While Barriss believed in the force as well helping the galaxy, war has clouded her mind. And now struggles to see if she is losing her faith in this pursuit in helping the galaxy from the Separatist as well the Sith's control."

Jedi Temple-Barriss room

Within the large temple of the Jedi knights, as well the several dozen padawans that live within the building. Barriss, was right now meditating in her room. Gathering her thoughts, the young woman was calming her mind along of her thoughts about the war. With how it's been going, plus with how the Jedi have become more of fighters than peacemakers. Barriss fell silent along tried to focus on the good they were doing, except it was being filled with nothing more than blaster sounds as well the screams of innocent people.

"Help!"

The voices cried in her head like if they were in the room, feeling more unsure of herself. Barriss didn't even notice a vase plant she had, was floating. Along shaking in a surprised type of movement, Barriss eyes soon continued to feel guilt and anger for how while the Jedi were suppose to help out. They only encourage the war and fighting for the republic.

"In order to win the war, we must go to each planet that we've govern. As well assure the galaxy, that we bring. Peace."

Remembering the words from a meeting between the Jedi as well chancellor Palpatine, though the only thing she heard. Was nothing more than blasting, fighting as well screams in which her eyes widen losing her concentration. To which, her vase completely dropped to the ground breaking into pieces. It startled her as she looked at the broken piece as well her flowers.

Barriss: "I was just given those."

Telling herself as she remembered joining her master on a peace negotiation about transporting some republic ships passing by in their sector. In which ended well, along Barriss being offered flowers to show of a friendly partnership. Going over to clean it up, she watches out of the broken pieces as well holds the flowers. Heading to the door, it slides open to show that of Kizaemon. The shinobi of the wild force, as he was surprised to see Barriss in front of him as well holding flowers.

Kizaemon: "Apologies Barriss chan. I was passing by when I heard something break. Is everything alright?"

The hamster asked in a curious manner, along of how he noticed the broken vase as well Barriss's hands wet with the flowers being soaked in water.

Barriss: "It's alright Kizaemon, just a case broken. I need to get these to another as well fresh water before they die."

Informing her of the technique he just used, Barriss was surprise by the gesture and ability as she placed her flowers within the vase. Along poured in the water to keep them arrive, placing them back on her table. Kizaemon, noticed something off with the padawan.

Kizaemon: "If I disturbed you apologies, I'll leave if you require me to."

Offering her to find some peace as well collect her thoughts, however for what she just felt as well loss of control. Barriss needed to speak to someone, not a Jedi or her master. Someone else, that wasn't from this world as well could see things clearer.

Barriss: "It's alright, as well. I need someone to speak to, in which involves the war that you've been brought into."

Expressing herself to have him stay and to talk, in which the hamster could see she needed someone to listen. Possibly seeing she was stressed with herself along with the fighting and training she's been doing with her master. It shouldn't be a problem for him to listen, nodding his head agreeing with her. Barriss smiled as well closed the door to make sure no one else came in, cleaning up the mess on the floor. Both of them sits down on some chairs looking at one another.

Barriss: "Kizaemon, what do you think when you hear. Peacekeeper?"

Asking somewhat of a serious as well determine question from him sense he as well the other wild force members had different perspectives in this galaxy. Barriss: "Since the clone wars had begun all those years on Geonosis. The Jedi have lost their way to now become soldiers in the mist of it. As well how we aren't fighting for peace, but destruction for the dark side."

Thinking that after all these years of the Jedi fighting for the Republic as well adding themselves in the war. They had lost the meaning of what they were, Kizaemon. Merely listened to the woman continue about the Jedi losing themselves, as well her emotions being shown.

Barriss: "While they've saved countless lives, we still haven't found a way to end it where everyone can make peace. We've become a army that represents the dark side wanted, as well strayed away from the light. And I did not become a padawan to be manipulated in what I'm fighting against!"

Shouting as well making several objects move with her force powers, Kizaemon. Was surprised by this change of emotions from calm to out right angered. Barriss herself, looked at the mirror at how she was upset. Lowering her head, she merely sits back on her chair as well tried to keep her emotions in. Kizaemon, saw how the war caught onto her. As well that it took a toll on her, in which this wasn't what she desired in becoming a Jedi.

He spoke in Japanese in which Barriss, looked at him confused to which she didn't know what he said as that type of language wasn't here in the galaxy. Kizaemon. Saw the confusion on her face to which he would need to translate it.

