Romina Names Names
Romina left to get her scarf and her earring.
"You see, Lisa," Rafael said. "this will be as easy as pie."
"I hope you're right, Rafa, I really do." Lisa sighed, keeping her fingers crossed about Romina.
Romina returned with her earring and scarf in hand and set them on the table.
"These items had been stolen from my trailer a few weeks ago, Rafael and Lisa brought them back when they set me up with Valentino about three days ago." Romina told Jason.
"I was told that the arsonist planted these items when he or she had burned down the stables at Cross County, do you know why these items were planted where the stables used to stand?" Jason asked Romina, showing seriousness in his voice.
Romina just looked Rafael, Jason, and Lisa right in the eye and sighed.
"I know the arsonist... he tried to frame me." Romina confessed.
"Who is it, Romina?" Lisa demanded to know.
Romina hung her head low, she was feeling frightened.
"It is... Georgio Abate from the Sundance clan." Romina answered Lisa.
Lisa could see the look of terror in Romina's brown eyes.
"It's okay, Lillita," Lisa said. "it is all over now."
The next day at the Cavanaugh residence, Kristi went into the kitchen to find Jason eating a cup of cut fruit for breakfast.
"Why would a Romani clan burn down the stables at Cross County?" Kristi heard Jason ask.
"Beats the heck out of me, Jason." Kristi answered.
Jason was suddenly startled from his thoughts.
