Chapter 53

Aiyora let out an exhale, a shaky one.

The young Kuran stood inside her friends' room and watched with utter horror as the occupants of the room lay scattered all over. Drained to the verge of death.

When she walked into their room this afternoon, this wasn't the scene she had expected to see. However considering the amount of blood they smelt last night, it's a miracle that these girls are still alive.

Aiyora crouched down to check on the dirty blonde haired girl named Natsuki. She lost so much blood that she looked ghostly pale. Not to far from Natsuki, was Miyuki. That poor girl wasn't even breathing nor were the puncture marks on her neck healing at the rate as it should be.

Aiyora stood up and hastily left that room. She couldn't take it anymore! It was all too much. These girls were her friends and the person who did this horrible thing to them was her father— in Senri's body!

Instead of returning to her own bedroom or her temporary room (Kaname's bedroom), the young Kuran found herself standing before Senri and Takuma's room, debating.

Naturally her heart warned, it told her to turn around and run as far away from here as possible. But the brain presented an argument— it wouldn't hurt to have a peek. And these days Kuran Aiyora was converting to someone who listened to their brain over their heart. So it was given that she'd pick the latter option. Plus another and perhaps the most important reason why she felt the need to enter now, was due to the fact the room was empty. It's occupants were elsewhere.

Aiyora opened the door and walked in. Right away her eyes landed on the coffin laying at the centre. She didn't want to go close but a strong magnetic pull literally dragged her feet towards the iron built coffin.

The girl cautiously sat atop the coffin and took

a deep breath. It was a strange feeling. Because for l the first time Kuran Aiyora felt the essence of being at home. Her real home! A place where she was always welcome with open arms and unconditional love.

A voice inside her head told Aiyora to open the lid of the coffin and go inside; because in there is the place where she will be safest, she will be cherished, she will find the person who loves her the most in the world.

And just when she was leaning towards the idea of listening to that voice, suddenly Senri's face flashed before her. His innocently monotonous face. Which soon changed to the one she saw inside Kaname's office last night— the possessed one.

The hands on her lap balled to fists.

Aiyora felt the distinct urge to scream and break everything around to pieces. Most likely even then it wouldn't do much to calm the boiling lava inside her.

Actually Aiyora never knew how much of a patient person she was until she faced this crisis. If someone asked her months ago, about what she would have done upon facing a situation like this? Her reply would have been different. She would have sworn upon her life that with her still alive, no one will dare touch her Ri-chan. However, in reality the situation occurred right under her nose and yet she has no clue on what to be done.

"STOP!"

Aiyora blinked, confused.

Takuma's scream broke her chain of thought. She wouldn't have bothered much if it were under normal circumstances. Then again Takuma isn't someone who screams generally to begin with. On top of that Kaname wasn't in the dorm.

So Aiyora decided to check what was going on.

The pureblood further tensed when it occurred to her that the voices were coming from Ruka and Rima's room. The latter is currently guarding Yuuki, so it could mean...

Aiyora picked up her paced and rushed towards the destination. It only added to her increasing fear and slowed down her heart rate when she saw Senri— no her father, coming out of Ruka's room.

She took a moment to steady her nerves and charged. "What were you doing in there?!"

In response Rido leaned in closer and took a deep breath, inhaling his daughter's scent and let out a delighted purr.

"You know... you smell absolutely divine." He cupped her face and with his thumb traced her lips. "Oh such soft lips..." He licked to moisten his own in turn. "I can't wait to bite it. Will you let me bite it... my little Aiyora? Just one bite. I promise to be gentle."

Aiyora's face crunched in disgust. Yet she reminded him calmly. "I'm your daughter."

"So...? We're beasts, these futile titles don't make difference to us. Now come on don't be shy. Let your 'daddy' have some fun." His hand went down, fingers tracing her sharp collarbone.

"Just get your disgusting self out of my sight!" Aiyora slapped his hand away and ran into Ruka's room. Now with a clear idea of what might have had occurred.

