The defense system reacted properly to Fred's attacks at the start and pushed back against the shadow legion but the nightmares won the first round.

Naruto failed to stop it and didn't realize as millions suffered from insanity inducing nightmares. His golden chakra and the defense system saved them from developing a trauma or paranoia but those people were unable to sleep as the nightmares kept them awake.

None of them thought it was anything special and didn't give a call to the emergency center. The night passed by without any other issue as Fred wasn't acting without thought but taking it slow. He knew not to target the strong, as they could influence their dreams and fight back.

"I felt a disturbance last night. It seems Jashin didn't like my counter-measure." Naruto said as he stretched his body in his dimension while Sasuke stood on the other side.

He wore a white shirt and black shorts while Sasuke wore a red shirt and black pants.

"Was the demonic legion the only thing, I feel like we are missing something?" Sasuke nodded and asked as he was thinking about what really happened.

"There was a reaction from the mental barrier. It seems that was the real aim but it was too weak to breakthrough Ino's creation." Naruto jumped in place as he got ready for their spar.

"You don't sound too confident."

"Heh, I would be naïve to believe that my enemies were so simple at this stage. There is something fishy, so I got people on the job. Let' see what really went down." Naruto smirked as he cracked his knuckles. He had felt many people around the world experience distress, which shouldn't happen in this setting anymore but there were no signs of any trouble.

Naruto closed the distance between them and tackled Sasuke, who tried to knee him. Naruto slapped the knee and headbutted Sasuke.

That was a distraction as Naruto punched with his other fist and sent Sasuke reeling back because of the immense speed increase.

The stat difference between Naruto and the others wasn't small anymore.

"You got faster." Sasuke felt his rib cage shatter from the impact as he was unable to react properly on time. Naruto's attack was like a wave that grew in strength and it ignored the outside defenses.

But it didn't matter much as Sasuke's damage disappeared instantly because of the high level of regeneration.

"Yes, the project is coming along so the results are showing… Go ahead and boost." Naruto said with a happy expression because it meant such great power will be given to others soon and their chances will increase.

Sasuke shook his head, he was happy for his friend to stand above others but he dearly wished that they could always walk together. They missed that chance in childhood because of his choice and now reality pushed them away.

Just one fruit or just one Otsutsuki and he might stand closer to him.

Sasuke didn't like Naruto sacrificing himself either but understood it. It was natural for the leader. It was natural for them to choose it.

Most people thought his emotions were still very much non-existent but Sasuke was just good at controlling his expression and didn't like exposing them.

He was a logical person. He put logic above emotions. His wives were certainly part of his heart but sometimes he really didn't wish to see them because they acted too emotionally.

The only person who was good at not overwhelming others and understanding others with emotion was Naruto and even then Sasuke got annoyed sometimes with him.

Naruto knew him the best and seemed to play him. Sasuke didn't know how it happened but Naruto had developed a natural tendency to control everything. He didn't seem to realize it but Naruto liked things moving according to his directions.

It wasn't bad. It was something that Sasuke liked, as it was the way of the ruler. Not everyone knew what to do and what was good for them.

With those two skills, Sasuke's mind operated at ten times the normal rate and with the other skill his body was boosted in the most optimum manner.

Before this skill was formed, it was just body enhancement that was dependant on chakra control and quantity. Now, this skill allowed a boost that was unimaginable before as it copied the physical properties of the dragon kings.

"Here I come!" Naruto smiled as he moved at full speed, reaching 20 times the speed of light while gravity around Sasuke increased to dangerous levels that space around them collapsed on itself.

Naruto's base body was now Otsutsuki not human. It was always in six paths mode now and he could increase the level of power by taking more from nature or combining with Kurama.

He was faster than light in the fight with Madara and it had been so long, and so much had been done. Reaching this level wasn't even his best as he could go a lot faster and his mental ability was even faster.

Sasuke knew Naruto's go to moves, his rinne-sharingan spun as he fought against Naruto's gravity control while cutting him with the blade.

Naruto saw the lighting charged blade that was giving off immense heat and the electrocution power of millions of lightning storms.

He leaned back and kicked straight.

Sasuke saw though the move and stabbed down with a Susanoo arm coming out of his rub area, forcing Naruto to react as he pushed against the ground and kicked the blade while the other leg hit Sasuke's leg.

Sasuke pushed with telekinesis to break Naruto's balance and the blade spun in his hand towards the head of his target.

Naruto cancelled the attack and used earth manipulation to spin Sasuke around while going for a kick to the ribs.

Sasuke quickly reacted by covering his body with Susanoo. Naruto's nature manipulation was too high to break, the reason for this blunder.

Susanoo had been mastered to a new level by Sasuke so that it was now human sized armor, so all of its power was compressed and increased to a new level.

Naruto's kick was extremely dangerous and seeing the armor, properties of sub-atomic dismantling and chakra cancellation were applied.

With the armor on, Sasuke was able to block the kick easily as his mind was faster than Naruto's speed and his chakra armor could follow his thoughts.

It was something Naruto found out while experimenting and realized that they could fight even better with just chakra instead of their bodies. The mind moved faster than the body so if they just made chakra follow thought.

With this in mind, even senses were tied to it.

Naruto's danger sense allowed his body to react even when the speed was beyond his reach because energy didn't have a limit.

It was much better than everyone else because his connection to the world was very high, even allowing him to even fool people's other senses.

Naruto saw the armor coming and his response was fuinjutsu. Sasuke felt the signs cover his body and it was chained down while also getting broken.

With that Naruto jumped and gave an axe kick to the kneeling Sasuke. It hit the shoulder region and the planet fully collapsed from the collision.

It was already done for after the small skirmish and Naruto's use of high level of gravity but this was killer.

Sasuke felt his shoulder region shatter but got his freedom before he was hit by the Rasenshuriken. Teleporting behind Naruto, he was saved from the attack and retaliated in turn with a dark energy slash.

It was the mixture of soul attacks, Amaterasu and his chidori.

It was an attack that stuck to the target until it was completely erased from existence. The damage done to him was undone by reality warping and Sasuke even tried de-buffing Naruto with his ability.

Naruto cancelled it instantly and disappeared from sight as Sasuke was hit by the Rasenshuriken that teleported on to his body.

Naruto's attacks don't miss unless you can cancel his space manipulation.

Sasuke realized his senses had been fooled into believing that he had cancelled the space function. Naruto had blocked space so he was unable to teleport and had to block it.

Using the chakra barrier, Sasuke tried to absorb the attack and managed to cancel it out before it overwhelmed his defense.

Naruto's chakra had anti-absorption qualities so it was extremely harsh when trying it during battle.

Suddenly Sasuke felt that Naruto's speed increased and realized it was time acceleration on his body. Before he could register anything, Sasuke felt Naruto's spear pierce through his body instantly and left a huge hole on the left side.

His heart was destroyed along with the lung and the healing had been blocked. People at their level only used the body as a vessel, as the soul was the most important thing.

Sasuke utilized his armor and he was able to heal up using the magical tech. The Susanoo was super imposed upon his metallic mech armor and all his powers were boosted.

"Let's start for real now." Naruto muttered as he was covered in golden energy and more nature energy was absorbed. He smiled and spun his red blood like spear called the Gae Bolg that never missed, blocked healing, did soul damage, boosted his powers, boosted his attack speed, blocked energy and poisoned energy.

It was the Ultimate weapon made for Naruto with the skills of all the experts combined and it was heavy as the planet, but Naruto swung it like it weighed nothing because of his immense strength and weight control.

Seeing the response to the story, I don't think I am going to post anymore. It is disappointing, discouraging and depressing.
