Dear Diary
Asia Argento walked briskly through the halls in her light pink night gown. She was going to ask Issei a question about the triple marriage before he went to bed. Normally, she would be in there anyway, but Rias had told the other girls that it was alone time for the new wives. She continued her journey and found Koneko also waiting by the door.
"Good evening, Koneko." Asia smiled to the young Neko.
"Not really."
"Why not?"
"I had a bad dream. I know it seems childish, but I still get nightmares about Issei's transformation. That day was hard on all of us. And… and…"
"You're worried that you'll lose control too?" Asia finished.
"Yea, something like that." Koneko frowned, her little white ears falling.
Asia wrapped a comforting arm around the other girl. "I'm sure he'll see you. I know how much he cares."
Another set of footsteps approached the two girls. "Why are you standing here?"
"Hello Ophis. Nice to see you out and about." Asia flashed a smile to the mighty dragon. Ophis had shut herself in her room to learn about the human world while Issei was with his girls.
"Yes, I have a question for Issei about a certain book I was reading."
"Maybe I can help you." The young blonde grinned and took a look at the book that Ophis had. (That rhymed a lot).
"It's a book on human reproduction."
Both the ex-nun and the young Neko's cheeks flushed at that comment. Neither had experienced that part of life, although they knew what it was.
"Perhaps we could get Rias to explain it to you." Koneko offered.
"Issei said that if I had a question, to come to him." Ophis deadpanned.
Asia's nervousness about the topic was starting to get to her. The closest that she'd ever come to doing things like that, was when she and Rias used to battle over Issei's attention. Luckily, the door opened and revealed Issei.
"Hmm. It would seem that I have a few late-night roamers." He chuckled. That laugh was always enough to make Asia smile. "Who shall I assist first?"
"Koneko was here first." Asia shied away for a moment, believing her reason was less important.
"Okay. What did you need Koneko?"
"I had a nightmare about the day you transformed." Her eyes showed her embarrassment.
Issei thought for a moment. "If you wait here while I help these two, I can help you."
"Okay." Koneko's ears perked up and her tails swished.
"So, who's next?"
"Ophis had a question about a book." Asia mentally kicked herself for not going second.
"What question?" Issei turned his gaze to the loli in front of him.
"I was reading a book about human reproduction, and I had a question about a…"
"Then it's probably best that Rias come help you understand that." Issei tried to avoid the topic. Asia reasoned that it wasn't that he didn't want to help, he was just uncomfortable speaking on the matter.
"Ok." Ophis returned to her room to wait for Rias.
"And Asia. What did you need?" Issei's grin made her heart flutter.
"I-I don't remember. I'm sorry." Her eyes hit the floor. She was wasting his time, or so she thought.
"Don't worry about it. Just come find me when you remember." He leaned down and kissed her forehead. "Now, kitten. How about we go fix your issue." Issei picked her up and set her on his shoulders. "I'll stay just until you fall asleep, okay?" She may be one of his fiancés, but it was fun to treat her like a little kid sometimes. Since her small stature allowed for such treatment.
"Okay." The two entered Koneko's room and shut the door leaving Asia in the hall alone.
Eventually, Rias stepped out of the master bedroom. She found Asia sitting on the floor by the wall.
"Hello Asia. Why are you in the hallway?"
"I had a question for Issei, but when he asked me, I couldn't remember." She put her head in her hands.
"Could it be about the wedding plans for you and the others?" Rias asked as she sat down next to her.
"That's it! I was going to ask where the wedding was going to take place. A church seems a little small for a triple wedding." Asia smiled, but it vanished when she thought more about it.
"Where did he go anyway? I heard him go out, but he didn't come back."
"He went with Koneko to her room. Something about a nightmare." Asia thought about the times where he would help her when they were younger. He was the only one to bring her comfort when she had nightmares about Raynare and Freed.
"I can never tell if he's trying to a big brother to her or something else." Rias sat in though for a moment. "I remember him being like that with you. Always treating you like a little sister, not a lover."
Asia frowned, a sight not befitting her face at all. "Why did he do that?"
"Why did I do what?" Issei asked as he joined the two in sitting by the wall. "Oh yea, before I forget. Ophis had some questions about a book she has. Could you help her out Rias?"
"Sure. Good luck Asia." Rias winked and made her way to Ophis' room. Since Le Fay had given her room to Ophis, she was bunking with Nekomata sister's.
Issei moved closer to Asia as she sat on the floor. "So, did you remember your question for me?"
"I-I think I did." She took a breath to calm herself. "Why did you always treat me like a little sister? You knew how I felt about you." This wasn't the question she came to ask, but it was the one that was on her mind.
