February 22, 2021:

Well then, ANOTHER Monday update? Well, I also have this monday free :D

So, I hope you are having a GOOD day and had a good week!

We continue with the adventure, now with the battle of the valley, something that I have been thinking for a while. I hope it's of your liking.

Anyway, nothing much to say, other that I hope you all enjoy the chapter.

Chapter 53: The battle of the Red Eyes Valley.

The large doors of the wall slowly closed, as the last of the soldiers left the city and walked into the valley. As the doors shut behind them, the army of Spellcasters and Warriors marched forward to the Fire Temple, that was surrounded by millions of Heartless. The Warriors were first, and the Spellcasters were behind, as they will be the support, while the Warriors will be the main offensive line. This was because, well, Warriors were better to tank all Heartless attacks.

To protect themselves from the intense heat of the Fire Crystal, as on the inside of the valley the temperatures were almost unbearable, the Spellcasters used some spells on their warrior allies' armors to cool themselves. They still feel the effects of the Fire Crystal, but they were not that big, compared to if they didn't had them. Heat Waves would have hit them in mere minutes.

The Crystal Team, that was composed mainly of Spellcasters, were on the second group, just behind the Warriors. However, both Chisato and Alan were on the Warrior group, as they were, well, warriors.

"Why is Alan-kun in the front?" asked Krysopa, worried about the young man.

"It's because he is more a Warrior than a Spellcaster." Karoita answered, also worried…not of him, but of her young sister, as she knew what could happen if something happens to the human.

"I…I just hope he will be ok…"

"Don't worry about him!" Exclaimed Kuarzo, trying to cheer her up. "Alan-kun is REALLY strong now! Almost Master's level. He won't fall in this battle."

"But why? Why does he and the other Warriors must be in the front?" asked Krysopa again.

"Because they will be the spear of the lance. We will be the support, protecting them from projectiles and try to use our magic to open a way for them. They will be our sword and shield. We will be the crossbow."

"I don't think that can apply like that, Kuarzo." Commented Kainita (Iridia), the Silent Magician, smiling nervously. "But we have to do everything to protect them."

"Indeed!" said Kuarzo. "Hey, Krystal oneesan! We leave Alan-kun's care to you."

"Eh? Y-yes, I will." Answered Kristal, as she was pulled out of her thoughts.

"What's the matter, sis? Nervous?" asked Karoita.

"Kind off. I mean, I don't want to face another endless wave of Heartless…again…" Kristal answered, as she remembered what happened back in the Water Temple.

"Don't worry, Kristal!" Exclaimed Steve. "NOW we have an army, cannons AND a Blue Eyes White Dragon! There is no way we can lose."

"Famous last words, Steve." Said Marcus, as he shook his head in disapproval. "Anyway, bet I can kill more than you!"

"You are on!"

"Concentrate, everyone!" exclaimed Duncan, as he shut up everyone. "This is serious. Remember the plan, ok."

As everyone nodded, Kristal remembered the plan that they were told to do.

In essence, the plan was simple: They will go out in two lines: one of Warriors and one of Spellcasters. They will walk towards the Fire Temple and the Heartless will approach, but they will be protected by the canons of the city until a certain point, as the shots of the canons will disperse eventually. After that, Dinara will fly forward and, using her Burst Stream of Destruction attack, she will create a corridor that the group will use to rush forward. Then, the plan was that the Warriors will go first, being the 'tanks' of the army, and then the Spellcasters behind them.

But a last minute change will work better.

Vianto suggested that, instead of a line of Warriors and a line of Spellcasters behind, they should pair a Warrior with a Spellcaster, and that they will go as a team. That way, the Spellcaster can protect the Warrior with their magic, while the Warrior can protect the Spellcaster from physical attacks. They will work as a duo, and run towards the Fire Temple as one.

Some of the sisters wanted to be Alan's partner, but they couldn't decide which one will be, so they decided to pick a name at random…and Kristal was the one selected, so she was going to be Alan's partner.

"You are lucky." Kuarzo pouted. "I wanted to be with Alan-kun."

"You would have been hugging him all day, not protect him." Said Karoita in disdain.

"Maybe? Maybe not? Who knows, maybe my boobs on his back will awaken the beast inside him and will kill all the Heartless."

"That is NOT what you will awake in him, sis."

"Anyway!" Kristal exclaimed, knowing full well what they were talking about. "I know him for longer, so I guess it is good. I'll see how much he has grew up."

