"Oh my god! Vicki!" Brittany hugs her cousin. "It's been so long!"

Cara smiles as she ate her popcorn. Elizabeth and Jessica were acting onscreen again. The last time they worked together was in New York, during Elizabeth's play. Elizabeth was a decent actress, shame she didn't act full time, Cara loved her in the Young and Beautiful and Corny O's. She muted the TV when the commercials came on. Both twins told Cara the story would have a twist, Cara couldn't wait.

She looked at her phone. She muted all calls, except her friends, family, Mr Wakefield and his associates, and Nick Fox. Nick was currently in Europe doing his own investigation. He was trying to track down that captain. Cara hopefully he was found, she didn't have hope about her testimony. Nelson Karl, he was out on bail, Cara refused to leave the house, good thing Malibu was huge.

She jumped at the phone. Looking down she chuckled at Elizabeth's text.

Was I okay?

Cara wrote:

I honestly can't tell which one is you acting. You easily rivaled Jessica's acting.

Jessica wrote back from her sister's phone:

I saw that! I'm the actress. Elizabeth is just a guest star. She's gone in three months.

Cara laughed at their playful banter. Glad to see they are getting along again. Her phone rang again, she picked it up before she unmuted the TV. Her face went pale.

Tick Tock. You can run, but you can't hide. SOS. No one can protect you.

Cara immediately calls Steven. She closed the curtains, she was afraid she was being watched.

Steven nodded along.

"Okay. Save that text. I can arrange to track down that text. Don't worry about anything. That neighbourhood is very hard to get inside. Not even a millionaire can get in without strict permission. No. Don't go anywhere. Stay there. I'll tell my dad. Okay. Bye." Phew.

Steven buried his head in his hands. He and his dad were stressed out. He knew Ned Wakefield had high profile cases before, but this case. This can make or break their careers. Nelson Karl, he was on the run for years. Steven had no idea how to help Cara, but he knew she needed to stay hidden. Until Karl was convicted, she had a target on her back.
