Chapter 58-The Order
Billy stood outside watching the ashes that were the pyre's the night before. He hears footsteps and turns around and sees Murphy, who walks up to him and stands by him. "Didn't think Raven would let you out of her sight," Murphy says.
"She'll be pissed when she wakes up," Billy tells Murphy with a smirk.
"What are you doing out here? You should be resting," Murphy says.
"I had to see it. It brought a sense of peace knowing I burned his body," Billy tells Murphy. "And the fights aren't over yet,"
"What are you talking about? We won, they left," Murphy says. Billy nods as he turns around and walks towards the gate.
"Gather everybody," Billy tells Murphy as he walks into camp. Murphy watches him for a minute before he follows him. An hour later, everybody was in the council room. Billy was sitting in a chair after Abby and Nyko ordered him to.
"What is this about?" Lexa asks.
"How many of the clanless retreated?" Billy asks.
"About a hundred," Bellamy tells him.
"I want them found and killed," Billy says.
"Why? They retreated. We don't need to kill them," Emma says.
"They will come back, and I'm not losing anybody else. This isn't a request. It's an order," Billy tells them.
"You don't order us," Lexa says.
"No, I don't, but I do everybody in here that is Skaikru. When we leave for Mount Weather, they may attack again, and that will leave this camp with very few guards. I am not risking my people," Billy tells the grounder commander. "Make groups and find them. They may have stayed around to watch the pyres. Otan should stay and rest,"
"And if they have women and children?" Luna asks.
"Spare them, but if they ever come back, they die," He tells her before he leaves the room.
"He's not even second-guessing it," Kane says.
"No, he lost friends to them and almost lost his life. You should be glad you didn't order to kill the women and children," Indra tells him. "They are on my land too. I will lead a group,"
"You agree with him?" Clarke asks.
"Yes," Indra says. She looks at Claire and Lincoln. "You two are Trikru. You will come with me. That is also an order," She leaves the room.
"They don't need to die," Raven says. "Maybe I can talk him out of it,"
"You can't. His mind is set on it," Roan tells her. "We have to kill the rest of them,"
"You have a choice Roan," Lexa tells him.
"I'm going to help. They will need it," Roan tells her.
"If we refuse to help. What happens?" Murphy asks.
"Treason," Byrne tells him. "He won't kill you, but he might punish you. You may not like it, but it would make things easier,"
"Let's just get it done," Bellamy says as he leaves the room. The others slowly follow. Murphy walks into the armory and grabs a gun, and loads it. He turns around and sees Indra.
"Grab Octavia, you two are with me," Indra tells Murphy, who nods as he walks past her. He walks to Octavia's room and opens the door. He sees Octavia on the bed with her sword in her hand.
"O," Murphy says. She looks up at him. "Come on. We are with Indra," Octavia nods as she stands up and follows him out of the room. Roy and Miller walk up to Roan, who was about to leave.
"We want to come with you," Roy tells the man. Roan looks down at them.
"Fine. Your father is coming as well, Miller," Roan tells Miller, who nods as David comes down to them. "Let's go," They follow him out of the gate. Kane grabs his gun as Callie comes over to him.
"I'm coming," She tells him.
"Callie," Kane says.
"I'm coming, Marcus," She says again.
"Fine, grab a gun. We are going with Gustus, Atom, and Emori," Kane tells her. She nods as she follows. Billy sat at the bar outside Alpha station when Raven came over.
"You should be getting ready," He tells her.
"I'm not going. I'm staying here," Raven says as she sits down. "You won't hurt me for not following an order,"
"You're right, I won't," He tells her as he takes a drink. "Anybody still here?"
"Lexa left with Clarke, Ontari, and Wells. Anya and Luna left with Tris, and Claire. Bellamy left with Emma, Myles, Harper, and Nyko," Raven tells him. "Jake and Wick are working in the workshop and sent me out here. Byrne has the guards ready,"
"And you are here because?" He asks.
"To talk some sense into you. Roy came into the medical and said that he was sorry for telling you that everybody who dies in Mount Weather would be your fault. He knows he was wrong. But if someone dies out there looking for them, that will be on you. You gave the order to go after the remaining clanless when there was no need to. I hope everybody comes back for your sake cause if you think killing Finn felt bad. You didn't have a choice then. You had this time," Raven tells him before she stands up and walks away. Billy takes a drink and motions for another.
Bellamy's group
Bellamy led Emma, Myles, Harper, and Nyko through the woods. They all had guns beside Nyko, who had a sword. "Do you agree with this?" Myles asks Bellamy, who looks back at him.
