...So...been awhile hasn't it XD

So it's been over a year since I updated this and I owe all of you an apology. I am so sorry it took this long to update. I guess its just...after working on this for so long I wanted to primarly focus on other fics and stuff, broaden my horizons a bit. But now I'm back with this and ready to give you all more Loud 10. I can't thank you enough for sticking along for this long and I hope you all enjoy this.

It was the middle of the night as we bare witness to the most secure prison in all of the state of Illinois. A place where only the worst of the worst criminals end up where they usually serve their sentence, or even stay the rest of their lives. So far the prison was known for never having a single breakout and for all of the prisoners that meant to never come out until their sentence was over.

BOOM!

Until tonight…

The guards screamed as bright flashes of pink explosions occurred in the prison, tearing up the place and sending the guards all over the place and quickly knocking them out. And as the pink smoke these explosions caused cleared, the one responsible for them could be seen. It appeared to be a 16-year-old girl with silver hair done up in a low ponytail. She had pink eyes and purple lipstick and wore a magenta coat with purple at the ends, underneath she wore purple long boots with black straps around them.

The girl smirked as another guard came running at her, but she simply reached into a bag attached to her waist that resembled a face with sharp teeth and took out some strange pellets that exploded in pink flashes when she threw them at the ground. The girl kept looking forward and at a metal door that a guard quickly closed to keep her from getting past, but all it took were a few of those pellets to completely blow the solid steel door off the wall completely. Going down the hallway, the girl came upon a door that was rusted, obviously meant for a criminal the prison wanted to simply rust and wither away.

Reaching into her bag, the girl covered her hands in some glittering pink powder and placed her hands on the door. "Valun Taqu davinicom!" Chanting out a spell, the door was blown off the wall allowing the girl access into the cell. Among the walls of it were newspaper articles and clippings about one person. Lucky Girl. The strange young heroine of Great Lakes City that disappeared as quickly as she appeared. And the one sole occupant in the cell was the person that hated her the most and was the reason they were here…

Hex.

The skull faced magician was floating in the middle of the room calmly and simply said. "Charmcaster." He revealed the name of the silver haired girl that came all the way to bust him out. "I've been waiting."

"Hmph, major jail breaks aren't exactly easy to pull off, you know." Charmcaster pointed out. Even with the magic at her disposal, this was still the most guarded and secured prison in the state with loaded guns around every corner that would put holes in her at every chance.

"You will show me respect my dear niece," Hex stated in a firm tone that showed he wasn't gonna accept any excuses. He's been in this cell long enough and it was time he got out. "Or you will suffer the consequences."

"Yes uncle…" Charmcaster said in a softer tone as her uncle looked back at her with glowing yellow eyes that pierced right into her soul.

"My staff!" The magician demanded. He wasn't at his full power without his staff.

Charmcaster nodded and reached into her small bag and somehow managed to pull out Hex's long staff. Thank God for magic being able to contain quite a lot even in a small package. "Uh, the magic must have drained out of it or something, it doesn't work." Charmcaster explained as she held out the staff for her uncle to take. When she managed to retrieve it, she found that it wouldn't work for her for some reason and was a bit afraid at what her uncle would say or do because of it. "But I swear it's not my fault."

But much to Charmcaster's surprise, when Hex landed on the ground and held his hand out the staff flew right into it, the raven's eyes glowing yellow as the staff was reunited with its holder. "Its powers can be brought to life only in the hands of a master magician." To prove his point, Hex held out the staff and fired an electric beam. Charmcaster flinched and tried to cover her face with her arms thinking that Hex was attacking her, but the beam split into two and diverted away from Charmcaster and struck two guards in the chest as they tried to come in and take care of the two of them. "Now, to find the keystone. The moment of alignment is nearly upon us." Hex then used his staff to blow a hole in the wall of his cell, creating an easy escape route for them. "Once I have completed the ritual and gained its powers, I shall take revenge on the one responsible for imprisoning me in this festering sewer…"

"Lucky Girl."

The sun was bright on yet another summer day in Great Lakes City. The city was bustling with the loud noises of car horns, people yelling, and pigeons trying to get food from people from either playing cute or dive bombing them. Overall things seemed to be pretty normal all around the city…until…

RIIIIIIIIIIIING!

Suddenly alarms blared around one of the banks of the city as a robbery was currently going down as a group of thieves with the stereotypical ski masks. They pushed past everyone outside or threatened to shoot them to get them to raise their hands up and back away. "Hahahaha! Easy pay day boys!" One of the thieves said as they made their way to their get-a-way van. "I swear this job never gets old!"

All the other thieves laughed in agreement as they were about to make off with a fortune. With no cops in sight, this was gonna be a breeze.

"IRON KNUCKLE!"

But the thieve escape route was completely crushed, quite literally actually, a black gauntlet with green circuitry marks on it had completely ruined their van. The gauntlet completely crushed the middle part of the van and made it completely undrivable. The thieves' eyes widened as they backed away in shock as the gauntlet raised up and returned to sender. "Hey boys," A female voice spoke up, getting the thieves' attention. Looking to the source of the voice, the thieves all saw someone wearing a strange black power suit with green circuitry marks all over. A long black ponytail came out of the back of the woman's helmet with a green visor hiding her face, the suit also made her voice sound all techno. "I doubt you took that all out of your account, so I'm gonna put this nicely. Put the money back or get ready for a world of hurt."

"Oh yeah," Not wanting to back down from a heist like this, one of the thieves pointed his gun at the woman and grinned cockily. "And just how are you gonna make us?"

"Hey wait, I've heard of that chick before." One of the thieves pointed out as he suddenly gained a fearful tone and began backing away. "That's the Techno Tornado! She's been busting crooks left and right! M-Maybe we should d-do what she says."

"Well look at that, one of you actually has a decent head on your shoulders." The Techo Tornado stated as she looked at the scared thief. "You should listen to him, trust me."

"What? You gotta be kidding me, like I'm gonna let some broad in a Halloween costume ruin my chance at making it rich!" The head thief said in an angry tone, not about to back down at this point. "Lets see how that fancy smancy suit takes this!" Dropping the bags of money he was carrying, the head thief reached behind and took out a rifle and aimed it right at Techno Tornado. "EAT LEAD!"

The head thief then pulled the trigger of the gun and sent a barrage of bullets towards the superhero. Techo Tornado wasn't intimidated at all and simply rose up her hand and suddenly a green barrier in the shape of a skull appeared in front of her and when the bullets hit it, they were reflected in various directions, harmlessly hitting various walls.

"What the-" The head thief's eyes widened in surprise, but he didn't get the chance to finish his thought as Techno Tornado suddenly speed right in front of him and turned her right hand into a long needle and used it to shock the head thief into unconsciousness.

"So…whose next?" Techno Tornado asked as she turned her hand back to normal and punched a fist into an open palm. The thieves, other than the scared one, all whipped out pistols and tried shooting at her, but Techno Tornado simply started spinning around in place like a top and reflected all the in coming bullets. Once they were out of ammo, Techno Tornado acted fast and transformed both of her hands into arm-cannons and aimed them all at the thieves. With one cannon, she sent out a large wave of water and from the other sent out a powerful gust of wind. Both attacks combined and the thieves were met with a miniature hurricane coming at them.

They were completely helpless and were swept away, now soaking wet as they lay unconscious around the front of the bank. Meanwhile everyone around watching all began clapping, cheering, and taking pictures of the heroine stopping the bank robbery. "Heh, we did good." Techno Tornado waved to the fans as much as she could before hearing cop sirens coming closer and closer. "Welp, better let them take care of this."

