BIHP 53: Maizono's issue

After almost a week Maizono and the others finally came out of the Hospital. And although the first thing she wanted to do was to go to Makoto and spend the whole day and night with him. She knew she had to return from her secret life to her public one… She arrived at the practice studio seeing all her friends.
"Hi everyone"- she greeted before she looked surprised over her friends… they all had worried faces. Sayaka looked confused… she was expecting them to rush to her and hug her, after all although they were competing between each other for the spot of top Idol, they were all also best friends.
"ok what just happened?"- Sayaka then asked confused - "Sayaka… we heard bad news from our manager… it's about you"- Ayaka said a bit nervous, Sayaka then looked confused – "I mean how bad could it be?"- Sayaka asked curiously the girls then looked at each other nerviously. – "She said… she was going to pull you out of Hope's Peak"- Ayaka said. Sayaka's eyes widened in both shock and anger.
"WAIT WHY?!"- screamed Sayaka and the girls looked sadly at each other before looking at her – "well because you been getting hurt a lot lately"- Sayaka eyes widened. It was true that because of her training and fights against ghouls she was getting injured more constantly, but other than this time there were never that big, and even in this case they explained it was an accident – "but its not a big deal… it's just because lately I been getting tired a lot from all that is happening"- Sayaka lied but her friends didn't believe her.
"Sayaka… you don't have to lie"- Satomi said surprising her – "We know…why you are getting hurt"- Sayaka's eyes widened – "You do?"- she asked and they nodded – "Sayaka… we care for you so we know… you don't have to protect the school… we know they are using you as food for that monster"- Sayaka's eyes then widened what did they say - "What?"
"the Manager told us about what is happening. We know the school is using it's students as blood banks for the monster… and we know you been getting injured because of blood loss"- Satomi explained and the other nodded – "We know that you wanted to go to Hope's Peak to become the best Idol… but maybe you could see this as a blessing in disguise… that way you don't have to have to see that Mon…"
"DON'T YOU CALL HIM LIKE THAT!"- Sayaka then screamed shocking all her friends – "Makoto is not a monster!"- she said and the other girls looked shocked as they saw Sayaka mad – "He is not the reason I get injured… and He is not a Monster!"- the other girls couldn't believe their eyes… not only she looked really mad at them… but at the same time she was crying – "But Sayaka he is a vampire… he is the cause of this world" – Ayaka said.
"But he didn't choose for it to happen. He was a victim of other people… how do you think it must feel to be called a monster after being tortured and turned into a Vampire? Makoto is a good person and everyone just treats him like a monster…. He is not one!"- Sayaka couldn't take it anymore and left leaving everyone shocked – "What just happened?"- asked confused Ayaka they were worried for her and yet she only screamed at them…it was then that Satomi's eyes widened – "wait… could it be… He is the one she fell for?"- she asked shocking everyone… and making them feel bad… if that was the case… it made sense why Sayaka would react that way.

After her outburst Sayaka then went directly to her room and fell on her bed. She knew she overreacted and shouldn't have screamed at them… but after hearing them talk about Makoto that way she couldn't just ignore it… but on the other hand she could understand their reaction… they were worried for her. Sayaka then planted her face on her pillow.
Sayaka then heard someone knock on her door – "Sayaka… are you there?"- Asked Makoto surprising her – "Are you ok? You looked angry when you came to the housing"- Makoto asked softly… Sayaka looked surprised a bit… but then smiled softly of course he would be the first one to go to her when she wasn't feeling ok – "Something happened in the idol practice"- she said.
"Do you want to talk about it?"- he asked and she smiled softly before walking to her door and opening it – "Yeah… I would like that"- she said and Makoto blushed over her beauty. He then entered and they both sat on her bed – "so what happened?"- Makoto asked, Sayaka then explained everything that happened surprising him over everything – "I see"- Makoto said a bit sadly – "So what are you going to do?"- he asked a bit nerviosly confusing – "I mean if you don't leave Hope's Peak it would threaten you status as an Idol"- Sayaka then smiled.
"well then I would stop being an Idol"- she said nonchalantly, Makoto's eyes widened as he realized what she was saying – "WAIT WHAT? But Sayaka that is your dream… why would you leave it? I mean what about your fans… and your friends?"- Makoto asked shocked and Sayaka rested her head on his shoulder – "Makoto after everything we have been together I discovered that I don't kneed to be an Idol to fulfill my dream… my dream always was to be there for people that needed me. And although I love being and Idol… if I just stayed one while betraying you at the same time…. Then there would be no point on that dream… so if I have to quit being and Idol to become a version of me that can fufill that dream then I will have to quit. And I know that at first everyone is going to be mad for doing it… but if my fans and friends really care for me… I know they will also support me" – she said smiling – "well… I hope you don't have to quit being an Idol"- he said blushing, she then looked at him a bit confused – "I mean… I like seeing you sing… it's like you are sparkling"- Sayaka then blushed as she heard him and she smiled before kissing his cheek – "thanks for listening Makoto"- Makoto then blushed.

