Chapter 52

June 28, 2021; Sunday

(Morning)

"Okay, now that's out of the way… ", Kazuhiko started

Loki and Sigyn both tried to not look each other in the eye.

"Let's go over the plans for today."

"Perhaps we should drop by the Kirijo research center? I'm sure our friend Izanagi may have some way to help us familiarize with our target", Tyr said.

All eyes instantly went to Nanako at the mere mention. She shrugged her shoulders.

"Why're you all looking at me? She's just my boss, I don't know anything much about her personally."

"*sigh*, figured as much," Johei muttered.

"To be completely honest, I didn't want to get involved with the Shadow Operatives in the first place; It already worried me when Big Bro started working with them, but I wanted to learn more about myself when Toyota- I mean Sigyn was present."

"Either way", Yoichi said

"It would be best to try and consult with Narukami-senpai and Izanagi-senpai regarding Kirijo-san. Plus, I think Mimir might be able to expand his databanks by checking through the files there"

"If we can get our hands on some information that hasn't been made public, it might even help us with finding out who the harbingers truly are", Mimir added.

"What're we waiting for then? Where's the place at?" Yuriko asked.

Kirijo Research Center; Records Department

"Well… this was bigger than I thought", Yuriko stated as they walked into the grand library of information and documents.

The room already took three whole floors with thousands of binders on the shelves. Among them were hundreds of people walking in and out of the room with several stacks of paper. The secretary at the table was swamped with work as people came to her desk for copy permits and for various directions of different records.

"I never came to this section before, mainly because I wasn't cleared for access", Nanako said between glances around.

"We're definitely going to find something in here!", Sigyn excitedly said as she disappeared into some shelves.

"Wait! Hold on!", Skadi said as she followed her.

They didn't come back anytime soon, causing their users to worry. However, not long later, they heard their shouts.

"Nanako-nee? Kazu-nii? We're lost!"

"Over here!", Loki shouted in their direction.

Moments later, they came back.

"Let's try not to get separated from each other while we look", Yoichi suggested.

"Try not to make a big mess, alright guys?" Yu asked them.

"I've got something to take care of right now so if you need any access to records, talk to the secretary. I've given her an explanation on things so you now have access to all records despite their restriction level."

As he left them, Kaz decided to take a look around.

"Okay then. Let's see what we can find about Mitsuru Kirijo."

Several hours later…

"Ugh, my head feels like it's gonna blow up~", Johei exclaimed after closing a thick binder.

"Just a few more pages", Mimir said while scanning his current documents.

"I more or less know some of this stuff, but it always cuts out the important things", Nanako sighed.

"Where's the information about Mitsuru-san?"

Iselin and Yuriko had decided to call a break and walked out for some fresh air while Mikan, Johei, Nanako and Yoichi were looking over documents on the Kirijo Group. Meanwhile, Kaz went back to the shelves to put away some files he had just finished. His eyes glanced over a label that seemed to catch his eye.

"Hm? What's this?"

He brushed his finger over the dust-covered label to read the words.

"Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad? What is this?"

He beckoned for the secretary to unlock the cabinet and pulled it open. Surprisingly, it contained only one file. He brought it back to the group.

"Please tell me you found something useful. I don't want to keep digging around just to read 'No further details have been recorded'", Johei groaned.

"I think this might be something we're looking for", Kaz said as he set the file down on the desk.

A few papers spilled out showing several photographs of highschoolers. Passing around the documents, everyone started to attentively read them.

"Why are there a bunch of high schoolers in this thing?"

"Wait, there's a paper about Mitsuru-san here", Nanako said.

She brought it to the center of the table for everyone to read it.

Name: Mitsuru Kirijo

DOB: May 8, 1991

Details: Mitsuru Kirijo was the heiress of the Kirijo Group and one of the three founding members of SEES, along with Akihiko Sanada and Shinjiro Aragaki. The three were the first known people to be able to wield the power of Persona, Kirijo's being Penthesilea. Following the accident at Gekkoukan High, she and several other Kirijo Group officials awakened to a phenomenon they later dubbed as "The Dark Hour", a hidden 25th hour where monsters known as Shadows roamed. After their formation, SEES had set out to explore the nightmarish tower called Tartarus to search for a way to end the hidden hour once and for all. After many trials and new additions to the team, the hour was eventually vanquished.