Getting out of there with her job complete, a jet pack formed on Techo Tornado's back letting her fly away and over to the roof of a nearby building. Landing, the visor of the heroine's suit went up revealing her face, showing her to be Carlota Casagrande. "Heh, yet another group of thieves taken down by Carlota and Ship." The Latina fashionista grinned as she watched the cops cuff all the thieves she just took down. "We've really been cleaning house lately, crimes been going down more and more. Guess we've really scared the pants off of the other criminals."

"Ship! Ship!" A green ring appeared on the top of Carlota's helmet and blinked a few times, the suit of course being her Upgrade pet Ship. Ever since Carlota took Ship in, and the former teaming up with Lincoln to help save Ship from Zed and the Forever Knights, Carlota and Ship have taken to becoming the hero of Great Lakes City much like how Lincoln defends his own home of Royal Woods.

"Well I think we should head home, shouldn't be anything too bad for the rest of the day." Carlota stretched out and lowered her visor again to hide her face. "Time for some r&r!" Revving up her jetpack again, Carlota and Ship started to fly back towards their apartment building.

After a quick jetpack flight over to her families apartment building, Carlota and Ship flew into her room through the open window. Ever since becoming a hero and training with the Ship suit, Carlota's taken to leaving her window open to easy fly into as she's had some close calls with flying onto the roof. She just had to make a way to keep pigeons or cats from coming in.

Once in her room, Carlota closed the window as Ship melted off her and turned back into his normal dog-like form. "Ship! Ship!" Ship happily let out as he jumped up and down in excitement. Ever since they met Ship has grown extremely attached to the oldest Casagrande sibling to the point where Carlota actually started to understand Ship to some degree. The two had truly formed an inseparable bond, plus it helped that Ship was the ultimate guard dog and defense system all in one.

"Hahaha, abajo, abajo, nino." Carlota laughed as she patted and petted Ship's head, the Upgrade dog happily melting into the pets. "I got your treat." Ship started blinking rapidly in excitement as Carlota reached into her bag and pulled out a little microchip and threw it into the air. Ship let out a happy cry as he leapt up and caught the microchip, absorbing it into his body. "Good boy!"

"Carlota!" Coming into the oldest Casagrande siblings' room was two of her younger brothers, Carl and Carlos. Deadpanning at her brother's refusal to knock on her door to be let in, Carlos quickly went to ship and began cuddling the alien dog with Carl going up to Carlota with a notepad.

"Awww, hi Ship!" Carlos rubbed his cheek against Ship's head with Ship simply purring and yelping happily. While he was the closest to Carlota, the alien dog still loved getting cuddles and hanging out with the second oldest of the Casagrande children. "Did you have a good day being a superhero and flying through the city?"

"Ship!" Was Ship's answer to that question as he leaned into the cuddles.

"Ok, I know you said you didn't wanna capitalize on your heroic efforts but I think I got something really good here!" Quickly making Carlota frown, Carl came up with yet another plan to try and make Carlota's hero persona both rich and famous, but mostly rich. "trust me, with this you're gonna be the biggest thing in the state!"

"Ugh, how many times do I have to tell you NO!" Carlota yelled right at Carl's face, the oldest child having it up to here with Carl's schemes. While in the past, Carlota might have taken advantage of becoming a superhero for the money and fame, but ever since seeing what kind of villains are really out there and getting advice from Lincoln Carlota knew it was best to just be a hero for the sake of being a hero and helping people out and keeping bad guys behind bars. "I told you, I'm keeping my identity a secret and Techno Tornado is gonna be just a hero. Not a rich and famous hero, just a hero. End of discussion."

"Aw come on that's so boring!" Carl argued as he followed his big sister outside her room and tried to push his plans on Carlota. Ever since Carlota decided to become a hero Carl has been trying to make get rich quick schemes centered around Techno Tornado but Carlota shot each one of them down. What was the point of all that hero work if you didn't get any reward? Carlota even turned down an action figure line. "At least hear this one out, it's a real million-dollar idea. Literally! We'll be swimming in dinero!"

Carlota growled in frustration as she got right in Carl's face. "For the last time! No! No! And for the next hundred times, no!" Carlota then started to stomp off.

"…What about the hundred and first time?" Carl dared to ask with a grin.

"NO!" Carlota snapped, making Carl flinch and run away.

"Ugh, Dios mio…" Carlota rubbed her head to try and prevent the incoming migraine. Sometimes her little brother just drove her crazy. She loved him, she really did, but more often than not he was just a huge pain and she wished he would just leave her the heck alone. But suddenly cutting Carlota from the thoughts of her annoying little brother was a bump. Looking, she saw her younger cousin Ronnie Anne coming heading towards her room, the young Santiago's head was down and her hands in her hoodie pockets. "Oh hey Ronnie Anne, how are-"

"Yeah I saw your little heroic show on the news." Ronnie Anne cut Carlota off by informing her that the young Santiago saw Techno Tornado bust those thieves on the news. One thing to note was that Ronnie Anne's tone was pretty sour and she spoke with a grumble. "Soooooo, heroic."

"Um, thanks but I wasn't gonna ask about that…" Carlota shifted her eyes around awkwardly, feeling a bit uncomfortable at Ronnie Anne's words and tone. Carlota didn't know why, but lately Ronnie Anne has been especially down and a bit bitter towards her and she refuses to talk about it. "I was just wondering-" Before Carlota could ask, Ronnie Anne made it to her room and slammed the door shut. "…how you are…what's going on?"

Deciding enough was enough, Carlota went over to Ronnie Anne's door and did the only thing she could do to try and find out what was going on with Ronnie Anne…peak in through the keyhole. Lining up her eye with the doorknob, Carlota got a pretty good look inside Ronnie Anne's room and saw the girl herself sitting on her bed. A saddened look on her face, Ronnie Anne reached under her bed and pulled out none other than the mask she wore during her brief moments of being the superhero known as Lucky Girl.

After seeing Ronnie Anne sigh and look at the mask longingly, Carlota quickly knew what was up. "Oh Ronnie Anne…you miss being a hero too…" Backing away from Ronnie Anne's door, Carlota look down as she pieced it all together. Ronnie Anne wanted to be a hero too but was only able to do so with that charm and she destroyed all of them during that incident with Hex at the graveyard. "I wish there was something I could do for you…"

"Are you a fan of magic? Curious about the mysterious arts?"

"Huh?" In her pacing around Carlota stepped into the living room with the tv on, Sergio and Lalo watching TV together like usual, and it happened to be on a commercial advertising some event that had to do with magic. "What's this?"

"Well if you answered yes to all these questions then do we have an event perfect for yo-" Suddenly the TV clicked onto a different channel by a bored looking Sergio.

"Squawk! I hate this channel!" The bird complained as he was about to start channel surfing but was stopped by Carlota snagging the remote from him.

"No! Go back!" Carlota yelled out as she had to hear more about this event that just might be the perfect thing to help cheer Ronnie Anne up. "Come on, come on!"

As Sergio glared at Carlota, the oldest sibling went back to the previous channel and thankfully the commercial was still on. "Come to the annual Great Lakes City magic convention!" The commercial advertise a big magic based event going on in their very own city! Talk about a convenient coincidence! "We got just about everything magic that you can think of right here! Today only! Better hurry up!"

Smiling widely, Carlota pumped up a fist as she began hatching a plan.

THE LOUD HOUSE

Back in our normal setting of Royal Woods Michigan, we see the all too familiar Loud House going about another summer day. Only now the house had another new member, the Ectonurite known as Ja'Orre. The ghost-like alien had enjoyed living inside the boiler in the Loud's basement so far and really succeeded in making the boiler is own with all of the members of the house enjoying the ghost's company…well…except for Lori who just saw the ghost has an annoying burden.

