defense."
"I know but..." Levi turned to lay on his other side so he could properly face his husband. "Where were you?"
Eren's frowned.
"Why didn't you help me?" The raven hiccuped. "Why are you hanging out with those bitches?!" Levi gritted his teeth, he turned around and kicked the Alpha off the bed.
"Ow!" Eren hissed when he fell on the floorboards.
Levi snatched one of the pillows and bashed it on the brunette's head with all his might. "I hate you! I fucking hate you!" He screamed.
Eren held his arms up to shield his head, he allowed his mate to hit. He deserved it. He shouldn't belittle his mate. After watching like an idiot on the sideline while Levi fights, Eren regretted that he neglected his mate and treated Levi like fragile porcelain.
Levi huffed. His pillow attacks on Eren became sloppy and weak as he could feel the tiredness on his arms and the soreness of his muscles. With a weak growl, he threw the pillow on the Alpha's head with a frustrated groan. "I... fucking hate you!"
Eren lowered his arms, green eyes looked up at Levi. "I'm sorry."
"Armin took away my gun..." Levi whispered. He lifted the covers and hid from the world. "I hate him..."
"Levi," Eren moved to the bed and held his mate close. "I'm sorry, for everything."
Levi pressed his lips while held into his anger. He's tired of arguing with Eren, if he speak, they'll just had to go on and on.
Eren gently rocked him. "I had a long talk with my mother and she helps me realized how wrong I was. I shouldn't keep you inside my embrace and shield you from the world. I just wanted to protect you, you're the most precious thing I had in my life and I'm scared, Levi. I'm scared of losing you." Eren gently pulled the sheet off his mate and cupped his face.
Levi's blue-stormy eyes were glassy from ushed tears.
"Levi, I'm scared." Eren almost cried. "But... now, I'm willing to set that aside and trust you. I'll let you join with me."
Levi gaped and his eyes widen at the brunette. "What? Really?"
"Yes, my mother helped me and after seeing you beat those Omegas," Eren gave him a small smile as he took the raven's hand on his. "You were amazing, you're not just capable of fighting, you were great at it. I shouldn't have doubted your skills."
"You... You really mean it?" Levi wanted to confirm.
"Yes."
Levi was speechless for a moment as he searched into Eren's beautiful green eyes. The tears he was suppressing streamed on his face, he threw his hands around the Alpha and cried harder. "Thank you."
"I don't know how to face the Omegas downstairs anymore," Levi mumbled, voice rough from their recent activity. His Alpha explained everything, his plans with Erwin, robbing the bank, getting information from the Omegas. It all made sense, if Eren didn't hid things from him, then they shouldn't have fought. Now that everything was settled, Levi stared into nothingness while Eren trailed kisses on his shoulder.
"Don't worry about them." Eren breathe.
"As the time ticks, I feel guilty. How do you cope up with this?" Levi quietly asked. He knew Eren ended a lot of lives and fought a handful of people before. Levi doubted if he could pull the trigger on some random scouts that try to stop their plan.
Eren blinked and smirked. His voice dropped and his whole demeanor shifted to something darker. "I just see them as pigs."
Levi audibly gulped but he's not afraid. He doesn't want to be afraid
"Useless fat pigs," Eren raised to hover on top of him, his hand raked on Levi's body as if marking the raven once again.
"T-that's it?" Levi's breathing quickened as he felt his Alpha hands held him on his hips with a bruising grip. Forcing him to lay on his back and grounding him on the bed.
"Yes, but I never forgot where I've been," Eren cupped his cheek, pecking the raven's lip before sitting up. He removed his hands on the raven's hips. "And never let my anger control me that much."
Levi sucked in air, his body heated up at the heavy scent of his Alpha. The room where they were in was small and with no windows. With so little space and no windows for extra ventilation, Eren's dominating scent filled the room. Intoxicating Levi once again like a drug. "Had you lost in your anger before?"
Eren froze, eyes wide in shock. Then he chuckled darkly. "Plenty of time before. Erwin's the only survivor of my rage."
Levi held his breath. Eren's scent was no longer intoxicating divine, it was torture and heavy, forcing anyone to submit. But Levi felt like he didn't feel half of the threatening scent. Was it because he was bonded with Eren?
Eren's smile widens in sinister and he gives off more of his threatening scent. Testing his mate's tolerance. He knew that his mother would beat the shit out of him for doing this in house. Eren knew his scent was sipping on the gap under the door or in any tiny cracks on the wall.
Not only Alphas would cower in fear and run for their lives, but it also applied to every dynamic, and Eren mastered it. He could control it and made it disappeared as simple as a snap of his fingers.
But, it didn't seem to work that much on his mate. Levi was laying on his back, his blue-stormy eyes zoned at him. The raven didn't mirror any fear but his guard was up.
