It is a little over six months when Shamy first decided to try for a baby. Despite their rigorous scheduling and planning, results kept on coming negative.
Sheldon is feeling dejected, though he did see this coming. You see, they are getting old. He brought up Amy's age and fertility when they still fail to reproduce only to be yelled at. There were yelling and fights being picked on at 4B. Trying for a baby is really stressing the two out.
Seeing himself as a realist, though he works with theories, he slowly informed Amy about starting to try other options. Amy, knowing fully trying to conceive naturally at their age would have low chances, agreed.
After talking with their close friends who made them realized that conceiving is slowly affecting their marriage life negatively, the couple agreed to take a break on their coitus schedule and 'let things be'. To say Sheldon absolutely hate to just be spontaneous in regards to their sexual relations is an understatement.
However, being the great husband that he is, Sheldon picked up the algorithm he used back when he and Amy were just newlyweds. Yes, they can have sex and it still being scheduled! You bet he gave himself a pat in the back with that one.
