Jason On The Team

Later on in the lounge at Pine Hollow, Lisa and Jason walked in.

Jason was trying to clean the paint off his sleeve, "I had to wear my favorite jacket today." he muttered.

"Everyone," Lisa said. "this is Jason Whyte and old summer camp buddy of mine and one of the best sleuths I know."

There was a chorus of greetings.

"Hi, gang!" Jason greeted.

"Jason," Lisa said. "I know what will make you feel better!"

Jason grinned, "Do you mean what I think you mean?" he said hopefully.

Lisa smiled and nodded.

"A round of my triple thick chocolate shakes," Lisa said. "get me the chocolate ice cream!"

Everyone gathered around the kitchen counter as they waited for the shakes.

A few minutes later Rafael arrived, he looked a bit tense when he saw Jason in the kitchen with Lisa, especially when she laughed and gave him a playful shove.

A little while later, Lisa handed the paintball gun off to Stevie.

"Chad, Alex, and Michael will hear it from me as soon as we get home!" Stevie exclaimed after hearing the entire story from Lisa and Jason as she took the paint gun, she was angry with all three of her brothers.

Rafael, Lisa, Carole, KC, Melanie, Jess, Stevie, Kristi, Jason, Liam, Phil, Michael, Elle, and Connor were all chilling in Pine Hollow's lounge drinking their milkshakes.

"I didn't do anything wrong!" Michael protested.

"Not you, Mike," Stevie laughed. "my baby brother, Michael!"

Rafael looked at Lisa.

"So, Lisa," Rafael asked. "who is this?"

Lisa looked at Jason and again at Rafael.

"Oh! Sorry, Rafael! This is Jason Whyte, my old friend from Camp Rosewood where we first learned how to ride," Lisa introduced. "Jason, this is my beau, Rafael."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Rafael." Jason said, shaking hands with the Moondance boy.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too, Jason." Rafael said, ending the handshake. "and welcome to our team of gumshoes!"

"I thought the two of you would get on famously!" Lisa exclaimed.

"Tell me." Jason said.

"What is it?" Stevie asked Jason.

"What clues have you found at Cross County?" Jason inquired.

"Just a blue silk scarf and a blue earring that used to belong to my ex girlfriend, Romina." Rafael answered Jason.

"Do you think I could possibly have a look at these items?" Jason asked Rafael.

"That would be impossible, Pal." Rafael said to Jason.

"Why is that, Amigo?" Jason asked Rafael.

"Because, Rafael and I returned the scarf and earring to Romina at the Blue Star clan's camp a few nights ago when we set her up with Valentino," Lisa said guiltily. "so sorry about that."

Jason face palmed, "Way to go, Lisa." he groaned irritably.
