He blocked Ethan Nakamura's spear with his sword. "You and your friends wont win," Ethan said as he lunged at him.
Magnus blocked the spear with his sword and was about to strike at Ethan when a large lion almost attacked him. He swore as he managed to get out of the way just as Nico's skeletons subdued the lion. "Thanks Nico," he said.
Nico nodded, "No problem." The lion roared before turning into a smaller creature to escape the skeletons. Alex then transformed back into her human form and stood next to Ethan.
"You and your friends are all toast," She said with a big smile. She then let out a laugh, "Why do you both bother fighting for Olympus? They don't accept either of you and its not like they will if you help them."
He saw Nico grip his sword, "That's none of your business. We will not let Kronos win and destroy everything."
"Yeah we decide where we belong and the camp accepts all people," he said he looked at Nico and swore he saw him flinch. He looked at Alex and Ethan, "We will not let you or Kronos hurt our camp."
Alex laughed, "Our camp you say? From what we understand the son of Hades isn't welcomed at your camp."
Nico flinched as he glared at the green haired kid, "That's none of your business," Nico spat. "I train with the dead."
"Yeah besides Nico is always welcomed at our camp," he said as he gripped his sword. He looked at Nico who was glaring at Alex. "Our camp doesn't discriminate against who we let in."
Nico looked at him in surprise but quicky turned away and face Alex, "We will not allow Kronos to rise."
Alex laughed, "That's fine then you will die along with all of your friends," she then turned into a lion and charged at Nico while Ethan charged at him with a spear.
Ethan was an experienced fighter, he had to concentrate a lot in order to keep up with him. "Why do you even bother fighting for Olympus?" Ethan asked as he thrusted his spear at him. "You owe them nothing."
"The Camp is my home," he said firmly as he blocked the strike. "I will defend it along with my friends and family."
Ethan had a neutral look on his face as he attempted to stab him with his spear though for a second he saw sympathy. I can't keep up with him in a sword fight he is good he thought as Ethan attempted to dislodge gram from his hands.
However, to his luck an arrow from Skirnir flew at Ethan who dodged it. He quickly took the opportunity to disarm him with the Peace of Frey sending Ethan's spear miles away. He pointed Gram at Ethan's throat. "Stop you can end this here," he said as he felt his power in his words. "Kronos will not win this war."
Ethan looked at him and for and he looked as if he were busy contemplating a difficult decision. For a moment he hoped he could reason with him but then Alex spoke up, "Don't listen to him Ethan, people like him will always oppress others," she spat as she dodged Nico's sword.
The green haired girl glared at him, "Kronos will remake this world and we will see it through to the end!"
"Kronos is a liar," Nico said as he glared at the green haired girl. "His promised mean nothing, he will only bring destruction."
Alex laughed, "Destruction you say? Then I say this world deserves it, with his guidance the oppressed will no longer be oppressed. How many people have been cast aside in this world? Kronos will be generous to his supporters."
This girl is completely brainwashed by Kronos he thought as he kept an eye on Ethan who appeared conflicted.
"You are crazy!" Nico said as he summoned some skeletons that charged at Alex.
The green haired girl only laughed as she turned into a lion and met the skeletons head on. Ethan only remained standing as the lion attacked the skeletons and despite being wounded she would continue to fight off the lions. "Just give up already," Nico said as he summoned more skeletons. "You cannot win this fight," Nico said as he gripped his sword.
Alex then lunged a skeleton at Nico which nearly knocked him over and then she charged at him. "Nico!" He called out and was about to help but Alex was hit to the ground by Sam of all people.
"Sorry sister but I won't let you hurt him," Sam said as she glared at them.
Alex got up and laughed, "Oh it will take more than that to hurt me," she spat out blood and rushed at Sam in her human form, sword in hand.
I have to act quick he thought as he pushed Ethan Nakamura out of the way. Ethan seemed to not care anymore as he ran at Sam and Alex. He snapped his finger, focusing his power on Alex's weapon and it flew out of her hand.
Alex was taken by surprise and was struck by the but of Sam's ax just in time to kick her to the ground. "You wouldn't hit a girl now would you?" Alex said mockingly.
"Girl? I thought you were a guy?" He said as he gripped Gram. "Well either way you hurt my cousin and you will pay."
"I am a guy until i say so," she said glaring at him. "And I am a girl when I say so. Do you understand?" She sneered.
"Not really," he said as they closed ranks around her. He, Sam, and Nico had her surrounded weapons drawn and Ethan appeared to not be interested in fighting.
"Come on Alex it's over," Ethan said setting down his spear.
"It is far from over," Alex sneered. "I will help Kronos with his goal and achieve his goal so people like me can live in peace."
"You are crazy if you think Kronos will bring peace to the world," Sam said. "Are you honestly that brainwashed by our father?"