"This is what Mitsuru-san did as a high schooler? Man, she was kind of like us!", Yoichi said.

"Yeah… actually, I think I might have remembered about this. Johei, remember what Minako-nee-san told us? That she and a group of friends had their ordeal?"

"I think so… hold on."

Johei went back to the file and shuffled through the papers before pulling one out.

"Aha! Found it! Here she is!"

Looking over the paper, they both saw a younger version of Minako's face at the top.

"Man, she looks so young in this photo!"

"Careful. If you say that near her, she'll think you're calling her old."

Johei scratched his head in embarrassment as Yoichi took a few of the pages out for Mimir to scan.

"Hm? Who is this?"

Mimir beckoned at a page containing the picture of a blue-haired boy with a listless expression.

"Minato Arisato? It says here that he's related to Minako-san", Yoichi said.

Johei and Kaz walked over to him to see the page and read it over.

Name: Minato Arisato

DOB: March 31, 1992

Details: His parents had died from a car crash during the Gekkoukan High School incident during the Dark Hour. From the accident, only two survivors remained: Himself and his younger twin sister Minako. The two have been moving from family to family for many years before returning to Iwatodai in 2009. During one of the shadow incidents, the two showed their aptitude to use Persona and the elder twin was appointed as the de facto leader of SEES until its disbandment. Due to unknown circumstances, Minato died shortly after the Dark Hour incident was resolved on March 5th.

"Nee-san had an older brother? She never mentioned that when she was with us", Kaz said.

"Let's ask her about it another time. Right now, we might have some lead as to what is causing Mitsuru-san to commit suicide."

Further investigation of the notes revealed more information about the team and their activities during the 2009-2010 year. An interesting tidbit of information was brought to their eyes upon stumbling over a certain character.

"Shuji Ikutsuki? Says here that this guy never had a Persona? What's so special about him?"

"It says here that he betrayed the group and nearly killed all of them. Along with that, he appeared to have some shady research done while working as a Kirijo Group Scientist", Mimir said.

Daichi turned to the next page of his binder and let out a gasp of shock.

"More than just shady. What this guy did was beyond terrible."

At this point, Iselin and Yuriko returned and were looking over the notes with renewed motivation.

"What did he do? Experiment on children or something?", Iselin asked.

"Yep. Hey, looks like Minazuki-san was one of them!"

Yuriko looked over the page and glared at the picture of the scar-faced red head.

"And he sure wasn't the last one. It says here that he was able to snag several Kirijo Group scientists to perform these experiments with him. One even was able to procure some Kirijo funds as well; it went unnoticed until well into 2013."

"That's it!"

Kaz walked over and read over the file.

"This might be what is causing Mitsuru-san to commit suicide! She was the head of the Kirijo Group after her father's death and she was unknowingly funding research to labs that made artificial Persona users!"

"Although there's something that confuses me", Iselin started.

"If Minazuki was one of the experimented children, why is he working for Kirijo-san?"

Nanako sighed as she stood up and stretched.

"No idea to be honest. All I know is that he and Big Bro have a good standing with each other so I guess he might have talked him into it."

"Wonder what he's doing right now anyways… ", Kaz thought.

"Megidoloan!"

Sho cringed at the sight of Elizabeth commanding a hulking personification of death as it cast a spell on equal levels of destruction as a few nuclear bombs. Labrys, however, was checking the condition of her axe, trying to sharpen any dull parts of the instrument.

"Geez, I'm never gonna get used to seeing her do that. Makes me pissed off that I actually lost to her a couple minutes ago."

Sho, being Sho, was always itching for a fight. So when he was on the escort job for Elizabeth, he stupidly asked for a match between them. Several moments later, he was lying face-down on the ground bleeding from his abdomen. Thankfully, it was nothing that a quick Samarecarm couldn't fix.

"You should have known that was an idiotic idea to challenge a former Velvet Room attendant", Tsukuyomi chided him.

