They finished removing Rexs chip Anakin Obi Wan and I held out breathe as he exited the surgical tank.
"How do you feel." Anakin asked
"Like me sir." Rex said.
"The council is going to analyze this with some of the clone medics. Then we will decide if it's safe to remove everyone's chips" Obi Wan said. Rex nodded.
"Until then you will be under close supervision" Vokra Che said."no sparring no missions nothing but bed rest."
"I'll come see you later I have to go speak with the council and a couple of senators." I said. I gave him a quick pat and took off with Anakin and Obi Wan.
"This must be done discreetly if the chancellor catches wind of this we would all be thrown in jail or killed."Obi wan said
" I know that Senator Amidala would be on board with this as well. As will her allies in the senate."I said we stepped into the council room.
"Master Che has begun her investigation on the chips until then we must go through the information Lillee gathered on Kamino." Windu said.
I pulled up the holo of Nala Se and Lama Su with the cloaked figure they call lord Tyrannus.
"Know that voice anywhere I do. That is Count Dooku"Yoda said. I flipped through all of the data I stole on Tup and Fives.
"So Fives was right this is a seperatist plot." Ti said.
"The chancellor must be inline with them it explains why we aren't getting anywhere in this war. "Plo said.
"We haven't determined fully what the chips are for but it's full of different types of orders we've picked out about ten of them including some self extermination orders." Che said stepping in with a data pad.
" How dangerous would it be to remove them?" Windu asked
"We won't know for sure until we finish our monitoring of clone Captain Rex." Che replied.
" Speak to Senator Amidala we will soon." Yoda said.
"Out of her allies I feel it would be beneficial to also speak to Senator Organa and Senator Chuchi " Anakin said.
"I'm worried about what could happen should the data be deleted." Mundi said
"Don't worry about it I've got backups everywhere." I smirked softly
"Paranoid much" Anakin teased.
"Comes with the job description. Besides I grew up around the kaminoans."I elbowed him lightly.
"Go to the senate you will stay away from the chancellor if you can." Yoda said
Anakin and I nodded. We were dismissed. We split up and got dressed in something more formal and walked down to the hangar
"I'm driving" Anakin grinned
"No no your not. Last time I got in a speeder with you I threw up."I slid into the driver seat.
"It's not my fault you have a weak stomach." He grumbled
"That's funny because I could have sworn that was the only time if thrown up in years" I mocked flying from the hangar.
"Ha ha very funny the 501st says my driving's fine." He rolled his eyes
"And they thrive in dangerous situations and have you met them. I wouldn't trust you with any child ever." I chuckled.
"Well they left me with one anyway" he snarked we came to a stop at the senate hangar
" get out dik'ut" I rolled my eyes and hopped out.
"I'll go see Padme you get the other two" Anakin said. I smirked and rolled my eyes
"Got it." I chuckled we walked into the senate building. The Corrie Gaurds wordlessly let us in we split up I headed to the outer ring wing to meet with Senator Chuchi.
"Lillee what brings you here." She asked sending me a small smile she motioned for me to sit
"We need to talk we have evidence that the chancellor has betrayed the republic." I took a seat across from her.
"But how?" She asked
"He's been working with count Dooku and the Kaminoans they've implanted chips in the clones that would make them turn on their Jedi Generals effectively destroying the republics chance at victory. And we have a recording of what he told Arc trooper Fives. He openly admitted to being a Sith Lord." I said.
"Of course I would back you guys who else are you speaking to about this?" She asked
"General Skywalker is talking to Senator Amidala and I after I finish her have to go talk to Senator Organa." I said
"Good also have you heard from Fox he hasn't returned any of my transmission." She asked
"No im sorry I can go check after I finish speaking with Senator Organa. He's having a rough time" I sent her a soft smile.
"Of course don't let me keeps you but inform the council that I am with them on this matter." She shook my hand. I stood up and walked out.
I walked through the corridors to Organas office. I chuckled quietly to myself as I realized what was taking Anakin so long.
"Excuse me Senator Organa may I come in." I knocked on the door frame.
"Of course what can I do for you?" He asked. He offered me a seat and I took it I layed out the files.
"We have proof that Chancellor Palpatine has committed treason. We have documented cases of him actively working against the republic." I said I pulled up the records.
"And you need me for what exactly?" He asked
"Support the chancellors term has been over for about a year and with this evidence he can be arrested and tried for treason but we need someone to step up and fill the role and you would be a prime candidate the senate respects you along with the republic." I said
" I'd have to think about it. who else is in on this?" He asked
"Senator Chuchi as an advocate for the clone troopers due to her relations and Senator Amidala and the Jedi council." I said.
"Ok do you mind if I keep a copy of this?" He asked
"Not at all just make sure you keep a close eye on it." I said standing up and adjusting my suit. He nodded and I walked out of the room and walked back towards Padmes office.
I knocked on the door. Threepio opened the door.
"Mistress Lillee do come in"he beamed.
"Lillee how did it go." Padme asked.
"Good both Chuchi and Organa are with us. I came to tell Anakin he can drive back I have to go find Commander Fox." I said sending the women a soft smile.
"Don't let us keep you"she chuckled I smirked.
"Same could be said for the two of you." I grinned cheekily before leaving.
I chuckled softly as I stepped into the bustling guard center.
"He's not seeing anyone." Thire poked his head up from his paperwork
"Chuchi sent me so I don't think that's going to slide." I knocked on the door. "Open the door or I'll break it down." I warned.
No reply. Thire sent me an I told you so look.
"Kriff off. Go away im busy" His tired voice rang out.
"Open the door Fox." I said" Riyos worried about you and I'm sure the rest of the guard is as well." I took out my lock pick and began picking the lock.
"She's better off..." he said
"Try telling her that" I said unlocking the door. I pushed it open paper work was piled high on the desk one of his pistols laid abandoned on a stack of paperwork and an empty bottle of scotch was on the floor.
"Close the damn door." He grumbled. I stepped into the room the door clicking shut behind me.
"I'm going to call her." I looked at him. I picked up his holo and punched in her frequency.
"Thank the goddess." She murmured." Hey I'm coming down and this time your opening the door." She sent him a soft smile before the holo disintegrated
"It's not your fault. You had your orders." I moved the pistol to the other side of the room." And he was threatening your men."
"I killed a brother you can't begin to image how that feels." He growled.
"No I can't but I know atleast two people who do. This isn't your fault. Shutting it in will only make it worse."
"Get out." He grumbled. I placed a hand on his shoulder before turning.
I left the room and looked at Thire.
"Keep an eye on him till she gets here please." I clicked the door shut. He nodded and I stepped out onto the street. We could end this war. End the merciless violence against the clones against the people.
