Jason's Arrival

True to her word, Lisa was out of the lounge and in the riding ring for her turn in the jumping lesson.

Lisa was jumping Pegasus like a champion, starting off slow and not being reckless, just like Max had taught all of the riding school students.

"Whoo hoo! Yes!" Stevie shouted.

"Go, Lisa, go!" Carole cheered.

Lisa came to her final hurdle and flew right over it on the back of Pegasus.

"Champion, Lisa," Red exclaimed. "now, bring Pegasus to a walk!"

Lisa did as instructed, then she stopped Pegasus, and dismounted her steed's back.

"Thank you, Red," Lisa said. "and good job, my beloved Pegasus."

Red spotted Jason entering the riding ring.

"Hey! You there! Boy! You don't attend this riding school," Red called. "why are you here, anyway?"

"An old friend of mine from camp called me, she needs my help solving a mystery." Jason answered Red.

"I see." Red said to Jason.

After the lesson, Jason met Lisa out in the riding ring.

"So, Lisa," Jason said. "tell me about your case."

"To start with, about a month back, someone trashed Pine Hollow's lounge, and before we even recovered from that, somebody actually burned part of the Cross County Pony Club stables, a friendly rival of ours, we're trying to figure out who did it and what the connection to the Romani clans in the area is." Lisa replied to Jason.

"Got it, any suspects?" Jason asked Lisa.

Before Lisa could answer, Jason was apparently knocked out of the saddle, Lisa let him borrow Pegasus since Pegasus felt the same bond with Jason that he felt with Lisa.

"Jason, are you all right? Oh you're bleeding!" Lisa exclaimed.

Jason looked and saw a patch of red on his shoulder.

Jason sniffed the red patch, "Wait this isn't blood, it's paint!" he exclaimed.

Lisa immediately turned and leveled a death glare at Stevie's brothers, Chad, Alex, and Michael who were sitting with Murray and trying to hide something behind their backs.

"So help me, if you have what I think you do behind your backs, you are in so much trouble!" Lisa warned the three Lake boys and Murray.

Stevie's brothers and Murray high tailed it out of the riding ring.
