Chapter 48
Will to Win

My life was never easy. Ever since I was born. I suppose that's not a surprise, considering people suffer every day without us knowing. But I never knew how much I suffered. I was very young when my brother was the one suffering. From what he told me, our parents kept him locked him the basement. They were afraid of his power. Kai doesn't tell me the whole details, but it started when he was 8 and he tried to use his Quirk on dad to see what effects it could have on a human being. Suffice to say, the results were less than favorable. Even though he brought him back, the damage was already done. THey outcasted him out of his own family.

I would often bring him food. I didn't have friends, so the only person I could talk to was Kai. I always wondered how a germophobe like him survived all those years in that dirty basement. Perhaps that's why he is what he is today. That aside, it came the time where I had to face my own destiny... like a monster. When I was 4, a few weeks after manifesting my Quirk, my parents were relieved to see my Quirk wasn't as destructive and human-threatening as my brother's. I was innocently reaching for her phone one day since I wanted to show Kai some pictures, but I accidentally used my Quirk and added a spike to the phone's screen. Apparently, it pierced a pretty important nerve in her leg, don't remember what it was. But she wouldn't be able to walk normally again.

I was horrified. After all of the times Kai told me the story he became a monster in our parent's eyes, I was afraid I was next. I asked them to give Kai a chance and help her fix her leg, but...

"You are as much of an abomination as that brother of yours! How could I have given birth to two devils!"

I don't remember much of what happened afterward. My memory is blurry, even to this day. But I vaguely remember following Kai through the streets as we walked aimlessly for days, rummaging through garbage to survive. After we met the boss, we were placed under his wing and became official members of the Shie Hassaikai. Well, Kai did. I was ten years younger than him, so a brat like me could do nothing. I didn't want to fall behind, so I began to study with the instructors given to me by the Boss. Over time, I saw Kai less and less, since he was spending more time making a name for himself in the organization. It was just as before. I had grown lonely.

Studying was what kept me occupied. But I could never be a normal child for once. I knew I wasn't like the rest of the children, so I never asked to be put in a school. Even then, I suppose it would have been risky since we were reported as missing. But then I got an idea. I realized I could make my own friends. With the power of technology. I began studying harder and harder, my new resolution being my source of fuel. I wasn't going to be alone anymore. But it was going to take some time. On the side, I was beginning to learn more about assembling things manually. Sure, I could do it with my QUirk, but I didn't want to depend on it. That's why I would spend hours locked up in my room, assembling a single arm. When I was ten, I had already decided to surpass Kai. I wanted to see where we stood.

But it was then when I discovered my weakness. After he took me to one of the training rooms, he encouraged me to use my Quirk. And that's when it happened.

"Your Quirk isn't like mine, Tai." He calmly said, his voice sounded distant, almost cold."You depend on electronics or metal to be around you to use. But what if you were in an empty room like this? You might as well be Quirkless. You'll never be a proper Yakuza unless you can at least use your Quirk efficiently.

I was astonished by his words. Why the hell did I never think about that? I needed outside interference for my Quirk to work. Then it hit me. I glanced up at my brother with determination and asked him for a favor.

"Kai, destroy my right hand and left leg." He rose his arm up.

Kai's eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets upon hearing the request."What?! What are you talking about?!"

"I believe that may not be wise." Chronostatis, or Hari, chimed in from the side."Your Quirk works by touch. If you lose one of your arms, you'll be reducing your Quirk potency by half."

"How is this going to make you use your Quirk better?" Kai demanded."Not to mention that it's not that easy. We'll have to stop the bleeding and it'll hurt like hell. A kid like you can't handle that."

"You're wrong, brother. Compared to the pain you and I felt in our past, this'll be nothing. Besides, I have a few ideas on what to do. Now go ahead and do it or..." I pulled out a kitchen knife from my jacket, stabbing my arm. It was the dumbest thing I've ever done, but I needed results, and fast."I'll cut my own arm off! OW!"

"You idiot!" Kai and Chrono rushed in to help.

At first, it was hard just leaving with one arm and one leg. I had a few prosthetics I had created, but they were mere prototypes. They were enough to work but if I had to be in a wheelchair until I created a sturdy enough leg. Teema was there lending me a helping hand. He was...different, back then. He was just the same as us. We all came from the streets and wanted a place in this world. Once we finished making my new limbs, I immediately went back to my project at hand. Create the perfect AI. My room was decorated with toys that I had programmed with prototypes of AI. Some of them worked, some didn't. It was an arduous task. but I was growing closer with each try. I feel my sanity deteriorate slowly. I was desperately looking for someone to call a friend. Someone who would be with me and give me the love I never got.