And soon as she stepped into Ruka's room, this was the scene she stumbled upon—Takuma telling Ruka,

"Please don't say anything to Kaname or Aiyora-chan."

"But he—" Akatsuki tried to protest but Takuma shut him down authoritatively.

Akatsuki watched him with shocked and angry eyes for a moment before backing down in defeat.

"Fine... as you wish." He muttered, suppressing his pain. He really looked like a helpless man in that moment. A man who was unable to do something for the woman he loved. And this was the situation where Aiyora connected with him.

"It's not fine!" A voice spoke firmly. "It's not fine to maintain silence on such matters!"

All three aristocrats looked to find Aiyora walking in.

"No man or woman should ever keep silent on sexual assault. As for you Ruka-senpai I will see to it personally, that whoever assaulted or attempted an assault on you does not get away unpunished. Matters not whether it was my father or my brother!"

"Aiyora-chan please stay out of this and let me deal with him for now." Takuma tried to diffuse the situation.

But Aiyora turned to him with surprisingly calm demeanour and said. "Pick a hand."

"What?!" The Ichijou heir asked, slightly confused.

"Left or right?"

Akatsuki and Ruka exchanged a quick confused glance. While Takuma looked at Aiyora with the similar kind of expression.

"...Um I guess right."

"Good choice!" She said and gave him a hard slap across the face with the hand that he selected.

Akatsuki and Ruka gasped. They didn't expect the younger Kuran to do something so drastic.

Takuma touched his face, shocked and in disbelief.

"How dare you tell a woman to not disclose the assault she just faced? And shut down the man who tried to protest. Why shouldn't Kaname and I not know about this matter? ...I'm surprised that you out of all people could sink so low."

Takuma didn't know what to say, so he simply kept his gaze down in shame.

"Apologize to Ruka-senpai. Now!" It was a straight up command.

Takuma did. He apologized to both Ruka and Akatsuki, before turning to Aiyora for further instruction.

"I would have apologized for my action too, Ichijou-senpai. But I won't. Because this is one type of wrong doing that I cannot overlook. Anyway... you may go guide him now."

Takuma quietly left. After he was gone Ruka took Aiyora's hand and thanked her. Soon she was joined by Akatsuki, who told Aiyora how grateful he was, for what she just did.

Meanwhile, Yuuki's patience at the edge when she met Kaname by the water fountain that afternoon. Her symptoms were getting worse every day with no signs of improvement and here he was, yet to give her a reasonable answer. At this point Yuuki was starting to feel like she would go insane in a matter of few days.

Kaname on the other hand smiled when she arrived and suggested. "It is no fun meeting up on the school grounds. Should we go somewhere else tomorrow?"

"Kaname-senpai listen I..." She refused to face him. Therefore she had her back facing him.

"What's wrong?" He pretended to be confused.

"You still haven't answered my question!"

"About what?" He continued with his act.

Yuuki turned around, after making up her mind to face him.

"I wanna know... if somehow or another you're connected to my past." She looked at him in sadness and gave him the details. "Aidou-senpai told me something. He said the only reason you... you made me your lover was because it was the best way for you to protect me."

Kaname didn't argue against that statement. He chose silence to confirm whatever her assumption was. For now it was best this way.

"What are you trying to protect me from? Is something going to happen to me? And does this mean when you confessed your feelings for me... you actually didn't mean it...?"

Kaname stretched out his silence. Because he didn't want to lie to her at this point and have her dreams shattered upon awakening. It was the least he owed to her parents for raising him.

Yuuki raced forward and banged her fisted hands on his chest. "Please answer my question Kaname-senpai! Come on please answer me!"

In the midst of this Yuuki suffered another attack. She clutched her head tightly for the growing pain and the voice repeating in mind to stop.

Kaname worriedly placed his hands on her shoulders and tried to calm her down. "Yuuki?! Calm down Yuuki."

