A/N: Hello to everybody who cares enough to read this!
I have been struck by sudden inspiration (fleeting inspiration? we'll see) to rewrite this story in something of a new direction and with tighter plotting. It's been almost a year since I posted the last chapter here, and I really wasn't happy with the way things turned out. Writing this, I was completely winging it and plotting things as I went along, which made for a lot of little (big) mess ups.
Hoping that the second time round will be a bit better.