One day, when I was thirteen, after the whole thing with the Boss had happened, and Kai officially the new head of the organization, I had finished. I fell on my floor, exhausted upon working for two days straight without sleep. I glanced up at the robot I had built carefully. She was blonde and had blue eyes. I dressed her in a white shirt I had found and bought a skirt and black boots. Nowadays I think I gave her a shitty outfit, but she never complained. I'm not sure if it's because she liked it or because she didn't care.

All I know is the moment she booted up and looked at me, I burst into tears.

"You are my Master...correct?" She tilted her head, observing me as I cried."Oh, gosh. Why are you crying?" She helped me up from the floor and sat me next to her on my bed."Did I upset you, Master? I'm deeply sorry if I didn't come out as you expected."

"No..." Taichi muttered, wiping the tears off his eyes."I'm not crying because I'm sad. I'm crying because I'm happy."

"Crying when one is happy?" She repeated as if she didn't understand the meaning."What a peculiar combination. Well, I'm just glad you're happy. Your happiness is everything to me, Master Taichi Chisaki. If I may know, what is my name?"

"Maria." He beamed, hugging her."Your name is Maria! Maria, will you forever be my friend? You won't leave me alone, would you? You'll stay forever with me?"

"Of course, Master!" Maria returned the gesture, following his example."I will forever be your companion. No matter if I'm destroyed or lose my memory bank, I will always be with you."

Current time

Taichi screeched as the turbines on his calves burst into life. He used the balls under his feet to skate over to where the demon was.

"He's faster than before." Nero narrowed his eyes, dodging the punch from Tai's monstrous arm. With great speed, Nero gave him a right hook to the jawbone around his face, shattering part of it."But I'm still faster!"

Tai glared at him, aiming his cannon-arm at him and firing a laser from it, forcing Nero to fly away. The young Chisaki touched the broken shards of his jawbone on the floor and began constructing it back together. He touched his right arm, opening two compartments and shooting two blades as they rotated at him.

Nero dodged out of the way easily, not breaking eye contact with his powered-up foe."You're impressive, but it's still not enough to compete with me."

"I wouldn't be so sure. Death is closer than you think." Taichi rasped as he looked behind the demon.

Nero's eyes shot wide open, quickly moving to the side and feeling his right wind being cut in half."They have trackers?!" He was forced to fall back to the ground after losing balance. Clicking his tongue, Nero leaped over to Taichi, Guerra wrapping its thorns around his wrist and drinking his blood. Taichi fired another laser at him, but Guerra was more than enough to cut through it and break the equipment in his human hand.

Taichi swiftly moved his hand around, the broken pieces going back to his arm and forming a shield. He used the jets on his feet to tackle Nero to the far wall, proceeding by leaping back, falling on all fours, and aiming the cannon on his back at him."EXTINGUISH!"

A beam of energy was shot at lightning-speed at the demon man, who used the blade of his sword to block it. He was pushed back to the wall, going several meters inside of it. Before he could be blasted with another attack, Nero regenerated his wing and took off in the air. Taichi used his turbines and the jetpack on his back to follow him up in the air.

"How is he not moving his wings and he's still flying?" Nero mused, intrigued at the upgrade he had gone through."I see. So the wings are just there to maneuver in the air. He has a jetpack that lets him fly up, and the turbines on his legs are what give him speed. Not bad."

A cat and mouse game had started in the air. Taichi shot various rounds of beams at Nero, but he was much faster in the air and agile. When he saw his opening, Nero used the wall to gain momentum and cut off one of Taichi's wings."Payback, bitch!"

"Fuck off!" Taichi sneered as the shattered parts began floating towards him, but Nero was in the way, so they ended up piercing his skin. The demon-Quirk user screamed in pain as he began removing the sharp edges off of him, not realizing Taichi was right behind him. Using both of his arms, Taichi swung down his arms at his head, sending him back to the ground. Landing nearby, the sin of Envy touched his remaining wing, destroying it and dividing the parts evenly to make smaller ones. He began skating away, flipping Nero off as he went through a hallway.