She gave another shot and demanded. This time almost screaming. "What's happening?! I don't understand what's happening. Who are you to me? How are we connected? Why do you go to such lengths to hide it? Tell me what happened to me Kaname-senpai. I just want to know what the truth is..."

Yuuki felt another wave of the attack and this time it tired her out. She fell forward only for Kaname to catch her. He held her gently and called her couple of times but she could no longer respond.

"Kaname-senpai... why is it that when you look at me, your eyes are so sad?" It was the last question she managed to ask before passing out.

Kaname carried her to the headmaster's office and explained what has occurred.

Cross Kaien looked at his daughter with sadness and muttered. "Yuuki... it seems that finally the time has come. Oh Juuri-san, I only hope I have the strength to protect her."

"You will protect Yuuki, whether she is in her true form or human, correct?" Kaname asked Kaien. Secretly the vampire was just confirming for his own agenda.

"If the academy is a better place for her, would you still keep her, even if she is turned? Would you still consider her to be your daughter once she becomes Kuran Yuuki?"

"There is no reason for you to worry Kaname-kun. To me Yuuki will always be my daughter. Whether she is a human or vampire that detail doesn't matter."

"That makes me happy and relieved, headmaster." Kaname said with a smile and handed Yuuki over to her adoptive father.

Before the Chairman had the chance to ask the brunette why he was asking such questions at this time, the vampire disappeared.

Kaname returned to the moon dormitory to check on Aiyora and was bewildered to learn that she was in Ruka's room.

He went ahead to see the matter himself and was genuinely taken aback when caught sight of the two female sitting on Ruka's bed, talking like they're friends.

"Oh Kaname-sama!" Ruka was the first to notice him through the slightly gaped door. She got up on her feet and was quick to invite him in. "Please come inside."

"Please excuse me, I didn't mean to intrude. I simply came to see Aiyora." Kaname said entering.

"You've been standing there for over a minute. If this isn't intruding, then what is?" Aiyora said sarcastically. She sensed Kaname's presence way before Ruka did. It's just that she simply didn't bother herself to the matter.

"So what brought you here?"

"I'm going to go pay Yuuki a visit."

Ruka tensed hearing that name.

But Aiyora simply asked, "So?"

"And... I wanted to see you before that."

There was a moment of silence before Aiyora responded to his comment.

"Cool! So... do you want me to smile or see my face as it is?"

He walked towards her in long strides and took her face between his palms and told her.

"A smile would be nice."

Aiyora flashed him a wide toothy grin that lasted for few seconds. "Happy?"

It made the older pureblood chuckle.

"Very..." he said lightly kissing her forehead.

After that, he left abruptly.

Ruka, who had been silently watching their interaction and got more confused. She couldn't understand how Cross Yuuki fit into the equation between the two Kurans.

So she felt the need to point out.

"He really likes... No, it isn't just like, he really loves you."

"Everyone loves me, I'm a fun person Ruka-senpai. If you would have taken up the offer to be my friend, then you would have known by now." Aiyora added haughtily.

"Which is why it doesn't make any sense. Why did he take that human girl as his lover?"

"Maybe..." The pureblood replied with a dead serious face. "...she is better in bed."

"Aiyora-sama!" The aristocrat blushed deeply.

The expression on her face made the pureblood laugh.

"It's almost time... very soon it will be in my possession; and then I will make a full resurrection."

Rido and Takuma stood outside the residence where Yuuki currently was. Takuma gasped at the pureblood's words and tensed when he sensed his friend's presence behind them.

Kaname's presence only added to Rido's amusement as it prompted him to further taunt.

"You know when that child awakens from her slumber, her sweet dreams will turn to nightmares. Her ferocious fangs will start destroying her from the inside. ...And I won't even have to lift a finger. She'll wake up no matter what is done. Then, with her blood I'll resurrect myself and get rid of you. Afterwards I will clean Aiyora's head off this one's memory..." he pounced a finger at Senri's head.