"He has become stronger, right?" asked Kainita, smiling a little.

"Yeah, especially since I meet him. He was really weak…but now…he is stronger than us. He will be fine, don't worry about him."

"Just…take care of him, ok?" asked Kuarzo, now sounding kind of nervous, something she noticed.

"I will." Kristal said with determination. "I swear I will."

As they continue talking, the Heartless noticed the army and began to run towards them. However, the cannons of Kyushu-Ho fired and destroyed the first wave of Heartless with ease. The cannons were good at keeping them away from the army. However, as the army move away from the city, the cannons had a harder time to lock in a way to not hit the army, so they were becoming less effective. There was a point that the cannons couldn't lock without their shots exploding close to the army, so the signal was made that the cannons should stop firing in front of the Heartless Army, and in its place, fire into the air so that the energy shots can rain into other parts of the army.

Freed, in front of the Warrior army, order them all to stop, and so the line of warriors stopped. In the front line, Alan looked at the almost endless ocean of Heartless around the Fire Temple.

"Damn." He said. "Even after the cannons killed thousands of them, it almost looks like they did nothing to their numbers."

"Are you afraid, Alan?" asked Chisato besides him.

"A little, yes. Last time I faced this many numbers, I had an Egyptian God to fight for me. This time…will be a little different."

"But you are stronger, right?"

"Correct! So not sure if I am afraid…or excited."

"Well…this will be dangerous."

Alan chuckled, as he couldn't stop himself.

"Certain death? Low chances of success?... What are we waiting for?"

Chisato smiled.

"Glad you find it funny."

Then, some soldier blew another horn, and soon, the Spellcaster line walked forward and joined the Warrior one, as the Spellcasters paired themselves with the Warriors. Kristal stood behind Alan, while Karoita stood behind Chisato.

Meanwhile, Duncan stood beside Freed, while Strum stood beside Vianto. The four of them looked at the endless army of Heartless in front of them.

"So…this is it." Started Strum. "Are you all ready?"

"I am ready." Said Vianto with determination. "Let this be a glorious battle."

"We shall begin." Said Duncan, before looking at the army behind him. "They may need motivation."

"Let me." Said Freed, as he turned to look at the army of Warriors, Heroes and Spellcasters. "My friends! The time has come! Our world is in danger! Dark forces want to consume our land. The land of our ancestors! The land of our children! But WE can stop it! WE can make a difference!"

Everyone looked at Freed, as he took out his sword and raised it over his head.

"My friends! Lend me your strength! Let's protect…our future!"

The whole army yelled in agreement, as everyone took out their weapons, and prepared for combat. The Heartless army began to run towards them, and they knew it was time. Alan saw this and summoned his Keyblade, as Kristal stood behind him with her staff ready.

"Are you ready, Alan?" asked Kristal, as she floated behind him.

"I am in your care, Kristal." Alan responded.

"And I am in yours."

Both smiled, as Kristal closed her eyes and chanted some spell.

Or three of them.

"BARRIER! SHELL! HASTE!"

Immediately, both Kristal and Alan were surrounded by three different aura spells: one blue, one pink and one orange, before it disappeared.

"Alright! This is where the fun begins." Alan said, as another busty female walked besides him, this one having blue hair. "Ready, Dinara?"

"Ready, Master Alan." Said the young woman, as she smiled at him, before she levitate a little from the floor, and dashed, alone, towards the Heartless Army.

Alan smiled, before he turned towards Duncan, who nodded.

"They are ready." Said Duncan. "Let's begin."

"Alright then!" Exclaimed Freed, as he pointed his sword forward. "FOR REGNO TENEBRAE!"

Another horn sounded again, and immediately, the whole Army began to run forward, ready for combat.

Dinara was gliding in front of the whole army, facing the Heartless alone. The Heartless saw her and immediately dashed towards her to kill her. The Dinara from a few days ago would have escaped, afraid not of the Heartless, but of her own power. But the Dinara now…she was different.

'Thanks again, Master Alan.' She though, before her body began to glow.

Suddently, in place of Dinara, now stood a powerful Blue Eyes White Dragon. Her roar caused all Heartless in front of her to stop in surprise, as she opened her mouth and charged energy on her throat.