But we don't open on Ja'Orre right now, for now we go to the man of the plan himself. Currently Lincoln was in his bedroom and putting on his signature jacket before taking something off his desk. Looking at it deeply, Lincoln stared at his reflection in the plumbers badge that Albert's old partner Phil gave him. "Phil…" Lincoln said in a solemn tone as he looked into the badge, his head flooding with memories of how Phil sacrificed himself to send Zed to some place called the Null Void according to Albert. A place where the truest scum of the galaxy are sent to rot. "We're gonna get you back."

Lincoln then clipped the badge onto his jacket, deciding to make it apart of his normal look. After this, he left his room and right as he did so, he saw Lori exit her and Leni's room and lean against the wall next to the door and sigh. "How's Leni doing?" Lincoln asked with a concerned tone. "Feeling any better?"

"Sadly no," Lori let out causing both her and Lincoln to groan a bit. "I still can't believe her and Chaz literally broke up." That's right ladies and gentlemen, you heard it here. Leni and her now ex-boyfriend Chaz had broken up, and ever since then Leni's been a depressed mess.

"Guess these things just happen." Lincoln shrugged as he looked at the door to Lori and Leni's room. Before he was in a relationship he didn't quite get why break ups were a big deal. Teenangers supposedly broke up all the time. But after getting together with Wendy and being in an actual relationship, he got why they could be devasting if they were taken seriously and Leni and Chaz did seem to be a serious couple. "Still, sucks how Leni's taking it."

"Yeah, wish there was something we could do for her, poor girl." Lori frowned as she put her hand on the door. Thankfully Leni got out of the crying out of control phase so things weren't super loud, but the 2nd oldest Loud child still wasn't in the best shape. "Can only imagine how she feels right now, I mean, if me and Bobby broke up I don't know what I'd do."

"I know…" Lincoln whispered as he remembered the time where Lori and Bobby 'broke up' due to an incident between him and Ronnie Anne. To sum it up, it involved lots of crying and throwing things at him. "But anyway, maybe we should just give her space and see if she gets better on her-"

Vrrt! Vrrt! Vrrt!

"Uh, hold on gotta take this." Lincoln was cut off by the vibrating of his phone, indicating that he was getting a call. Stepping back into his room, Lincoln took out the phone and saw that it was Carlota talking to him. Smiling a bit, Lincoln answered and put the phone up to his ear. "Hey Carlota, how's it hanging?"

"Hey Lincoln, things could be better but I think that might be about to change." Carlota explained to him, getting Lincoln a bit curious to what the oldest Casagrande meant by all that. "Long story short, ever since I've become a superhero Ronnie Anne's been a bit down since she misses the days when she was Lucky Girl. But turns out there's this big magic convention being held here that I think could help her out and I was thinking maybe you could come down here and go with us, think that'll help her too."

"Huh, that actually does sound pretty fun." While Lincoln was a bit worried that not only was Leni upset but Ronnie Anne as well, he was happy to hear that Carlota was thinking of a solution for it. It was more than he could say for helping out Leni. "But I'm not sure if I can make it, Leni's been pretty down in the dumps as well."

"Oh no, what's going on?" Carlota asked in a worried tone. While she hasn't interacted with Leni all too much, she was a member of Lincoln's family and Lincoln was a good friend of hers.

"Her boyfriend recently broke up with her." Lincoln explained to the Latina girl, "She's taking it pretty hard,"

"Oh the poor thing, I know how that feels." Though Lincoln couldn't see it, a smile came across Carlota's face as a light bulb appeared in the Latina's head. "Wait! This is perfect!"

"What do you mean?" Lincoln asked in a curious tone.

"You can bring her over here!" Carlota suggested in an excited tone. "I am a pro match maker, I've created like 5 couples in my school last year. You, Ronnie Anne, and your friends if ya want can explore the magic convention while I take Leni to some of the café's around the city to try and set her up and get her out of her funk!"

"Hmmmm, that's not a bad idea!" Lincoln smiled as he had to go with Carlota on this one, that could solve all their problems in one trip. "Alright yeah! Let me call some of my buds up and we can head over there quickly!"

"Alright! See you there!" And with that, Carlota hung up so she could get everything ready on her end.

Lincoln grinned as he put his phone back in his pocket and exited his room and looked right at Lori, "Hey Lori," Lori looked over to her younger brother and rose a brow. "Get the van ready."

"WOOHOO! ROADTRIP!" Suddenly, phasing through the floor, was none other than Ja'Orre who was suddenly all decked out in vacation gear including a straw hat, flora shirt, and a giant camera around his neck. "So when we leaving?"

Thankfully Ja'Orre didn't have to wait long for them to leave as, after Lincoln had called Wendy and Clyde over, those four along with Lori as the driver and a depressed looking Leni all got into Vanzilla and headed over the convention center all the way in Great Lakes City. All the while…

"Are we there yet?" Ja'Orre asked again…and again…and again…

"NO!" Lori yelled in response again…and again…and again…

"Are we there yet?"

"NO!"

"Are we there yet?"

"NO!"

"Are we there yet?"

"NO!"

"Are we there yet?"

"NO!"

"Soooooo…a magic convention huh?" Wendy asked as she tried to distract her and her friends from the ongoing exchange between Lori and Ja'Orre. "That sounds like fun!"

"I may not be the biggest fan of magic, but I do appreciate you guys letting me come along." Clyde said as he smiled at both Lincoln and Wendy. Since Clyde came back and the whole…mutant incident happened he and Lincoln have been hanging out more to make up for lost time. The two best friends happy to go along with each other's activities even if the other wasn't a fan. "But man, I can't believe Ronnie Anne and her cousin are also superheroes! This summer gets crazier and crazier!"

"Welcome to our lives." Both Wendy and Lincoln said in unison with grins on their faces.

"Are we there yet?"

"NO!"

"Are we there yet?"

"NO!"

"Are we there yet?"

"YES! WE ARE FINALLY HERE!"

Much to Lori's relief, she finally pulled into the parking lot of the convention center and as soon as she could stop the van, she grabbed Ja'Orre by the collar of his vacation shirt and threw him out of the van and right into another car. "…Yay!" The ghost happily let out.

"Ok, you all enjoy yourselves. Leni, try and cheer up with Carlota. I'll be trying to nurse my headache as well by spending some time with my boo-boo bear." Lori told them all as they got out of the van, Leni exiting the van with her head lowered. Once everyone was out of the van, Lori quickly drove off as Ja'Orre floated over to the others.

"Aw, I didn't ask what kind of souvenir she would like." Ja'Orre lamented as he watched his 'best friend' drive away…at remarkably high speeds.

"Ja'Orre maybe just…enjoy yourself." Lincoln said as everyone but Leni sweat dropped. "I don't think souvenirs are her thing."

"Heeeeeeey! Aqui!" They heard a familiar female voice speak up to them. Looking behind them, the group saw Carlota, Ronnie Anne, and a new person all heading over to them. The new person was a girl Ronnie Anne's age and was a light-skinned half-Asian girl with long brown hair and freckles. She wore a blue long-sleeved shirt revealing her shoulders, black shorts, pink headband, white earrings, red socks, and black training shoes. "So glad you guys could make it!" Seeing Ja'Orre, Carlota leaned down to Lincoln's ear and asked. "Is that the…"

"Yep." Lincoln answered before he looked over to the girl she's never seen before. "Does she…"

"Nope." Carlota quickly shook her head, stating the new girl had no idea of the antics they all got up to.

"Ok good thing Ja'Orre is in disguise then." Lincoln didn't know how, but somehow no one in Royal Woods discovered Ja'Orre's real identity so long as the ghost alien was in one of his many disguises…even despite the fact that Ja'Orre had no legs and floated off the ground. "Welp, we'll go through with our part of the plan."

"And I'll go through with mine." Carlota grinned before going over to the still depressed looking Leni and grabbing her hand. "Alright Leni! Let's hit the town!"

"Mmmmmm…" Leni simply let out as she let Carlota drag her around.