"...And then, we will live happily ever after."

"Rido, don't delude yourself for even a second. Your filthy hands will never touch Aiyora. I'm warning you for the last night, get rid off those vulgar thoughts about her out of your mind and embrace her for who she is— your daughter."

Kuran Rido rolled his eyes at his ancestor's suggestion.

Kaname continued. It was different before, but now he wanted to give the man a fair shot to be with his daughter. And he wasn't doing this for Rido. He was doing it for Aiyora. That child doesn't have the courage to admit how deeply she loves her father. But Kaname had long sensed those feelings in her heartbeat. The silence between her words told him her unspoken, unexpressed desire to have her father present in her life.

"Aiyora may have never said it out loud, but she does care for you. If you agree to be her father, I might consider a change in my plan..."

"Be her father and then what...? Give her to the likes of you? You're hilarious Kaname. Do you honestly think I brought your filthy carcass back to life to make you my son-in-law?"

"In that case, you leave me no choice." With that said the ancestor vanished.

Those words caught Takuma's attention. He wanted to ask but Rido simply brushed off the ancestor's warning and walked away. For some time the Ichijou heir stood in shame and disgust. Then sighing he followed the pureblood.

Kaname entered Yuuki's room through the window and found her in distress. She has already reached her limit and now going towards insanity.

Upon first sight of the pureblood, Yuuki ran into his arms and wailed like a child.

Zero who just left Yuuki's room, heard her cries and rushed back. He burst through the door and saw that Kaname had put Yuuki to sleep.

"KURAN?! ...what are you really planning to do to Yuuki?"

In response Kaname said, "You will never betray her."

Then the sudden gust of harsh wind made Zero shield his eyes and once that passed, the silver haired male realized that the vampire had vanished with Yuuki.

Kaname crouched down somewhere on the rooftop with Yuuki laying on his lap.

Yuuki awoke to the sight of snow falling all around. But due to her current mental state, in her eyes the white snow flakes appeared red, coated with blood. She stuck her hand out to touch the red snow.

"My entire world looks dyed in blood. Things cannot go back to how they used to be anymore... All because I tried so hard to remember my past."

"Yuuki... that is enough. It's time you for you to wake up before you go mad."

Yuuki closed her eyes in acceptance and Kaname closed in on her neck and bit into it.

It's cold... yet somehow I feel warm.

Yuuki's eyes flew open as she regained her senses and realized that Kaname's fangs were buried into her neck.

She struggled... "Kaname-senpai what are you—?"

What is buried in my neck Kaname-senpai?

He placed a hand over her mouth and blocked her from speaking or screaming.

Yuuki felt as if her skin cracked and was peeling off of her body. As the cells inside her started to change.

Kaname drew his fangs back and saw that Yuuki had passed out. He proceeded to bite his own wrist and take ample amount of his own blood. Then parted her mouth and sealed it off with his own, feeding her his blood.

The air around the academy shifted. All vampires started to feel the awakening of another pureblood. A factor that seemed pretty impossible to them. The only ones who remained unfazed were Ichijou Takuma, Kuran Rido and his offspring Kuran Aiyora.

Yuuki opened her eyes and understood Kaname was kissing her, then realized he was feeding her something through his mouth. She tried to resist but Kaname kept a firm hold on her.

This taste... it's Kaname-senpai's blood.

She closed her eyes and surrendered into the bloody kiss that lasted for another while.

When Kaname finally pulled away Yuuki gazed longingly into his eyes.

"Yuuki have you awoken? Do you remember who I am?"

The said girl reached out and took his face between her hands.

"You're my..."

And that's when she heard the sound of gun clicking. Both looked up and found Zero pointing his bloody rose at Kaname.

"I know that smell... it's Yuuki's blood. However... NOW I SENSE TWO VAMPIRES!" Zero hissed. "KURAN YOU TURNED YUUKI!"