"Aw shut up! I don't wanna hear that from you."

"Please… please stop… I don't even want to do this anymore… ", the hulking shadow on the ground cried out to the blue-clad woman.

"I'm terribly sorry, but as long as you keep reincarnating and calling out for Nyx to appear, I simply must not stop in your complete obliteration".

Erebus cried in pain as Thanatos plunged its sword into his head, once again causing Sho to shiver.

"So, is that it?"

"Yes, for now that is all I require from you two. However, I believe we had another request to fulfill on behalf of a Mitsuru Kirijo"

Labrys nodded and brought out a letter from her pocket.

"Despite the whole rule sayin' that we shouldn't interfere wit' this generation's Persona users", she started

"Mitsuru-san gave me some orders to perform a certain rescue in here."

She handed the letter to Minazuki who read it over and then once more.

"What? But why are we rescuing this person? 'Sides, ain't this the kiddos' job?"

Labrys shook her head.

"No, they won't make it in time. Regardless, this is more or less a ploy to give them a little edge. On the other hand, we've got some other stuff to settle here; this was partially the Kirijo Group's fault too."

Now Sho was even more confused. What else did that red-head and her old man do to cause this now? Surely, it wouldn't have been as bad as what he had done… Sho handed the letter back to Labrys who returned it to her pocket.

"All set to go, Ariadne?"

"Yes, let's continue on to find our target."

Ariadne produced a mass of red string and cast it up into the air until it eventually made a path for them to get to the next floor.

"I must say, that ability is certainly useful here", Tsukuyomi noted as he looked down the hallway.

"Why couldn't you have a better sense of direction when we first came here?"

"Cuz' nothin' ventured, nothin' gained! 'Sides, those kids were doing alright on their own that time."

Rolling his eyes, Tsukuyomi nodded over to Elizabeth.

"Also, would you please activate the cloaking to cover our prese-"

"Actually, there is one thing that I would like to do before that operation", Elizabeth suddenly announced.

She produced a coupon from out of thin air.

"There is still so much that I wish to discover about this location! A passerby happened to give this limited 30% off coupon to me for an order exceeding 10 items! According to this, the offer expires in 10 minutes! I must make use of this deal that they are offering while sampling their cuisine!"

"*sigh*, of course it's now."

Ariadne's string now returned to her only to point in the opposite direction of the hallway.

"You sure you can't control that thing?", Labrys asked her Persona out of annoyance.

"I cannot. After all, fate wills it so."

"Geez, this place better be worth the trip. I just wanna finish this job as soon as possible."

"It is the Kyuto branch of Wild Duck Burger."

"SONUVA-!"

Mirror Dimension; Niflheim (Floor 68)

(Afternoon)

"Be careful, guys. I'm sensing something really powerful on the other side of this door."

Yoichi swapped screens before raising an eyebrow.

"Hm? What's up?", Kaz asked.

"It seems quite contradictory… but I'm sensing that our target is no longer in the tower", Mimir said.

"What?"

"Yeah, it says on my phone that Mitsuru isn't here anymore. Any idea on what that means?", Yoichi asked.

He showed the rest of the team his phone and, sure enough, Mitsuru Kirijo was nowhere to be found.

"Curious. But this is the point we could not access without knowing of Kirijo-san's inner turmoil, correct? Then what was the point of the information gathering?", Skadi pondered.

"Ah, who cares?! Let's just check what this thing is on the other side of this door and kick its ass already! If it ain't Mitsuru, then we got a job well done!"

Iselin pushed past the group and placed her hands on the door to push it open, only to be thrown back.

"Iselin?! What the hell just happened?!"

As Johei went to help her up, everyone else turned to look on the other side of the door. Nanako paled at the mere sight of her, and so did everyone else. It was a wide open room with a single light source from the ceiling. The one who opened the door was in the middle of the room with her arm outstretched. Locks of crimson red hair sprouted from her head, contrasting with the white fur coat she wore and the black cat-suit underneath. Yoichi focused his eyes on their attacker and suddenly yelled out.

"It's Mitsuru-san!"

"What?!"

"I don't know how she got here, but this is definitely our target!"

