As per "Let The Sunshine In" I consider this the canon ending to Metamorphosis. Although I think some of you are very dedicated and keep track of kills and what not, so please, use which ever ending you see fit to track.

9th Theilan Caldron

Theilan was great. Although you said the forms could be better, Haiden, I disagree. I was mostly surprised at how much some of you vibed with the pairing of him and Zahira. Zahira was the no-nonsense go-getter while he played the part of conscientious objector. The role of peacemaker on the grand stage was taken by Wondr'a part way through the 'thought cycle' of who I wanted to be victor. But he, if he won, would pay the same role as Wondr'a does now. The backstory he made me think about was absolutely great, coupled with Zahira. If I were the same age I was now before I started the SYOT altogether, I would've made his intro a zillion times better.

I he were a victor, he'd be a soft rebel, rebelling where change could actually be made.

Vera's iteration? Zero kills. Sarissa's? Zero. Zahira's? One. Wondr'a's? Zero.

8th Kaviraya Parathi

He's Twenty-six years old, yet acts like he's fifty with the whole wide world on his shoulders. He was incredibly mature. And I don't think I had him living that long. I chose Theilan over him in terms of who would live longer...depending on which ending you consult! Haha. But yes, I had a scene in which he and Tuesday would kill Theilan before the finale and then Wondr'a would kill him and link up with Zahira. But I smushed it together for the sake of time management.

He had quite some time to spin his life around, but in Panem, you never really know what'll happen. If he were to win, I imagine he would be the type of mentor to kick Twelve into gear, now that Ainsley isn't alone anymore (This might change...another canon alteration, I dunno.). He would've most definitely learned to love again in the form of Mary Dunhill. With the demise of the majority of the Career Pack early on in the Game, I think I may have made him an antagonist and paired him with Tuesday since they were almost the same in terms of ideals. You say he needed more work, I disagree. He was just fine the way he was. I only wish I could go back and bolster the point of views, make them more bulky and retrospective.

Vera's? Three if you count Sarissa. Sarissa's? Two. Zahira's? Two. Wondr'a's? Three.

7th Tuesday Suetos

SHIRO! I heard that you have bad luck with finalists but no victor, I'm so sorry! Tuesday, like I told someone else, reminds me of Nurse Ratched. I wish that show came out when I was writing her intro. I'd make it so much better in that regard. Even now, I'm constantly thinking of spin-off projects in which I could write her one last time. She's so alien, I don't think when I originally got her that she was going to do so well...I think I had her up there, but I didn't imagine how fun she'd be to write. Between her and Alana, Tuesday was no contest to keep. Alana was nice but I didn't have much for her. But Tuesday on the other hand, once I synced her and Kavi up, I had great time thinking up of different scenarios.

Because Piper is more of a 'brains' victor, Tuesday would be the more hands-on victor, a much needed victor. She'd probably kick it with Kanton and adopt and like Kavi, try to learn to develop socially following her trauma within Panem's conservative health system. She may or may not continue with her practice as a surgeon, she might just flat-out retire. I also had in mind her actually taking up her joke of commenting on the Games. She's too old for DeWynter to properly use.

Mhm...A loot of ppl loved her, even people who didn't read too much, I think. I loved her too. If I had to do four alternative endings, she'd be one of them...or maybe I'm stretching, but her place says it all across all endings. If I could swap one out, I'd swap Tuesday with Zahira.

Thank you, Shiro, and thank you - everyone that's voiced her opinion on Tuesday. It's great that he introduced a character that I was apparently able to translate very well into the story.

A lot of characters from this story in general may appear again in some iteration. I have a concept, but I'm still thinking it through.

Vera's? Three if you could Sol. Sarissa's? Two. Zahira's? Three. Wondr'a's? Two.

6th Maia Clear

You were supposed to be a bloodbath I'm so sure of it, yet here you are in the finals! You didn't even have a weapon of choice! So I stuck with what you gave me and you came so far! I enjoyed filling in her blanks so very much.

President DeWynter for sure would've made her a political mouthpiece - her eyes and ears within District 3. I wonder what the dynamic between her and Gwen and Doris would be. Maia would be the more (by point five percent) more outgoing than Gwendolyn. In my head, she triumphs over her fear of fighting and kills Tuesday. That's what I had planned since I finalized the finale and Wondr'a's victor is that in motion.

Zero all throughout until Wondr'a's in which she only has one kill.

5th Solomon Kohli

I really appreciate Solomon because he is the anthem for young adult angst. 5-6 years off of high school, you're still young (just very, VERY independent) and you're wondering, what in the fcuk am I going to do with my life? Sol is that guy to a tee. Sol is me, which is why I click so much with his character. He was always a go-far guy, but I don't think the victor...hmm, yeah.

He'd be a pragmatic mentor, not a robot, but a logical smooth operator, just like the arena. He knows what he wants, so 'trauma' wouldn't be much of a thing. He'd just go back, make sure life is good for his family and enjoy his spoils. The President would have a field day with him as she does other desirables.

What pains me the most is Arminda...I loved that relationship so much and I feel so bad for her. Thanks for coming up with her as well. I enjoyed writing her epilogue.

Vera's is Seven...yikes. Sarissa's? what...Three? Zahira is four and Wondr'a is Four.

