It feels appropriate to update this for the first time in ages on Valentine's Day. This chapter is NOT Cursed Child compliant. I can't stand Rose in Cursed Child.

Bet- Scorpius and Rose

It started as a bet, the same kind they had done a million times before.

"Hey, Scorp, how about whoever gets a lower score on this test has to buy the winner a butterbeer on the next Hogsmeade trip?" (Rose had always taken her father's challenge to "Make sure you beat him on every test, Rosie" seriously.)

"You're on, better put some money aside, Weasley."

It started as a bet, but Albus couldn't come on that Hogsmeade trip and suddenly it didn't feel like two friends hanging out, it felt like a date.

And they found they liked that idea.