Kazuhiko got into a fighting stance with Tyr ready by his side.

"Run a scan on her strengths and weaknesses! Nanako and I'll get onto debuffing her."

Nanako ran her fingers on a loose metal collar on her neck and pulled it off, prompting Sigyn to hold out her arm with the bowl and snake. The snake hissed and a befuddling cloud of mist poured from the bowl.

"Pulinpa!"

However, Mitsuru swept her arm, causing a large figure to appear out of the blue, effectively blowing away the mist. Nanako looked bewildered at the sight of the figure.

"No way… it's Artemisia!"

"It's Artemisia-senpai!"

"Senpai? You mean that's her Persona?", Loki asked.

"Why don't you try talking to her then? If she's got a Persona, then she shouldn't be in any danger. Just calm her down and expla- wha- WAAAGH!"

Loki was suddenly pulled in by the Persona's whip and sent flying with a front kick. He landed a few meters away where Johei knelt by his side.

"Holy shit, are you okay?"

"Yeah, it's gonna talk more than that to take me down."

"... Did you take a look under her dress?"

"Why'd you have to remind me now?! Aw hell, why didn't I think of that?!"

"Uh, hello? Can you two not perv out for two seconds?", Yuriko asked.

She circled around Mitsuru, looking for an opening to strike. Nanako, on the other hand, tried speaking to her.

"Mitsuru-san! It's alright, we're not here to hurt you."

Mitsuru made no sudden movements, but then suddenly lunged at Nanako with Artemisia right behind her. Thanks to the long barrels of her pistols, Nanako was able to deflect the rapier thrust, but all hope of convincing Mitsuru went out the window the second she saw her eyes.

The cold look that Mitsuru cast onto her kouhai was only intensified by the golden-yellow hue on her irises. Nanako's grip on her pistols could only hold for so long, so she opted to let Mitsuru win the struggle and swerve her to her side. Seizing the moment, Nanako used the momentum to perform a roundhouse kick towards Mitsuru's temple only to be blocked by Artemisia.

"S-Sigyn!"

"Right! Poisma!"

A small purple cloud sprouted from the bowl and hovered around Mitsuru; a point-blank ailment spell.

"Alright, looks like she's poisoned! Now get out of her reach, Nanako-san!"

Nanako nodded and quickly jumped back into Sigyn's grip. She was carried a short distance away before the cloud dissipated.

"Guys, this isn't the real Mitsuru-san! It's a shadow!"

Yoichi activated his scanner and checked through to their adversary before replying.

"That's odd. It looks as if this is the real Mitsuru. But she already has a Persona, doesn't she?"

"A few years back, big bro and his friends dealt with something similar to this. She's probably a shadow molded into her image, and the Persona's most likely a shadow too."

Yoichi's eyes continued to linger on the scanner but then changed tabs.

"Alright then, I've got here basic skills listed down. Everyone, be wary of strong ice attacks!"

Johei nodded and gestured for Loki.

"Gimme a hand here!"

"On it!"

Loki picked Johei with one arm and tossed him into the air above Mitsuru. Johei poised his spear down at her with his feet holding the polearm at the correct angle.

"Now, Loki!"

"Garula!"

Johei suddenly plummeted down to the ground with the help of the wind spell pushing him. Mitsuru, however, simply sidestepped and Johei's spear plunged into the ground.

"Crap! I need some cover over here!"

"On it!"

Mitsuru was about to strike Johei but then backed off from the series of projectiles from Mikan and Nanako's weapons. Looking irked for the first time since the entire battle, Mitsuru turned her attention back to Johei. Suddenly, a bright pink cloud formed from the sleeve of Artemisia until it wafted over to a preoccupied Johei, trying to pull his spear out of the ground.

"Al… most… got it! Ha! Wha- *sniff* what is this… "

Yoichi's eyes bulged out of his head before turning to Iselin.

"Quick! Get him out of there!"

Iselin complied and pulled Johei out of the cloud while holding her breath.

"Geez, he's so heavy… What was that stuff anyways?"

As she was dragging Johei's unconscious body, she suddenly felt his hand brush her arm.

"Huh, are you awake already? Come on! Let's! … go?"