A burst of blue energy emerged from her mouth and destroyed every Heartless in front of her. The blue beam continued and destroyed any Heartless in a direct line, from where she stood to the Fire Temple, as the energy beam impacted against the shield of the Temple, several kilometers (miles) away. She then moved her head from one side to another, killing more and more Heartless, creating a fan of destruction in front of her, leaving it empty. After a few seconds, Dinara stopped and saw the large empty space her attack has created. She used more energy in that shot that normal, so it caused more destruction.

Proud of her work, Dinara now began to fly, to face the flying Heartless. A group of Mages and some Elemental Heroes followed her to cover her sides, as the Army began to run towards the Fire Temple, using the path the dragon girl have created.

"It's our chance!" Exclaimed Freed. "Let's go! To the Fire Temple!"

The army dashed with all of their strenght towards the Temple. Normally, it would have taken a few minutes to reach it, as they could use aura to empower their legs and arrive quickly. However, the path made by Dinara was quickly closing, as the Heartless began to fill the space. Not only that, but Heartless began to emerge from the floor in front of everyone, as they recovered from the attack.

The army was able to run a full 7 kilometers towards the Temple with no obstacles, but now…the path has close, and the Heartless are there.

"Fight! Everyone!"

And so, the battle begins. The armies of Spellcasters and Warriors clashed against the ones of the Heartless, and an intense battle started. Swords and Spears clashed against Claws of Darkness, as Spells and Elemental Attacks flew around all of them, creating great chaos and confusion.

Alan blocked the claws of a Heartless with his new arm shield, before he ended it's existence by striking it with the Keyblade, before having to turn around and cut another one who tried to attack him from behind. More Heartless faced him, but he cut and kicked them with some ease.

'This is way easier than when I fought on the Water Temple.' Alan thought to himself, as he charged an Ice spell, a Hyadaruko (Crackle), and released it as a blizzard against a group of Heartless and froze them in place. 'I have really become stronger. I can do it!'

"THUNDARA!"

Suddently, he felt some static shock behind him, so he turned to look back, and saw how some Heartless were disappearing, and Kristal was floating over them.

"Don't let your guard down, Alan!" Kristal scolded him. "You didn't notice them and almost got you!"

"No, I DID notice them." Alan said, as he killed another Heartless that tried to attack him. "My senses are sharper now, and I can feel their energies. It's just that I knew you were behind to protect my back."

"I may be, but don't expect me to save you all time."

"Not all time…only the time where it matters."

"Whateve- WATCH OUT!"

Alan turned back and saw several orbs of darkness coming towards him and Kristal. He cut two with his Keyblade, and then lifted his shield and empowered it with his aura to block the other two shots, while Kristal lifted her left hand and created a magic circle in front of her, blocking the dark orbs. Both young ones looked in the direction from where the orbs came from.

And Alan opened his eyes in surprise.

It was big, dark blue, and with a large heart-shaped hole in his chest. His mouth was covered in tentacles and his large muscles showed his power. He lifted his large hand and punched the floor and made a pool of darkness, where many small Shadow Heartless emerged.

"W-What in Ra's name is that?!" Asked Kristal in surprise, as it was the first time seeing such a big Heartless.

"No way!" Alan exclaimed. "It's a fucking Darkside!"

"Uh, with a name like that, I suppose it means trouble."

"Technically, yes. In the games he is one of the first bosses, aka the weakest one, but in lore it's said to be one that appear when a world is consumed by darkness, and it's very strong. And by how I can feel its energy, he is the second. Although…"

"What is it?"

"Now that I see it closely…it's… smaller than a normal Darkside. Wait… that's a Dark Follower."

"Dark Follower?"

"Yeah. Smaller than a Darkside Heartless, but still dangerous. Unlike the Darksides, the Dark Follower can appear in a world still alive. But…he is still powerful."

"Uh…will this be a problem?"

"You kidding?" Alan asked, smiling. "I want to fight it!" He exclaimed, as he dashed towards the giant Heartless.

"H-hey! Wait, Alan!" Kristal exclaimed, wanting him to stop, but it was no use, so she had to chase after him.

Alan ran toward the Dark Follower, who was attacking other soldiers and spellcasters. The Keyblade Wielder cut any Heartless that tried to stop him. His objective was the Dark Follower. Not only it was because it was a menace, but, something inside him told him he HAS to defeat him.

Like some sort of instinct.

However, he noticed something.

More and more Heartless were chasing after him, slowing him in his quest, to the point that he was completely surrounded. It was curious, as it seems they were concentrated on him, and almost ignoring any of his allies, only to chase after him.