He sat in thought for a moment before he pulled her up to sit on his lap. "It's simple when you think about it. You were a member of the church. That meant that you had never really been subjected to impurities and stuff like that. I wanted to keep you that way. I didn't want to make you feel like you had to force yourself to do anything to match Rias or Akeno."
"You just wanted to keep me myself?" His words had gotten to her. So much so that tears stained her cheeks.
"Yea, that about sums it up."
She fell back into his chest and nuzzled her head under his chin. "I wish I knew that earlier. Then I wouldn't have made a fool out of myself."
"You didn't make a fool out of yourself Asia." He leaned up and kissed her head. "You were just trying to make sure that you got some of my attention too. I can't really blame you for that."
"But, what about all those times I interrupted you and Rias? Don't you hate me for that?" Her eyes welled up as she turned and buried her face in his shirt.
"I could never hate you Asia. Was it annoying? A little bit. But I know where you come from. I know how you grew up. While some could see it as infuriating. I saw it as adorable. You came to me to make sure that I was doting on you too. Your timing could have been a bit better, but I don't care now." He pulled her face from his chest to look up. Her mind was racing with all kinds of emotions. Most of them, love. "I love you Asia. I can't wait to marry you."
"Then don't wait." Her voice was small and quiet.
"What?"
"Don't wait to marry me." She squeaked out.
Issei wrapped his arms around her back and pulled her to his chest. "I think that has something to do with the original reason you came here."
"Huh?"
"You weren't sure whether you wanted to do a triple marriage or not. You wanted to have your own special day with me. That about sum it up?"
"Yes." Her eyes were still leaking as she held his hands. "I'm so selfish."
"It's okay to be selfish every once in a while, Asia. I don't see why you can't have your own day. Just me and you." He patted her head and held her. "If that's what you want, then that's what you'll get."
"But it feels like I'm leaving Irina and Xenovia out." Asia cried as she fell back into his chest. "I don't know what to do." She bawled as Issei rocked her. Eventually, Rias came back.
"I can't believe you had me explain the bird and the bees to a Dragon god." Rias shook her head.
Issei just laughed at his wife as he continued to hold Asia. "Well, you can say that nobody can ever do that again."
"What happened to her?"
"She was just getting stuff off her chest." His eyes went back to the blonde in his arms that had managed to fall asleep. He then relayed the information that Asia had told him.
"Then, as your punishment, you have to take her back to her room and explain everything she couldn't to the other two." She huffed and placed her hands on her hips.
Issei carefully stood with Asia in his arms. He maneuvered her so that she lay bridal style. Her arms instinctively wrapped around his neck. "I planned on doing that anyway." The walk to the church trio's room was quiet except for Asia's light snoring.
Irina and Xenovia were getting ready for bed and talking about what their wedding would be like. Irina wanted a traditional wedding in a church surrounded by friends and family. Xenovia wasn't sure what she wanted to do. She also wanted a traditional wedding, but she didn't want to copy Irina.
A knock at the door interrupted their conversation.
"Come in."
"A little help?" Issei's muffled voice came from the other side.
Quickly, Irina ran across the room and opened the door to find Issei standing there with a sleeping Asia in his arms.
"I can see you have a bit of an issue." Xenovia chuckled as she witnessed Issei maneuver his way through the room to the pink bed that Asia claimed as her own. It wasn't too terribly long ago that he had spent the night there with her.
"Yea, you could say that." He carefully and gently laid the girl down on her bed.
"She left here saying that she wanted to ask you about the wedding. She never said what for." Xenovia stood to put her phone on her bedside table to charge.
"She's not sure whether she wants to do a triple wedding with you guys or just a solo one." Issei never looked up from Asia's sleeping face. "She was worried that you guys would see her as selfish for wanting to do it alone."
Irina sat on the office chair next to her desk and held Asia's hand. "There's no need for her to fret over something like that."
"Yea, we don't really want to do the triple wedding either." Xenovia added as she hopped back on her own blue covered bed. "I don't think that Sister Griselda would be happy about me doing it that way."
"Michael might not approve either." Irina laughed nervously. She was okay with doing the triple wedding, as long as Asia and Xenovia were the other two.
Issei turned to face the two swordsmen. "It's not about what the other's think. It's about how the both of you feel about it. If the two of you want to do it together, then we can do that. If you want your own day, then we can do that too."
Irina returned to her own bed. After a quick look at her phone, she saw her lock screen was a picture of her, Asia, and Xenovia in Kyoto. She wanted more than anything to be with them for the rest of her immortal life. But she could live with doing this one thing by herself. "I think we should do them separate. Maybe in the same time span, but separate."
"I'm okay with that. Just discuss a time between the three of you and we'll make it happen." Issei stood and kissed both girls goodnight before leaving. 'The question remains, which one will get pregnant first?'