"Oh, you aren't getting away from me!" Nero flew right behind him. Now they were flying in the small corridors of the underground tunnels. Taichi smirked, touching his right arm and adding missiles to it.

"I knew you'd try something like that!" Nero readied his blade."But you've already tried that, so I suggest you change your strategy."

"Yeah, I know missiles and gunfire won't work on someone like you." Taichi cackled, firing the missiles away. Nero clicked his tongue, annoyed that he was really forced to prove him wrong again. To his surprise, the missiles changed course and instead hit the walls and the ceiling, caving him as rocks fell on him. With a triumphant laugh, Taichi proceeded to halt and get on all fours, aiming the cannon on his back at the mountain of debris."EXTINGUISH!"

Tai put a lot of energy into the projectile, firing a huge beam of energy that crashed against the debris, causing an explosion.

"That's it! I win!" Taichi laughed uncontrollably before wincing."Shit...he really did a number on me." He examined himself carefully. His mouth was bleeding, his prosthetic limbs were tattered, likely to him not using his Quirk properly due to the pressure."And I'm my automail is running out of fuel...I have to go to my room and get some repairs in. If this guy was this strong, then the Kachidokis might give me a run for my m-"

He noticed a shadow from his peripheral vision, and rose his right arm, only for it to be cut down in an instant. He felt a punch to his stomach make him spit blood, but that helped him take a good look at his assailant."You're still alive?!"

Nero was flying with him at top speed, his expression one of rage."You actually believe stupid shit like that will work on me?!"

"Fuck you!" Taichi slammed his left arm to his head, slightly pushing him back. However, Nero was far from done. He pushed on, headbutting Taichi in the chin as they both went through a wall. Tai was beginning to lose consciousness, wondering how far he was going to push him into the wall. As they finally exited the wall, Nero grabbed Taichi by the collar of his sweatshirt and threw him hard to the other side of the wall, making a huge crack to it. The young man collapsed to the floor, nearly passed out.

Nero was breathing heavily, not expecting his opponent to be as stubborn as he was. He fell on one knee, the damage of Tai's previous attack finally taking its toll."He really is strong...I underestimated him for being a kid. But I suppose I shouldn't have, considering we have capable kids in our group..."

"Man...that really...hurts..." Taichi groaned, flipping his body to be on his back."A Demon Quirk, huh...I guess it really was a bad matchup after all. Shit...is this really how I lose...? How pathetic. I can't even make my dreams a reality..." He covered his eyes in shame."God damn it..."

Nero watched on silently before deciding to at least say something."I understand you a little better now. As we fought, I could feel your strong resolve to win. You want to win because you believe that getting rid of all Quirks and having you guys be the ones at the top, will give you the life you want? Well, you're wrong. You can't just expect life to owe you anything and you can't force your agenda onto other people. It's just false hope.

"False hope...the hell are you talking about?"

"You're a smart kid. I'm surprised you actually believe that this will work out. Assuming you actually do succeed, then what? You expand your business, make people lose their Quirks and how does that affect you? People won't want to be close to one of the only people to have a Quirk. You don't buy trust or force it. You earn it. I discovered that as I grew closer with the Kachidokis. I am no demon. I am a human. But can you say the same about yourself? You're playing to be a god and rule over the world over a utopic dream. But you do it because you don't want to be alone. I understand that very well." He sighed, exasperated."I really hate fighting people like you. People with reasons. It's easier to just fight criminals who want money and power. But nevertheless, it's never too late to start over. So at least let's talk it over. We have no more reason to fight."

"Start over, huh...?" Taichi cracked a wicked smile at that."It's too late to turn back. Far too late. Even if I never reach happiness, I will make sure the rest of the world does. By getting rid of the curse that are Quirks."

"Stop. You can't fight me." Nero shook his head, trying to talk him out of doing anything stupid.

"I guess I should have seen how strong you were after you took down Sloth...speaking of...do you know just where we are right now?"

Nero blinked, scanning his surroundings. His jaw dropped once he noticed the scattered parts of what used to be Goliath Sloth along with the remains of Raven, Lion, and Panda Sloth. He readied his blade, but he was too late. Taichi had touched a piece of scrap and subsequently, all the others began spiraling around him and connecting with one another as if they were a jigsaw puzzle.