Alex gave them a cold glare, her eyes which were different colors were anything but friendly. "Like any of you would understand what it feels like to be different."
"Yeah well we all have our challenges," Nico said as he gripped his sword. "Don't think that you are too special."
Alex laughed, "I will enjoy taking you all down with me. After all us Norse demigods earn our place through a glorious death," she said as she transformed into a tiger and lunged at Nico. They tried to react but before they could do anything Alex was hit to the ground by a blast of fire.
"Alex!" Ethan called out as he ran to her.
He and Nico turned and saw Hades walking towards them, "Not my son you lunatic," Hades said glaring at Alex.
"Nico are you ok?" He asked as he went up to Nico.
"Yeah I am thanks for asking," Nico said as they looked at Alex on the ground. Alex's body reverted back to her human form. The entire right side of her body was burned as she lay unconscious on the ground
Ethan sighed, "You definitely had your problems Alex but you deserved better in life."
Hades stared at them, "She isn't dead though if she goes near my son again she will be."
Ethan only nodded as a group of skeletal arms came up from the ground and brought her to the underworld. "Don't worry I won't kill her yet," Hades said with a cold look. Ethan gulped and nodded as he dropped his weapon.
Ethan then looked up at him, "Hopefully things work out well for Percy."
He nodded and Ethan sat down on a nearby bench as Hades summoned some guards to watch him. Just then various bright lights headed towards Olympus. "Looks like they are back," Hades muttered as he watched the Olympians enter Olympus.
"Yes, we have just finished our battle with Typhon," Athena said appearing next to them in full battle armor. She appeared tired as she stood in front of them. He and Nico bowed to her as she smiled to them, "Magnus, Lord Zeus requested that you join the meeting that is about to happen."
"Is it over?" He asked.
Athena nodded and smiled, "It is, Olympus is saved." She then turned to Hades, you should come too with your son." Hades sighed and nodded as Athena disappeared.
"I'll see you there Nico," he said.
Nico looked at him and nodded, "Yeah man you too and thanks for helping me," he said
Nico avoided his gaze, "No problem."
"You really are welcome at camp don't let others tell you otherwise," he said as he put his arm on Nico's shoulder. Nico flinched and looked him in the eyes and for a second he saw fear in them. "You won't be judged for who you are," he said firmly looking into them before pulling Nico in for a hug. Nico seemed as surprised as he was and hugged him back.
"Thanks," Nico whispered as he pulled away and for once he swore he saw a small smile on his face before Nico and his dad disappeared into the shadows. "Good luck with the meeting."
"Good luck Magnus," Sam said as she cleaned off the blood of her ax. "I doubt I should go up with you."
"Thanks," he said, I'm going to need it. He then ran towards the Empire State Building. The trip to Olympus was a blur for him as he ran towards the throne room, even Hades had a makeshift seat. When he entered he saw Percy, Grover, and Annabeth standing in front of the Gods.
When he entered they turned and saw him, "Magnus!" They all said as they ran over to hug him.
"I'm glad you are both safe," He said as he hugged them both.
"Yeah me too," Percy said looking at him with a pained look. "It's over now though, finally it is over."
Zeus cleared his throat and they all turned around embarrassed. He greeted Zeus and did a quick bow as Zeus began to speak. "You all did well in your efforts to defend Olympus," he said firmly. Zeus then thanked everyone for being there, even his brothers who were both smiling smugly at Zeus thanking them.
"Now then," Zeus said with a sigh as he turned to face all of them. "I believe it is time we thank our demigod heroes for their services in defending Olympus
He called over Thalia first and thanked her for her services and said that he will help her in filling out. Thalia looked really happy and bowed at her dad and thanked him. Grover was next and he was given will be a member of the Council of the Cloven Elders and will be treated as the Lord of the Wild, Grover was so happy he passed out had to be taken out by some nature spirits.
"Annabeth Chase," Athena called out with a smile. Annabeth came up, her face was bright red as she bowed. "You my daughter have exceeded expectations. Despite being captured you resisted the temptations of Kronos all the way. We will give you the opportunity to improve Olympus and build many new things."
Magnus and Percy both saw her eyes widen as if she had just one the lottery or something, "R-Really? I can design anything I want?"
Athena smiled at her and nodded, "You are now officially Olympus's architect."
"Thank you," Annabeth said as she bowed.
Magnus then felt Athena's eyes on him. For a second he thought she was angry at him but then she smiled, "Magnus Chase please come forth."
He gulped as he nodded and bowed in front of the Gods. He knew he may have Brocken some Ancient Law by having his dad drop him off, his dad taking out a titan, his father's chariot, and summoning a bunch of elves to help them. Just stay calm and be extra respectful he thought as he took a deep breath.
"Yes Magnus Chase," Zeus said looking at him with his piercing gaze. "You and the son of Poseidon took out the dragon Fafnir."
