"...It appears not even Cliamh could stop you." Astra said, sighing. "If you insist on this recklessness, I suppose by the results of the fight, I've no choice to accept it. However, I would like to ask one thing of you." She said.
"What is it?" Drake asked.
"I ask that you wait until tomorrow to go find Azure." Astra said.
"Why tomorrow..?" Kristall asked, before Christopher stepped in, having arrived recently.
"Now that Lux Wyvern and Dusk Leviathan have been forcibly joined, there's no telling what could happen. Not only do we not know where he is, but you should use some time to prepare for such an expedition." Christopher said. "So, let us find Azure before you go off and risk something dangerous." He told Drake.
"...Fine. In that case, I'll be back here tomorrow, and you'll tell me where Azure is." Drake said, Christopher nodding.
"Very well. I recommend you use that time to make sure your deck is as good as it can get." Christopher advised, as Drake started to walk away.
"Still, what's going to happen if they have both Grandmasters?" Marisa asked, as Christopher simply looked up at the sky.
"I wish I knew, but the two uniting in the wrong hands could be a problem for both us and Cray." He answered. "Still, I have a group of people I need to call and inform the situation to. You should probably get going as well, I'm sure Drake will be busy trying to figure out a way to deal with two Grandmasters." Christopher advised, as the two nodded.
"I'll call Ray, he's the one who can readily talk to Gaea as is." Kyros said, Marisa nodding.
And after receiving a phone call, Ray was already at Maxon's door, knocking on it systemically, before Maxon opened the door. "Huh? Aren't you from Azure Crimson?" Maxon asked.
"Yep, figured you'd know about Gaea's whereabouts, considering you're her cousin and whatnot." Ray said. "Simply put, she's probably the least safe out of all of us. I don't deny her fighting ability and all, but..." Ray started.
"But she's timid and can easily be taken by surprise." Maxon finished for him.
"Yeah, pretty much that. So, where can I find her?" Ray asked.
"...I'll tell you on the condition that you tell me something, as well." Maxon said.
"Oh, sure what's up?" Ray asked.
"Tell me everything that's happened, including what went wrong with Azure." Maxon said, simply.
"Ah, Drake's not gonna like me doing that, but Kyros filled me in on that...well, you didn't hear it from me, but..." Ray started.
"Well. I don't think I need to know what he's gonna do about that one, but oh well." Ray said, walking through the streets, before bumping someone by accident. "Whoops, my bad." He started, before noting the person seemed to be a man with sunglasses on, and had medium-length white hair.
"...What deity has cursed me to run into the member of Azure Crimson I despise most?" The boy asked, Ray raising an eyebrow. "Do not think I don't know of you, 'Reaper'. Star Titan watched that entire tournament with eager eyes." He said.
"Ohhh. I get it. You're from Star Titan. So let me guess, you're the douchebag of the group?" Ray asked.
"Watch your tongue, reaper. Our leader may hold your group in high regard, but I do not." They said.
"Oh, sweet lord, you have no idea how much I hope this is really happening." Ray said, grinning.
"As much as I would love to put you in your place, I've matters to attend to with Star Titan. However, should our paths cross again, I will destroy you without mercy." They said, walking away.
"Aww...I was ready to give you your first L. The first one's always special from me." Ray said, fake pouting, but turned and walked away as well.
Still, I never met the guy. Wonder why he hates me so much? Ray wondered to himself while walking.
Elsewhere, Drake was at a table, looking through his cards.
"You look even more upset than usual." A familiar voice commented, as Drake looked over to see Alice casually sit down next to him. "Something on your mind?" She asked.
"...A friend is in trouble, and how I go about this will determine if I get him back or not." Drake answered, simply.
"I see. No wonder you look so stressed out. Still, if he's your friend, you'd know him better than anyone, right?" Alice asked, as Drake's eyes slightly widened.
"You're right...I know Azure better than anyone..." He realized, before taking some of his cards out and putting some in. "But before I can try to get him back, I'm sure I'll be faced with opposition wherever he is." Drake commented.
"Well, I'm not exactly an experienced fighter, but...you sound like you need help. How about I come with you?" Alice offered.
"...No, I can't force that on you, or my teammates." Drake answered.
"But I'm not on your team, and I'm not going to be the one to explain to your dad why you didn't come back." Alice said. "If anything, You have to take me, lest he asks where you are." She said.
"We both know you wouldn't snitch." Drake said.
"True, but we both know you two don't have the best relation as is." Alice said, shrugging. "But if he just hears that we're with each other, he'll just assume we're on a date." She said.
"...I suppose you have a point." Drake admitted.
"Great. Then I take it you'll call once you find out where he is?" Alice asked, as Drake nodded. "Good. I'd have to hunt you down if you didn't." She joked.
"Well, I suppose I'll see you tomorrow, then." Drake said, picking up his cards and starting to walk off.
"It's a date." Alice joked, winking, before heading off herself.