4th Zahira Kazimirova

Why am I obsessed with ancillary SYOT characters that don't matter? As you might have noticed I am a huge fan of Lucius, her son. So much that I might make him a staple in the future. There isn't much to say that I haven't said in the spin-off. I liked her character, okay? It really delved into the common headcanon that Six, ontop of transport, has some say in the medical industry and therefore a lot of abuse of meds is common. At least she has an alternative universe. I'm glad that she gets a full-fledged ending. She's MIA so she doesn't need a counter.

3rd Sarissa Levesque

You were my logical victor. Like as soon as I got you, you were it. But that would've been kinda boring, unfortunately, so at least you get an alternative universe. I forgot what you said Brames, this could've been us, but I'm playin? Sorry...lool. Besides Ricardo, I wish she had more on-par people to fight. I really enjoyed that fight she had when she returned. You don't watch counts like that, so you don't really need one either.

2nd Veradisia Smith

I was amazed by her plot that you had made for her TJ, I recall spamming your PM system. I was struggling on whether or not to actually go through with it, thus the multiple endings. If I had left Vera's victory like that, that would've pissed people off, which is a good and bad thing, but like them, I dislike rebellions within the universe. Kinda over it, so yeah! The Capitol would've let her leave the arena alive and would probably let her die on a gurney and claim it to be an accident. "She's too dangerous to be kept alive".

In general, I liked her...but I think following the 'ending', everyone is in agreement that it's a little much. Way too bittersweet. We'd probably prefer that the Games continue. That makes us just as bad but...y'know.

You don't do counts, so no need.

1st Wondr'a Okafor - TJ with the two-times. I kinda surprised you guys with the last one, didn't I?

My arena was set (multi-changing biome) and then I get Wondr'a, a part-time hippie who would rather be full-time but was pushed into the science field. Everything from her Games strategy to her weapons of choice made her a great choice, in my opinion, to have her go far and whatnot. Ida said that she was too sad sorta and I agree, but we both agreed that if she found her groove, she could win and that's what I had planned all along. I'm pretty sure she succeeded Sarissa a year ago. As soon as I got her, I enjoyed her.

I would've continued writing, but it'd be a little bit too much. She's pregnant with twins. A rare, tongue-in-cheek scenario where she loses one baby and gains two. Two daughters or a daughter and a son I am still debating, however the name of one of them would be "Maia Mae" out of respect for Maia Clear. Mhm. She would go around each district and listen to their plights and throw her weight behind causes that are considered "plausible" for reform by the Capitol regime. The real-life Ambassador Bridge in Detroit, would be renamed the Theilan Caldron Memorial Bridge after the countless times he'd save people from jumping. In my headcanon in order to ease boat traffic, foot traffic was constructed and Panem being Panem people jump. Theilan stopped a lot of people therefore he gets a bridge. Zahira would have the clinic named after her as well as an expansion which would include Theilan's namesake in the form of a mental health clinic. The drug plot is discovered. Otel would be introduced to the twins once they're born. But I think "Let The Sunshine In" should serve as a self-serving story for the most part because she deserves self-serving.

My only regret is that I wish I could go back and re-write the intros. They'd be a zillion times better (and longer). Thanks for submitting her, TJ...Please come back...

-In general...I disliked the story overall. I think it goes to show you, as I've said to other people in talks with it, that the Games are such a waste and it's amplified with adults going in. Especially the fact that because of my headcanon, any significant rebels were killed or tossed into camps and withered away over the last 25 years. I'm surprised that not a lot of rebels were submitted...they were former rebels, not rebels of significance. They hung up their mockingjay banners and went back to life, which makes the hurt all the more worse. Then you had people like Maia and Laelia and Careers like Sol and the rest who wanted a second shot.

These were 'people' with lives, which kinda translates into the drained feeling we all had during the Vera ending.

With everything said and done. The baseline story, plus the alternative victories (and the canon one) on top of the tie-ins like Izzy's prologue and the Top Hunger Games moments, puts the overall word count at 495,025. This isn't a Smash Bros tier fan fic but hey, it's a lot.

Thank you frens for sticking around and reading. Brames came clutch from the shadows, props to you. Sorry for calling Donna Ludra 'Donna'. The reviews, the reviews thank you. Ida Ida, Haidennn, Titanic-X, everyone. Especially the HG Fandom Discord! Yes, thank you, thank you. I wish I had joined earlier. Quietwraith, a pleasant person...Alex.

What's next for Tyler...? I have a few side projects I'd like to publish revolving the universe. Two main ones include OC content, like easy reading stuff as you've sort of seen with my alternative universe victory-thingies. I'd be very happy if you casually followed along without having to worry about rooting for your submission. As I've been telling some of you, its a very very ambitious project. I hope it does well. I think my headcanon warrants this OC content and unlike *some* OC content we see on the site, i.e random Hunger Games within the canon time frame, it's based behind something, which gives it more credence.

OC's aren't exactly hot commodities but I think I'm onto something with this. Some of you may remember a very cringe story I made way back when. That's where Izzy Wilkinson came from. The Emery from that story is being re-invented from Rue clone to someone who can stand on their own. I'm looking forward to it.

Back to schoolwork I go.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
