Author's Note

This chapter is kind of a filler and I may or may not continue it in the next chapter. I originally wanted it to be more Ellen-focused for a movie chapter, however, she already got a decent number just for her. So in the end, I decided to mix things up and take the liberty to also introduce my other OCs. They won't really come back too many times though. The OCs are for my Aikatsu Galaxy for the most part.

The song, Please from a Gundam Seed Destiny OST, isn't exactly good quality, but it is sung by Kanade and Ellen's VA. I totally stumbled on this by chance and I just had to include it. Anyways, let me know if you guys want me to finish writing the movie or move on with the story.

Chapter 47: Movie Chance, Please!

In the afternoon, Hibiki, Kanade, Ellen, and Ako happen to be free and are running together. As they shout out "Aikatsu" as they run, all four of their phone rings. They reach for their phone and takes a look.

Hibiki "Oh, it's an offer."

Kanade "Me too."

Ellen "What a coincidence, same here."

Ako "Same…"

Hibiki "Let see, it's an offer for a role in a live-action movie."

The other three look at Hibiki "Eh?"

Hibiki looks at them and asks "Did everyone get the same thing?"

Hibiki shows them her phone with the cover of the movie.

They nod and Ellen asks "This is unexpected, but what does it mean to be a live-action? Isn't all movies live action?"

Hibiki explains "Ah, it just means that it is based off an anime or a game."

Ellen nods "Oh, so that's what it means."

Ako "But this movie is a little…'

Kanade agrees "Yeah, I don't know how this will go."

Hibiki "What do you mean? This is a giant robot movie! I'm sure it'll be awesome!"

Kanade looks at Hibiki with awkwardness "Hibiki, are you into that?"

Hibiki looks at Kanade back with confusion "Kind of? I mean, it has giant fighting robots."

Ako "If you say it that way…"

Ellen "Well, I guess it's fine? It'll be interesting with all four of us in the movie together."

Kanade sighs "That's true, then let's go together tomorrow."

Hibiki then gets excited "And let's become movie stars! Ohh!"

The other three reluctantly follow with a boring "Ohh!"

The next day when they visit the studio, they run into the new S4 with Yume arguing with Subaru.

Yume "So you are telling me that this wasn't a setup?"

Subaru "No it is not! I seriously had no idea!"

Yume "Really?"

As the two are bickering, Hibiki and others move over to the other girls.

Hibiki asks "What is going on?"

S4 Ako "It's nothing. It's just the producer is actually Subaru's relative and the role they got is a couple."

Hibiki "I see…"

Kanade "Why is Yume mad then?"

Hibiki then jokes "Maybe they broke up already."

Kanade then starts scolding Hibiki "Hibiki, that's not something you joke around…"

Koharu laughs and says "I don't think that'll happen anytime soon."

Koharu then looks at Yume "If Yume is truly angry and doesn't like it, she would have walked away already."

Rola nods "That sounds like what Yume would do."

Ruka "By the way, what roles did you girls get? Ruka is a mechanic!"

Ellen answers "We just got here, so we don't know yet."

Ruka "Okay, good luck!"

Mahiru "These two will probably be at each other for a while so we'll catch up a bit later."

Ellen "Got it, thanks."

The little Ako then looks at Hibiki and Kanade "Should we get going?"

Kanade and Hibiki look at everyone then nod.

When they reach the staff and the director, they also find Yurina.

Yurina "Thank you very much! I'll inform them right away!"

Hibiki "Hey! Yurina!"

Hibiki jogs over to Yurina with a high five.

Afterward, Yurina asks "Hibiki, what are you doing here?"

Hibiki "That's my question. Why are you here?"

The director then cuts into the conversation "Are you two friends?"

Yurina and Hibiki nod "Yes!"

The director then looks at Hibiki then at Kanade and others "Ah… This is troubling now we are short on actors again."

Hibiki questions "Eh?"

Yurina then says "It's okay, I have more friends. I'm sure they'll be happy to join in!"

Director "Is that so? I hope they are just as good."

Yurina "Of course! Everyone is amazing!"

The director nods "Then I'll be counting on you. As for you and your friends, thanks for coming."

Yurina walks aside and starts making phone calls. Kanade and others walk up as she moves.