The new robot resembled a tyrannosaurus rex. It had a revolver for a left arm, a red chest plate, a metallic helmet with three horns on it, and also has red mechanic wings with three cannons on each. The gigantic robot was equal in size to what Goliath originally was.

"This is bad..." Nero muttered, forcing himself on his feet."If it's as sturdy as that other robot from before, it's going to be a challenge. But he must be getting tired too. Though I don't know to what extend his Quirk can be used. So..." He rose his blade as a fire began surrounding it."How about we finish this with our next move? May the one with the strongest conviction win."

Taichi, inside the driver's room, smirked to himself, typing something with his left hand on the keyboard on the control panel. His stumps were connected to two circular cases and his remaining limbs remained unmoving.

The robot's mouth opened up, revealing a blue light inside. Nero aimed the tip of Guerra at it, focusing his demonic energy on it.

"GOD KNOWS!" Nero fired a thin beam of energy as the robot fired a huge energy cannon that overshadowed Nero's attack. and went straight for him. Nero's eyes widened as he didn't have time to move away, taking the whole attack head-on. He screamed in agony as his demonic skin began to peel off, revealing his human form. Once the attack was over, he dropped Guerra to the floor and fell on his back.

"He got me good...I don't think I can't..." He tried to sit up, but his body was aching in pain and his consciousness began to fade away."Sorry, Ayushi...looks like this is it for me..." He grinned upon seeing Taichi charged up another attack."Without a doubt, that'll kill me. But...I guess it just means my will wasn't as strong as his. His determination is so strong that...it's...scary...But I'm happy...at least I had a great fight before...before I..." With those words, he fell back to the floor, unconscious.

"I commend you, Yugo Nakahara. Nero. For a moment, you had me scared. But you gave it your all and pushed me further. I won't ever throw our ambitions away. This place will serve as a grave for you and your friends. Goodbye." Taichi closed his eyes, pushing the button to fire his last attack.

"SMASH!"

The robot's jaw was shut closed, causing the attack to explode inside its mouth and blowing its head clean off.

"What the?!" Taichi cried out, using his Quirk to repair the head."Since my nerves are connected to this robot, I can use my Quirk on a larger scale. But who the fuck did that?!"

"Sorry, sorry. I thought for sure you were in the head." A young man wearing baggy black pants, a black shirt with a white jacket over it, and a mask landed in front of the robot. He had shaggy jet-black hair as well as red eyes, or so they seem red from the eye openings of the mask."Yo, Tai-chan."

"YOU! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE, LEAGUE OF VILLAINS SCUM?!" Taichi roared upon seeing the familiar face."I don't care if you bring good news...For fucking with me, I'll kill you! I'm in a shitty mood right now and the last thing I need is an abomination like you to ruin my day further."

Adamas whistled, hands on his hips as he looked back at Nero."No kidding. You really beat the legendary Angelo up. Kudos to you, my friend. Seriously, I'm impressed."

"Well, if you really are, mind stepping out of the way? Maybe if you do, I'll let you off the hook."

"It's a real shit show up there." Adamas glanced up at the ceiling."Your brother...he's really being pushed back by school kids. Hilarious! Hahaha! I crack myself up! Seriously though, Overhaul, being pummeled by kids! And adults, of course. He won't last much longer alone."

"What the fuck?! What happened to all the Eight Precepts?!"

"All taken out. They're closing in on Overhaul. All the heroes, I mean. You should probably go help him. Or you can waste time and try to kill me and this hero here."

Taichi sneered, veins popping out of his forehead."FUCKERS! ALL OF YOU! Why the fuck aren't you helping?!

"You're crazy if you think I'm fighting all those heroes alone." Adamas rose his hands in defense."Besides, I'm not going to risk my life for him.

"Don't fuck with me, you disgusting creature! You are to follow orders! That is your sole purpose in lif-"

"You're still arguing with me?" Adamas sighed.

"Damn you...!" Taichi aimed his revolver hand at the ceiling, firing a couple of rounds at it, making a hole big enough for the robot to go through. However, the hole was still not showing the surface."Whatever. I should be able to break through it." Using its wings, the robot began flapping in the air.

"DOWN HERE, DUMBASS!"

The robot glanced down, seeing a flash of red crashing against its stomach. Adamas was covered in red lightning, giving countless punches to the machine and lifting it higher in the air.