"Where am I?"- asked Ayaka as she awoke in a storage. After she left the practice (which they still had even without Sayaka) she was walking to her house when she felt someone grab her and pull her away. She then felt a pinch on her neck and fell unconscious.
As she looked around her eyes widened as she looked at a large monster like being talking with a human – "Laxus I told you already you can't eat her"- said the Human the large monster then looked a bit disappointed. The Humanlike one then looked at Ayaka and smiled – "Ohh she woke up"- she immediately looked in fear at them as they looked at her.
"Who are you… what do you want with me?"- she then asked and the two ghouls then smiled at her – "do not worry… if you fulfill your duty we will not hurt you"
…
The next day arrived and Sayaka woke up smiling, after talking to him she felt way better and even enjoyed a couple of hours together. As she dressed she then noticed that she received a message. She then checked it out and looked a bit mad. It was a message from her manager. She had a reunion with her first thing in the morning.
Sayaka then took a heavy breath and prepared herself. She knew there was the possibility of having to quit being an Idol… but she was prepared for it happening. She would also come clean over everything that had happened. She knew that they wouldn't like it… and that everyone would be against it… but she rather do that than to have to keep her lies and making people suffer from it.
She arrived to their office and noticed that everyone was already there except for Ayaka who apparently was late… but instead of waiting for her they decided to enter the office where Laura their Manager was. Laura was the definition of a manager, a woman on her 30 or 40 dressed in a suit with a headphone speaker and a huge office. As they entered Laura then looked at them.
"My sweethearts… how are you feeling today?"- she asked but none of them answered they were trying to stay quiet since they knew a fight between Sayaka and Laura was coming – "Sayaka I heard yesterday you had an issue with the news I gave you didn't you?"- She said calmly but they all could feel the intensity on her voice – "Yes I did"- Sayaka then said. Laura then sighed – "and I hope the time you had to think made you reconsider… Sayaka I understand that you are angry over the change… but is for your own good"- Laura explained.
"I'm not leaving Hope's Peak" – Sayaka said simply and everyone looked shocked even Laura – "Sayaka what did you say?"- Laura asked in disbelief – "I'm not leaving Hope's Peak Laura… I'm staying there"- Laura looked in shock – "how can you say that Sayaka!? Even after all the injuries you'll protect the school that harbors that?"- Sayaka tried to stay calm over the comment of Makoto and looked at her – "The injuries have nothing to do with the school. In reality it has to do with something else I been doing lately"- they all looked surprised and confused over that revelation.
"Something else… and what is that something else?" – Laura asked and Sayaka looked seriously while the girls looked both in curiosity and confusion - "well the truth is…"- just then they all heard someone knock on the door. They all then stayed quiet as they heard the door – "*sigh* Come in" – said Laura a bit annoyed over being interrupted. The door opened showing the building guard.
"Marcos I told you to not…"- but before they could finish Marcos head then fell of to the ground shocking them. As the door opened more Sayaka immediately held her pendant but noticed she couldn't use it as the saw two ghouls enter: one a small one with black hair a open jacket and Idol shirt, but the important one… or at least the one who was unintentionaly stopping Sayaka was a large golem looking Ghoul who was holding a terrified Ayaka on its forearms. Sayaka knew that she couldn't try anything that would put Ayaka in risk. The small ghoul then smiled
"good afternoon ladies we are the Lincon Brothers and we are huge fans of you girls"- he said as they all looked scared except for Sayaka who glared at him and Laura – "Who are you and what do you want with my girls?"- Laura said as she stood and walked in front of them to protect them. Sayaka looked a bit surprised as she noticed that although Laura was terrified… she was still willing to put herself in danger for them. the small one then smiled.
"Like I said even though we are ghouls we both are huge fans of you girls… but lately we have noticed that because of the situation the world currently is all of you are in constant danger… so we believe that the best option for yourself… is that we turn you all into ghouls… after all you girls don't want to die right?"- the girls then looked scared. Laura then tried to stay her ground and not break into fear.
"And what if the girls don't want to go through that process?"- the ghoul then looked mad – "well in that case I believe that instead of letting you die randomly… then it would be better to taste Idol flesh before they disappear"- he said terrifying the girls and Ayaka started shacking as she could feel the large ghoul start to drool. Laura was thinking what to do when Sayaka walked forward calmly – "Ok I'll accept the process only after you release Ayaka"- She said calmly surprising the other girls and Laura.
"Sorry princess Maizono… but we can't simply let our bargaining chip off… not when we are taking such a risk walking on ghoul hunters territory"- he said as he smiled showing his saw like teeth – "but do not worry once you all turn… we will release… and even guide you outside the city… and surprisingly lucky… we have your first meal here"- he said looking at Laura who looked shocked and in fear. Sayaka then kept her calm she knew she couldn't react… she needed to protect them and find a perfect opportunity to kill these bastards.