Hibiki answers "We are happy to be here!"

Director smiles and looks at his staff "Hey, can someone grab their scripts?"

One of the staff then walks up to them and hands Hibiki and others their scripts.

Director "I looked into each one of you a bit and I think these roles will make things interesting."

Hibiki "I'm… a pilot, yes!"

Kanade "Eh? CIC?"

Ellen "I got CIC too… What is that?"

Then Kanata dressed in a red uniform walks up to them "CIC means Combat Intelligence Center. It plays an important role regardless if you are in or out of battle."

Kanade "I see, so it provides information."

Ako then says her role "I'm… a brat leader?"

Hibiki burst out laughing "Hahahaha, Ako as a brat leader… Hahaha…"

Ako "You are laughing too much…"

Hibiki "But but… Brat leader… Hahaha."

Ako walks over and kicks Hibiki in the leg. Hibiki immediately holds onto where Ako kicks.

Hibiki "Ow ow ow! You didn't have to kick me!"

Kanade stares at Hibiki with a boorish face "You deserved that."

Kanata laughs a little "You girls are interesting."

Ellen looks at Kanata and asks "Oh, right. If you are also here, does that mean the whole M4 here?"

Kanata nods with a smile "Yeah, they invited us as well. I heard that the girls from Neo Venus Ark got invited as well, but they rejected."

Director then says "Yes, which is disappointing. Each one of them had a unique character that would fit very well."

Yurina comes back and looks at the director "I got four of my friends coming. They should be here soon."

The director nods "In that case, why don't we watch an episode while we wait? We may be turning it into a live-action movie, but I think watching an episode will help. Especially when some of you look like you don't know anything about the series."

Everyone looks at each other and agrees. At the same time, Subaru, Yume, and all the other missing people walk in.

Subaru "Oh, are we going to do something already?"

Kanata "We will be watching an episode to get the feel of the series."

S4 Ako "Well, that'll help for sure."

Everyone else joins and the director informs the staff to dim the light. They begin to watch one episode. As they are around halfway through, a girl with violet wavy long hair and a single thin braiding on each side shows up.

She walks over and looks at the episode "Uwaa, I can't believe everyone is watching this episode. The moment Raki comes in with that unit and saves the ship at the very last minute is just so cool!"

She then greets the director quietly "Yo, I'm Minasora Lira! The third-year otaku idol of the Flower Song Class!"

Director nods "Interesting. I didn't think there was an idol that would be into these shows. Glad to have you onboard."

Afterward, Lira looks around and notices the other Flower Song Class students. She walks over and gives them double high five. After a short greeting, she watches the episode with them. A few minutes after it ends, the rest of Yurina's friend shows up. One of them happens to be Suzu.

As they walk over, Suzu says "This cast, everyone here is basically all friends."

Then a black long hair girl with some hair pulled to the back and a butterfly clip that fits onto the shape of her head perfectly looks at everyone for a bit. She then walks over to the director with Suzu and others.

She then introduces herself with a bow "Good morning, I am Hanazono Yumiko of the Moon Beauty Class."

Then a girl with pink hair and a large ponytail to the right introduces herself to "I'm Hayu Mimi from the Bird Theatre Class."

Afterward, a tall girl with blue shoulder-length hair with a silver accent introduces next "Kanomi Kisuna, thanks for this opportunity."

The director "Kanomi… Kanomi? Are you perhaps Kanomi Ringo's daughter?"

Kisuna "Yes, I'm surprised you know my mother."

The director laughs "Hahaha, of course, I do. Rather, people around my age should know. I have actually been listening to her song lately. Probably because I saw Kari's performance a while back."

Kisuna "Ah, that's right. They were in the S4 together."

He nods "Yes, but we can talk more later. As for you, you are Kosei right?"

Then Suzu introduces the last "Yes, I'm Kosei Suzumi. Please feel free to call me Suzu like everyone else."

Director smile "No problem, Suzu. Since we got an extra person, let's bring out that one backup role too."

Then a staff starts to hand out scripts for their role.

Suzu "I see, a pilot. But, I'm on the other side!"

Hibiki jumps in "Hehe, with Kanade with me, I'll shoot you down beautifully."

Suzu smirks "Sorry, that's not going to happen. The one getting shot down is you."