"That's the spirit!" Carlota then looked back at the kids. "See ya guys later! Text or call when your ready to go back!"

"See ya cuz!" Ronnie Anne waved bye to her cousin before she looked over to Lincoln and his group. "Nice to see you again Lame-o, and company. Clyde, thought you were on a road trip."

"Long story," Clyde sweat dropped and sheepishly smiled as he debated whether or not he should explain what happened to Ronnie Anne. While Ronnie Anne was involved in all the alien and weird stuff, Clyde wasn't sure if he wanted to explain what happened to him as the memory wasn't exactly pleasant to say the least. "But it's good to see you Ronnie Anne."

"Nice to see you again too!" Wendy gave the young Santiago her usual friendly smile as she pulled Ronnie Anne into a hug. There wasn't much Ronnie Anne could do to fight against the hug due to Wendy's immense strength. Heck Wendy seemed to have been even stronger than before! Thankfully the hug was short and ended before Ronnie Anne could start choking and once she was free, the Japanese girl looked to the new face among them. "Whose this?"

After breathing a sigh of relief over the fact that she could actually still breathe, Ronnie Anne moved over to the new girl and put an arm around her shoulder, "Guys, this is my best friend." Ronnie Anne began to introduce the new person. "Sid Chang!"

The girl now known as Sid gave the Royal Woods group a big friendly grin and waved to them. "Hey guys! It's nice to meet all of you!" She said in a quite friendly and energetic tone. "Ronnie Anne told me I might meet some of you today, it's so cool to get to meet some of her old friends!"

"Well it's nice to meet one of her new ones," Lincoln said in his usual friendly tone with the others nodding in unison. "I'm Lincoln, this is my best friend Clyde, my girlfriend Wendy, and this is Ja'Orre!"

As Sid went over to greet each member of the group, Ronnie Anne felt her heart skip a few beats when Lincoln introduced Wendy to Sid, "G-Girlfriend…" Ronnie Anne repeated the word Lincoln used for Wendy. "You two are…a thing?"

"Oh yeah, guess we forgot to tell you," Lincoln scratched the back of his head while Sid was busy getting a hug by Ja'Orre. "Me and Wendy got together not too long ago," Wendy then came up to Lincoln's side and pulled her boyfriend close and cuddled him a bit.

"…Great…great, great, great, great…" Ronnie Anne forced a smile and nodded repeatedly as Lincoln and Wendy looked at each other and then Ronnie Anne a bit confused. "Welp, no time to waste we got a convention to get to! Come on guys!"

Before Lincoln and Wendy could comment on Ronnie Anne's strange behavior, Ja'Orre and Sid started following the young Santiago. "Okie doki artichokie!" Both said in unison with a peppy tone.

Meanwhile Wendy and Lincoln just blinked as Clyde walked up to them, "Everything ok?" The Mcbride child asked with a raised brow.

"Well…we hope so," Wendy said as the trio started to head into the convention center.

LENI AND CARLOTA

"Ok well, how about that guy?" Carlota asked as she pointed to one of the guys sitting at the café they were at. Just like Carlota said, the oldest Casagrande had taken the second oldest Loud to a café that was near the convention center to hopefully introduce Leni to some new guys. Only…it wasn't going so well…

"Uummm…" Leni cringed a bit at the amount of piercings in the guy's ear, overall making her uncomfortable. "Nooo…"

"Ooook…" Carlota sighed a bit as Leni turned down yet another guy. "Well about…him! He's pretty hot~"

This time, Leni didn't even look at the guy as she knew what Carlota was up to and just didn't want a part of it. "Carlota, no! J-Just stop…please…" Leni lowered her head in sadness as Carlota's eyes widened. "Look, I know what you're trying to do but I don't wanna be set up with some random guy. I, like, want an actual relationship where I actually know the guy and he knows me and we actually have a reason to be together."

"I…guess that makes sense…" Carlota looked down a bit with a frown. Thinking more about it, the couples she managed to make at school usual had a 50/50 chance of staying together or breaking up. And thinking more about it, the couples that stayed together usually had both the people in the couple already be close to each other. "Sorry Leni I just…wanted to help…I know what it's like to be broken up and know that it sucks…"

"Yeah…it does…thanks," Leni, for the first time today, smiled a bit as she looked at Carlota. "But I appreciate the effort Carlota, thanks. You're a really good friend."

"Anytime," Despite her initial failure, Carlota placed a hand on top of Leni's. Since they still had plenty of time before they had to pick everyone up from the convention so they might as well just hang out. Trying to think of a conversation topic, Carlota looked to Leni's blouse and asked, "Ya know your blouse is really cute, where'd ya get it?"

"Oh this?" Leni asked as she looked down at her blouse and grabbed it a bit. "I actually made it myself!"

"No way really?" Carlota smiled widely at the information, Leni nodded in confirmation. "Ugh, jealous! I've always wanted to figure out how to make my own cloths but could never get it down."

"Well if ya want I can, like, totally give you some tips!" And so, the two fashionistas started to have some fun talking about their favorite topic, really enjoying the others company. Looks like Carlota was able to help Leni with her problem after all.

MAGIC CONVENTION

Back at the magic convention things…could be going better. Seems that the commercial Carlota saw wasn't 100% accurate, big surprise there, and turns out all the mystic secrets the convention had when it came to the magic arts was just the usual parlor gags and tricks like linking rings, fake barf and poop, and trinkets like that. "Man, kinda expected better if a whole convention center was rented for it…" Clyde said as he wondered through the convention center on his own. He had to go to the bathroom earlier and once he was done decided to check a few things out on his own before going back to the others. Clyde really wasn't a big fan of magic but was willing to come just because he wanted to spend time with his friends…but really this place just reminded him why he didn't like magic that much to begin with. "Ah well, guess I better make the best of-OUF!" However Clyde was cut off by accidentally bumping into someone in front of him, the McBride not seeing where he was going. "Oops! Real sorry about that!"

"Oh don't worry about it, could have happened to any…wait…Clyde?" Much to Clyde's surprise, the girl he bumped into was quite the familiar one. In front of him was a girl with thick glasses like him and had poofy reddish and brownish hair, buck teeth, pale skin, and freckles around her face. She wore a pink sweater with a typical green alien face on it, a dark teal skirt, lavender socks, and brown shoes. This was none other than one of Clyde's classmates and good friends, Penelope. "Wow! I didn't expect to see you here! I thought you were on a road trip with your dads, are you guys stopping by here?"

"Uh, not exactly. I'm actually back at Royal Woods, had to cut the trip short." Clyde explained to Penelope, the girl nodding in understanding. Ever since Clyde and Penelope worked on that Egg Baby project together, the two were really good friends and often talked and did projects together whenever he didn't do them with Lincoln so seeing her here was quite nice. "But it's really nice to see you! I'm here with Lincoln, Ronnie Anne, and a few of our other friends. What're you doing here?"

"Oh I'm visiting my uncle, he lives here in the city." Penelope explained with a smile before sighing a bit and looking at the rest of the convention. "I love him but he's a huge magic fan and wanted to bring me here. Me however, well…"

"Not a fan?" Clyde finished for her, Penelope nodding in response with a sheepish smile. Looks like the two of them had another thing in common. "Yeah me neither, came here just because I wanted to make up for lost summer time with Lincoln."

"Well if that's the case maybe we can spend a little time together?" Penelope suggested as she went up to Clyde and put an arm around his shoulder and pulled the African American boy close to her. "I know you're here with your friends, but it couldn't hurt to walk and talk for a little? I missed out on some summer with you too ya know?"

"Um, w-well…" Clyde blushed a bit at the contact Penelope was making with him. "Sure! T-That sounds nice!"

"So tell me about your trip!" Penelope said in an excited tone as she and Clyde began walking next to each other, ending up getting lost in conversation.