"What the-? Why are they only after me?" Asked Alan, as he looked around. "It's like I…attract…them… oh shit…" He said, as he remembered one small thing,

The Keyblade itself.

In the games, it is said that the Keyblade can be a beacon for darkness that is close by and that Heartless will try and chase its owner relentlessly, only to extinguish the pure heart of light that the owner has. This means that the Heartless will be attracted to him, to try and consume him more than to his companions.

And he just ended up being alone.

…in the middle of a sea of Heartless.

"Oh mierda…" Alan said, just as the Heartless jumped on him.

However, a Reflega Dome Shield formed around him, and it blocked all the Heartless, just as Kristal appeared behind him.

"I TOLD YOU TO NOT BE RECKLESS, ALAN!" Exclaimed the blondie mage. "What in Osiris' name were you thinking going alone?! You want to get killed?!"

"Eh…no…" Alan said nervously. "I thought that I could make it but… did you noticed they went after me?"

"…Yeah, I did. They were chasing after you. You know why?"

"It's the Keyblade." Alan answered, as he looked at the Heartless that were trying to claw their way inside the Reflega Shield. "Because to wield one you have to had a strong heart, the Heartless use the light of the Keyblade to chase the owners and consume their Hearts. Since we were always on a group, I totally forgot about that detail."

"Wait, so they will chase at you? Constantly?"

"If they can, they will. And if I am close to them. This is why they are chasing me now. I totally forgot about it."

"So…what's the plan? We are surrounded, and the shield will not last longer."

"Explode the shield." Alan answered. "Sure it will destroy several of them around us."

"What about next?"

"I'm confident I can defeat them."

"Cocky, aren't you now, Alan?"

"No… I FEEL like I can take them. And you, Kristal?"

"…yeah, I can."

"Then…shall we?"

"Sure!"

Both smiled at each other, before Kristal made the Reflega Shield explode, killing all Heartless that were close by. Immediately, both began fighting against the Heartless, with Alan killing them with his Keyblade and Ice Magic, while Kristal used all of her spells to destroy the ones close to her.

Both continued killing Heartless, as more and more keep approaching them. However, they soon began to be overwhelmed, and began feeling tired (although Alan feel he still had much energy), to continue fighting.

"You are ok, Kristal?" asked Alan, as he killed one more Heartless.

"I'm ok." Answer the mage, as she summons and took a Potion and Ether to regain her health and magic energies. "But I am going to run out of potions soon. Aren't you tired?"

"Not really, at least not in energy. It's weird, but latterly, I feel full of energy, but my body IS tired. Not sure how to explain it. Anyway, I can still fight."

The Heartless quickly form in front of them, as they began to dash toward the pair. Suddently, both were surrounded by a large Reflega Dome Shield, that protected them from the Heartless, stopping them in their tracks, and then, a figure appeared in front of the Heartless and, with a sword, began killing them all. Both Kristal and Alan looked at the person.

It was a woman, mostly their age, blondie with blue eyes, with a hair long enough to make herself a spiky ponytail. She wore a white and blue armor, one that showed her legs, and had a bluish white sword on her right hand and a large shield on her left hand. She cut through the Heartless with ease, not expressing any emotion, only indifference. She was a skilled warrior, and both Kristal and Alan could see that.

"Wow, she is good." Said Alan with intrigue.

"You sure you are not saying that because of her also large breasts, right?" asked Kristal with some disdain.

"I…I didn't even notice if they are big." Alan said, turning to look at her blondie spellcaster. "Damn, Kristal, You REALLY expect me to look at them first when I see a woman?"

"…yes."

"Ouch, that hurt."

"I know you are a pervert too, so I expect that." Said Kristal, smiling a little. "But yeah, I know what you mean. She is a good fighter."

"Indeed, but…I don't recognize her class. What is she?"

"She is a Silent Paladin, Alan-kun."

Both Kristal and Alan turned back to look at the white haired mage and Kristal's sister, Kainita, the Silent Magician, who just smiled at them.

"You created the Shield?" asked Kristal.

"Yep. I did when I saw you were in trouble." Kainita said shyly. "Although I don't know why, but it seems like Iridia didn't wanted to come to help."

"Iridia? But…you ARE Iridia, right?" asked Alan.

"Yeah, but…that girl is ALSO called Iridia."

"What?! Really?"

"Yeah, I was also surprised. She doesn't speak much, but after that, she did a little more. She is the one I was supposed to protect but…she can protect herself."