"No stop it Zero!" Yuuki gasped and ran in front to shield Kaname. "This man he... he's my onii-sama."

Zero eyes went wide and he halted in his action.

"I'm so sorry Zero." Yuuki fell back losing her consciousness again only for Kaname to catch her.

"You're siblings?" Zero asked, still processing what he just learned.

"That's right. However, I wasn't born as her true brother."

"What do you mean?"

"Yuuki without a doubt is the daughter of the Kuran family. Even a pathetic vampire like you should be able to sense that. But then you're also something that hunts us... What will you do now?" Kaname asked in a taunting voice before leaving.

Takuma helplessly watched as Rido drained another night class students.

He felt immensely disturbed in his current surrounding. But there was only little of what he could do. Two girls were already laying on the ground unconscious. This was the third one— a beautiful blonde. Takuma recognized her, she's one of Aiyora's minion. In fact all three of them are. It was interesting how Kuran Rido only targeted those girls, that were from his daughter's inner circle. It was as if he was trying to find Aiyora's closest substitute from them.

Even this girl passed out, but that didn't seem to have any effect on the man. He continued to enjoy his meal, greedily.

"That's enough." Mastering his courage Takuma approached the mad pureblood that held his roommate's body hostage. He placed a hand on Senri's shoulder and warned. "Please stop. Otherwise you'll kill her."

Rido withdrew his fangs and shoved away Takuma's hand.

"Humph! Showing compassion for humans. Is that part of Kaname's idealism?"

"Yes, it is. Even though these girls aren't human doesn't mean they don't deserve compassion either."

Ignoring Takuma's words Rido leaned in to bite his victim again; but got distracted to the distinct smell of blood, that was very familiar to Juuri's.

Using his powers he opened the window behind him. Then dropped the girl in his arm to the floor and faced the window.

"Hmmm... the chicken's been roasted. So that servant has turned her into a vampire without any suffering. However, I would have been much happier if she would have drunk the Kuran blood as human and gone insane upon her awakening."

"But... why would you want that?"

"Because her existence has caused my little girl a lot pain and suffering. In comparison to which I'm asking for a cheap price... wouldn't you agree, Ichijou?"

Aiyora was leaning against the wall outside Takuma and Senri's room. She carefully concealed her aura and presence so that two men inside could not sense her.

Her royal blue feline like eyes already glistening with tears. Her heart contemplated, while the mind was utterly confused and emotions absolutely turbulent. All she could wonder was, whether it is even rationally possible to love and loathe someone simultaneously?

Without a doubt and logically so she hated her father. He turned out to be everything she hated in a person. But at the same time, he was also proving to the person who loved her so much. Although that love is full of madness and vulgarity. However, a sick part of her wanted to obtain this deep obsessive love. Then again if she were to obtain this love, it would come at the cost of others pain.

Senri's body has already been taken hostage. Her friends are getting devoured. Ruka was almost assaulted and Akatsuki found himself unable to fight back in that matter. Now Yuuki might lose her life and after her, it will certainly be Kaname's turn.

Aiyora clutched her head that was now throbbing in pain.

No!

She did not want that. She wanted no part of a love that came at the cost of so many others pain.

Aidou and Kain were still waiting outside the headmaster's guest house, when Kaname appeared carrying a sleeping Yuuki in his arms.

Hanabusa eyed the sleeping vampire with confusion. His mind still processing the new reality.

"So... Cross Yuuki, was a pureblood vampire all along?" Akatsuki was the one that asked.

Kaname stood in silence, confirming their assumption. Only then, the realization came into Aidou's mind. "She's your sister then..."

Kaname confirmed, slowly closing his eyes and reopening them.

"Hanabusa, the only daughter ever born into the Kuran family is Aiyora-sama."

"Actually, Yuuki is the true daughter of Kuran Haruka and Juuri." Kaname spoke walking past the cousin duo. "...And she is also the girl who was born to become my wife."

