A few days before the case
Granger was explaining to Hetty that he was going to be away for a bit, and then:
'I know.' Hetty said.
'Know what?'
'I know Miss Kim is your daughter. And before you ask how I know, I figured it out soon after Christmas.' Hetty said.
'Why am I not surprised? You, are the only one who knows, right?' Granger asked.
'I'll keep it a secret if that's what you want.'
'Thank you.'
After the case
'Ring ring!' Granger's phone rang.
'I was wondering when you were going to check in, Henrietta.'
'Just a good partner being concerned, dear.' Hetty answered.
'Well, I'm not coming over tonight. And I'm going to help her out. I, owe her a lot of years.'
'I can imagine.'
'I shouldn't have let her mother keep me from her for so long.'
'Well, when can we hang out again?' Hetty asked.
'Um, Maybe a few days from now.' He responded.
'Well, you 2 have a good time, and Owen?'
'Yeah?'
'I'm proud of you.' She said.
(Smiling), 'Thank you. I'm proud of you as well.'