Alan turned to look at the warrior girl. Yeah, she was still fighting against the Heartless, killing them with ease, showing no emotion in doing so.

"So she is a Silent Paladin, eh?" Alan asked to himself, before he smiled. "Well, we can't let her have all the fun! Kristal, rest a little to recover your magic. I will help her."

"W-wait, Alan!" Kristal exclaimed, but he was gone, out of the shield and into the battle. "That man. He is really cocky now."

"Well, Alan-kun surely has changed, right?" said Kainita, as she smiled a little. "He has become more courageous…and handsome."

"…I…" Kristal said, as she didn't know what to say. "A little…maybe…"

"Just open yourself more, sis. Like Kuarzo says: we will don't know when we will die…so we should act like every day is our last."

"I…won't be a pervert like Kuarzo, sis." Kristal answered with disdain.

"Not want you to become one. But…be more honest with yourself."

That left Kristal thinking a little, as she began to concentrate on recovering her energies.

Meanwhile, the Silent Paladin, named Iridia, continued to cut all Heartless with great mastery on her blade, and almost looked like she was dancing with her movements. Completely concentrated on her task, she cut even more enemies, and was about to cut more, when many of them were frozen solid, before being destroyed in pieces. And then Alan appeared.

"Hello there! Need a hand?" asked Alan, smiling at the girl.

However, the Paladin didn't answer, she just looked at him with some…disgust.

"Something wrong?" Alan asked in confusion.

"Are you the…human?" asked Iridia, her face stoic and emotionless, but he could feel the anger in her eyes. "The Keyblade Champion? The so called 'Hero'?"

"Uh, yeah, I am. My name is Alan, and I'm for Ear-"

"It's so pathetic that a weak human is a Keyblade Champion. What a waste."

This left Alan confused, as he didn't expect that reaction. He was about to say something, when she jumped and attacked him…or more exactly, the Heartless that was about to attack him from behind, as the sword of the girl pierced the Heartless head.

"You can't even detect when a Heartless is going to kill you." Said Iridia with anger. "You really are a failure of a hero. That is why we don't need your kind in here. Get out of my way."

The blond woman took her sword away and began walking towards another group of Heartless, turning her back on him. Alan blinked in confusion, before he got a little angry.

"Hey, wait!" he exclaimed, as he dashed towards her and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Why are you acting like this? What have I do-"

"DON'T TOUCH ME!"

-CLANK!-

Alan had to act by instinct, and he immediately released her shoulder and raised his Keyblade, just in time to block the sword strike that was directly to his head. He looked at her in surprise, but she responded looking at him…with anger.

"I don't NEED the help of someone like YOU!" exclaimed Iridia, as she continued to apply force in her sword. "How can the Keyblade choose a weak human like you and not a strong warrior to become the Hero? I will show you we don't NEED Keyblade Champions. This is OUR world, not YOURS!"

Her anger was notable. He could FEEL it in the air. And it was directed at him. He didn't knew why, but this woman hated him for something and he didn't knew why. The Alan from 3 months ago would have taken a step back and crowed in fear, as that was the same reaction he got from some women back on his world: anger and mockery for something he didn't knew he did.

But this was not the same Alan.

"No me vengas con esas pendejadas!" (Don't give me that crap!) Alan exclaimed, as he pushed back with all his strength, his Keyblade deflecting the girl's sword, before both of them turned away and killed some Heartless that TRIED to attack them from behind, but failed, being cut in two by the Keyblade and sword. "I don't know what the hell is your problem with me, but we don't have the TIME for this! We are at WAR! And even if you DON'T want me to help you, others have done so!"

"Anyone who asked for someone like you to help them is pathetic."

"W-What?!" Asked Alan, now enraged, as the memory of the Samurai Daichi passed across his mind.

"I have trained for all my life. I am a proud warrior on my own. I will become the hero my family and others expect me to do. I will not fail. I will NEVER ask the help of someone as weak as y-"

-CLANK!-

Now it was Iridia's turn, as she blocked Alan's Keyblade, who almost hit her in the face. The human was pushing his Key with two hands, as the warrior woman was starting to become overwhelmed.

"How DARE you say that?!" Asked an enraged Alan, his eyes turned yellow for a few moments, as he tried to control himself. "I just watched a proud samurai dying in front of me, and in his last moments he placed his hopes and dreams on me! He gave up his life to save us!"

The woman, the Silent Paladin Iridia, took a step back, as Alan's strength was surprisingly overwhelming.

