Chapter 52

Christian

Watching Ana in front of Zeus taking her oath had been mind blowing he could see that this was absolutely what she had been born to do there was no doubt in his mind. He had stood with the twins in his arms looking around at all the beings glowing around the room the twins also looking with their eyes wide and excited. He just wanted to leave. This wasn't a place he felt comfortable and he didn't like his family being here.

When Ana had started to float and glow and her hair had started to move around her like it had a life of it's own he had been mesmerised until the lightening bold hit her chest. At that point he lost it he had handed the twins to Carla needing to get to Ana. When she stopped floating and turned to smile at him he felt a little better but her hated the barrier that was now in between them. He watched her look to the twins who suddenly appeared in her arms. He was fucking furious his whole life was behind this fucking barrier and he could do nothing to get to them.

When she sat with the babies and Zeus walked over to them he was terrified he didn't want him to touch his babies but Ana looked so happy, That was the only reason he stopped fighting to get to them it was the only reason the barrier disappeared because he knew Ana would never hurt the twins she would die first and he knew that because he would do the same.

He watched as Zeus placed his hands on their little heads. He watched the bright light flow through them. He watched their eyes glow and their smiles grow and he watched as they grew he could do nothing. He couldn't move or think or react as he watched his little babies get of their Mommies knee and run over to him. They fucking ran laughing and giggling and he could do nothing but watch open mouthed.

The feel of them grabbing his hand snapped him out of his thoughts he looked at them looking up at him Abigail's hair was so long that when her head was bent back it actually touched the back of her legs. Theo was a little taller than Abigail and he could feel the power they possessed as they held onto his hand it was incredible and terrifying all at once.

He looked up to see that Ana was now walking behind the thrones he knew that this was so that she could sign the oath but not being able to see her was a nightmare he watched as Carla walked over to join them she smiled at him and he started to feel a little better.

He hadn't moved since he had arrived as he knew he wasn't welcome so he didn't want to draw attention to himself, well more attention than he no doubt was already getting. This was the only place that he was himself in physical danger and he didn't like it one bit. When he saw Carla walk towards him he could see that something bad had happened because they looked as white as the room they were stood in. He looked around to see that everyone had gone and he knew that they could leave he would have felt relieved if it wasn't for the look on his wife and mother in-laws face.

"Ana baby what happened?" She looked up at him tears in her eyes that looked more like diamonds thanks to the glow coming of her. She shook her head and reached out for Abigail's and Carla's hand while Carla reached out for Theo's. The room grew brighter and brighter forcing everyone but Ana to close their eyes. As the room dimmed he saw that they were stood in their apartment and he felt like he could finally breath for the first time since they had left.

"Carla, Ana can someone please tell me what has happened." Carla looked up at him as she sat down tears streaming down her face as Ana sat next to her and held her hand.

"We have to tell our family what we are the choices that Zeus gave us were that he could give them a happy long human life but it would have to be without us. Or he could make them immortal." Carla was sobbing now as Ana spoke. Christian was so confused.

"Make them immortal I don't see that you have any other choice you cannot lose your family, especially the children." He was a little panicked at the thought of never having the children he had grown to love in his life.

"Christian, Izzy and the children will be immortal regardless their power is waiting for them somewhere I just have to find it. I already have Ava's inside me It's the power I took from Hera. However Ray, Elliot, Kate and Benji are humans and we are not allowed to make the choice for them, Zeus said they have to make it. We have to tell them what we are."

Carla started to sob again as the twins walked over to her touching each side of her face "Gammie please don't be sad, shall we get Grandpops he can give you a hug, it works if Mommy is sad. Daddy hugs her and she smiles again." Theo was talking in his small voice that was the sweetest sound he had ever heard.

"Maybe Daddy can give you hugs until Grandpops gets here Gammie will that help?" This time it was Abigail who spoke and he had never in his existence heard anything more pure or kind than they way his twins were trying to help their grandmother it was the sweetest most loving thing he had ever witnessed.

"Oh sweet babies thank you so much I think your idea to get Grandpops here is wonderful and..." Before she could finish Ana stood up shouting 'NO' at the twins but it was to late he saw what she had seen only for him it was Ray suddenly appearing in their front room.

"What the fuck just happened?" He looked terrified. He was in his work clothes holding some kind of work tool in his hand that was visibly shaking. He looked around the room. Fuck if Ray saw Ana he would be killed he looked over to her to see that she was gone and he breathed a sigh of relief.