"Ugh! Should have known this place would be a huge bust!" Ronnie Anne complained as she and Sid walked through the convention together, Ronnie Anne feeling like she'd been ripped off harder than anyones ever been ripped off before. She's experienced magic, actual magic, and here this whole place was just a bunch of cheap party tricks anyone could do after watching a youtube video on it. "Can't believe I actually came here…"

"I'm surprised to hear you were into magic to begin with," Sid stated as she paced around Ronnie Anne as the two walked through the convention together. Not once since they met had Ronnie Anne mentioned she was a magic lover. "I mean, we're best friends. We're supposed to tell each other everything!"

Ronnie Anne sighed as she looked down and stuffed her hands in her hoodie pockets. "Sorry Sid it's just…it's complicated…" Memories flashed into Ronnie Anne's mind to when she was Lucky Girl. Saving the city from crime with her magical powers…only to lose it due to having to smash the charm she had and others just like it. And now after finding some alien dog, Carlota was getting all the hero action. "I promise I'll explain to you one day but for now I just wanna get today over with…"

Sid frowned, she didn't like seeing her best friend this upset. The whole point of this outing was to try and get Ronnie Anne out of her funk but it seems it was just making it worse. Looking around for something that might help her friend out, Sid smiled as she spotted a stand labeled 'Magic Jewels.' Getting her friend's attention, Sid pointed to the stand, "Hey Ronnie Anne look at that!" Ronnie Anne looked to the stand Sid directed her to and did raise a brow in interest. "I bet they have some cool stuff!"

"Mmmmm, guess it couldn't hurt to check." Since everything else at this convention was a dud, Ronnie Anne figured she might as well look for a diamond in the rough somewhere in this building. Going up to the stand, Ronnie Anne looked over the table and saw a number of jewelry and stuff. It was nice but…not magical. "Excuse me?" Ronnie Anne asked the woman running the stand. "Do you have any real magical artifacts?"

"What you see is what you get honey," The woman told Ronnie Anne in an Indian accent.

Ronnie Anne sighed and looked over the table more…and saw something that gave her a strong sense of déjà vu. It was a wrist gauntlet with blue and gold patterns over it…and in the middle of it was a strange red charm with markings over it. It almost looked like the charm Ronnie Anne had when she was lucky girl. Putting it on her wrist, it just felt right on her. "I'll take it!" Ronnie Anne quickly took out some money to pay the woman for it.

"Ooooo, it looks good on you!" Sid complimented as she looked at it with sparkling eyes. "See, told you you'd fine something!"

"Yeah…yeah I did…" Ronnie Anne smiled as she looked at the charm. "Hey I, uh, gotta use the bathroom. Wait for me here?"

"You got it bestie!" Sid gave her friend a thumbs up as she was prepared to wait for her friend to come back from the pooper.

"Thanks Sid!" Ronnie Anne didn't waste any time as she started speed walking towards the nearest restroom. But on her way, Ronnie Anne took out her phone and started typing away on it, looking up what kind of artifact she had. "Can it be…" And what she saw, Ronnie Anne had the biggest smile on her face.

"Wooooooah…" Currently with Ja'Orre, Lincoln, and Wendy, the former was currently being amazed as he fiddled around with some trick rings, trying to figure out how someone could bring them together and pulled them apart. "It's so amazing…how does it work?!"

Meanwhile Lincoln and Wendy just laughed at the little scene in front of them, "Well glad that one of us is having fun at least." Wendy let out with a little bit of a dry laugh. So far this convention…was nowhere near as fun as she thought it would be. Heck not even Lincoln seemed to be enjoying himself all that much and Wendy thought he loved magic and that stuff. "Thought you'd be all over this though Linky."

"Maybe in the past but after experiencing actual supernatural and extraterrestrial stuff…it kinda kills the fun and charm of these tricks." Having the Omnitrix and going on all these adventures were definitely exciting, but they did kill some of Lincoln's other interest. Seeing all these cheap magic trips was just…underwhelming. "Come on maybe there will be more fun over at the magician of the year performances. Hey Ja'Orre lets go check out the performances!"

"Okie doki Lincoln!" Putting down the rings, the happy ghost followed his friends over to where the most people were gathered up. Another thing going on in this event was that magicians everywhere were competing for magician of the year by putting on the best performance. "Oooooooh! This looks fun!"

"Yo! Guys!" Suddenly coming up to them were Ronnie Anne and Sid, Ronnie Anne wearing her new wrist gauntlet. The younger Santiago certainly seemed a lot happier than before, in fact she even got right next to Lincoln and whispered into his ear, "Dude, you won't believe what I found!"

She held up the gauntlet for Lincoln to see, giving the white head a clear view of the charm inside. Lincoln's eyes widened as he blinked a few times to make sure he wasn't seeing things. "Wow is that-" Unfortunately Lincoln was cut off by an announcer coming up to the stage in front.

"And remember, the magician of the year will be crowned in just a few hours during the solar eclipse!" True to the announcer's words, the moon would soon come to completely cover the sun, quite the special event. "Now please welcome our next contestant, the Amazing Allen!"

Everyone cheered and clapped as, in a puff of smoke, a blond magician appeared along with a large box. "For my first trick, I'll need a volunteer." He said to the crowd with a smirk.

There were quite a number of raised hands in the crowd, however their seemed to be a distinct lack of white-haired boys in the crowd. "Hey, where'd Lincoln go?" Sid asked as the boy suddenly vanished.

"Oh no, Lincoln's disappeared!" Ja'Orre yelled as he quickly started to panic…only to calm down as he saw Lincoln on stage next to the magician. "Oh wait there he is."

"Lincoln Loud reporting for duty!" Lincoln said as he surprised the magician by suddenly appearing next to him all Lucy style. Looks like Lincoln picked up some tricks from his younger sister.

Shrugging, the magician decided to let Lincoln help him out and opened his box before putting Lincoln inside, "And boy goes in, but what come out will amaze and surprise you!" The magican told the crowd, trying to hype up his trick.

"Oh you better believe it…" Lincoln grinned as the box closed and was locked up with him inside, the Loud Boy quickly activating the Omnitrix. As the magician waved his arms over the box, suddenly a green flash appeared inside as the box burst open and from it came, "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATH!" Surprising even the magician himself, Rath flipped in front of the stage and started flexing for everyone, showing off his muscles. Allen simply went with it and presented Rath as the crowd roared and cheered. "Yeeeeah! YEEEAH! CHECK THIS OUT!"

"Laying it on a little thick there huh?"

As everyone clapped, most of the group Lincoln was with simple rolled their eyes and smirked. "Oh him," Wendy chuckled and smiled.

"What a Lame-O," Ronnie Anne whispered and shook her head while her best friend was completely shocked.

"What the-how did-what did-THAT WAS AMAZING!" Sid was now starting to see the appeal of magic. Especially if it made hunky tiger men appeared.

But as everyone was enjoying themselves, suddenly a red mist came in through the ceiling making everyone gasp. Especially when it connected with the stage and blew up, blowing Allen and Rath back. "Hey! No one blows Rath up!" Rath yelled as he got ready to beat down whoever was responsible.

And the ones appearing were none other than Hex and Charmcaster. "No way!" Ronnie Anne gasped at the sight of the magician she took down earlier this summer. Meanwhile Sid started backing up a bit with Ja'Orre staying close to her.

"Hey, wait your turn pal!" Allen yelled at Hex, not realizing how dangerous the skull faced man was. "You're ruining my act!"