Kizaemon: "Sometimes, the light that the Jedi stand for. Can often be seen as something else. Like darkness, however. There people, who can see it. As well truly fight for it, as well know others will stand by them. When everyone is against them."

Explaining to her that sometimes, what most people fight for can often be disguised by something else. Plus how that she wouldn't be alone, while it was helpful for her to understand it. Barriss still felt like the war would continue, and the Jedi would be fighting until there was nothing left. Kizaemon, merely hands her a leaf which meant it was a gift for her.

Kizaemon: "Peace, while always seems possible from my world to here. Can always be seen in a form no one can truly see, even to a master. Something my sensei told me."

Remembering something he learned from his human owner, Barriss smiled at the kind gesture as well thanked him. Though before he was going to leave, her mind soon spiked like if something had happened. Holding the side, Kizaemon noticed her as well the leads she dropped on the ground.

Kizaemon: "Barriss? Are you alright?"

Looking concern for the Jedi padawan as he never seen one act like this, while he heard whenever a Jedi would show this expression. It was a sign, Barriss was now feeling a terrible disturbance.

Barriss: "No, somethings wrong. As if a new form of power has been shown, and has people cowering in fear."

Informing him about the disturbance she felt, to which suddenly the door opened showing master Luminara. Who somehow came at the right moment when Barriss felt that sudden presence.

Luminara: "Barriss, we need to leave. We have to return to Mirial."

Telling her in a serious manner seeing how this was important, Kizaemon saw how her master along Barriss were serious. To which the padawan got up as well followed her, while the Shinobi wouldn't do anything without his team. This seemed urgent and couldn't gather the others. He just needed someone to help out if there were casualties. Getting up he decided to head back to his room to find anyone that might be available.

Outside of the Jedi temple

Leaving the temple was both Luminara and Barriss who were heading to a ship. As well discussing the matter of what was happening.

Luminara: "I was attending a meeting with the Jedi council about the decreasing attacks from Grievous until I sensed trouble on Mirial. I do not know what's happening, but we need to do this on our own."

Informing her about how she herself felt the disturbance and couldn't ask the Jedi to assistance. Since the planet Mirial was considered a ally of the Jedi but not of the republic due to them focusing their concentration as well focus on the force. Not of politics or the republic's desires, as the pair continued to walk. Both Luminara and Barriss felt something coming, right behind them was a pair of familiar beings which was Kizaemon and Speed who rushed to them.

Kizaemon: "Luminara sama, I request that we come with you to aid you in this mission."

The shinobi requests to which Barriss looked surprised at how he came to help her, even if this involved both her and Luminara since this was considered a home problem.

Luminara: "Kizaemon, while I respect your way of discipline and honor. This is something that must be handled by ourselves."

Responding to his offer and declined it, Speed. Tapping his foot could tell that there was more to it. In which he raises his finger informing her that he wanted to say something.

Speed: "Yes, master. While this is something I would agree since it's 'Jedi' business. A new power isn't exactly to be taken lightly, since of Evil came out of nowhere and helped Kenobi. So if he's behind what's happening on your home. We want in."

Adding his voice on the matter along bringing a example about their own problem, Lord Evil. Who helped Obi was with handling Darth Maul. She as well other Jedi masters heard the report and was to keep watch if he or the other masters showed up. Barriss, looked at the animal teens desiring to help in which wouldn't be a bad idea.

Barriss: "Master, I agree that we should handle this without the Jedi and republic. Both Kizaemon and Speed aren't affiliated by them, as well have risked their lives to helping others. Especially when it doesn't involve that of the war."

Offering them a chance to possibly help out, Luminara noticed how Barriss supporting the two boys aid in helping them. Breathing in she opens the doors which meant a possibly yes could happen.

Luminara: "Once I told Padawan Tano to not follow me when I fought Asajj Ventress. She ignored me to risk her own life to save me, meaning there's a arrogance in teens that want to help. Which is something that shouldn't be turned away."

Telling them how Ahsoka, while ordered to not help her. Did so to protect her from the sith assassin, as well accepted the pair's offer as she could require some assistance. Heading into the ship to prepare, Speed and Kizaemon smiled along with Barriss. Who merely bows her head to them in welcoming them aboard.