Kanade walks over "She is right. Hibiki, you are the one going to get shot down."

Hibiki quickly looks through the script then shouts out "No way!"

As Hibiki dramatically falls, everyone laughs.

Lira then looks at her script "I see, I'm the ace pilot."

Kisuna "And I'm the captain? Captain as in… Ship captain?"

Lira happily nods "Yep! You got lucky!"

Yumika chuckles then look at her own role "I'm a pilot, I'm not sure what that'll be like but I'll do my best!"

Mimi then cries "Nooo! I'm a pilot too?"

Yumika "Let's do our best, okay?"

Mimi nods silently and Yumika looks at Yurina "What did you get?"

Yurina smiles "I got the team leader. So I'll be fighting out there with you."

Ellen "So that means I'm your CIC, let's work hard together."

Yurina nods "Yes!"

Yume then walks over "Everyone is so lucky. I end up stuck with Subaru."

Ellen checks "Yume is… A princess while Subaru is… A mercenary ace pilot?"

Rola "Uwaa, that bold. That's a soldier getting to marry a princess. That doesn't normally happen in stories."

Yume "We are not married!"

Asahi "You mean yet?"

Yume ignores turns away from the boys.

Nozomu "Well, it seems like the princess is not interested, ace."

Subaru "Oh shut up! Not you too!"

Asahi "Well, I'm still a little jealous. You three get to fight while I'm stuck with the mechanic and CIC role."

Hibiki then asks "How about the Rola and others?"

Rola "I am Yume's bodyguard."

Koharu "And I'm a General."

Mahiru "We basically got to see the other side of Koharu again."

Koharu "Nnn, I don't really want to…"

Mahiru "Hahaha, as for me, I am the other Captain."

S4 Ako "And I am a ship pilot. However..."

Ako flips through a few pages and asks the director "Why is there so little information? And who is supposed to win this final battle?"

Director "Ah, we actually want to make things interesting. So we just outline some lines and events. I will let all of you decide how to end the last battle."

Ako "You want us to ad-lib the whole movie?"

Director "Don't worry, I'll pitch in. But since everyone here is excellent, I'm sure it'll turn out okay. The shooting starts next week, so get ready."

Everyone "Yes!"

Next week, everyone is ready. The movie set is projected with the Aikatsu system

Hibiki "I didn't think the Aikatsu system could do this. I can even touch it."

Director "Hahaha, Neo Venus Ark didn't join us, but Elza let us use the experimental update. Which I am very grateful for. With this, the movie will be more amazing than anything."

Yume "You are right, this is amazing. I told Elza to help improve the Aikatsu System, but… I didn't expect for it to happen so early."

Director "Now then, everyone, let's do it!"

Everyone, including the staff "Ooh!"

Most people get off the set and the aikatsu system begins to materialize the robots.

In space, a battle is ongoing. Three robot units with red trim around the edges of armor are chasing a damaged ship and attacking.

Yurina "Hit the engine! Be careful not to destroy the ship! Our goal is the princess's safety!"

Suzu and Yumiko "Yes leader!"

Three units close onto the ship and as they do, a unit is launched out from it. The unit has a very slim look and is colored mostly in red. It flies out and immediately turns towards the three units and opens fire with its rifle. A laser beam shoots out and Suzu and Yumiko scatter to avoid it. Meanwhile, Yurina blocks the beam with her shield.

Inside the unit, it is Subaru "I guess it won't be that easy. As expected from a pilot of the kingdom."

Yurina clicks her tongue and says "Leave that one to me, you two take care of the ship!"

Suzu and Yumiko "Yes!"

As Suzu and Yumiko circle around and continue to approach the ship, another unit peeks out from the launching exit. It holds a rifle and sneaks a shot at Yumiko. Unable to react in time, the shot hits Yumiko's unit in the shoulder.

Yumiko "Ahh!"

Suzu "Are you okay?"

Yumiko "No, my left is broken."

The one sneak the shot comes out to check on the damage. Inside the cockpit, Kanata pushes his glasses.

Kanata then says "With that much damage, we might be able to manage."

Suzu then points her rifle at the ship's engine "Take this!"

Kanata immediately rushes out of the ship and as Suzu shoots, he manages to block the shot just in time with his shield.