"I have no time for ametaurs." Hex calmly told Allen with venom in his voice as his eyes glowed. With his magic, Hex effortlessly lifted Allen off the ground and threw him towards Rath, but the bipedal tiger easily caught him and threw the magician to the side. Hex then looked to the crowd and demanded, "Give me the charm of Bezel!" Narrowing his eyes at the crowd, Hex was beginning to use force to get what he wanted. "If it's magic you want, it's magic you shall-"

However Hex was cut off by Rath suddenly zooming towards him and punching the skull faced Magician right in the cheek and knocking him into the wall. "Let me tell ya something Hex, self-proclaimed greatest magician in the world! Rath just so happens to be the self-proclaimed best butt kicker in the world!" Rath yelled at Hex as he started cracking his knuckles. "And Rath's about to show you why he gave himself that title!"

"Grrrrr…" Hex growled, wincing as he touched the part of his cheek that Rath punched, and growled at the angry alien. "Charmcaster! Take care of this pest! I'll get the charm."

"Very well uncle." Charmcaster did as the skull faced magician said and faced Rath with a smirk on her face, her hand going for her magic bag. "This should be fun."

"Let me tell ya something Charmcaster, girl I've never met before but is apparently associated with Hex, self-proclaimed best magician on earth!" Rath began as he continued to crack his knuckles and stepped up to Charmcaster. "You think it'll be fun taking on Rath? Well I'll make you regret thinking that! Cause the only thing you'll feel when taking on Rath, is pain, pain, and more pain!"

"And deafness if you scream any louder."

"SHUT UP!" Rath roared before charging at Charmcaster.

"As for the rest of you," Hex levitated back up as he glared at the audience, feeling angrier due to that punch. "Give me the charm or suffer the consequences!" Hex then raised his staff, making it glow and causing red mist explosions to occur all over the convention.

"Aaaaaaah! I don't think this is part of the act!" Sid panicked as she ducked down and covered her head. Unknown to everyone else, Ronnie Anne was gone and out of sight. "What's going on?!"

Meanwhile Wendy just glared at Hex and tightened her fist, "Ja'Orre, get Sid and go get Clyde and get them out of here!" Wendy ordered the disguised ghost, knowing that Sid wasn't cut out for this at all, along with not knowing their secrets, and that Clyde couldn't control his powers yet and they could easily go out of control again. "We can handle this!"

"Yes Sir Mrs. Boss Ma'am!" Ja'Orre saluted comedically as he quickly grabbed Sid's arm and started flying away at high speeds. "HERE WE GO!"

"AAAAAAAAAHHHH!" Sid screamed as she was dragged away at high speeds.

"This is your last chance!" Hex roared as his staff and eyes glowed brightly, wind and magic energy swirling around him as he got ready for a big attack. "Give me the key stone or this whole place shall be destroyed!"

"THIS AGAIN HEX!"

"Who dares-AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!" Suddenly Hex's groin was attacked by someone swinging from the line of cable attached to the upper part of the stage. Hex ended up falling to the ground and holding his privates as they throbbed in pain. "Not…again…"

Hex gets owned: 2

As both Rath and even Charmcaster stopped fighting to laugh at the scene Wendy, who had just taken out her hammer, rose a brow and wondered who could have possibly landed that hit. But to her surprise, dawning her skull mask once more, Ronnie Anne was once again the magical Lucky Girl! "Lucky Girl! But…how?" Wendy asked with confusion in her voice. She saw Ronnie Anne destroy all the charms back at the graveyard so how could Ronnie Anne be doing this? "I thought you…wait a second did you bring your costume with you?"

"Never mind that! Check this out!" Ronnie Anne smirked as she held up the gauntlet, showing off the charm. However as she did this, Hex managed to look up and also see the charm despite the pain he was in. "Lucky Girl is back in action baby!"

"No way…is that…" Wendy let out in fascination.

"The charm of bezel…" Hex soon glared hard at Ronnie Anne as, not only did she strike his groin again, but his arch nemesis was the one who possessed the charm. But Hex soon smirked, he could take care of two birds with one stone! "That belongs to me!"

"Hmph," Wendy glared at the skull faced man before closing her eyes, seemingly going into deep concentration. When she opened her eyes, they were now blood red with anger as an energy suddenly erupted from Wendy and the girl was coated in a bright bronze aura. "We'll see about that."

"Woah, when did that happened?" Ronnie Anne asked with interest, finding Wendy's power up rather cool despite…circumstances.

"I have some tricks of my own," Wendy stated as she gripped her hammer tightly as she and Ronnie Anne glared at Hex, who glared back at them. "Come on, let's take care of this old fart together."

"Take this!" Back with Charmcaster and Rath, Charmcaster reached into her bag and pulled out some magic rings that rolled towards Rath and grew to colossal size as they got closer. "One order of Road Kill coming right up!"

But Rath wasn't intimidated at all as he stood his ground and held his hands out and managed to catch one of the giant rings sent at him. Charmcaster's eyes widened as Rath picked the ring up and used it to swat the other rings away. "RAAAAAHHH!" With a roar, Rath sped in front of Charmcaster and delivered a killer uppercut to her, knocking Hex's niece back a great deal. But before she could hit the ground Rath ran to where she was gonna land and grabbed her by the collar. "Is that all you got?! Because Rath's got lots more! In fact, I should give ya some of mine so that way it'll be a fair fight! And everything I gave you I can take back, and make you like it!"

Charmcaster grunted as she reached into her pouch and pulled out some pellets and threw them right at Rath's face. Rath grunted as the pellets blinded him briefly and caused him to drop Charmcaster. As the bipedal tiger tried to get his vision back, Charmcaster took the opportunity to reach into her pouch and take out little figures of some golem-like dogs. When she threw them on the ground, they all grew to large size and looked at Rath, "Huh? What the?" Rath let out as he looked at the golems in front of him.

"Let's see how you handle this." Charmcaster grinned as she snapped her fingers, signaling her golems to attack.

"BRING IT ON!" Rath yelled as he charged right at them.

Meanwhile Hex was having difficulty fighting both Lucky Girl and Wendy at the same time. With the charm all of Ronnie Anne's abilities were greatly enhanced, combined with her natural skill and talent in fighting proved to be troublesome for Hex. And with Wendy, the girl just straight up hurt as every blow she managed to land gave him a great bruise and pushed him back, especially when it came to her hammer and she was also quite tough as well as his attacks were barely making her flinch. But Hex's patience grew thin as his eyes and entire body glowed brightly. "ENOUGH!" Hex sent out his most powerful blast of magic yet at Ronnie Anne. Wendy quickly stepped out in front of Ronnie Anne to protect her but they both ended up being blasted back out of the doors of the convention. Landing at the entrance to the hedge maze behind the convention center.

"Ugh, do you hear any bells?" Wendy asked as she and Ronnie Anne got back up…only to look back down and see some of Charmcaster's mini golems. "Uh-oh! Ronnie Anne, go! I'll hold them off!"

"Alright! Good luck!" Ronnie Anne said as she ran into the maze as Wendy got ready to face the now growing golems.

Meanwhile Hex and Charmcaster floated outside, Rath currently busy with more of the latter's golems, with Hex seeing Ronnie Anne running into the maze. "You go get Lucky Girl," Hex ordered his niece as he looked down at Wendy who was easily smashing apart the golems with her hammer. "I'll handle this one."

"Very well Uncle." Charmcaster smirked evilly as she headed towards the maze.

Ronnie Anne was doing the best she could to remain undetected as she quietly walked through the maze, taking as many turns as possible to hopefully throw anyone that might be on her tail off of her. But as she was moving, she heard rustling from the wall she was next to on the opposite side of where she was. Smirking, Ronnie Anne decided it was best to go on the offense. "Alright Hex, let's see how you like a taste of Lucky Girl!" Ronnie Anne whispered before she back flipped over to the other side of the hedge and kicked whoever was there in the face. But it didn't turn out to be Hex and was instead Charmcaster, who fell to the ground when she was kicked along with her magic bag falling off her. Ronnie Anne smirked as she quickly reached for it. "Ha! Not so tough without your bag of tricks are you?"