Speed: "Thanks Barriss, maybe we don't get hurt or banged up. We got a sports game everyone will be watching, have a spot if your interested."

Offering her a place to hangout once the job was over, Barriss merely gave him a smile thinking about it while Kizaemon. Merely shows a somewhat annoyed look at how that was his way of thanking someone. Both wild force members along with the padawan boards the ship in which Luminara. Starts up the engines before taking off to space, where they would be returning to their home world Mirial.

Mirial system

Traveling across several sectors of space as well passing some moons. Luminara's ship continued to travel to her home world while in the back, was Barriss explaining to the two earth beings of her home. As well their tradition and background, such as them being devoted followers of learning the ways of the force.

Kizaemon: "Very honorable, that your people dedicate to learning the force. Even if they aren't able to wield it."

Being rather respectful to Barriss people on how while most of her people didn't have the force, it didn't discourage them from understanding it. As well desiring to learn the ways of it, Speed. Smiled at it as well in which reminds him of earth.

Speed: "Just like humans, back home we had monks that tried to seek inner peace. As well led to, different routes. But a whole planet? That's commitment."

Surprised as they soon noticed the planet they were heading to, for both Barriss and Luminara. It had been a long time since they've visited their home, in which it hasn't been that often due to their responsibilities to the Jedi as well honor their people in learning the force from other cultures. Finding a safe place to land, the ship soon docks upon near the landing districts where most of worlders would land. Heading off, they looked around to see that the planet was like any other. Large buildings as well a normal like environment. However they were here to check out the disturbance.

Speed: "Maybe I should do a quick run away, get a feel of the land."

Offering to use his powers to run around the city to see if he could track down the area, however Luminara stopped him as it wasn't the way to find the problem. To which the cheetah got confused on why the woman wasn't going let him run.

Luminara: "Things worked different here on my home, in which we use our senses as well of to find the problem."

Telling him about that the only way to get things done, was to rely on the force and their natural talents. The cheetah looked possibly annoyed, but merely agreed with this. Kizaemon had no problem in which he goes into a meditation like stance, Barriss as well Luminara did so as well in which Speed. Sighs and crosses his arms seeing he had to wait. For the three trained individuals, they focused all of their mental concentration on where the problem was happening. In which across one of the certain parts of the planet to where they heard a cry out for help.

Barriss: "I found it!"

Opening her eyes out in which she knew where it was happening, Kizaemon got up as well pointed to where it was happening. The sound of stress was coming from a temple, Speed. Relief at how they knew the place, went over to the three and made sure they held onto him.

Speed: "Finally, time for some good old fashion butt whooping."

Smiling as the Jedi master was going to protest against this. The cheetah merely activated his visors in which would help him avoid any incoming obstacles, as well soon begins his running. While Kizaemon was used to being dragged with Speed during his hyper fast running, both Jedi's weren't as well felt like they were going into hyperspace. Moving past the people along of any obstacles coming right to him, Speed soon stops at the temple where the problem was happening. Taking a moment, both Barriss and Luminara tried to catch their breath as well steady their hearts from what just happened.

Luminara: "I wish, to never. Do that, again."

Telling Speed as she soon got her concentration, in which she and Barriss rushed up to the temple. Along of Kizaemon and Speed, who wanted to see what was going on. Arriving within the temple, they saw several Mirialan monks on the ground as well wounded.

Kizaemon: "They've been attacked, no weapon marks. But of hand to hand combat, increased strength by the looks of it."

The shinobi trying to figuring out who was behind this, to which Luminara and Barriss looked at the center of the temple. Right near some lighted candles, several scrolls showing the language of her people. Along a male Mirialan, who looked old but somewhat changed. With having robes, but his arms looking rather vein based plus of his hair flared up.

Barriss: "Elder Rugke?"

Asking his name knowing this man, in which both Speed and Kizaemon turned to the padawan who may know this master. Rugke, looked at them with a angered look as well calmed himself to see the two jedi here.

Rugke: "Luminara, it is good to see you. As well to now hear the words that I have learned from someone who is against this war."

Expressing somewhat of a revelation, in which Speed could tell the guy was possibly off his blocker. In which Luminara merely listens along Barriss not understanding why the elder was doing this, as well what had happen to him.

Rugke: "For years we have believed the force could have aided us, along help us to find peace. Though I was wrong, in order to achieve it. We must use violence, as well become something else."