Johei stood up and spun his spear into position before turning around and pointing it at Yuriko. His face was a bright pink and his eyes seemed glazed over.

"Hey, pervert, you're really scaring me here, y'know that?"

"Oh shit, it's too late. It's already affecting him", Yohei said.

"What? What's affecting him."

"Marin Karin, an ailment spell. It charms the target to fight on the caster's side. It's potency is also effectively proportional to the target's interest in the caster", Mimir recited, already sounding like he regretted everything.

"... Aw hell."

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand we are back! Hey guys, sorry that I've been incredibly late (8 months? Yikes, this story's birthday chapter is long overdue!) I know that this seems very lacking in content, but believe me, it'll be worth it once this arc is over. I've been dragged down with assignments after assignments and could hardly spend any time on this story, so I hope you all will forgive me. Anyways, I had meant for this to be a filler kind of chapter to set the stage for what is to come; just bear with me for a shadow fight next chapter and you'll see what I'm talking about. Since I've been out of contact with you guys, my life so far has been kind crappy, but it could be worse. If any of you know how it is possible for someone to hook up during COVID time, please tell me how it's possible. At this moment, 4 of my very close friends have managed to get into a relationship that has been holding up (yes, they got into a relationship during quarantine, despite them being VERY careful). As for games, I've been deviating a bit from Persona 5, since I've completed the game (a long overdue time, I know) I've tried my hand at some others and am currently grinding in Yakuza 0. Any old-school beat-em-up gamers who are reading my story at this point, I highly recommend. Speaking of beat-em-ups, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World game is back! Big part of my life right there, so naturally, I bought it and it has been an absolute steal of a deal. But, I digress. I have spent enough of my break putting this story off and it is now time to finish it. And, since you guys have been waiting patiently, I'll reward you guys with not one, but two omakes including Nanako's interview! Keep in mind that by the time that I publish this on the site, my spring semester is starting so it'll be some time before you hear from me again (not too long; I'll be back sooner than this gap). As for now, enjoy your interview and omakes! Seeya!

Interview with Nanako Dojima and Sigyn

DangstaBOI: Alright, so I want this to be absolutely perfect! With all the time this show's been gone into production, we finally made enough budget to have cassy stuff. I want a professional band, I want upgraded equipment, I want to have the real scenery of New York in the backdrop. Do not hold off on any expense! It's do or die time, folks! It's either we succeed and get renewed for the foreseeable future, or we get discontinued with all my other projects!

Nanako: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

*crashes through the ceiling*

DangstaBOI: Okay, I clearly remember giving a complete set of instructions to walk our guest through the door. Not flying through the window, not crashing her through the wall with all our budget spent on explosives, and especially not dropping her in through the ceiling!

Nanako: Oh can it, you know that I'm the half reason your story even got this popular.

DangstaBOI: Do you want me to give you an ending that all childhood friends get?

*Nanako violently grabs DangstaBOI's collar*

Nanako: Don't. You. Dare.

Sigyn: Nanako-nee, maybe we should not hit our creator?

Nanako: I was born and bred in Inaba, buster. I will not let you do anything without me saying okay for it. If you dare make him fall for Yuriko, I will have you drinking steak skewers out of a straw!

Sigyn: Nanako-nee, please don't resort to violence!

Nanako: *sigh* fine.

*Nanako walks over to her chair before giving DangstaBOI one last glare*

D: Okay… whew… alright, point made. Let's, uh, get this show on the road then?

D: Alright then, first question: "Did Doujima know anything about falling from the train platform in Chapter 2?"

N: No worries, I didn't get a scar or anything. I only got out with a little bump, but nothing too worrying. Big bro never looked so relieved, and Dad didn't find out.

D: Also, speaking of which, is the Loveline series still going? If so, what do you think about it?

N: Well, there was an effort to reboot the series, but it kind of fell through after being in development hell. At least they released a BluRay collection of the original series.

D: Also on the topic, some readers were kind of disappointed that you hid your love for Loveline. WHy did you do that?

N: Well, I mean, it was kind of my childhood memories and I did a lot of things that would be embarrassing to do right now. In a sense, it's kind of like wanting to hide your baby pictures from your friends.

