Garland Moon: For the Future of Fódlan

Dimitri clung to his weapon. "You will punish this world no longer! You should all prepare for your deaths!"

Owain proclaimed, "I am the wolf who howls for justice-"

The dark mage hurled a Miasma spell in his direction. "You are the corpse at my feet!"

Owain dodged and finished, "-The eagle who cries for love! I am Owain Ylisse!" He leapt into the air and struck her with his sword, "And you are the corpse at my feet."

Ophelia burst into applause. "A most spectacular performance, Father! I shall lead the charge as well!" She waltzed onto the battlefield and flung magic from her tome at a sniper. "None can stand the wrath of the enlightened tome Missiletainn!"

Azura ran to her husband's side. "I must never rest until these crimes are stopped for good."

Sophie attacked a myrmidon. "You won't get away with hurting everyone!"

Byleth cut through a war cleric with her upgraded Sword of the Creator. "It's time to purge you evildoers from this land."

Dedue hacked away at some falcon knights. "You may be quick, but the axe falls upon you just the same."

Bernadetta notched an arrow into her bow and fired at a knight. "I know how to break through armor, and I will if I've got to!"

Shigure soared through the sky and swooped down to pierce a general's helmet. "This is your last act!"

The fighting continued, with no sign of stopping. Azura took a deep breath. "Very well. It's up to me to set things on the right course." She began singing her heart out, which invigorated her allies to work twice as hard.

With a newfound strength, Inigo cut through his enemies like butter. "That's my wife, everyone! Isn't she fantastic?!"

Camilla praised, "Precious! I've always loved Azura from the moment I saw her."

Owain locked blades with a mercenary. "Urgh! C-Can't control . . ." He withdrew his sword, moved elegantly to dodge the enemy's swipe at him, and then went for the killing blow.

A war master rushed up to Linhardt and punched him square in the jaw. Blood squirted out of the wound. He moaned. "Ugh. I'm getting used to the sight of blood. That makes me even more nauseous," Linhardt moved back his hand to summon power, and then shot out a Cutting Gale, "Fight, then rest."

Dorothea jumped over the fallen warriors over to Linhardt. "Let me patch that up for you." She healed the scrape, and it was like Linhardt was never struck to begin with. "Time to pay you back for saving my life back when Ferdie was abducted."

Linhardt's face paled considerably, giving it a light green hue. "There was practically a pool of blood I could've swam in . . ."

Dorothea attempted to contain her disgust at the image of him vomiting soon, and healed his churning stomach. "Try not to use up all my heal spells on an upset stomach, m'kay?" Linhardt gave her a dirty look as she laughed and went away.

Caspar shouted, "Big win! Come on, who wants to try to mess with Caspar von Bergliez? I'll have you know that my father was the Minister of Military Affairs! I grew up playing in the strongest fort in the continent-" A rush of pain filled his arm. When he turned, he saw a dark knight wielding Thunder spells at him. "-AND IF YOU THINK THAT'S GONNA STOP ME, YOU LOST THAT GAMBLE!" Caspar threw caution to the wind and lunged at the dark knight, who pelted him with Thunder.

Caspar winced as the electricity crackled against his flesh, but he disregarded the pain and raised his axe in the air. The dark knight covered her head and face with her arm, but he simply drove the axe into her arm, and when she recoiled in pain, landed the lethal strike. "Challenging me wasn't a good idea, now, was it?"

Annette cheered, "That's my boyfriend!"

An enemy pegasus knight flew in the air and dove down right above Shiro's head, sensing her window of opportunity. Caeldori spotted her getting closer, and intercepted the attack. "Argh! Stay away from him!" She pierced the pegasus knight with her lance. "I must train harder if I want to protect the ones I love."

Byleth avoided a wyvern rider's axe. "Predictable." She followed up with a devastating blow. "Let the lesson begin!"

Khalid shot a brawler in the face. "Listen, I had to."

Gustave slashed a thief. "You will not get in the way of my family's future."

A general left a gash right on Severa's ribcage. She fell back in pain. "Urgh! That hurt! I'm going to-" A flash of pain sparked in the afflicted area. Her breath came out in gasps. "I'm going to need . . . some help . . ."

Seeing her in distress, an enemy archer aimed at her chest, hoping to land a deadly shot. Subaki heard his wife's anguish, but once he saw the archer getting ready to hurt her, he steered his mount right towards him. "Oh no you don't!" He cut him through with his naginata. "No one harms my perfect family." He landed next to his wife, who gratefully hopped on his pegasus.

Severa breathed a rather painful sigh of relief. "I don't say these kinds of things often, but I love you."

Subaki smirked. "Ha! I know. After all, you agreed to marry me."

Severa chuckled, which caused her ribs to scream. "Ow! Well, I sort of grew attracted to you ever since I found out that your whole "I'm perfect" act was just a show to hide your fear of failure. I realized we were pretty similar."

Subaki's eyes searched the battlefield for Dorothea or Linhardt to heal Severa. "I have to admit, it was a wonderful feeling being able to let my guard down and reveal that I wasn't so gifted at everything, and it was because I was raised being taught that even one small mistake is unacceptable and a disgrace to my family line."

Severa placed a comforting hand on her husband's shoulders as he spotted Linhardt, and flew right to him. "We need healing, stat!"

Linhardt yawned and mended her body. "There you go. Try not to get impaled so easily next time."

Severa snapped, "At least I'm fighting on the front lines!" She flounced off to take out her aggression on the enemies. Subaki took to the skies, ever anxious that someone would hurt Severa again.

Camilla noticed a very watchful and observant mortal savant waiting to spring on Soleil. She electrocuted him with a bolt axe. "I don't take kindly to those who prey on children or teenagers. Pick on someone your own size!" She flipped her luxurious hair over her shoulders and made sure that all the younger members of the army were relatively in good shape.

The battle raged on for hours with the Twilighters' grip on Fódlan in the balance. The heroes fought bravely to eradicate the evil ones from the continent, while the Twilighters dug in their heels in a desperate attempt to salvage their hold.

Dimitri in particular was useful, cutting down enemy after enemy. Khalid was helpful in taking down harder to kill foes that skulked in the shadows, and Linhardt and Dorothea made sure that the heroes escaped relatively unscathed. At last, the final Twilighter dropped dead.

Ferdinand exhaled. "It is over. We did it. Fódlan is free from their influence forever."