Merely looked a bit embarrassed as he had no weapon, Rugke. Merely sighs at how they defied him. In which he groans in a painful like groan, coming from behind his back they saw a extra pair of arms. Along that they had been sharped, this was defiantly the work of Headcase.

Rugke: "The galaxy has been blinded by how the war will never end, to that end. The masters have a plan that will end this futile battle between the light and darkness. We must use the darkness, to ensure peace!"

Shouting as he leapt in the air, all four of them were surprised at how agile the elder was. In which he did a quadruple kick at all of them as well sent them to the wall, they were all shocked by this sudden attack as the elder was considered a great fighter. However, whatever Headcase gave him was something else.

Speed: "Now this, is unfair. On the fact that this guy is somewhat of martial artist, as well enhanced by Headcase."

Calling out in which Rugke merely got into a fight stance, Kizaemon saw how this wouldn't be won by blades. But of hand to hand skill, in which he rushed over to him. Barriss and Luminara rushed at the elder, to where even if he had no weapon. The male was able to dodge the hamster's fists, along of the women's lightsabers. So far whatever Headcase gave him, it was capable enough to hold off two Jedi as well a mutant shinobi.

Barriss: "Elder Rugke. The masters are not to be trusted, they only desire nothing but conquest. As well will use any type of method to get what they desire."

Explaining to him on how the deal he made with the group of villains wasn't a wise one, to which the elder tried to punch. Only for her to avoid it as well allow Kizaemon, to strike at the device on his chest. The three moved back and saw the piece fall off and breaking into pieces. Though his extra arms didn't go away, they were still there.

Rugke: "The only desire is to free us from the incompetency of the Jedi, Republic as well Separatists. They wish for order but only bring destruction, the masters see through their lies. And they will give the people the means to truly end this, even if it means becoming villains ourselves."

Stating to the young one how the Jedi weren't helping them, to which was something she stated before coming here. Luminara, saw how his words were affecting her apprentice. In which she rushed at him, trying to attack him. However couldn't due to how he moved, Speed. Checking the chance to attack, rushes him. Doing a side kick to Rugke's legs. He was surprised by it but still managed to hold off against the cheetah and Luminara, both Barriss and Kizaemon saw how this was leading nowhere.

Kizaemon: "We must end this, otherwise one of us will be badly injured."

Stating to which Barriss nodded, remembering a old move that she learned here. Whispers to him, the hamster nodded as well saw Luminara holding off Rugke for much as possible.

Luminara: "The Jedi may have their faults, but we stand for the peace of the galaxy. And will aid the worlds that can't defend themselves, even if it means standing against our own worlds who want conflict."

Stating to him as Rugke was going to attack her, however the Jedi master noticed behind her Barriss and Kizaemon coming in. Leaping over, Barriss did a dual palm fist attack on his chest. While Kizaemon, leapt up behind his back and threw him to a wall. Speed, taking the chance grabbed a large drape from the temple as well did a mad dash at him. Tying up the four armed Mirialan as well making sure he didn't break out, the Cheetah soon threw him up into the air again.

Speed: "Eat cat feet!"

Shouting to him as he does a spinning kick to Rugke's face, knocking him out the elder soon collapsed on the ground beaten. In which the four looked at the fallen male, who had now changed into something else.

Luminara: "It is one thing for the masters to wage battle with the Jedi, but to use one of my people against it? Unforgivable."

Feeling upset, as well seeing there was no end to Evil's plans in trying to cause chaos for this galaxy. Speed and Luminara grab their beaten foe as well decided to take him to the ship. Barriss, merely felt upset about what she witnessed as Kizaemon noticed.

Barriss: "Would I, become that if I continued to think the war wouldn't end? Make a deal with a madman?"

Asking herself seeing how if one of her elder's could fall from his path of learning the force, would she? Kizaemon, saw the conflict and walked over to her placing a hand on her shoulder.

Kizaemon: "War will make people do rash things, as well lead to situations like this. However, those who truly believe about fighting a war with allies to trust. Is better than fighting alone."

Giving her something to think about as the elder didn't have anyone, along only the monks to continue trying to learn the ways of the force. Barriss, had friends to look over her. Along of certain beings with their own point of views, in which she smiled rather grateful like. The two soon walked out following the Jedi master as well Speed, to which they could possibly continue their talk. As well get something to eat after this interesting fight.