"You say you are a Hero?" asked Alan again, in anger. "Don't make me laugh! A true Hero will know their limits and ask for help when in need! You are NOT a Hero!"

This comment ignited something in her, as she began to push back.

"YOU DON'T KNOW ME!"

She pushed with al her strength, causing Alan to jump away, as he kept his guard up, just in case. The woman looked at him with hate.

"I will… I will NEVER accept…" Iridia started with anger. "I will NEVER ACCEPT that a weak HUMAN was chosen as a Keyblade Champion! You don't KNOW how much I have given to become this strong! You know NOTHING about being a Hero!"

"A Hero is not someone who is only strong!" Alan exclaimed, as he evaded a Heartless that tried to kill him, before cutting it in half. "You may be strong, but you don't have the HEART of one!"

"A human will lecture me about what a HERO is? Don't make me laugh." Said Iridia, as she turned her back on him. "Whatever. Just don't get close to me…human."

With that said, the Paladin Iridia dashed away, as she continued fighting against more Heartless, leaving a very angry Alan behind. Just then, Kristal and Kainita arrived with him, immediately covering him inside the shield they were using.

"Hey Alan! Are you ok?" asked Kristal in confusion. "We saw how she tried to attack you and then you answer back. What happened?"

"I have no fucking idea, Kristal." Alan answered, still bitter about the whole interaction. "I don't know, she just…hates me."

"What? Why?" asked Kainita.

"No idea. She just said something about me not being…worthy? I have no idea…"

"It's normal of her."

The human and two spellcasters turned to look back, only to see a warrior and a spellcaster joining them. It was the cute Krysopa and the warrior Rahz, who just entered the shield.

"Alan-kun!" exclaimed Krysopa, as she immediately hugged the human, making sure her breasts pressed hard on his right arm.

"Woa! Calm down, Krysopa!" said Alan in response, the act of affection practically evaporating all the anger he just felt. "Oh hey, I'm not angry anymore."

"Hehe, just like Kuarzo neesan told me: boobs make you happy!"

"Uh…yeah…" Alan said, laughing nervously, as Kristal just glared at him, while Kainita was actually hoping she was doing the same as her younger sister.

"Hehe!"

Krysopa's smile just make him smile a little, but then, a small cough called his attention back to the other male in there.

"I'm sorry, I should behave expected her to behave, but it seems she didn't." commented Rahz, as he scratched the back of his head.

"Do you know her?" asked Kristal.

"Of course I do. Her name is Iridia, and she is one of the most skilled warriors of all. She is probably more skilled than General Freed himself."

"What? She is?"

"Yeah. She is a prodigy in our city, only trained by the most powerful swordsmen in town, including her father, the great Silent Swordsman, Baran."

"So she is a prodigy, eh?" Alan asked, as he looked annoyed. "Man, she is VERY annoying."

"She is actually the silent time." Said Rahz. "She rarely talks with anyone, even with us. She DOES smile when one tries to talk to her, although she apologizes and says she is busy. She is still loyal to our cause, so she obeys General Freed, as she respects his abilities, even though she could technically beat him. She is also a beautiful woman."

"Yeah, I noticed…" Alan said, causing the other girls to look at him in annoyance. He didn't notice. "But even if she is a beauty, her personality is…not a good one. Also, what the hell is her problem? She attacked me for reaching for her, and even insulted me. Why?"

"Because YOU are human."

Alan blinked in confusion and surprise.

"Well then, racist much?" Alan asked in annoyance, causing Rahz to smile nervously.

"It's…not like that." Rahz said. "It's just that… the Warrior Clan known of Humans because of ancient texts and relics. We know mostly how they are and, for many, they are not as amazing."

"What do you mean?" asked Kainita with curiosity.

"Humans…are cowards." Said Rahz, causing the mages to gasp in surprise. Alan, however, just stood there. "The idea many warriors in our clan have is that Humans by themselves are weak, and because of that, they are cowards, preferring to flee and save themselves instead of fight. They will leave their friends and family to save themselves."

"W-wait, what?" asked Kristal in confusion. "That's not true! Right?"

"Unfortunately, it is. We have texts of ancient battles, where Humans and Warriors from our clan fought against great evils. Many times, Humans, being weaker than normal Warriors, flee the battlefield, leaving our companions to die. Many Warriors died because the Humans fled. They are weak…and cowards. And that is what many of our Warrior Clan think."