"W-what the fuck are you doing?!" Taichi dried to slap him away, but the crowded space of the whole prevented the robot from moving."DESPAIR SMASH!" A punch with all of his strength sent Taichi flying upwards, breaking through and going out into the surface. Unbeknown to him, one of the Precepts was standing right in front of the hole and was unfortunate enough to be crushed underneath, knocking him out.

"What was that?!" Ryukyu perked up in her dragon form, eyeing the fallen machine on the floor on top of her previous opponent.

"A robot?" Nejire-chan landed next to her boss."Where did it come from?"

"Whatever it was, it beat that villain for us." Uravity sighed in relief, giving Froppy a thumbs up."Great! Now we can go help Deku and the others."

"I'm afraid it's not that simple, my lady." Adamas landed in front of them, giving them his back.

"That's-"

"You're from the League of Villains." Ryuku narrowed her eyes."Q. Or you also go by Adamas as well. Are you here to help them?"

"Actually, I'm here to help you." The boy boldly stated."I'm not with him, I'm the one who sent him up here. The League of Villains doesn't work with assholes like the Yakuza. And to prove my claims, I'll even give you intel on him."

"Huh?" All the girls glanced at one another before their sights landed on Ryukyu.

"And what would you gain from this? Do you honestly think we are going to trust you? For all we know, you could have a hidden agenda of sorts and are just using us to help you with this."

"Well, I could just ditch and you would have to fight him anyway. He's tired and wounded, but he still has some fighting left." He looked over his shoulder, glancing at the robot which was slowly beginning to stand up."I know some of you from either the Sports Festival or other sources. I know only the two older ladies have a fighting chance with Envy. But he has great firing power, so no one is really safe. Not even the cops you were protecting. He did beat a pro hero. Angelo. On the other hand, if you accept my help, not only do you manage to beat a powerful villain, but I might also give you some intel as well. Not a bad deal. I honestly don't want to fight you."

"I think we should trust him." Uravity spoke up."I mean, if he's saying the truth, then we'll need as much help as we can get. I don't like siding with villains, but..."

"I see your point." Ryukyu took her words into consideration."If he is telling the truth and Envy took down Angelo, then he's a real threat." She then lowered her dragon head to his level."But if I suspect you're doing anything suspicious, I will squash you like that other villain got squashed."

"Of course." Adamas waved his hands frantically."I wouldn't dream of pissing you off, Ryukyu! As a sign of trust..." He grabbed his mask, tossing it aside and exposing his face. Ryukyu took a good look at his face, entranced by his crimson eyes.

"Woah, he's handsome!" Nejire commented.

"Nejire-chan..." Ryukyu sighed in exasperation.

"But of course, not as handsome as my Hisashi!"

"Doesn't he look a bit like Deku?" Uravity asked, her eyes not leaving the boy's face."Except for the hair and the eyes, he has a bit of a resemblance."

"You're right, ribbit." Froppy agreed, rubbing her chin in thought."It's really weird. But it could just be a coincidence. There are some people that could have lookalikes in the world without needing to be related."

"We're wasting time, ladies." Adamas waved his harm in dismissal."You can worry about my looks later. Anyways, I have a plan that can work. Taichi's Quirk is that he can alter the shape and form of any electronic or metal that he comes in contact with. Right now, he used the parts of the robots he created to encased himself in that wanna-be-kaiju. Just a bit ago, I blew up his head, but he wasn't there. So the other most likely place he's at is in the chest. We're going to have to break through that armor he has and then deliver an attack that pulls him out of the robot. As long as he's in there, we'll never defeat him."

"I see. So, our most beneficial strategy would pull him out rather than destroy the robot." Ryukyu surmised the situation."It's a solid plan."

"Right. But the ones who are going ahead should be me, you, and the girl with the lavender-hair. Uravity and Froppy are going to be our support. Not to mention I doubt they have any way to handling bullets or missiles that this thing can fire. And he's awake."

Taichi was standing up, his robot flapping its wings and floating a few meters off the air."Fuck...mother fucker really went to get help from heroes. Damn pussy! I don't have enough energy to handle five fucking people at the same time. Hey, Katsukame! Get your fucking stupid ass up and help me!"

However, the giant man was squirming about on the floor."Sorry, Taichi...Give me a little bit..."