Suzu "He reacts fast, however!"

Suzu puts away her rifle and takes out a beam saber. As she charges in, she notices a few mines floating. Unable to stop, she maneuvers her unit away from it. However, that breaks her posture and gives Kanata a chance. Right before he fires, Yumiko fires her rifle at Kanata.

Kanata withdraws his rifle and blocks the shot with his shield again, Yumiko says "Don't forget about me. I'm not out yet!"

Kanata looks at Yumiko annoyed.

He then looks at his ship and shouts "Oy! Nomu, when are you going to come out and help?"

Nozomu answers "Kan, can you stop complaining? You know I'm bad at piloting, just let me focus on the radar and tossing out mines."

Kanata sighs "Fine…"

As result, they end up in a deadlock. Yumiko stays back and keeps on shooting while Suzu tries to close in to destroy the engine. However, the mines keep getting in the way. If they try to focus on shooting, Kanata can just focus on blocking. However, on the other side of the battle, Subaru is slowly overpowering Yurina.

Subaru took a glance at his ship before he tries to disengage "This guy is good, being able to keep up with me. However!"

He then swings his beam saber at Yurina. Yurina blocks it with her shield, however, Subaru kicks the shield while using it as a springboard to jump away. Yurina tries to switch to her rifle and take a shot. Subaru on the other hand, already switched into his rifle and aiming at Yurina, forcing her to clock his shot with her shield. At the same time, her shield broke with an explosion, and the blast pushes her unit away a little more.

When Yurina recovers, she communicates with Yumiko and Suzu "Sorry! He is heading your way!"

Ellen then cuts it "Yuri team, hold on. I'm getting a large heat reading far away. We can't take it down at this rate, retreat!"

All three of them "Understood."

They turn around and retreat as Subaru returns to his ship. Subaru and Nozomu then watch them leave and after confirming they are gone, they dock their machine into their ship.

After Subaru exit his machine, Yume walks up to him while wearing a sky blue and pink dress.

Yume "Thank you for agreeing to help me. This is the second time you helped me, may I know your name at the very least?"

Subaru looks at Yume for a second.

He then starts walking towards her while answering "Just call me Ace, I'm just a mercenary that accepted your request."

Yume looks disappointed "I see…"

Asahi then shows up "If you are worried about the situation, it'll be fine. There is a ship ahead of us and they should be able to land us a hand."

Subaru "That's good news. In that case, princess Yuno, there should be no problem for us to bring you to your desire place."

Yume looks at Subaru and nods "Thank you."

The director then says "Cut! That's great, take a 30-minute break, and let's continue!"

Afterward, the movie shoot goes smoothly. Everyone seems to have fun while at it. However, the director then suddenly asks a question on the last day.

Director "Does everyone have some time? I would like to spend a little time shooting a special performance clip. Can I ask a few of you to practice a song and perform for us?"

After everyone checking their schedule, the only ones with enough time to do so are Kanade and Ellen.

Ellen "I'm free."

Kanade "Same here, I think I can do it too."

The director "Only our two CIC can perform?"

Ruka "Hahaha, don't worry, they are great idols. Ruka can guarantee! Also, let's all watch the movie together once it comes out!"

The director laughs "Hahaha, alright, why not? Let's do it! Kanade, Ellen, we'll prepare everything so get ready!"

They answer together "Yes!"

A week later, Kanade and Ellen are ready to perform. The clothes they got are similar to that of a military outfit. After they change and stand on the stage, the music starts playing for a bit before they sing.

Kanade starts "Have you heard? My signal."

Ellen "Just look through the front panel…"

Kanade "I sometimes disregard what my heartbeat indicates, is that normal?"

Ellen "My consciousness is scattered, making my heartbeat, what's the reason?"

After a cut-in sound effect that relates to the movie, they continue a few seconds later.

Both of them together "You look at the dream as it flies. Monitors crossing over, do you understand? The message that overflows with love. Our voices reaching…"

Kanade then sings the next part "This time we're…"

Followed by Ellen "Praying for your wings…"

Then both together again "Please, it will heal tomorrow."

They start their special appeal together. Both of them got a ship flying by and another second later, they are in space. After a few beams fly by, they strike a pose as two mecha drops in behind them. Afterward, they continue their performance, until the end.