The girls didn't knew what to say. They looked at Alan, to see if he was getting annoyed or angry at the words coming from the Warrior, as he was belittling his whole race. However, to their surprise, Alan just looked at Rahz sternly…before he sighed.

"Well… it's kind of true." Alan shrugged, causing the girls to look at him in surprise. "I mean, the average civilian is pretty weak on their own. They will immediately flee if danger approaches. We value our lives, and wish to continue living, so we flee and try to keep us safe."

However, Alan looked at Rahz sternly again.

"However, humanity is a duality." Alan responded. "Just like there are cowards in our race, there are heroes who will gladly gave up their lives to protect people and others. We will fight to protect our families and friends, and we will push forward even if the chances of victory are low. We will face death if we have to."

"And that is the other side of Humans that other members of the Warrior Clan known, including me." Said Rahz, smiling again. "We know Humans are cowards, but when they have to fight, they will fight to the death. Some humans will become leaders…and Heroes on their own. This is what the majority of our Clan thinks…"

"But not Iridia, right?" asked Kainita, looking back at the female blondie, killing more Heartless.

"Exactly. She is part of the few that believes Humans are cowards, and don't deserve to be Heroes, let alone have a Keyblade. She WANTS to become a hero, and so have trained all her life to become strong enough to protect her people. She event thinks she is qualified to wield a Keyblade, since she plans to use her strength to save everyone…but…"

"She is missing what makes someone a Hero." Alan said, causing Rahz to nod.

"Yes. She believes strength is everything. The stronger she is, the better she will be to save people. Because of that, she doesn't want the help of others: she believes she will be able to do so herself."

"And that is what she is missing." Said Alan. "A Hero…trust in their friends to help them. A Hero KNOWS they can't do all of that alone, even though they WILL try, since a Hero doesn't want to see others hurt. But in reality, a Hero is a mortal, and there is a limit of what one can do."

"Yes, that is the problem. She doesn't get it, but she needs help. We tried to tell that to her but…she is very stubborn."

"I can see that. She will get herself killed eventually. We need to help her."

"I don't think she needs our help, Alan-kun." Said Kainita, as she looked at the battlefield.

"Why not?"

"She just killed that…giant Heartless on her own."

"WHAT?!"

Alan turned to look at where the Darkside-wannabe was, and, effectively, the Silent Paladin Iridia just killed it with a certain slash into the head. The giant Heartless fell into the ground, evaporating into dust.

"Wow…she DOESN'T need help, it seems." Said Krysopa in awe.

"Yeah…" Alan started. "She just killed a Dark Follower on her own. Well, she IS strong. It will be REALLY hard to make her see her mistakes as long as she is stronger."

"Don't pay her much attention." Said Rahz. "It's the path she has chosen. Let her see where that ends."

"Yeah, until our paths cross again." Alan said, as he looked around with determination. "Anyway, we need to continue fighting. Kainita, are you going to return to Iridia?"

"Uh…" Started the Silent Magician, a little weirded because if she didn't know, it would look like Alan was asking her if she will return to herself. "I don't think so. She showed she didn't want me to be close to her, and even told me that I should find another one to help."

"Well…then come with me and Kristal. We will fight close to her so, if she needs help, we will be there."

"Sounds like a plan, human." Said Rahz, taking out his sword. "Let's do this. I will come with you."

"Yey!" exclaimed Krysopa. "I will be able to fight alongside Alan-kun!"

"Just remember you are supposed to protect mister Rahz here, sis." Kristal lectured her youngest sister, as the green haired girl just stuck her tongue out cutely.

"I will, sis!"

"Maybe I will help him too." Said Kainita, as she smiled nervously.

"That will be appreciated." Rahz commented. "You are a lucky man, human."

"Yah, I am." Alan responded. "Alright! Let's go!"

"YEAH!"

Kainita dispelled the Reflega Dome Shield and so the five of them dashed forward, to kill any Heartless that could be close to them. Iridia noticed they were close by, and while annoyed because she KNEW they were there to help in case she needed, she ignored them and continued with her mission.

Several more minutes have passed by and the situation was… VERY complicated for the people on the ground. Many Spellcasters and Warriors have already fallen victim of the Heartless and their Hearts transformed into Heartless themselves. The numbers of the army were falling down and fast.

