Chul from the monitoring division drove up to the Gate, parking a little ways out from it.
"Hunters from the monitoring division are here?" A miner whispered to another one.
"Did something happen?" A miner pondered, seeing the men walk up to the Gate.
"Hunter Zen Han will soon be an S Rank. I wish he was more careful about what he'd doing, because it'll be monitored at any given moment." Chul looked at the A Rank Gate with a blank expression. "Why would a soon-to-be S Rank work as a miner for not one, but two days?" Chul pondered as he pushed up his sunglasses.
"What problem is big enough for the monitoring division to make their way over here?" The manager approached Chul. "Hunter Zen Han had been working as a miner yesterday, correct? Where is he right now?" Chul asked, causing for the manager's eyebrows to raise up.
"That young man again? He's inside of the Gate. The attack force's porter didn't show up today, so he volunteered and entered with them." The manager explained.
"So he's already in the Gate?" Chul spoke, looking back to the Gate.
"Miss Cha also was asking about him earlier. She ended up following him into the Dungeon as well." The manager further explained, causing for Chul to slowly nod.
"I see." Chul answered quickly, and approached the Gate, only to be suddenly shocked by a wave of powerful energy. "My god... I can't believe it. I thought my body would rip into pieces." Chul panted heavily, as his close workers also agreed with him.
One of Chul's assistants pulled out a magic measuring crystal, and measured the energy. "It's... one of the strongest A Rank Gates?!" Chul exclaimed, as a bad feeling filled his body.
"We'll go inside immediately."
"How did Hunter Kion's attack force kill all these High Orcs?" Cha walked past the fallen bodies of the High Orcs, shocked that they were all killed.
All the sudden, a shocking presence pushed through her, the boss's powerful energy told her that the situation was nothing to push over.
She dropped her hat and instantly threw her hair into a ponytail, more useable for fighting.
"If that energy was from the boss... No one in that team will survive." Cha rushed, sprinting towards the boss room.
"Heh, it's pitiful trying to pick a fight with so few soldiers." Kargalan stayed cocky, only bringing a smile to Zen's face.
"Ay, it's your funeral if you look down on us. Not my problem." Zen shrugged, as his shadow exploded outwards.
[The Shadow who Gained True Strength]
Shadow Soldiers in the presence of this skill will have their skills increased by 30% and will have their regeneration cost 50% less.
"Are those his summons? How can he summon so many?" Unnie asked, as Zen grinned, looking Kargalan dead in his eyes.
"What are you doing? Kill him!" Kargalan ordered his men, who took initiative from there and rushed towards Zen.
Without any words, Zen's strongest Shadows stepped in front of him, and took on several different Orcs by themselves.
Baruka smoothly sliced off the heads of the Orcs without a problem, slicing through them like butter with his own personal dagger. "You won't touch the King, until you get through me, you pitiful Ogres!" Baruka cackled maniacally.
Nix couldn't help but following the steps of her leader, gracefully ending her enemies lives. "Don't even try it, you feral bafoons! Your sad existences only taint the presence of the King!" Nix punched the heads of High Orcs straight off, without any problems in sight.
Annie seemed to be the most calm out of the bunch, and even she was pushing her arms through Orc skulls and Orc chests. "Can't you all just understand? You won't hurt our King while we still stand." Annie kicked a High Orcs head clean off, crystalizing her leg as she did.
"You will wish you were never born when we're done with you." Ikari sliced up his enemies with his blade. It cut through his goes like they weren't even there, and his momentum only helped him out in the end.
Zen used his daggers and overwhelming strength to bulldoze through whoever dared to go against him, very quickly approaching Kargalan with a horrifying smile on his face.
"Is he... Is he even human?!" A Tanker swallowed back his fear, as he looked at Zen easily take out what he was struggling against.
"I don't know... No human should be able to release such ominous energy!" Unnie swallowed, as Zen approached Kargalan.
"My normal Shadows are around High B Rank. That counts as my original knights, to the bears, to the Hyakki. They're all getting killed trying to fight the High Orcs. I've gotta decrease their numbers, because my Mana is running out far too quickly!" Zen was about to pull several of his Shadows back to himself, when a huge explosion went off.
"My Shadows!" Zen yelled, shooting a look towards Kargalan. "What? Are you surprised that your pathetic little trick won't hold up?" Kargalan sat still in his throne, without even moving from his spot.
"He's stronger than Metus and Volcan... and he's even stronger than Ikari. And yet... because I'm holding back on a lot of my Dragon skills..."

"My Mana won't run out anytime soon. I really am a cheating character." Zen grinned, and approached Kargalan further.
He jumped into the air and tried to cut Kargalan's head off, only to be pushed back by a barrier. "Tsk. You cannot infiltrate my barrier!" Kargalan roared, making Zen wave his finger.
"Ah, this seems more difficult than I imagined. But don't worry, I'll show you the unwavering domain of a necromancer. Arise." Zen called to the fallen Orcs, increasing his army and bashing his enemies moral.
The Orcs rose from their fallen corpses, intimidating their once allies with their newfound abilities.
"Don't worry, you won't be away from them for too long. Soon, you'll all die, and lastly, you'll become one as well." Zen pointed up to Kargalan, who was strucken to silence could only grip his chair in shock.
"Is he... a Monarch? No... It's the Shadow Sovereign!" Kargalan grew confused, only for anger to quickly follow after.
"I'll kill you for imitating a Sovereign! Hymn of lethargy. Hymn of blindness. Hymn of Slumber." Kargalan casted at Zen, only to be shocked as none of then went into effect.
"Hm? Oh I'm sorry, did you... say something?" Zen grinned a toothy smile, brushing off Kargalan's futile attempt at messing with his senses.
"Now... let's get rid of that pesky shield of yours." Zen held the Orb of Avarice in his hand, and summoned up a single Gungnir. "Hymn of Protection-!" Kargalan tried to pull up his shield, only for it to shatter against Zen's Mana weapon.
"Now, let's see how well you do without a shield." Zen grinned, pulling out his dagger.
He would fired another Gungnir, but the Orb of Avarice showed a frightening condition.
[One use left!]
The current item can only handle so much Mana, and as such, it will shatter upon its next use!
"It's fine, I've gotten strong enough recently. I don't need that item anymore." Zen sighed, before storing the item back into his inventory.
