Amity was pacing back and forth in the Manor.
"Amity, calm down." Odalia said.
"I can't calm down! There is so much that has to get done and my wedding is only three months away!"
Amity started talking about things like "location" to even the smallest problems like her "Bad Breath". Odalia can't help but crack a small smile. She was the same way before she got married to Alador. Before she could do anything to calm down her daughter, Boscha walked up and pulled her into a massive kiss. Boscha pulled away and moved her tongue around her mouth.
"Your breath is pretty good to me." Boscha said.
"Boscha, this is serious!" Amity said.
"Which is why I'm here, so you don't go all 'Gay Panic' and have a complete breakdown."
"I don't have Gay Panics... anymore."
Boscha smiled. She knew something about Amity, making her think of Luz in... interesting ways, made her get a bloody nose.
"You know what I like? The way Luz was dressed on our date last night. Remember that amazing, tight, gold dress she wore? You never took your eyes off of her. Especially whenever she got up to walk somewhere."
Amity turned crimson and a small stream of blood ran out of her nose. Boscha started cracking up and Odalia walked over to Amity with tissue.
"Amity, try to calm down. I was in the same position as you when I was marrying your father. These feelings are normal." Odalia wipes some of the blood away, "Now, try to remain calm, three months is quite a long time."
"B-b-but there is so much to do! We have to get a cake, make sure the castle is ready, I still need a dress! There is too much!"
"Amity! Calm down!" Odalia said, "Everything will be fine. We're here so everything will be fine when you get married."
"Yeah, babe, we're here to help you." Boscha said, smiling at her, "So stop yelling at us!"
Amity sighed; she hopes Luz was having better luck. At the castle, Luz was ordering her guards like a true ruler. Luz looked at her ring and frowned.
"I wish you could be here, mom... both of you."
Luz felt a hand on her shoulder and saw Lilith.
"You know they're both incredibly proud of you."
Lilith pulled her into a small hug.
"Thanks, Aunt Lily. It really means a lot to me that you're here." Luz said.
"I said I would be there for you. I mean it, I'm the only family you have, which means I'm responsible for you." Lilith said, "That being said, I don't think King likes being the ring bearer."
"I'll deal with him." Luz said.
Back at the Manor, Amity looked in a mirror.
"Mom, it's beautiful."
"I'm glad you like it. It's the very same dress I married your father in. Your grandmother spent almost 30,000 snails on it."
Amity looked at her mom and smiled. She walked over and hugged her. Odalia smiled and returned the hug. After over a year, she finally had the trust of her daughter. Boscha watched from a distance, wiping a tear from her third eye. She wishes her parents were willing to be that nice. If she got married, they'd show up and complain about how she could do better.
I need to take a break, because I hurt my arm from all the typing. In order to avoid hurting it worse, I need to stop. I'll be back by Friday. Follow, Favorite, and Review for more.