While Kain's expression remained neutral. Shock took over Hanabusa's face making the blonde audible gasp.

"Why are you surprised? It isn't uncommon in pureblood lineage for siblings to marry."

"No, it's not." Hanabusa agreed. "I just can't help but wonder what about Aiyora-sama then? You were engaged to her once." His words made the pureblood stop.

"Hanabusa, back then we didn't know about Yuuki-sama's existence. Neither did the senate. Which was why they got him engaged to her." Akatsuki explained.

"Is that why you used to be distant with Aiyora-sama, when you first brought her into this academy? Was it also why you never stopped interacting with Yuuki-sama so openly despite being engaged to Aiyora-sama?"

Akatsuki vaguely wondered where Hanabusa was getting all these courage from. It was quite unlike him to question their dorm president so boldly.

"When the council got me engaged to Aiyora, all I felt towards her was resentment. However, with time I came to realize what she truly means to me. But that realization came a little too late, because by the time I discovered my feelings for her, she was already gone. I was erased from her heart. ...Till now Aiyora is the only one I want as my wife... but the rest would depend on Aiyora. That is if she ever wishes it so."

After Kaname's explanation ended Akatsuki begun.

"So the source of this threatening atmosphere in the academy is coming from the person..."

"Who came to retrieve his daughter and devour Yuuki in the process." Kaname finished the sentence for Akatsuki. "If you feel threatened, then I won't impose any further duty on you both. These girls are my responsibility, I shall be the one looking after them."

"We don't obey you simply because you're a pureblood. We'll keep watching no matter who the enemy is."

"I'm taking advantage of you two." Kaname said before walking away.

Ruka stood few feet away and listened in to their conversation. Her mind at this point was overwhelmed with many different emotions at the information she just learned— Kuran Yuuki is the one born for the man, whom she has always loved and Kuran Aiyora is the one who rules the heart of the same man.

Earlier it would have been a tough call for the daughter of the Souen family to accept. But not anymore!

Rido and Takuma stepped outside again to further examine Yuuki's awakening and her current whereabouts. As they were passing the building where she was awakened, a small peck blood flew out of nowhere and landed on Senri's face.

The smell was enough for Kuran Rido to understand to whom this blood belongs to. He turned and eyed the building and found the silver haired male standing at the peak of the roof.

"That must be Kiryu Zero... Ichiru's twin brother." The pureblood snickered, wiping the blood off his face and licking it off.

Takuma turned to the man in worry. Wondering what he was up to now.

"Ichijou, do you know the hunter's curse regarding twins?"

"I do know how the hunters came into existence."

"Well if those two keep going at each other like this... the curse may not even matter in the end." Rido said turning back to look at the blonde.

Takuma frowned at the comment and the pureblood was quick to notice it.

"You look unhappy Ichijou. Why is that? You don't want me to sacrifice that girl in order to resurrect myself? Or perhaps it's because you have betrayed Kaname or you've broken my little Aiyora's trust? ...Or could it be the fact that I have taken Senri's body hostage?"

Rido assessed the situation with a dark smirk and was about to grab Senri's throat when another hand came and stopped him.

"Didn't I warn you, not to hurt this body?"

Both Rido and Takuma looked at Aiyora who appeared furious.

"Ooh so scary!" Rido taunted.

"Aiyora-chan please let me handle this." Takuma tried to intervene.

"Stay out of it Ichijou."

Aiyora's blue orbs started to glow red and within the blink of an eye both the father and daughter vanished. Leaving behind the frightened Ichijou, who was starting to panic after realizing the danger of the situation—

Aiyora is alone with the last person she should be.

"Oh no! What have you done Aiyora-chan!"

Kaname was just laying Yuuki down on the bed when his senses picked up what had just happened.

"Seiran..."

The mentioned female appeared at once.

"Stay with Yuuki and take all the necessary precautions when needed. Also have Aidou and Kain be here with you."