The small ghoul then walked forward to her standing in front of her – "so let's start with you…"- but before he could even touch her a foot kicked his face kicking him to the wall. The owner of that foot then backflipped before a bow appeared and threw 3 arrows with ropes hitting the large ghoul on his arm making him flinch and drop Ayaka, the arrows then melted turning into a chain grabbing Ayaka and the person pulled Ayaka away of danger, before catching her and holding her bridal style. Sayaka's eyes then widened as she noticed who it was – "ok that was close" – Makoto said as he held Ayaka who started blushing – "Makoto… why are you here?"-asked Sayaka surprised. Makoto then blushed still holding Ayaka – "well… I was worried about what you were going to do Sayaka… I mean I know you said you don't need to be a Idol… but I mean..."- he said nervous, surprising her and making her giggle – "Makoto you worrisome"- she said making his face red. But while this happened all the other girls and Laura looked in shock… this was the vampire… the same man who was called a monster a killer and a demon… or at least that was what they had heard of him, yet contrary to any rumor… contrary to anything they had heard of him, he instead looked like a likeable person who cared about Sayaka.
"Um… Mr. Vampire"- Ayaka said softly getting his attention – "can you let me down?"- she asked nerviously – "ohh yeah… sorry"- Makoto said quickly helping her stand – "Sorry for that… I know I was a bit rough."- Makoto then apologized and Ayaka's face turned red, not unnoticed by Sayaka.
"You Vampire bastard!"- they then heard the small ghoul say as he started standing up again and mutate into what it could only be called a spider and his brother started turning into a scarab – "Umm ms. It would be better if you stand behind us"- Makoto then said to Ayaka before she walked to the other girls.
"Sorry Sayaka… but can you help me with this one?"- Makoto said summoning his sword, and surprising the other Idols and Laura… what did he meant with help? Sayaka then smiled as she touched her pendant and to the shock of the other girls turned into a sword as well – "Of course Makoto… like always"- she said as they took their respective position. The others and specially Laura looked surprised over at Sayaka… the way she was it felt like a totally different person was there… yet somehow… they knew it was still her. The two ghouls then dashed to attack them
"Crimson Moonlight-style…"
"Twilight Moonlight-style"
They said as they prepared themselves. As the ghouls then took range they both quickly swung their respective swords.
"New moon Slash"- Makoto then slashed the spider looking ghoul in half as Sayaka appeared behind the scarab looking one also cut in half. The two ghouls then looked in shock… just before their bodies where cut completely.
….
After the situation had passed Makoto told Sayaka she should probably guide the other girls out while he called the clean up crew and Sayaka nodded and left… but not before kissing him in the cheek – "Thanks you for being here for me"- she said as Makoto's face turned red and she giggled, helping the other Idol's and Laura outside the building where a set of medical care and ghoul hunters who came to their aid.
After they were all finally taken care for Sayaka finally reunited with them… ready to finally explain everything – "Hey girls… feeling better?"- she said a bit nervous over how they would react – "Sayaka…. What was that?"- asked Ayame asked as they all looked at their friend and leader. On the other hand Laura just stayed there and listened.
Sayaka then took a heavy breath – "is time I come clean… I'm a ghoul hunter"- she said shocking all of them – "it's started a couple of months ago… you see Makoto's dad is a swordmaster… and Makoto wanted to ask him to teach him… but apparently he found I also talent…and asked me if I wanted to learn, and I accepted"- they all looked surprised over what she was saying – "But why Sayaka… being a ghoul hunter is dangerous"- Ayaka then said but her eyes widened as she saw Sayaka smiled – "I know… but I want to help others… and protect him as well"- she said blushing a bit. – "But… why?"- asked another of the Idols.
"Because even though I know how amazing he is… he isn't invincible. So I want to help him carry some of the weight"- they all looked surprised… they could see it… she was there, but the Sayaka they were looking there was more bright than anytime they had noticed – "So Laura… this is the reason I can't leave Hope's Peak… I'll help him…. even if I have to give up being an Idol"- she said, as they heard that all of them then looked at Laura… waiting her answer.
"You don't have to leave Hope's Peak… and you don't have to quit being and Idol"- she said surprising all of them… but specially Sayaka. Laura then looked softly at her – "Sayaka, when we first met you told me you wanted to be an Idol who would bring hope to others, that was your dream… that is why I wanted to pull you out of Hope's Peak. Because seeing you injured made me afraid that something in that school was trying to destroy your dream… I blamed the vampire because I was afraid for you"- she then started explaining and Sayaka looked more and more shocked with each word – "But now that I know… and now that I can see you… I can admit that I have never seen you more brightly and closer to fulfilling your dream… So I hope you manage to fulfill it"- her friends then smiled softly as they saw Sayaka cry a bit overcome by emotions – "Also a ghoul hunting Idol is a great marketing point"- Laura said smiling proudly. While crying Sayaka then giggled a bit – "thanks Laura" – Sayaka then said – "but although I won't stop you from dating… make sure to keep it a secret… after all an Idol can't be caught dating"- she said and Sayaka nodded.
"Umm and Sayaka"- Ayaka then said getting her attention… Ayaka was blushing a lot – "could I try a date with him?"
….
Well this is the end of the chapter… I know lately I been spending more time between each chapters. I apologize I been occupied and also I been trying to think 2 and 3 times over each chapter to create the best version of the idea I want to create.
