"Where was the last place you saw Selena, Carmen?" Lisa inquired.
Rafael appeared with a bag of horse feed for Diablo slung over his right shoulder.
"Selena, Carmen, and I went to JB's for a celebratory dinner last night." Rafael answered just before Carmen could even speak.
Jason could see Lisa getting red in the face due to anger.
"Are you two-timing me with Selena, Rafael?" Lisa asked, she was angry.
"Calm down, Lisa," Rafael exclaimed. "you've got it all wrong!"
"A likely story." Lisa said to Rafael.
"My big brother is telling the truth, Lisa! The dinner at JB's was to celebrate my straight A report card!" Carmen protested.
"Oh, wow! I'm so sorry, Carmen, I didn't know that it was even family related!" Lisa said.
"Next time, Lisa," Rafael reminded. "just ask."
"I will, Rafa Darling," Lisa said. "I promise."
Jason looked at Lisa, Carmen, and Rafael.
"We should be getting back to the case." Jason reminded Lisa, Rafael, and Carmen.
"Oh!" Rafael exclaimed.
"Right!" Carmen agreed.
"We should get back to the case! Thank you, Jason!" Lisa said forgetfully.
Jason looked at Carmen again, "When was the last time you saw your tutor at JB's?" he asked.
"Ms. Madero was last seen heading for the little girls' room, Rafael and I waited for her to return for about an hour, but she never showed up." Carmen answered Jason.