He gave the order and rushed out of the room.

My body is burning... My throat is parched... Its so dry... so dry...

Opening her eyes Yuuki was met with immense pain and burning sensation all throughout her body. It was like nothing she had ever felt before.

"Yuuki-sama you don't have to hold back." The smooth voice brought some relief to her.

Wanting for the pain to stop, the newly awakened pureblood acted on instinct. She carefully grabbed the man by his wrist and pulled him onto the bed before laying themselves on it, with her on top.

"Kaname-senpai! Kaname-senpai... I..."

"Hey! Hey! Hey! You got it all wrong!"

"Be quiet Aidou! Just let her to do what she needs to do."

Kaname-senpai... I need blood... your blood! I only desire your blood!

A hand rubbed her back.

"It's alright Yuuki-sama. Please do what you have to do." The voice sounded familiar. But Yuuki couldn't exactly point out who it was. Maybe Seiran.

She almost ripped the tie open and undid the first couple buttons of the shirt. Yuuki's mouth opened wide revealing those fangs. She gave his neck a long lick before biting down without restraint. The blood gushed into her system and made her feel complete. The feeling was so incredible that it was also indescribable.

Soon enough, the reality of what she was doing crashed down on her. The emotions she felt were so extremely overwhelming that it made her tear up. As her thirst somewhat stated and body gained some strength Yuuki pulled away. Only to see a set of shocked blue eyes looking at her with absolute horror.

Yuuki finally understood the person she just drank from was Aidou, not Kaname. She looked around in search of Kaname and found two other vampires in the room— Seiran and Akatsuki.

Without knowledge she used her newly awakened senses to detect Kaname but couldn't locate him anywhere nearby. And that realization brought a stabbing pain inside her heart. Because without him by her side she felt alone, lonely, empty and most importantly... abandoned.

"Where is Kaname onii-sama?"

"No idea. But he has asked us to watch over you." Akatsuki was the one that answered. As Hanabusa left the bed and joined them.

Yuuki looked away from them and turned to the window with a sad expression on her face.

And suddenly glasses on the window-pan cracked.

A/N: Thank you all for reading. Hope you guys enjoyed. So the faster updates end here. Depending on how schools and other stuff are going I'll try to figure out a new updating schedule. Till then you have this.

So, this chapter was a combination of episode 7 and 8. I'm basically skipping those part with Yuuki's flashbacks because chapter 3 of this story already shows that.

Anyway Yuuki has finally awakened. And as you can see due to some unfortunate circumstances Kaname couldn't be there when she woke up.

Again as for Aiyora's reaction to Rido. I think chapter showed the eventual build up of her anger. She tried to avoid irrational actions just so that she doesn't end up doing something that would physically hurt Senri in the end. Plus keep in mind at one point she did love her father a lot. While she is slowly growing upset with him that doesn't mean that love just vanished. This is something that Kaname sensed why he repeated to Rido to correct his feelings towards Aiyora. Whenever the next chapter is it will focus on the confrontation of Aiyora and her father.

...

Reply to guestwithreviews: If you remember Takuma was actually someone whom Aiyora saw as her brother. While Senri also carried out the role of big brother well, but Aiyora saw him differently. He's more like the crush, a person who gives her the feeling if having butterflies in the stomach. He's someone she likes romantically while also sharing a strong bond.

The role Takuma played in her life is something Kaname should have done. But unfortunately at first he wanted nothing to do with her. Then he tried to win her over for his agenda and now he's just buzzing around her like a fly does around sweets.

Yes, Takuma and Aiyora's relationship spiralled downward. Hopefully it will be fixed in the manga arc. Because over in this timeline they won't be seeing each other for much longer.

And as for Yuuki I'm sure you just saw what kind of mess she just woke up to.

Side note Aiyora still didn't get the courage to read the letter. The end of the anime timeline will possibly show what's in the letter.