D: Really? I never tried that when my friends were over at my place.

N: Did they ever find these pictures?

*Nanako holds up incriminating photos of Dangsta dressed up in his Halloween costume when he wa-*

D: Wh-hey! Gimme those! Jesus, where did you even find these? Well, let's go onto the next question. What if you're tailing Kazuhiko as bad as Nijima Makoto of the Phantom Thieves? You know, including covering yourself with an upside-down manga?

N: Ha! She actually did that? Wow, I never thought that she'd do that. Maybe I should update my mental image of her. But, that's ridiculous, I'd never do that.

S: But Nanako-nee, you did. Back in Chapter 5-

N: Nope! Nope! I never did that! I never did anything like that at all! And If I did that, I would have erased it from existence!

D: But that's my powe-

N: ERASE IT!

D: Alright! Alright! Geez, never expected this to get violent…

D: Considering your bad habit to snatch the SPT's supplies on the Safe Rooms without giving the replacements or even carrying your own supplies? Did you feel that you're starting to become… Goldilocks, like what the Crows and me think? And related to this question, what do you think if the Fairytale DLC for OLP exists and your costume is… Goldilocks'?

N: I mean, I did replace some of the stuff now and then, but I never really did have a lot of cash. I thought that replacing enough of the items to make it seem as if there weren't any that were taken would make it look less suspicious.

D: But it made you more suspicious since Kaz was keeping track.

N: Look, I didn't know that!

D: Alright then. And that little tidbit about the DLC?

N: We're not a game.

D: … *sniff* moving on. What if you and Yuriko end up like Korra and Asami?

N: I'm sorry, what?

D: You know, instead of one of you getting Kaz, you end up together.

N: I-wh-d-huh? You're joking, right?

D: Dead serious. Or, at least the guy asking the question is serious.

N: I mean, come on! Oh well, it's just a joke, so I'm not answering that!

D: *checks phone* Actually, it just went viral. Man, that is a lot of fanart. Holy crap, is that a doujin?! Wow, all kinds of people.

N: WHAT?! You know what, it's not gonna happen! Stop doing that!

D: Alright, how about we give you a little break and move onto Sigyn? How does it feel to be married to Loki and his shenanigans?

S: Oh, well, that was just in a past life, so he's not exactly the same as he was before. If you look deep enough into Nordic mythology, you'll see that Loki was actually pretty neglectful, and he would always cheat on me, not to mention verbally abuse me. Oh, he also somehow got my two children to pay for his last trick which caused one of them to turn into a wolf and kill the other and the dead one's intestines were used as chains to bind him to-

D: Okay, please stop. I think we've heard enough of that.

N: Holy… if Loki ever does anything to you, please just tell Skadi or Gertrude and they'll handle it from there.

S: Hm? What will they do? What are they handling?

D: God, you are too pure for this world. Alright then, Nanako, back to you.

N: Okay

D: How did Doujima get promoted and transferred to Nuzoko in the first place? And does his promotion have something to do with the Kirijo Group pulling the strings?

N: Well, to be honest, he was long overdue for a promotion. Kirijo-san just got all the paperwork done earlier than usual since she needed me to infiltrate the SPT.

D: Okay then. On that note, does Dojima know anything about the Shadow Operatives? If not, when do you plan on telling him?

N: Dad is… not very open about me doing these kinds of things. I mean, he knows about big bro, but he's okay with him since he's had experience. Maybe when I become an official member, I'll come clean. For now though, I'll just keep it under wraps.

D: How much did you know about Kaz's past stigma as a "Mere Demon/Devil Child", and what is your opinion of it and people's reaction to those stigmas?

N: Well, if anything, I kind of thought it sounded pretty cool. A few other kids were saying that they had "demon powers" and all sorts of stuff so I kind of took it in stride. Of course, he told me what really happened and I can't help but feel bad for him. Well, he's nothing like a demon at that point, so I really thought people were just exaggerating, or the people who rescued him from the car crash misheard his mother.