He saw movement from the side seeing Ana walk in from the dining area looking scared at what they would now have to explain to her Dad. "Hi Dad we need to talk can you sit please it's important." She walked over to him and his heart broke for Ana when Ray stepped back away from her touch but he knew it was only from fear at what had just happened.

"How am I here what happened?" Ana's shoulders slumped as she sat down .

"Dad please sit we will explain everything please." For the first time he heard Ray angry.

"I DON'T WANT TO FUCKING SIT DOWN I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING." Ok so Christian understood that he was scared but still he wasn't going allow him to speak to Ana like that nor was he going to allow him to scare his children who were now standing behind his legs.

"Ray I understand your frustrated and scared but I would appreciate it if you wouldn't speak to my wife like that and keep your voice down as you are scaring my children." When he heard Christian talking he looked over to him and down at the twins who were slowly walking around to stand in front of Christian. Ray took another step back.

"How is this possible? they were babies" Carla stood up to walk over to him but he held his hands out for her to stop.

"Ray we aren't human I am a Titaness my real name is Dione, Ana as of today is a Goddess and Christian isn't Christian he is Lucifer." She said it all in a rush as Ana and Christian looked from Carla to Ray in shock .

"What the fuck Mom couldn't you have sugar coated it or something you can't just come out and say it like that." Carla turned to look at Ana shrugging her shoulders.

"What's the point Ana he is going to find it all out anyway so what is the point in sugar coating anything."

Christian looked over to see Ray had taken the opportunity of no one watching him to back up towards the elevator. 'Yeah sorry buddy you can't leave just yet.' He thought as he shimmered to the door in time for Ray to turn around at hearing the elevator door opening, but instead of walking into the elevator he walked straight in to Christian with such force it knocked him on his ass.

"Sorry Ray you can't leave just yet." He held his hand out to help Ray up but he was backing away from him still on the floor.

"Don't touch me, stay away from me." The twins walked over to him both standing on either side of Ray holding their little hands on his face a white light shined from their hands making Rays eyes glow. What the fuck are they doing he stepped forward but was stopped by Ana.

"Christian let them, just watch." She was looking at them with so much pride as they did what ever the fuck they were doing. When they finished and stood back smiling Ray looked at them smiling and tears streaming down his face.

"You are so beautiful both of you." He sounded like he was in awe of them. He stood up and walked over to the sofa sitting down looking so much calmer.

"Ana what did they just do?" She looked from the twins who were now holding her hands and smiled up at him.

"They showed Ray what they will do for this world, what we will do for this world. The good that we will all do, they showed him the world he could be a part of and they gave him the courage he needed to hear what we had to tell him." He looked down at the twins who looked up at him with little worried expressions on their beautiful faces.

Both talking at once they walked up to him. "Did we do good Daddy? We just didn't like seeing Grandpops like that Daddy he was scared of us, did you not feel him being scared. We didn't like it. We just wanted to help, did we do good?" He crouched down in front of them opening his arms as they ran into him.

"Oh my sweet babies you did something amazing I am so so proud of you. Daddy was just a bit shocked that's all I am learning what you can do remember, so please don't ever worry especially not when you do something so wonderful and loving." He stood again seeing Ana looking at him he had never loved his family more than in this moment.

Carla smiled at the twins before looking over to Ray "I am sorry my darling, that you have to find out like this we did want to ease you into it but the twins didn't want me upset so they brought you here." He nodded and held his hand out for Carla to take which she did with a sigh of relief.

They had sat for hours explaining everything to him watching as he cried when Ana had told him that she had died, the shock at what she was now, the shock at who Carla was and pure anger knowing that someone was out to hurt his family.

They had now come to the part where they gave him his choice. He sat in silence for what felt like hours before he shook his head and stood "I won't make this choice without talking to my children we all need to talk about this together but I think the twins need to be present because have a feeling that their reaction will very much be like mine. You need to bring them all here." He looked at the twins shaking his head with a smile. "Not you two they need to come here normally." The twins smiled and ran over to him to jump on his knee.

"Ok grandpops we won't bring them." Christian walked over to the sofa smiling.

"Ok I'm gonna call them now, we can invite everyone for dinner, might as well have everyone here. Christian can you call your brothers. Mom can you sort food and drinks no coffee I don't want Huldah feeling sick." Ray sat and watched everyone get to work with the twins on his lap he smiled as he watched Carla glamour food and drink on the dining table that she had moved against the wall with nothing but a thought.

"Ok I have to say that is neat if I say yes will I be able to do that?" Carla turned smiling and nodded her head.

This was going to be a long fucking night that was for sure.
