Equipment: Magnhild, a two-handed warhammer capable of transforming into a six-chamber 40mm grenade launcher which can fire specialized grenades including HE, Incendiary, Smoke, Flashbang, Homing Rockets, and more. Further upgrades enabled electrical generation from the hammer and her suit to be absorbed into her body.
Semblance: High Voltage – By absorbing external sources of electricity, Nora can channel its energy into her muscles, leading to an exponential increase in physical strength.
Bio: A homeless orphan from a young age, Nora Valkyrie's place of birth is currently unknown, as Nora has either truly forgotten or hasn't deigned to inform me. Regardless, it can be truthfully stated that Nora's story begins in the town of Kuroyuri, where she arrived scavenging for food and shelter. When Kuroyuri was tragically destroyed by the Grimm, only Nora and a young Lie Ren survived. Much like Ren, this event set Nora down the path towards becoming an enthusiastic Huntress, walking side by side with the most important person in her life to ensure the hardship she faced wouldn't have to be endured by anyone else.
Strengths:
Physical Prowess: Nora Valkyrie is the strongest member of team JNPR, and second only to Yang Xiao Long among the entire group of Remnantians. When enhanced by her Semblance, her strength rises exponentially higher. Her power specialty often leads to her being used as her team's "finishing move."
Semblance: Nora's Semblance absorbs electricity and uses the energy to enhance her own physical strength for brief bursts of output. In addition to becoming strong enough to harm Alpha-level metahumans, her bout with Livewire proved that she is a perfect counter against any electricity-based supervillain. Any electrical attacks thrown her away that would cripple or kill a normal human are simply absorbed, leading to their own defeat. She is also capable of adding this charge to her grenades before firing to increase their explosive payload, although this has proven to be less effective with currently available explosive materials compared to her original Dust grenades. When struck by magically-produced electricity, her Semblance's interaction with the magical energy can result in additional effects. This was shown when she was struck by lightning generated by Billy Batson, which is an essential component of the transformational magic that was given to him by the wizard Shazam. As a consequence of absorbing it, Nora's body grew in height and muscle mass in a temporary and possibly incomplete imitation of the empowering transformation used by the intended recipient, leading to her being able to send him flying back several hundred feet with a single hammer blow.
Emotional Maturity: Despite her happy-go-lucky and seemingly manic personality, Nora has displayed remarkable levels of emotional maturity. Sessions with League appointed therapists, including M'gann M'orzz, have remarked about how Nora was surprisingly insightful about the feelings of others and how they were doing, usually at a higher priority than herself. Case in point, Nora became aware of Pyrrha Nikos' attraction towards her partner and leader, Jaune Arc, quite early and attempted to assist behind the scenes by offering sound advice.
Explosives Expert: As a result of her chosen weapon, Nora is an expert in explosive ordinance, both in their creation as well as disarmament. During their bomb defusal exercises while at the Batcave, Nora consistently scored the highest marks and fastest times among her peers.
Chemistry and Ballistics: Nora has displayed a remarkable level of knowledge in the field of chemistry and ballistics. This is due, once again, to her chosen weapon, which has enabled her to craft her own explosives (including one incident where she was creating C4 with Jason Todd/Red Hood, as well as another incident where she revealed she knew the recipe for mustard gas) and fire Magnhild accurately across long distances.
Weaknesses:
Semblance Limitations: Although Nora can absorb tremendous amounts of energy, there is a limit to how much she can safely take on. Too much and her Aura is unable to handle the strain, leading to immense physical pain and possible bodily trauma.
Hand-To-Hand Combat: Although Nora is more than capable of fighting with Magnhild, her hand-to-hand skills are lacking.
Precision: Nora's chosen weaponry, for both long range and melee, is based around large, powerful blasts and impacts. While this is excellent for maximizing damage, she has no personal alternatives for when finesse is required, relying on her partnership with Ren to compensate. As a result, she has struggled the most among her peers in non-lethal combat against opponents with mundane durability, is the most limited when collateral damage must be avoided, and is lacking in stealth.
Defense: While Nora is surprisingly agile for her specialty, and enjoys the same basic durability benefits of a trained Aura as her peers, she has no dedicated defensive strategy. Apart from reactionary dodging and blocking, she follows the philosophy of "the best defense is a good offense," relying on overwhelming her opposition to drive the pace of the battle and defeat them before they can harm her in turn. Combined with the heavy and telegraphed nature of her fighting style, this can provide dangerous openings which skilled opponents can exploit, and she is dependent on the support of her teammates to mitigate this weakness.
Emotional Dependence: Nora shows clear signs of emotional dependence on Lie Ren for her mental wellbeing. Should their relationship begin to seriously fray for whatever reason, she may become plagued by emotional turmoil that would throw off her decision making abilities.
Areas for Training:
Endurance training to increase the threshold of electricity her Semblance can take on without risk of bodily harm.
Addition of more precise combat options.
Martial arts training to improve CQB capabilities.
Expand and develop repertoire of active defenses.
Encourage more independence during therapy sessions.

The incident with Poison Ivy has confirmed the necessity of these contingencies while also revealing several glaring flaws. As such, I will be continuing to create and modify these plans should they ever need to be used again, even if their creation has unfortunately led to a near complete breakdown in trust between them towards myself. I accepted that risk when I started making these contingencies, and will continue to do so now. The alternative is simply not an option.
Should Nora Valkyrie be placed under mind control or otherwise forced into opposition against the League, the best tactic would be to deprive her of any electricity. Luring her away from civilization would deprive her of readily available sources such as power lines, electrical outlets, and more. Should that prove impossible, I have also created an insulating foam based off of my earlier glue grenades that can be safely sprayed onto Nora which will prevent her from absorbing any electricity while also immobilizing her to some capacity.
Attempting to overpower Nora would be an exercise in futility. Speed and stealth would be the best options in taking her down should a physical confrontation be required, striking her repeatedly with small, light attacks rather than one massive blow. Separating her from her team would also prove prudent, allowing easier exploitation of the holes in her defense that her allies typically cover.
Upon further research following Jaune Arc and Lie Ren's abduction by Poison Ivy, I found that the Aura-draining nanites were attacking the muscular and nervous systems. Had the nanites not worked as intended and stopped functioning following their Aura being depleted, the risks of long-term muscle and nerve damage would have been high. This was unacceptable, and as such the nanites have been shelved until the matter can be resolved.
In the meantime, attention towards the armor component of Project HUNTER-BAT has been ongoing and accelerated. Advancements in the nano-muscular ballistic weave and lightweight armor plating have proven promising. When properly powered, the suit can enhance a person's strength to near the levels that Aura naturally provides. The power requirements, however, are far too great with current technology. I am hoping, however, that the Dust Revitalization Project conducted at Wayne Enterprises will provide a lightweight yet highly functional power source for the suit. That will take time, however, and as such Project HUNTER-BAT, as well as the lessons learned from Project BATWING, have been consolidated into the existing Project BEYOND.