However, in the skies, the story was different. Not only were they less flying Heartless than on the ground, none of them were a match for Dinara, the Blue Eyes White Dragon, as she effortlessly destroyed any flying Heartless with ease. A small burst of her breath weapon can kill several of them, and a large beam of hers destroyed hundreds. And with the help of some Elemental Heroes and Spellcasters, who managed to heal her so she will recover her energy, she cleared the skies from all Heartless.

And now, she focused on the ground battle.

Dinara started to shoot burst of energy towards the ground forces of the Heartless that were closer to the armies of the Spellcasters and Warriors, removing some pressure from them. Soon, the Spirituel Army were taking a few breaks, thanks to Dinara herself, as less and less Heartless managed to reach them.

"Keep it up, Dinara!" Exclaimed Kuarzo, as the white dragon shoot another burst of energy towards another Heartless group, eradicating them.

"Wow." General Freed started, looking at her in awe. "I can see why the Blue Eyes are so revered in legends: Their power is unmatched."

"Thankfully, she is on our side." Commented Strum, as he killed another Heartless with a spell of him.

"We can't let her all the job now." Said Duncan, as he shoot another powerful spell against a group of Heartless, destroying them in an instant. "We need to continue. The Temple is close by!"

Alan, who was close by, heard that, and had an idea.

"Dinara!" exclaimed the human, calling the attention of the great white dragon. "Create another path so we can go to the Temple!"

"Alright, Master Alan!" Dinara exclaimed, as she opened her mouth to charge another powerful burst of energy. She was ready to shoot…

When suddently, a mighty ball of darkness and flames hit her HARD on her right side, sending the powerful white dragon crashing into the ground, into a group of Heartless, who didn't stand a chance.

"What the hell?!" asked Steve, as he managed to evade the crashing of Dinara, since she crashed very close to him.

Everyone stopped their fight, even the Heartless, as they all wondered what happened and who would be able to blast a white dragon away like that.

And then, a powerful roar, one that shook everyone to the core.

Dinara, still in dragon form, was starting to raise herself up from the ground…

…when she was slammed back into the ground, a large black reptile foot pressed on her neck, immobilizing her immediately, as she felt a whole body on top of hers. She eyed the one who did it…and it shook her to the core.

"It can't be…you are…"

After recovering from the powerful roar, Alan looked in the direction where Dinara fell…and when he did, his heart skipped a beat in surprise…and horror.

On top of Dinara, even bigger than her, was a Red Eyes Black Dragon…

No… it wasn't a simple Red Eyes…

…It was different…

…evolved…

…stronger…

…and his skin looked like it was burning, as it was made of magma…

… it was…

"…a Meteor Black Dragon…" Alan said in surprise.

"No…" Duncan said, as he walked besides him. "Not a Meteor Black Dragon: a Meteor Black COMET Dragon."

"…So…it's worse?"

"...yes..."

"…fuck…" Alan said…as the dragon roared again.

"Intruders… many intruders… I WILL KILL YOU ALL!"

Author Notes:

AND DONE!

So, what do you think of this chapter?

The battle of the Valley has begun, and the armies of good face against the Heartless... But...oh boy, they didn't EXPECT a dragon in there!

This is the part that I wanted to reach for a while, back when the heroes arrived at the library, I was thinking of the battle that will happen in the next chapter. I hope the next chapter will be as epic to you as I believe it is.

Anyway, so I decided to pair a warrior with a spellcaster, instead of being a whole army and sacrifice the warriors, as that was my original idea. I think it's more balanced now.

Also, the Silent Paladin Iridia... yes, I reused that name. I have to admit, when I created Kainita (the Silent Magician that was named Iridia first), I didn't though of the idea of all Mahoro Sisters to have a name that starts with a 'K' until AFTER I posted her here. Because of that, I had to think of an idea of make her name to be Kainita, and that Iridia was a fake name. But since I liked that name, I gave it to ANOTHER Silent Spirituel.

I love the apperance of the Silent Paladin (search it), so I HAD to add her to the fic...and harem :D /shot

But she HATES Alan, because she believes Humans are cowards and dont deserve to be Heroes, let alone have a Keyblade and be a Keyblade Champion. Alan lost it when she insulted him and people who asked for his help as, to be honest, the idea of a woman talking bad of him without knowing him first REALLY triggers him because of his bullied past.

Well, I will see how she will work on the fic.

And how will the army react to the Red Eyes in front of them? Will they be able to resist? Well, you will see in the next chapter, two weeks from now.

Anyway, hope you liked this!

See ya next time!