D: Since we know that you became acquainted with Sigyn after the kidnapping it was only a matter of time before Yu found out. How long did it take him to tell you about Personas, and when you tell Yu regarding Sigyn?

N: So, actually, Rise-chan found Toyotama back then, saying that there was a strange reading in my hospital room. Big bro and his friends ran in but couldn't find anyone until Toyotama spoke. A few days after I left the hospital, he and Izanagi talked to me about everything.

D: Also, regarding the P4 Arena games, Nanako disappeared and wasn't part of the fighting due to Minazuki seeking out Yu and Mitsuru's groups. Nanako couldn't really fight anyways, so he kind of skipped over her.

D: Can you tell us about some of your friends back in Inaba, Nanako?

N: Wait, really? You're asking a regular question now?

D: Yeah. I mean, I'm not the one asking these questions since I already know all their answers.

N: Okay then, well Yuuta has been a friend of mine since we had the same class in middle school, but he's all over Mai right now. She keeps on rejecting his offers, but I think he's growing on her! Not that she'd ever admit it…

D: Boy am I looking forward to dropping hints about that later on… Next question. Have you ever watched… Puella Magi Madoka Magica? Oh hell no!

*Dangsta crumbles the paper and throws it into the wastebasket*

D: We are not gonna open up that can of fake hopes and dreams! No way, no thank you, not today!

N: Never heard of that show before. What's it about?

D: Nothing you ever need to know if you value your happiness. Also, if an alien cat asks if you want to become a magical girl, do not accept its invitation. If anything, punt that little shit out your window.

D: Okay, you know what? Let's get to the last question. What kind of names were you planning for your kids with Kaz?

N: Wh-WHAT?! I mean, it's not like I was thinking of any names! That's way far into the future. I'm not gonna be thinking of that just yet!

S: Oh, Nanako-nee thought up a lot of names like Ryuto and Sora for boys and Chisato and Eiko for girls.

N: WHY DID YOU TELL HIM THAT?!

S: Oh, was I not supposed to say that? I mean, you never told me not to. Personally, I thought Kazuhiko Jr. was kind of cute.

N: NONONONONONONO STOP TALKING!

D: Well then, as much as I want to tease Nanako endlessly for this, we've reached the end of our time here. See you next time for our finale with the entire cast!

SPT Dreams

Johei's Dream

"Johei, I know that I've been acting strange lately, but it's because I realized I'm in love with you!"

"Man, you can still beat me in a fight even though I can use multiple Personas. I'm glad I have you as a partner."

"Shiroka-san! You've been unanimously chosen as the hottest guy in school! Any comments?"

"Thank you, thank you, all of you. I just want to say that I really don't deserve an honor like this. But if it makes everyone happy, I will take up that mantle. Now, Mika-senpai, how about a smooch?"

Loki watches Johei in his bed, reaching out his arms with his lips puckered, attempting to kiss a pillow.

"Heh heh, I am so saving this photo."

Iselin's Dream

"Iselin… "

Daichi was carrying Iselin in a bridal carry, his red hair flowing in the wind as Iselin stared into his eyes.

"Your lips look so cold… Let me warm them up for you… "

As Daichi neared closer to her face, Iselin closed her eyes and puckered up her lips until-

Yuriko's Dream

"Mm, Kazuhiko, I love you so much."

"And I love you so much, too, Yuriko."

Nanako's Dream

"Thanks for inviting me over for coffee, Yuriko-chan. What was it you wanted to talk to me about?"

"Well, it was about our mutual interest in Sukima-senpai."

"Oh really? If that's so, then I won't mind if you are after his affection. Although I'm not gonna let you win that easy."

"Actually, I wanted to ask about your feelings for me."

"Huh?"

Yuriko then leans forward and cups Nanako's cheek in her hand.

"I-I-I I'm sorry, Yuriko-chan! I'm in love with Kaz! I'm straight!"

"So is spaghetti, until it gets wet… "

Yuriko leaned in closer until Nanako could feel her breath on her lips.

"AAAAAAHHH!"

Nanako woke up with a start before seeing that it was time to get up. Looking at her desk, she shook her head.

"It was all a dream. Just a dream. A dream I should keep to myself and never admit to."