"Yes a noteworthy deed," Poseidon said with a nod.
Zeus gave his brother a look before turning back to him, "You used items and a vehicle that belong to another pantheon, a very risky move."
"But one that worked," Athena said in a calm tone. "No rules or laws were broken. While his father did defeat Prometheus he did so in defense of his territory and subject. Also, while he did receive help from his father's realm would it be any different if you or Poseidon helped your children if they were out of our influence?"
Poseidon nodded and Zeus sighed, "You are right. Very well Magnus Chase we will allow you to remain in our world for so long as you wish."
Athena nodded, "We will also allow you to tell those whom you trust about your heritage at camp. Also, should the time come we will discuss with your father's side about your future."
Magnus felt his eyes widen, "Thank you Lady Athena," He said with a bow, he turned and saw Percy and Athena smile at him.
"Yes," Hades said looking at him. "Though know this Magnus Chase, if you die and end up in my Underworld you are staying there."
He flinched under Hades's gaze but nodded, "I understand Lord Hades. Thank you all."
Zeus nodded, "Good, though just to be clear do not let all of our children know of your world. Pantheons are separated for a reason and conflict can occur, so to reduce the chances of that happening do not tell every single person."
He nodded, "I understand Lord Zeus." How the hell am I going to explain the elves? He sighed but figured that he will think of something.
"Also I asked Demeter to make you this," Athena said as a medium sized lunchbox. "It is enchanted to grant you whatever food you desire in unlimited quantity."
"Any food?" He asked as his eyes widened.
"Yes any food," Athena said with a smile.
"Thank you Lady Demeter," he said as he bowed deeply. Unlimited Falafel was something he would greatly enjoy.
"Good," Poseidon said. "Now for my son Percy Jackson."
"Good luck man," he said as he patted Percy on the back. Percy nodded and thanked him as he stepped forward and did a small bow.
"Percy Jackson the council has agreed that you shall gain any gift from the Gods," Zeus said.
"Any gift?" Percy asked nervously
"Yes and I know what you will ask. You wish for immortality right?" Zeus asked
Immortality? His eyes widened as he looked at Annabeth who appeared just as shocked and surprised. Though in his cousin's eyes he could also see fear in them. If Percy became a god his relationship with both of us would be different. Percy looked at them and nodded, neither of them said anything.
"No thanks," Percy said as a dangerous silence filled the room. "I'm honored and everything but I've got a lot to live for and I don't want to peak in my sophomore year of high school. I do want a gift however but first I want you all to swear on the Styx."
"What you don't trust us?" Dionysus said.
"Someone once told me that I should always get a solemn oath," Percy said looking at Hades who only shrugged and nodded.
"Very well," Zeus growled. "In the name of the council, we swear by the River Styx to grant your request as long as it is within our power." The other Gods grumbled and all swore on the Styx.
"Good," Percy said with a sigh he turned to both of them and smiled.
Annabeth looked like she was about to tear up while he just smiled at nodded at Percy, "Be specific in your request," he signed to him. Percy nodded as he felt a bunch of glares on him.
Percy took a deep breath before he gave his request. Percy demanded that no demigod children remain unclaimed and that they must all be claimed by the age of thirteen. He demanded that cabins be made for the minor Gods and Hades, amnesty for those that rebelled against them, and the ending of the pact of the Big Three."
"Also, Calypso is to be freed from her prison. I want her to be able to own Ogygia and to be able to visit it when she wants to. Me and Magnus will get her as soon as possible. Dad I want her to stay in our cabin as well until she finds a place to stay and need you to help guide us to get her," he said. Poseidon nodded with a small smile on his face.
"Is that all? You presume much," Zeus said in a cool tone.
Percy nodded, "It is."
Zeus sighed, "Then we shall grant your requests."
Percy smiled and he and Annabeth went to hug him. "Good job man," he said.
Percy smiled at him, "Thanks guys."
With that they left Olympus. However, when they got outside and were greeted with the Empire State Building being shaded blue at Percy's request.
"Guys we have a problem," Nico said running up to them "It's Rachel."
Annabeth frowned, "What did she do now?"
"She took Blackjack and flew to camp," Nico said.
Percy's eyes widened, "No," he mumbled. "We have to get back now."
"Don't worry I go this," he said. "Skirnir!" He called out.
Skrinir came up to them with Samirah, Hearth and Blitz in the chariot and bowed to them. "Lord Chase what do you need. The rest of the elves have returned home to your father's realm."
"Ok no problem, we need you to take us to camp," he said.
Skirnir nodded, "Of course my lord but I can only drop you off at the borders since we cannot bring the chariot into the camp less we bring problems for your father and Asgard."
"No problem," he said as he turned to Percy, Annabeth, and Nico lets go guys."