However, when Charmcaster got up and looked at Ronnie Anne, the teen magician had an apologetic look on her face. "I-I didn't mean to hurt anybody," She told the young Santiago with a guilty look and friendly tone. "My uncle made me do it, I swear."

"Ha, you think I'm gonna fall for the sympathy card?" Ronnie Anne laughed, immediately thinking that the silver haired girl was trying to trick her by playing nice and innocent. Well Ronnie Anne Santiago don't play that game! "Why should I believe you? That's like the oldest trick in the book."

"My name's Charmcaster, I'm Hex's niece." Charmcaster properly introduced herself, persisting on trying to convince Ronnie Anne that she wasn't what she seemed. "You know what he's like. He doesn't take no for an answer. I can help you! He's after the keystone in your bracelet."

"Uh, yeah kind of figured that." Ronnie Anne dead panned at the silver head teen. That was kind of his plan the last time they encountered and it seems like nothing has changed. "He wants it to magnify his powers."

"That's not all." Charmcaster revealed there was actually more to Hex's plan then meets the eye. "If he performs the ritual of bezel with keystone at the highest point during the eclipse, he can recreate all the other charms you destroyed."

"Making new friends Charmcaster?" Suddenly the voice of the magican himself spoke up as Hex suddenly appeared, phasing through the plant walls of the hedge maze and making his way towards them. "I should have expected this from you. You both can either give me the keystone or face your demise!" Hex then pointed his staff at the both of them, making it glow.

"Sorry Uncle, but not today!" Charmcaster yelled as she grabbed her bag from Ronnie Anne and held it open right at Hex. Suddenly a bunch of golem bats flew out of the bag and swarmed Hex, quickly grabbing him and flying away.

"Grrrrr, you'll both pay for this!" Hex yelled as he was flown away.

"Ha! Oh man that was good!" Ronnie Anne laughed before looking to Charmcaster with a smile. "Huh, guess you aren't so bad after all."

"My uncle's gonna be really mad at me isn't he?" Charmcaster asked with a bit of a scared tone, knowing she'd be in big trouble for the stunt she just pulled.

"Well not so long as you're with us," Ronnie Anne reassured her as she held her hand out to the silver haired teen. "Welcome to the team,"

Charmcaster grinned and, instead of taking Ronnie Anne's hand, wrapped the Latina girl in a tight hug. "Oh thank you!" Charmcaster said with glee as Ronnie Anne quickly gained an uncomfortable expression. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

"Yeeeeah…no problem…" Ronnie Anne let out with an uncomfortable grin as she patted Charmcaster's back. "Ok you can let go now."

"Oh right, sorry." Charmcaster sheepishly apologized to the young Santiago and released her from the hug. "So what now?"

"Well first we should find Linc and Wendy." Ronnie Anne suggested as she dusted herself off. "Should see if they're alright after all that,"

"Here, I have something that should help." Charmcaster reached into her bag and pulled out a strange pink power and handed it to Ronnie Anne. "Here, rub this into your hands and it'll help you detect the presence of those your close to."

"Woah really, you gotta show me more of this magic stuff." Ronnie Anne grinned as she rubbed the stuff into her hands and waited for the affects to take place. It took a few moments for the affects to appear…but they were very different then what she was told. Suddenly everything got blurry as Ronnie Anne started feeling dizzy. "Hey…what's going…on…." Before she knew it, everything went black.

"Ship! Ship!"

"Mmmmm…"

"Ship! Ship! Ship!"

"Five more minutes…"

"Ship! Ship! Ship! Ship! Ship! Ship!"

"Ugh! Get off me Lalo!" Ronnie Anne shouted as she suddenly bolted up, wide awake now. But it wasn't the oversized dog that was on her like usual, instead it was the alien dog Ship that was nuzzling his face against her cheek to wake her up. "Huh, what's going on?"

"Oh thank God you're ok Ronnie Anne!" Suddenly pulling Ronnie Anne into a quick hug was her cousin Carlota. Looking around, she saw that Lincoln, Carlota, and Ship were the only ones around. "Lincoln told me everything that happened. I can't believe Hex is back."

"Don't forget his niece too," Lincoln chimed in with a frown, Ship growling in response.

"Wait…what are you doing here?" Ronnie Anne asked with confusion. Where was Wendy and wasn't Carlota with Leni? "What's going on?"

"Well to sum things up, I called Carlota after I turned back for back up." Lincoln started explaining things to Ronnie Anne. "She dropped off Leni at your building, Ja'Orre also took Clyde and Sid there too. Wendy also went in case they need some extra protection. But what happened to you? We just found you here unconscious?"

"Let's see…the last thing I remember was running into Charmcaster and…" Ronnie Anne then gasped as she remembered her encounter with Charmcaster and quickly looked to her wrist gauntlet. Sure enough…the charm of Bezel was gone. "That slime little…SHE TOOK THE CHARM!" Ronnie Anne stood up, her face steaming red with anger.

"What?! She has the charm?!" Lincoln asked with widened eyes with Carlota also looking concerned. "This is bad, if Hex gets that charm he's just gonna get stronger."

"That's not all." Ronnie Anne revealed as she dusted herself off as well as cracking her knuckles, ready to give Charmcaster a beat down she'll never forget. "According to Charmcaster, if Hex performs this ritual at the highest point during the eclipse, he can recreate all the charms I destroyed."

Both Lincoln and Carlota gasped at the information. The situation was far worse than either of them knew, and now they needed to get to Hex now more than ever. "This is bad…" Carlota said in a serious tone as she stood up, Ship hopping onto her shoulder. "We gotta find them and fast!"

"I think I found them. Look." Lincoln chimed in as he pointed upward at a nearby tall building. It happened to be the very building Ronnie Anne took him, Wendy, and her other city friends to when they came to visit Ronnie Anne a few weeks before. Not only was it the tallest building in the city, but there were also sparks of red lightning coming from the top. "Well we know where they're gonna go, all we gotta do is kick their butts!"

"Alright then! Ship! Let's go!" Ship nodded in response to Carlota's words as he proceeded to melt himself around Carlota and in a matter of seconds Ship formed himself into the usual suit he donned Carlota in whenever they did hero work together. "We don't have time to waste!"

"Hold on, I'm coming with!" Ronnie Anne said firmly as she hopped on top of Carlota's back, not willing to be left behind on this mission. "I got a can of payback I'm ready to open right in Charmcaster's face! I'm not taking no for an answer!"

"Hey, I've been looking forward to the day we can do hero work together! So let's get your powers back cuz!" Carlota grinned as her visor went down to hide her face, Ronnie smiling and soon smirking herself. Ship then formed a jetpack on Carlota's back as the latter looked down at Lincoln, who saw his watch was still in the red. "Need a lift?"

"Thanks but I actually have my own way of getting up there," Lincoln reassured Carlota as he gave the Latina girls a thumbs up. "I'll catch up!"

"You got it!" And with that, Ronnie Anne and Carlota took off into the sky towards the building Hex and Charmcaster were at.

Sure enough, Hex and Charmcaster were indeed located on the building Lincoln pointed out. And as the eclipse got closer and closer to happening, Hex continued his incantation in order to complete his plan. While he was unaware of her plan at first, he had to admit he was slightly impressed with her niece for managing to trick Lucky Girl and get the charm from her. Now he had everything he needed to become the most powerful being on the planet.

"Hey! You really thought you could get rid of me that easily!" Suddenly a familiar voice yelled to Hex and both he and Charmcaster looked back and saw Carlota and Ronnie Anne flying towards them at high speeds. Acting quickly, Carlota aimed both of her hands at the magicians and morphed them into drills.