"Damn it!" He slammed his hands on his keyboard."Guess I'll have to give you the time to recuperate your energy. But once you're good to go, come fucking help me. I'm on my last straws." He began raising his revolver-hand, but Ryukyu flew over to him and grabbed him by the shoulders."What the hell?! Off of me, bitch! I swear, I'll sell your ass to a whorehouse after this!"

"You won't get to do that, I'm afraid!" Adamas was in the air, spinning around and gaining momentum.

'I can't move! She's strong, as expected from the number 9 Pro Hero.' He then moved the dinosaur head and opened its jaw, powering up another beam of energy. Ryukyu noticed this and closed its jaw, forcing him to call off the attack. This, however, gave him the opportunity to move his right arm again, and he was about to pierce her eyes with his claws, but a wave of yellow energy knocked his arm back.

"Nejire-chan! Get ready to do it again!" Ryukyu roared to her sidekick, using her own claws to tear through the robot's shoulder. Nejire sent another wave of energy, this time, more powerful than the other, and managed to break the arm off. Before Taichi could figure out what to do, a powerful kick slammed on his robot's head, leaving a huge dent and forcing him to stumble back.

Taichi screamed at the top of his lungs as he destroyed his remaining arm and reconstructed it by dividing the pieces and making smaller arms in the process. He used his wings to fly in the air, hoping to gain some distance.

"Release!"

He heard the girl with the pink bodysuit yell as he began filling the pressure of things landing on him."The fuck is going on?!"

"Looks like the debris you lightened using your Quirk and I threw in the air worked after all." Adamas rubbed his nose."Not bad, cinnamon bun."

"W-what?" She blinked, her cheeks flushing.

"Now, for the next step of the plan. We have to find a way to open the chest plate." He grinned maliciously, walking up to the fallen arm left behind by the robot."Hey, Uravity, right? Gimme a hand here."

"Right!" Uravity rushed to his side, touching the arm and readjusting its weight."It's ready. If you don't want him to die, I suggest someone figuring out a way to catch him when we get him out."

"So, you're not going to kill him." Ryukyu boomed."That's a relief. Here I thought I'd have to stop you."

"Please...you misunderstand us, villains." He grabbed the arm and threw it in the hair."Catastrophic Distortion: 20%! Ryukyu, throw me!"

The dragon hero grabbed the young man and threw him in the air with monstrous strength. He kicked the arm to give it more speed and an extra boost in power."Now!"

"Release!" Uravity touched her fingers just in time as the claw collided with the robot's chest, going through the armor.

Taichi had to back up, eying the long claw popped out from the monitor, which was long broken by now."I don't have the energy left to use my QUirk. Fuck it, I'll blow myself up. I'll at least take out these pests up here, unlike Lust!" He turned the robot around, only to be met with a dreadful sight. Nejire-chan landed on top of him, her arms aiming at the opening Adamas has created.

"No way!" Taichi gasped in horror.

"Accelerator! Get out!" She cried out, using a great amount of energy and shooting spirals from her hand inside the opening. The robot began convulsing wildly as it began exploding. Taichi was sent flying through the back of the robot, his arm and leg hanging solely as his prosthetic appendages were left inside the exploding robot. A tongue wrapped around his body, pulling him away from the falling remains of what once was a huge threat.

"I got him!" Uravity helped Froppy get the unconscious young man and set him on the floor."He's okay! He's just knocked out."

Nejire-chan landed next to Ryukyu as she went back to her human form."Nicely done, Nejire-chan."

"Thank you! But I couldn't have done it with everyone's help."

"Everyone..." Ryukyu set her sights on Adamas, who had his hands behind his head carefreely."It seems you were right on the mark. He was already too winded to put much of a fight. I suppose Angelo gave him more trouble than we anticipated. Which begs the question...why didn't you help him? You already helped us, so I'm curious as to why you didn't help him instead."

"So many questions." Adamas rubbed his temples."I thought he didn't need my help at first. He was dominating the whole fight. Besides, I don't really like interrupting fights unless absolutely necessary. Also, Angelo took him to another room way too fast while I was tailing behind without being spotted. When I got there, he was already on the floor. Oh, you should tie him up with a rope instead of handcuffs!" He called out to a police officer.

"But why did you help us?" Nejire tilted her head."I mean, you ARE from the League of Villains, right? So why go out of your way to help heroes? We heard the Shie Hassaikai was working with the League of Villains."