Eren wanted to push it. He raised his hand on the raven's neck and lightly tighten his hold. He had no plans on choking his mate, Eren would like to see how much Levi could handle. An Omega's weakness was his nape but since Eren was bonded to Levi, the raven would relax instead of panicking in fear if Eren applied pressure on the back of his neck. The Alpha just wondered what Levi's reaction would be if he attempted to choke him.
Levi gasped slightly at the touch. When he felt Eren's hands tightened around his neck and with the Alpha's scent strong and heavy, Levi's body shivered and a loud moaned ripped his throat.
Eren froze in panic and instantly his dominating scent was gone in mare seconds as if nothing happened. He quickly removed his hand on the Omega's neck and gently caressing Levi's arms. "Levi? Are you okay? Oh, God, what have I done?!"
"Eren," Levi said weakly as he panted. A blush dusting on his pale cheeks as he glared at the brunette. "You idiot, you forced me into heat."
"I'm not going to lie, the food here is amazing!" Erwin praised as he took another spoonful of his dish. They were eating their dinner in the small sitting area of the room.
Armin washed up while the rest of his wounds were treated by Erwin. The blonde Omega looked decent and better with a simple shirt and slacks yet, his mood was a different story.
Armin picked up his food with annoyance. His blue eyes drifted to the happy Alpha and his annoyance grew tenfold. God, Erwin Smith was annoying and ridiculously naïve.
"Also, I wanted to pass my compliments to the interior designer of this room. It's beautiful!"
"Ah, haha," Armin forced a smile.
They finished their meals happily, except for Armin. He's annoyed, frustrated, and ashamed. He hated Levi, that raven bitch really knew how to throw a punch and with the gun he had, it was a given that Levi knew how to fire it as well.
Armin gritted his teeth and covered half of his face with his hand. That gun that the raven had was brand new and obviously, Eren bought it for him. While Armin held tight on the toy gun that Eren gave him when they were younger and he treasured it dearly.
Now, he felt like a fool.
Erwin silently watched as the blonde Omega's body shook as he silently weeps. The Alpha's not sure what to do because, for him, Levi was on the right side. He knew that Armin liked Eren, it was clear as day the way Armin gazed at the brunette Alpha but the blonde Omega planned on ganging Levi up. Even if Armin's plan did succeed, what good would it do him? Eren would still go home to Levi.
Erwin took off his jacket and threw it on the small male's shoulders before going back to his chair.
Armin his glassy eyes blinked at him. Confused.
"You look cold." Erwin smiled.
Armin didn't answer and looked away but he held the jacket tighter around him.
The silence was killing Erwin and he badly wanted to make Armin feel better at least. "Have you gone to see the ocean before or visit the beach?"
The blonde Omega was silent for a few seconds before he finally spoke. "I never left this place before."
"You don't want to leave?"
"I don't know..." Armin sighed. He had no plans of leaving because he was waiting for Eren, all those years he waited for his visits, and then the brunette Alpha came home with an Omega held hand and hand. Armin rubbed his face to stop himself from crying again.
"You know what? I just bought this cute horse down at Dave's corral. I just couldn't stand cute horses, you know?" Erwin chuckled. "And... I was planning after this, I'll travel down south to visit Paradise Island. They have wonderful beaches there."
"Why are you saying this to me?" Armin glared at him.
"I... I'm saying this because... Oh, I know it sounds selfish but I don't want to travel alone."
"O...okay?" Armin rose a brow at him, confused.
"I traveled with Eren and Levi here, I'm glad that Levi allowed me to join them. But I know that we'll part ways and I'm alone again." Erwin was just so used to having company, that's what he liked after joining the scouts but then he retired... he just realized how alone he was.
"That's..." Armin froze as a heavy scent waft into their room. His hand clutched on his chest, the scent was forcing him in submission and he could barely breathe. He knew this scent.
On the other hand, Erwin gasped. He grasped the table to keep him from falling from his chair. Cold sweat formed in his forehead when he recognized the scent. He knew this scent, it was four years ago but Erwin remembered this toxic musk.
And as quickly as it came, it was gone.
They're both panting, their instincts were drowned in fear for a few seconds. Armin was the first one to recover, he cursed Eren for being such a show-off.
"T-That scent..." Erwin whispered, eyes wide in fear then they quickly switched to rage. He rose from his chair and growled. "I knew that scent. Rogue! He's here!"
Armin jolted at his voice, then it all clicked in his head. Eren's such an idiot!
"What?" Armin laughed, playing dumb. "You must be tired."
"B-But you felt it too right?" Erwin exclaimed desperately.
Armin frowned and shook his head.
Erwin's shoulders fell and he slowly sat on his seat, eyes full of defeat. "I'm sorry, I must be going crazy... I thought..."
Armin sighed and contemplated his options. He wanted to apologize to Eren and maybe to Levi but also, he wanted to protect Eren. After a few minutes of heavy silence, the blonde Omega spoke. "Hey, about going to the beach. Does your offer still stand?"