"No, but I would rather kill them than cause a fight in camp and divide us," Bellamy tells him. "They killed our people, but they gave up. Remember, we spare the innocent," They nod as they hear talking ahead of them. They move in slowly and see about 15 people walking around. Ten of them being men. Bellamy looks at Nyko.
"These are clanless," Nyko tells him. Bellamy nods as he cocks his gun. He closes his eyes for a moment before he opens them and fires on one of the men. The women and the children run into the tent as the men pull out their weapons. Bellamy steps out from behind the bushes and shoots the men down as Myles, Harper, and Emma do the same behind them. Nyko watches the back. Myles shoots the last man as they hear a woman scream in the tent. Bellamy goes to the opening of the tent and moves it open. One of the women swings at him with a sword. Bellamy ducks and hits her in the face with his gun.
"Stop," Bellamy tells them. "We're not hurting you,"
"You killed our healer, and she is having a child," One of the women said. Bellamy looks at the woman on the bed.
"Nyko," Bellamy says. Nyko comes into the tent and looks at the woman. He walks up to her.
"My name is Nyko kom Trikru. I am a healer let me help you," Nyko says. The woman nods. "I need water and towels," The other woman nodded as Nyko motions Emma over. "I need your help," He tells her. She nods as she bends down by him. Bellamy walks outside and sits down as the children look at the dead bodies. After the woman comes out of the tent, Bellamy looks at them.
"You should take the kids and leave," Bellamy tells them.
"We cannot leave her. She will have no one," The woman says.
"I'll take her back to Alpha station. We have doctors there who can help them. These kids shouldn't see this," Harper says.
"You promise this?" A woman asks.
"We do," Myles says. Bellamy nods.
"Come, children," The woman says. Bellamy pulls out his handgun.
"Here, just in case. Just aim and shoot," The woman grabs the handgun slowly and leaves with the children. Bellamy sits back down as they wait for Nyko and Emma.
Roan's group
Roan, Roy, Miller, and David walk through the woods with their weapons out when they hear a horse. The three members of Skaikru raise their weapons as a woman comes out of the woods looking beat up. She had blood going down her head and cuts on her face. "Get down," Miller says. The woman holds her hand up and gets off the horse.
"Where did you come from?" Roy asks her.
"Azgeda. Nia had me and cut and hit me. She let me go and told me to deliver a message. She told me to tell the commander to deliver Ontari back to her, or there will be problems," The woman says.
"Don't move," Roan says to her as he pulls the three men away.
"What?" David asks.
"My mother doesn't have people deliver messages. She kills someone and delivers a body," Roan tells them. "You have something to restrain people, right?" David nods as he hands him zip ties. Roan nods as he walks over to the woman. "Turn around," He says to her harshly. She turns around, and Roan ties her up.
"What are you doing?" She asks.
"Being safe. We are going back," Roan tells them. "What is your name?"
"Lena," Lena had blond hair and green eyes.
"We're going back," Roan says as he starts to walk back to Alpha station.
"What about the clanless?" Miller asks.
"The others can deal with them," Roan tells them. They nod as they start to follow him.
Kane's group
Kane, Callie, Gustus, Atom, and Emori looked on in a camp with 20 men and no women or children. Kane aims down the scope and fires. The first man falls to the ground as Kane, Atom, and Callie fire as Gustus and Emori go towards the men and kill them. Kane shoots the last man in the chest and looks at the bodies that were close together. Atom was beside him as Callie stood behind him. He looks at the man and looks up. "There were 20 men," Kane says. "There are only nineteen bodies,"
"One most likely ran," Atom says. A second later, they heard a gasp behind them. They turn around. Callie stood looking at them with a sword through her chest.
"No!" Kane yells as the grounder pulls his sword from Callie's chest.
"Jus drein jus daun," He says. Atom raises his gun and shoots the man in the head as Kane catches Callie as she falls to the ground. Kane moves the hair away from her eyes as blood goes down her chin.
"Hey, Hey," Kane says as he grabs his hand. "Hold on, baby, hold on," Callie looks at Kane as she takes her last breath. Her grip on Kane's hand loosens, and her hand and body go limp. Kane sobs as he rests his forehead against his dead wife's.
Thanks for reading. Callie's death was kinda a last-minute thing, but I felt that she wasn't doing much, and her death would be a story for Kane, so here we are. I do have a question would you guys rather see this story in third person POVs? So like it would go between povs for people like Billy, Murphy, Octavia, Raven, Lexa, and so on. So let me know.