"Working with them? More like they were exploring us." Adamas clicked his tongue."They really thought they could just keep us locked like dogs down there. So let's just leave it that I helped you for curiosity's sake."

"Excuse me." Uravity rose her hand."Why...why do you look like Deku? I mean, you don't exactly look like him, but there's a resemblance. Not to mention the way you use your Quirk is similar to his."

"Why indeed." He shot her a wink."Dunno what you're talking about doll face. But if that's all, I must be on my way."

"Wait, Adamas." Ryukyu glared at him."You are going to tell me everything you know about the League."

"And that's where we draw the line." Adamas glared back, his face morphing into one of disgust."Do heroes always try to force themselves on someone like this? So vulgar for a lady of your status. I only came to help for this, that's it. Besides, seems like you got more problems to deal with."

Her eyes shot open, turning on her heels and noticing Froppy and Uravity had collapsed on the floor. The giant masked villain was beginning to stand up, his muscles bulging.

"Later!" Adamas grinned as his body was covered in red lightning and jumped on top of a lamppost, subsequently heading for a rooftop.

"Give me back Taichi!" Katsukame roared as his muscles inflated more.

Shie Hassaikai Compounds, Underground Tunnels, Morning

"Hyaaaaaa!" Ayushi connected a punch to The Baron's arms, sending him skidding away. She was mostly perfectly fine and had a cocky smirk on her face."What's wrong? I haven't even transformed yet, you know?"

"Woah...Nee-san has him on the ropes." Takashi found himself smiling."Maybe she can win after all."

"Yo! Takashi!" Darby ran up to his friend."What's the situation here?"

"See for yourself." Takashi smirked as he looked back at his sister."She hasn't taken much damage. If any at all. The Baron is on the defensive. If she plays her cards right, Nee-san wins!"

"Win...?" Darby muttered, something deep inside of him setting all alarms in his body."There's something wrong here. Seriously wrong. Was your sister always this strong?"

"Huh? What do you mean? She figured out the weakness of his Quirk. He can apparently stop any incoming attack his way and has a long cooldown. 20 seconds tops. During that time, he's exposed. If Nee-san can secure a powerful attack then, it's her win."

Darby kept his eyes focused on the battle. The Baron was chuckling as he rubbed his sides.

"You are undeniable strong, Ayushi Kachidoki. I took you for granted. You didn't train with your father, yet you've grown incredibly powerful. I suppose your status as the heir of the family isn't just for show, is it? Regardless, as strong as you might be...at the rate you're going, you will never...ever...defeat me."

Ayushi scowled at those words, her hands sparking with neon."Stop being so delusional. I literally have you against a wall and you haven't even touched me once. This fight is as good as over. You are going to pay for everything you have done."

"Is that so?" The Baron dusted his uniform off."How obstinate. Do all Kachidokis have an ego? Your kind has tainted this world enough, don't you think? Just like I have purged your father and his brother, I will purge the remaining of your siblings."

"Keep talking. You talk like you want to save the world, but your whole mentality is selfish and nonsensical. My family had nothing to do with whatever grudge you have with us!"

"Perhaps you are correct." The Baron hummed to himself."It's true that you aren't complete to blame for your families' actions throughout history. However, you have continued the cycle of needless hatred. You call my acts selfish, yet the most selfish person in the room is here."

"Huh?" She rose a brow, taken back by his words.

"Perhaps I should start taking you seriously. I can see you are no joke but...I suppose going all with you would also be a waste."

"Stop bluffing!" She snapped."You have no way to defeat! None of your underlings will come to save you!"

The Baron guffawed as she finished speaking, raising his right arm to eye-level."Very well. Allow me to demonstrate. The power that I used to kill your father. You will savor it thoroughly and pay for your family's sins, Ayushi!"

All of a sudden, sparks began emanating from The Baron's hand. They were similar to Ayushi's own but were in a shade of green. The sparks began circling around each other as green flames appeared around his wrist.

"Hey, you're kidding me right?" Darby was bewildered at the sigh."He just can't...!"

"No way..." Takashi's eyes widened behind his visor."This has to be a nightmare."

Ayushi gawked in awe, her body instinctively taking a step back."This is...it can't be happening! He...that's..."

The Baron waved his arm, aiming the green sphere of energy in his hand at Ayushi.

"Neon..."