"Drill Hammer!" Rotating them quickly, Carlota shot them right at the two. The magicians were quick to get out of the way as the drills hit the ground and wall, easily tearing through them before automatically returning to Carlota's hands. "Aw yeah! Techno Tornado ready to kick some magic butt!"

"So technology vs magic huh?" Charmcaster grinned as she stepped up and faced the two latina's down, giving Ronnie Anne a particularly smug look that made the young santiago's blood boil. "Alright then, I'll entertain that idea, it'll be fun taking Lucky Girl down a second time!"

"I'd like to see you try!" Ronnie Anne said as she cracked her knuckles, with Carlota revving up another attack.

Meanwhile Hex just watched the scene and was prepared to continue the ritual, but there was only one thing stopping him from doing that, "Surprise!" Suddenly, riding his hover board, Lincoln came into the scene and ran right into the back of Hex's head. "Man! I freaking love this thing!" After running over Hex, Lincoln looked over to Charmcaster and said, "Hey! We're both silver heads here! Shouldn't we stick together?"

"Hmmmmmm…" Charmcaster actually did hum a bit in thought as she looked at Lincoln's hair. "I'll admit it's rare to see someone share my hair color, but I'm afraid I have a job to do!"

"Meh, had to try," Lincoln shrugged, not really thinking that would work in the first place.

Growling, Hex eyed the boy on the hoverboard and went after him. Lincoln tried to outmaneuver the magician, but Hex managed to get right onto the other side of the hoverboard and glared down at Lincoln. "I will not be denied my destiny as ruler of the world!"

"That ain't gonna happen." Lincoln said firmly as he tried to shake his board around to throw Hex off it.

The magician nearly lost his balanced, but countered by trying to blast and swing his staff at Lincoln. The white head was forced to start hanging on the edge of the board. "Ok, might need to rethink my strategy…" Lincoln muttered as he managed to avoid another swing.

Meanwhile with Charmcaster, the teen magician grunted as she was constantly having to avoid green energy blasts that Carlota sent at her. The teen Latina refused to give Charmcaster a moment to stop and catch her breath. "Needle barrage!" With her other arm cannon, Carlota sent a barrage of sharp glowing green needles towards Charmcaster.

The female magician gasped as she saw the projectiles being sent towards her and quickly started running in circles to try and avoid the needles and for the most part she manages to dodge the attacks. However, one needle did end up grazing Charmcaster's shoulder and ripping her entire sleeve off and also cutting her arm. "Ow!" Charmcaster let out as she held the spot that was hit. "What are you doing trying to turn me into a human pin cushion!?"

"While that would be nice…" Carlota admitted as she put a finger to her chin, "I'm just trying to help buy some time."

Before Charmcaster could question this statement, she suddenly screamed in pain as something metallic and blunt hit the back of her head, "Did you forget about me?!" Looking back, Charmcaster saw Ronnie Anne wielding a pipe as a weapon and running right towards her.

"Come on, come on, come on, for once work!" Lincoln repeated as he tried to get the Omnitrix to turn on. Thankfully Lincoln's hopes were answered as the core pope up and, after dodging another attack from Hex, Lincoln got to selecting and alien. "Big Chill! Give me Big Chill!" Finding what he wanted, Lincoln slammed down the core and hoped he would turn into the ice moth alien. But instead of gaining wings and compound eyes, Lincoln started growing long cables for a tail and antenna. "Feedback! Ya know, I can role with this too!"

Swinging back onto the board, Feedback grinned at Hex as the skull faced magician charged another spell with his staff. With Feedback being a bigger target and right in front of him, Hex grinned thinking this'll be an easy shot. But when he fired, Feedback merely crossed his arms and used one of his antenna to absorb the magic attack. "Hey Hex, let me teach ya a lesson!" Feedback then started to channel powerful electric energy on his fingertips. "What comes around goes around!" Feedback then fired an electric blast point blank at Hex, blowing the magician off the board and onto the roof of the building completely unconscious.

In fact, he ended up landing right in front of Charmcaster. His niece gasped a bit at the sight, but soon grinned before looking at the Latina girls attacking her. "Perfect," She muttered before deciding to finish things up here. Reaching into her bag of tricks, Charmcaster pulled out some seeds and threw them right at Carlota.

The oldest Casagrande covered her arms and jumped back outta instinct, thinking they were more explosives. But when the seeds touched the ground they instantly started to grow and turned into vines that wrapped themselves around Carlota. "Ah! Hey!" Carlota tried to break out, but these vines were a lot stronger than normal vines and actually proved a challenge…especially when some actual explosives landed in front of her. "Uh-oh…"

"Ship…"

And with an explosion, Carlota and Ship were blasted right off the building. "Carlota! Ship!" Feedback yelled as he quickly hovered after them. "I'm coming to get ya!"

"That takes care of him as well," Charmcaster grinned before walking forward, the eclipse finally taking place. And with her uncle blacked out, all the power would go to her! "Charmcaster, ultimate magic ruler of the world. Has a nice ring to it!" Stepping up to the charm she took from Ronnie Anne, Charmcaster rose up her arms and watched as the power of the eclipse and the charm started to recreate all the keystones that were destroyed. "The power of bezel will soon be mine!"

"You always seem to count me out don't you," Looking back, Charmcaster saw Ronnie Anne had ditched her pipe and was now carrying Hex's staff, aiming it right at her. "If I were you, I'd back away from the charms."

But Charmcaster only laughed, not feeling threatened in the slightest. "Ha! That staff only works in the hands of a master magician." Charmcaster knew that for herself. If it didn't work in her hands, then no way it could possibly work in the hands of someone that could only use magic with help from the charms. "There's nothing you could do to stop-AHHH!"

Suddenly Ronnie Anne managed to send a blast of magic right at Charmcaster, knocking her out quickly. "Oooook…" Ronnie Anne let out in a confused tone as she looked at the staff. "How'd I do that?"

"Ronnie Anne!" Calling out to her was Feedback and Carlota. Once the former had caught the latter they both hovered back up quickly, though Carlota was still restrained by the vines.

"Quick!" Wasting no time, Ronnie Anne pointed to the charms floating up in the sky. "You have to destroy the charms!"

"I got this!" Feedback quickly aimed all of his fingertips at the magic items, intending to destroy them all in one go. "Ready…aim…"

"Fire!"

On Ra'ad's call, Feedback managed to blast all the recreated keystones into rubble with one blast. Destroying them once more. With the charms now destroyed, the sky went back to being clear and the eclipse ended. With the day saved, the symbol on Feedback blinked red and in a red flash, the alien turned back into Lincoln. "Hey Ronnie Anne," Lincoln spoke up to the younger Santiago. "Sorry about destroying the charms."

"Eh, it was the right thing to do." Ronnie Anne reassured him before grinning and twirling the staff around. "Besides, still got this outta of it. Might not be a bad idea once I learned to figure it out."

"And once you do maybe we can start doing hero stuff together," Carlota suggested as she lifted her visor up and put a hand on her cousin's shoulder. "I think Lucky Girl and Techno Tornado would make a great team,"

"Yeah, we would wouldn't we?" Ronnie smiled before her and Carlota shared a hug.

"Aaawww," Lincoln let out as he saw it. "Alright you two let's get down from here. I'm starving for some Casagrande casserole." The two Latina's simply laughed as they brought the end to another summer day in the city.

Welp, might be a little rusty but I still think I got the touch!

It was really fun to come back to this fic and with this chapter especially as it was a lot of fun to work on. And believe me, this chapter is important a lot of things from this are gonna pop up again and I changed the ending for a reason.

So here's how things are gonna go now. Next I'm gonna update Tornado Siblings, then She-Ra and the War of Stupidity, and then Loud 10 again. That's gonna be the rotation for the next ten chapters. I think it's a pretty good system.

So with all that said, remember to fav, follow, and stay tuned for the next chapter...
